just had to install an ikea cabinet door in the wrong order 💀

#like the two sides of the hinges wouldn’t click if the door was already attached #so i had to unscrew everything #and join the hinges together first #and then screw on the back piece that was mean to be inside the frame #and then i held the door up to try to fit the screws of the outer hinge into the screw holes #and screwed it in with like a centimetre of space with the door closed otherwise the screws wouldn’t be aligned 💀#this is the first time i’ve had issues with ikea furniture pls i usually love building it it’s like giant lego #but this fucking door 😭#and that’s after i had to wait 2 weeks for extra spare hinges cause they weren’t the right kind in the package???#ANYWAY this cabinet’s been awkwardly standing in the middle of the room for over 3 weeks now thank god it’s finally done #if u read this far hi ily 💞#text

You were Medic’s soulmate. To have someone that matched his insane energy, and his love for science was all he could ask for. That was why you needed to understand he was a bit iffy when you experimented on yourself

When you first met Medic, he was more than happy for you to experiment on yourself. In fact, he encouraged it! He tried to join in on the fun, giving you crazy injections or concoctions. But now that you were close, now that he loved you… it was a little different

“What did you do to yourself this time?” Medic asked. He broke your insane gaze to look down at the broken syringe on the floor. “What is that? Don’t tell me you injected that into yourself!”

You held your hands up in a surrender. “I was gonna, but you interrupted me!” You exclaimed

Medic sighed in relief, giving your shoulders a squeeze. “Thank goodness. I told you not to experiment on yourself anymore! You are going to get yourself killed.” He scolded

You smiled madly and shook your head. “That’s what you’re for! If I die, you can just bring me back! It’s all for science.” You giggled

Medic shook his head too. “No, dear. I don’t want you to die ever. Even if I can bring you back. I care for you too much to watch you do these things to yourself. That’s what the others are for!” He argued, referring to experimenting on the mercs instead

You shrugged under his hands. “I know. It’s just funner this way. I like to feel what happens.” You said

Medic bit back a smile before leaning in to place a quick kiss to your nose. “Nein, do not care. If you cannot stop for yourself, at least stop for me.” He frowned seriously

Your stared down at the broken syringe for a second, before looking up at him with a crazy smile. You stepped closer to kiss his cheek warmly, before grinning at him some more

“Okay, doctor.” You agreed, making Medic smile back. “I can do it for you.”

Everything about that fic was… unexpected I guess??? I wrote it in like two weeks after putting it off for months, wrote it on a family vacation, and I literally had no one read it over too!! I just wrote it, and then posted it quickly because it was stressing me out sm to just… have. I was expecting like maybe 50 notes and it has 3k????

I am in SHOCK that anyone would consider it a comfort fic, much less their fav fic of all time??? Like I loved the story and thought about it CONSTANTLY and that’s why it stressed me so much when it was done but to have it recieved the way it was??? I’ll never forget that I’m so so so glad you liked it so much 🫶 I can’t believe I got an ask about it!! It hasn’t even been a year but it has so many notes on it I’m surprised when someone likes it, and I’m surprised that this long after anyone still thinks about it!

when sunoo sees you walk into the cafe, his heart stops. the biggest crush he's had since that curly haired boy in the 6th grade just walked through the glass door and he's the only person working. a whole nine hour shift and this exact moment is when jungwon decides to take a toilet break. sunoo isn't sure whether to praise jungwon or cuss him out.

you and your three friends walk towards him and sunoo has to remind himself to breathe.

it's not exactly unusual to for you to be at the campus cafe, not only are you a student but you also work here, but in sunoo's four months of employment here, you'd only ever once worked a shift with him and had never visited during his usual sunday shift.

breathe, sunoo, he tells himself before plastering on his brightest customer service smile and greeting your group. "hello, welcome to campus coffee! what can i get you guys?"

your tallest friend orders first. "can i get..."

and then the blonde one and the one with tiny dinosaurs hanging from her ears and then you.

"hi, sunoo," you say with a kind smile and sunoo's heart almost explodes.

"hi, y/n," he manages to reply without tripping over his words.

"i'll just get a regular cappuccino with an extra shot," you say.

unbeknownst to you or him, sunoo, still enthralled by your beauty, misses the cappuccino bottom on the screen and hits caramelised cappuccino instead. you pay then join your friends at the waiting area.

"i'll handle to cap and americano," sunoo tells jungwon returns from the bathroom, leaving the other two orders to him.

"cool."

as one of the most popular drinks these days, sunoo speeds through your friend's americano. now it's time for your drink. sunoo pauses, takes a deep breath and exhales, hands following the out breath in a sharpay evans-esque way. as his crush and the person who trained him on his first shift, sunoo desperately wants to impress you with his coffee making skills.

"let's do this," he whispers.

ground coffee into the portafilter. shot pot ready to collect. milk steaming. caramel fudge into cup. three espresso shots ready. into cup. mix with caramel. milk in. weigh. froth. chocolate powder on top. kiss of cream. lid. done!

sure that this is the best coffee he's ever mad yet still nervous, sunoo takes another deep breathe then carefully carries the cup to the collection bench. "y/n!" he calls out.

you walk over and take the drink from his hands. your fingers touch briefly. "thanks, sunoo," you say, smiling at him again.

"you're welcome," sunoo replies, heart rate at a million miles an hour.

"see ya!"

hand waving absent-mindedly, sunoo watches you away, admiring the shine and bounce of you hair. god, you're so beautiful. if only he knew how to tell you.

"closing time!" jungwon shouts.

"okay!" sunoo sings back, moving around the counter to go lock the door.

but the bell above it rings before he makes it.

he stops. "y/n."

"sunoo," you say, equally as shocked to see him so quickly.

"we were just about to close. can i quickly get you something?"

"no no, i was just coming back to tell you that you did a really good job on my coffee today. i'm glad to see you've improved."

sunoo ducks his head to hide the instant smile that appears in response to your compliment.

"it wasn't what i ordered but it was a nice surprise."

his head shoots back up, eyes wide. "pardon?"

"oh," you say with a slight head tilt. "so you didn't mean to make it like that for me?"

"it was a caramelised cappuccino, right?" sunoo asks.

"that's what you gave me. i ordered a regular cappuccino, though, so i thought maybe you were trying to be nice. caramelised caps are an extra fifty cents, you know."

sunoo is horrified. if the ground spontaneously opened up and swallowed him whole he would thank it. how could he have messed up like this?

you see the terror on his face and rush to comfort him. "it's okay, though! it was really yummy. maybe you just put it in wrong at the register."

"i'm so sorry," sunoo says, bowing his head to you. "i'll refund you."

"no, it's okay! trust me! i've never had one before today and i really liked it. it's okay."

"are you sure?" sunoo asks, grimacing slightly.

"positive," you say.

"okay." sunoo racks his brain for something else to say to you, but before he can you're already heading back out the door.

"i'll leave you to close up then." you pause and turn back to sunoo. "are you working tomorrow?"

"yes."

you smile. "cool. i'll have to drop by. maybe you can surprise me again."

you wink and then you're gone, leaving sunoo and his tomato red face to stare wide-eyed at the floor, asking himself if that really just happened.

1. I’ve been binge reading The Raven Cycle this month, and it’s been a lot of fun!! Are all the characters completely overly dramatic and annoying at times? Yes. But I love them <3

1. The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1)

Okay, so I remember reading this and halfway through being like, “wait, nothing has really happened 🤨” but I was not upset about it. Like it’s very atmospheric and character based. I really enjoy how all the characters interact with each other :) I did not really understand the power system but I am figuring it out now I think 🗽 also there was a guy named Whelk in it, and I could only picture him as the animal crossing whelk image.

2. The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #2)

Okay…is this one the most confusing, and made me most annoyed by the characters? Yes. Did I still have a good time? Yes :) I am now semi obsessing over them <3 I can’t really describe this book, because so much happened, yet so much wasn’t explained. 😭

3. Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle #3)

Having a blast with this one, though I’m not finished with it yet. Like okay icons, commit crimes and start problems 🕺 love that Adam is joining Rachel Berry in giving the bisexuals a problematic icon. Good for them <3

4. Layla by Colleen Hoover

This might be the worst book I’ve read this year 😭 like I can’t say too much without giving spoilers, but I will absolutely fight Leeds in the back of a 7-Eleven. I am amazed that this book is still considered somewhat of a romance, because just how awful the main love interest is. 😭 this is the 2nd Colleen Hoover book I’ve read, and I don’t think I’ll read anymore. I hate how it villainizes mental illness, but yet supports Leeds’ horrible actions and excuses it as “acts of love” :/

A/n: hi……*hides behind chair* so sorry for disappearing for the past week. I got caught up in preparing for school and things. I’m back though, and I’ll be posting daily again, answering requests as best I can! Sorry if this was a bit shorter than normal, it was kind of hard getting my inspo back. :)

It was late one Friday afternoon when Shinsou had decided to pick you up and grab takeout. You two had discussed just going to his dorm or your’s and eating there. However, you proposed maybe something more outdoor friendly, and he surprisingly agreed.

It was fall, so the air was a bit chilly, but nothing too extreme. In fact, it actually felt better outside. A nice contrast from summer. Since it was late evening, you two chose the park because you both knew it wouldn’t be crowded.

You both didn’t talk much on the way there, just let the radio play and watch as trees and houses go by. Eventually arriving to your destination.

You guys found a spot with nice soft grass and not many trees or lights around so you could see the stars.

Laying out the blanket for your picnic was a bit of a challenge on your own, the wind kept blowing it every which way and you were starting to get frustrated. Shinsou came back with the takeout that had been left in the car and saw you struggling.

“Does someone need help?” He asked, laughing a little as he sat the takeout bag on the ground to come and help you.

“I swear the blanket is against me.” You mumbled, aggravation in your voice

“Oh, look at that, the blankets fine now.” He said, pointing to the blanket laid perfectly flat against the ground.

“It likes you.” You stated, sitting down and grabbing your food out of the bag.

“Hm,I see you and the blanket have something in common.” He proposed

You snorted “I guess we do.”

You two sat and talked about your days. The good parts, the bad parts. Then, the conversation moved to just more general things. What tv shows you had been watching, if he had seen any good movies, if you both had done anything interesting lately.

You and Shinsou finished your food, and the away your trash in a nearby trash can. Going back to your blanket, you two just layer down and stared up at the stars. Continuing your conversation on different song lyrics.

“Do you have a favorite lyrics from one of their songs?” You asked him.

“Coldplay?” He replied

“Yeah, Coldplay.” You said

“I do.” He responded

“What might that be.” You questioned, turning your head to look at him, finding that we was already staring at you. His hair blew slightly in the soft night breeze. You looked into his violet eyes, which seemed to contain a little bit of magic in them. Oh, how beautiful they where.

“And what may that be?” You inquired, a small smile coming onto your face.

He look at you with such caring eyes, as if you were the only thing in the world that mattered to him at this moment. Which, was true, for Shinsou, all he cared about in this moment, was you.

His wonderful, loving, and supportive significant other. Who was always there for him, who never told him he was scary or made to be a villain. Who believed in him when he didn’t even believe in himself. You where like his light in the dark, almost like a star.

“Look at the stars, look how they shine for you.” He spoke out into the silence, making your smile grow even bigger at the familiar lyric.

“Yellow, in their 2000 album, the first one they ever released. It’s your favorite isn’t it?” You recalled, remembering him telling you he had a soft spot for their first album.

“Yeah, if’s my favorite, but that’s not why I like the lyric.” He informed you.

“Why is it then?” You asked, genuine curiosity clear in your inquiry.

“It’s because every time I hear the lyric, it reminds me of you.” He answered, his lips turning up into a soft smile.

You couldn’t help but blush, it was such a sweet comment. You had been with Shinsou for awhile yes, but things like that never failed to make your heart flutter. Never failed to make your facial muscles unable to resist a smile, and never failed to make you a flustered mess.

“Have I ever told you how much I loved you?” You said, a small laugh being clear in the question.

He leaned over and kissed you on the cheek. It was a quick kiss, but that didn’t mean it didn’t make the butterflies in your stomach go ballistic.

“I love you too my dear, I love you too.” He told you.

Both of you payed there for most of the night. Eventually you guys grasped each other’s hands. You two talked some, and then let the silence take over to just stare up at the stars. It was a peaceful and simple night, but it was one you would never forget.
