Those thoughts were obviously put aside the moment Billy noticed how you and Stu looked at each other. Billy had never seen you as amused and happy with a guy as you were with Stu, your eyes so bright that he was convinced the words sadness and boredom were no longer known to you. However, that wasn't enough to convince Billy that Stu was good for you, and that was the reason you drifted away from him: although he made your days brighter and vice-versa, Billy didn't lose his overprotective sibling attitude, always keeping an eye on his "sweet and innocent" sister.

"I'm going out with Sidney." Billy told you, while you were reading a romance book on the sofa about a serial killer who fell in love with one of his victims. When your brother said he was going out on a date with his girlfriend, you simply looked at him with a raised eyebrow, as if you didn't believe there were any genuine romantic intentions in what he had just said. "What?" he sounded annoyed by your judgmental gaze.

"Hm I don't know, you don't seem very excited about it. It looks like you don't even have true feelings for the girl." your tone was confident and assertive, since you knew your twin brother all too well. He just rolled his eyes at your comment, not wanting to admit you were right.

"Just cut it out, ok? As if you know what real love feels like, anyway." annoyance was present in his voice as he searched for his house keys.

"As if my lovely brother allows me to know what real love feels like." you simply replied, not moving your eyes from your current favorite book. Although you weren't looking at him, you could tell Billy's gaze on you could kill if you stared back.

"Y/N, we've talk about this. I'm not gonna let you be with Stu, you got that? I know him better than you, so listen to me for once and stop being such a brat." at this, it was your turn to roll your eyes, before getting up from the couch and heading to your room.

"Whatever Billy, enjoy your lovely date." you intentionally made an annoying tone at the word "lovely", which made Billy even more pissed by your behavior.

"I'll be back in two hours. Don't even think about inviting Stu over. I'm dead serious, Y/N." and with a final warning followed by a death stare, he closed the door to go out with his girlfriend that he pretended to be in love with for whatever reason.

You never understood why Billy was so overprotective over you when it came to Stu. Did he know something you didn't? Was Stu somehow dangerous or would he break your heart into a million pieces? Even if that was the main reason, honestly you didn't mind finding out for yourself if it meant you could be with Stu sexually or even romantically.

No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't concentrate on your novel after that conversation with your brother. Those questions couldn't leave your mind either, so you decided to use your free time to take care of yourself and get a proper treatment. "Stu? What are you doing here?" you frowned as your eyes widened in disbelief, immediately feeling your cheeks turn red, because Stu was seeing you in your pajamas for the first time. Perhaps you should have checked who it was before opening the door so confidently, you noted mentally.

"Oh hey, Y/N! I didn't expect you to open the door. Not that I mind, you look really cute. Where's your brother?" you felt his big blue eyes on you, clearly checking you out as he looked you up and down. He also complimented you as if it was the most natural thing for him to do, probably having no idea of how hysterical it made you feel inside. After that, he walked past you as if he felt he had the right to enter your house without waiting for your permission.

"Uh... Billy didn't tell you? He left with Sid like half an hour ago. You should come back later or call him instead if you want to talk to him." you tried to say the right words so that Stu would get the message that he had to leave, since you didn't want to upset your brother and go against his word. However, deep down, if you listened to your needs, you wanted nothing more than to stay with Stu and enjoy his company, allowing yourself to get to know him better without being pressured into making small talk with him.

"Nahh it's cool, I can wait here. Wanna watch a movie? There's this crazy horror movie that came out recently and I really wanna watch it! Since Billy is not here, we could watch it together, what do you say?" his enthusiasm and energy were something you'd never seen before, and you found it very ironic and funny that he was the complete opposite of Billy, yet they managed to have such a deep and strong friendship. You were left speechless, knowing that your plan to convince Stu to leave your house before your brother got back went down the drain.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds like a plan." you answered, trying not to sound too excited about the idea of watching a movie with him and finally being able to be close to him and having some time alone with him as well.

"That's my girl! Where's the popcorn?" he asked casually, as he headed towards the pantry since he already knew yours and Billy's house like the back of his hand. What was he trying to do?? Drive you crazy with his constant compliments and flirting? Thoughts on Chap. 3 of The Prisoner's Throne (SPOILERS)

hello readers, forgive me for the typos, there are so many things about this chapter that had me screaming. Enjoy my thoughts!!!

Wren has to be one of the scariest characters ever written by holly black.

Her mouth curves into a smile, but it isn’t a nice one. “By Grimsen, I command you to do exactly as I say from here forward. You will stay on your knees until I say otherwise.”

Oak should have left when he had the chance.

Nahhh! I knew since TSH that we were gonna see Wren use the bridle on Oak, but now that i'm READING THIS it's still INSANE that she's willingly using it to CONTROLL him fully, it makes me think of Jude and Cardan, and how Jude kind of sorta had control of Cardan, but only by Pledge. Jude also had a power to command Cardan whatever she wished him to do, but she never ordered him to do something like THIS. Wren seems to have no mercy on Oak. She could legit make him kill or hurt anyone, she could make him jump off a bridge or say anything. Kind of also reminds me of when Locke ordered the ghost to betray Jude and the court of shadows, and how the Ghost had no control over his actions, and how in TQON he asked Jude to kill him because he'd rather die than be controlled by anyone. Wren did not come to play. This is so scary!!!

He finds her fascinating. He’s always found her fascinating, but he is not foolish enough to tell her that. Especially not in this moment, when he is afraid of her.

Oak is literally being controlled and is bridled and these are his thoughts…he's so downbad that it could actually get him killed.

“I am already bridled,” he says, feeling a little frantic. “You don’t need to lock me away. I can’t harm you unless you let me. I am entirely in your power. And when I did escape, I came directly to your side. Let me kneel at your feet in the throne room and gaze up adoringly at you.”

THE LAST LINE!! IM DYINGGG!! THIS MAN NEEDS TO STOPPPPPP, OH OAKKKKK YOURE SOOOOO DOWNN BADDDDD FOR WREN

“I have to occupy myself somehow,” he says. “When I am between moments of gazing adoringly, of course.”

I have no words…Not Oak trying to use his charm on her, like dude, i dont think thats gonna work.

The door opens, and Fernwaif comes in, a single guard behind her. Oak recognizes him as Bran, who occasionally sat at Madoc’s dinner table when Oak was a child. He looks horrified at the sight of the prince on his knees, wearing the livery of a guard beneath a stolen cloak.

I absolutely LOVE that we’re getting past memories of Oak when he was a child. It also helps the readers feel nostalgic from reading the folk of the air series. When Jude, Taryn, Vivi, Oak, Madoc, and Oriana lived in peace.I hope we get so many of these moments…even though i have to say this paragraph is a little sad, how Oak recognized the guard as one of his fathers friends..

“You don’t know me as well as you think, Greenbriar heir,” she says. “I remember your stories, like the one about how you used a glamour against your mortal sister and made her strike herself. How would you like to feel as she felt?”

NOT HER USING THIS AGAINST HIM!!! Love how that moment keeps being brought up. (And i predict that Oak will apologize to Jude about it in this book)

“I’ll slap myself silly willingly, if you like,” he offers. “No need for a command.”

OAK STOPPP IM DEAD

“What if, instead, I force you onto your hands and knees to make a bench for me to sit upon?” Wren inquires lightly, but her eyes are alight with fury and something else, something darker.

Wren.... I don't think that sounds like a punishment to him sweetie…

“Crawl to me.” Her eyes shine, fever bright.

GUYS ITS THE LINE!! THE LINEEE!! SHE SAYS THE LINEEE HOLY SHI-

Again, Oak’s body moves without his permission. He finds himself writhing across the floor, his stomach against the carpet. He flushes with shame.

SHES SO WRONG FOR THAT. SHE'S HUMILIATING HIMM! Not even Jude did these thing to Cardan *sobs*

When he reaches her, he stares upward, rage in his eyes. He’s humiliated, and she’s barely begun. She was right when she said he didn’t understand what it would feel like. He hadn’t counted on the embarrassment, the fury at himself for not being able to resist the magic. He hadn’t counted on the fear of what she would do next.

This is actually very sad. Wren is treating him somewhat in a way that she had been treated. She's hurt, and I guess it's very understandable, I just wish she didn't have to inflict that pain on Oak.

Oak cuts his gaze toward Bran, who has remained stiff and still, as though afraid to draw Wren’s attention. The prince wonders how far she would go if he were not present.

Two things!! Number one I literally FORGOT the guard was still in the room and he had to WATCH oak crawl to her. Number two, That last line…..what kind of things would she has ordered Oak to do if the guard had not been in the room……(side eye)

Wren turns to him. “Perhaps I ought to have you sent to the Great Hall tomorrow and command that you endure ten strikes of an ice whip. Most barely get through five.”

Oh my god, she really is EVIL DUDE. I've never seen this kind of evil in a holly black book. Now I'm scared.

Oak looks directly into her eyes. “Why are you keeping me at all, Wren? Am I a hostage to be ransomed? A lover to be punished? A possession to be locked away?”

“That,” she says, bitterness in her voice, “is what I am trying to figure out myself.” She turns to the guards. “Take him back to his cell.”

OH IM VERY EXCITED TO SEE WHAT SHE'S PLANNING. Remember that Jude and Cardan are on their way to save Oak, if anything I believe Wren is somehow going to use Oak against elfhame. Maybe she’ll order him to hurt jude or cardan. THIS BOOK IS GOING TO END ME AGH I NEED IT NOWWW.

“Good night, Prince of Elfhame,” Wren says as he is led from the room. He manages a single glance back. Her gaze locks with his, and he can feel the frisson of something between them. Something that might well be terrible, but that he wants more of all the same.

I'm very curious to know how Oak is going to handle this mess. Like he's absolutely F*CKED. He's so down bad for Wren that he would do anything to stay by her side and protect her, YET he also wants to protect his family members who are on their way to save him and to kill wren. He cannot save BOTHHHH, meaning he will probably have to choose sides. Holly Black why are you torturing us!!!

the priorities are shifting

needless to say, i was at the edge of my seat/swooning/angry throughout the entirety of this week's episode. here we go

ALANJEFF. SCREAM. i'm pretty sure i have side-couple-syndrome judging by how fixated i am on them and every single second of screentime they get. jeff's wet boba eyes...... alan's stern but caring face....... unrelated but i checked the actors' profiles on MDL and a) jeff's my age. hello, fellow 95er. b) who would've fucking thought they only have an age difference of two years c) impeccable casting

wait. the way jeff was fully expecting alan to side with him because he's already grown to trust alan in this unfamiliar place... and his trust is NOT misplaced. as a fellow introverted person, alan's concerns are spot-on. how can you expect other people to understand you and know your motives when you're that closed-off? it was a painful read but mostly justified. and we know (thanks to that wonderful preview) that alan's gonna do his best to get jeff to open up away from the pressure of The Workplace and prying eyes. he's gonna put in the effort. i love them sooooo much

also that toyota product placement was the funniest thing i've ever seen like i wanted to feel sad for jeff so badly but. it was undercut by the effective showcasing of the google maps bluetooth function

I STILL FEEL SO CONFLICTED ABOUT CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!! like i'm 99% sure that he genuinely cares about babe and isn't just pampering him in order to get that racing gig or whatever but. @ the showrunners PLEASE give us more insight into his motives. i can't enjoy half the sweet things he says and does when i don't know whether they're genuine or not.

that being said.............................. babe is SO in love. and who wouldn't be. charlie's little face, his determination to care for him, the attention he gives him. that whole pre-race-nerves scene was the cutest thing in the world. and pavel's In Love look is so fucking heartwarming. HIS ACTING IN THE FLASHBACK TOO. the little "eep" when he first started the motor. i am in love with him. he's so so sweet. i love that his hardened exterior is beginning to melt away more and more, despite the potential for further hurt. pavel's gonna EAT in future emotional scenes.

once again i'm avoiding book spoilers like the plague so i don't fucking know what's going on with babe's powers but uh. if this turns out to be a permanent thing, i doubt it's just from the accident.

on the other hand, i love that babe (with charlie's help) seems to be adjusting quite well. after the initial frustration after the crash, he didn't have another outburst while charlie was caring for him. he, like, accepted his circumstances and put his energy into helping his baby achieve his dream and. that's cute as hell.

that whole "but what are you gonna give me if i win wink wink" moment..... the fucking tension. HIS PUSSY. you're gonna get his pussy, charlie

ik we're not even halfway through the season but. PLEASE. tell me what charlie and jeff's plan is because, aside from the ominous phonecall in ep 1, i really don't get the vibe that they're doing anything malicious. and if their plan is to take down tony, how would they accomplish that when the xhunter team is basically imploding. partially due to their meddling/ unclear communication. WHAT IS THEIR PLAN. if they wanna build a secret society of Tony's Rejected Adopted Sons, they're gonna have to put in some real work. because those bonds are rotting.

You know, I never actually read the text on the back cover. It's an old habit after having the blurb on the back of a book give me major spoilers once.

I'm pretty sure no one really knows what's going on with the fake back cover here, including Nightow. I hope everyone's enjoying their duck lips.

Slap-Stick Days? Are those really a thing this manga can have at this point? Or is this just another setup so we can end the chapter on "Slap-Stick Days/End"?

Chapter 1: Zero Hour

Wait, when did Legato get shot in the spine? I thought... ohhhh, Wolfwood. Nevermind, I was thinking this was, like, part of his everyday treatment when he's not in his little metal cocoon. Then again, I don't know how he'd have received any treatment like this over the seven months he was holding down Vash. Hells, I don't know how he went to the bathroom during the seven months he was holding down Vash.

Oooh, I was wondering if this element would come up. Zazie looks pretty pleased with their chosen path.

Knives, you crazy abomination, what are you doing now??

It's a good thing Livio knows how to drive given Vash's history behind the wheel.

Is that a Bentley?? How did they get a Bentley??? How in the hell would that be practical on a sand world??? (I assume it came from the same place as the Prada bag Meryl wants to get.)

Ugh. Vash does not want to answer Brad's questions. This is the face of a man who's tired of thinking about it. He's been thinking about it waaaaaay too much, and he was just kind of hoping for a minute's distraction from his brain thoughts. But he knows he has to explain, even if he doesn't want to.

Livio has so many cute little expressions in these pages. They give me life.

I get where Brad's distrust comes from, but Vash doesn't have the heart to deal with it right now. He's doing his best, but he's so tired. Emotionally, I mean.

I love how Vash takes Brad's objection and immediately counters with a real-life example.

Oh, I love the firmness bordering on anger here. Like Livio suggesting Vash is being too trusting with him specifically is an insult to Wolfwood's memory. Gods, babygirl is sooooo angry and hurt by all this right now.

LOL, Brad's anchor tattoo. I know this is kind of a joke panel, so now I'm wondering if he actually has one.

Livio apologizing. I think he really would bleed more as penance for Wolfwood, if he could. Like, he'd accept more grievous injury than Brad can do to him and wouldn't seek retaliation because if it's not fair, it's not fair in his favor and not in theirs. They have a right to seek retribution. To a point, though. He doesn't seem suicidal.

Oh, an ion cannon, eh? I'm sure this will go well for them and not get decimated by Knives from 100 meters or something.

Ohhhh noooooo. They're gonna Last Run a bunch of plants to power this thing.

That's sooooo many plants.

Yeah, as if Knives wasn't pissed enough.

Huh. I honestly didn't expect the Plants' will to come into play here.

I love how insect-y the plants look on this spread.

I mean, they've had over a century to rebel, and it seems like they've only done anything similar in isolated incidents. They seem to genuinely want to help humans. But this particular instance is rather unique. At the very least, they don't seem positively inclined toward Knives.

Ooh, space friends. I'm sure that will go smoothly.

Chapter 2: Slap-Stick Days

Oof, they're down to one major city. That's bad.

This old guy with the guitar. I do like how music is inextricable from the Trigun story.

Luida coming out to talk with the authorities elsewhere really is a Big Thing.

I finished Jedi Survivor, gotta blab about it!

SPOILER SPACE

BODE?!??!??!? I kept thinking he was gonna die, especially in the lead-up to the final Dagan fight—they gave him so many hallmarks of a tragic death that I never suspected a classic video game companion betrayal (one of my favorite things!!!)! So that twist threw me for a LOOP, not just the betrayal but then the reveal that HE WAS A JEDI TOO WHAAAATTTTTT!!??!?!?! Absolutely bananas.

It's funny because Dagan's death felt pretty anticlimactic, and I knew the game wasn't over yet so I was like… what else is there? And I still couldn't have anticipated how OH SHIT the "what else" part could be.

Because then it's PLAYABLE CERE!!!! Which was so fun because she felt SO powerful to play as, and the whole time I was reeling about the betrayal and why am I Cere now what the fuck what the fuck what the fuccckkkkk. And then as soon as the door opened on Vader I instantly got teary-eyed because I knew exactly how that was gonna end. Of COURSE you're out-of-left-field playing as Cere for her last stand. ;___; Of COURSE they couldn't include Vader just for the player to narrowly escape again. ;___; Cere wasn't even my favorite character and she felt so distant in this game, but having her death take place amidst the destruction of the archive that she'd been building that whole time, plus HER LAST WORD BEING "TRILLA," plus BEING MURDERED BY VADER EXACTLY LIKE TRILLA... way to make it as painful as it could possibly be!!!!!! I gotta say, not only do these games make Vader VERY scary, they also make me hate him more than ever. FUCK YOOOOUUU MURDER MACHINE

I am shocked they went all-in on Cal/Merrin just because… romance in Star Wars????? Since when??? Hahahahaaaa…….. I kid, I kid, we have fun. I love them. Although my main inclination in the first game was Cal/Trilla (it was immediately after TROS and the extreme Reylo of it got to me!!) and somewhere along the way I had gotten the impression that Merrin was a lesbian (or maybe that's just the default Nightsister vibe). But truly I consider everyone in SW to be bi/pan/ace/anything but fully straight, so honestly, whatever. Related side note: I was really pleasantly surprised by the directness about how many supporting characters here were gay!

I LOVED the first kiss followed by the totally bonkers portal-jumping battle, that was such cool teamwork. And the end of the game was sooooo saaaad but thankfully they both lived and so now I'm real emo about the orphan Jedi and the orphan witch and how far they've come since she tried to kill him. 😭

Backtracking a bit I REALLY enjoyed Dagan getting dumped out of the bacta tank, getting pissed off, and IMMEDIATELY bleeding his crystal. It was very ooooohhh SHIT dude making some major life decisions here!! So cool! So dramatic! Escalated so quickly! I'm pleased that I did end up enjoying Dagan a decent amount, because going into this I was annoyed by a) not liking Cody Fern's face and b) not liking the High Republic aesthetic.

Honestly I was very ready to dislike both Dagan and Bode because I was really not happy with the previews showing they added a bunch of dudes while hiding Merrin and Cere, and Trilla being dead…… blugh. But thankfully trailers are misleading and there was plenty of Merrin. (and her surprise entrance was THRILLLINNGGGG) And the dudes were alright and they wound up dead anyway. So! …Hm.

IT WAS SO SAD. I'M SO SAD. The "Ghost Star" lullaby was so pretty and haunting and it messed me up BAD, because of course I'm not just thinking of this game I'm thinking of all my dead Star Wars friends (and obvs one ghost in particular…….. sob). There are so many. Star Wars is littered with corpses. AND IT'S SO SAD.

Cal using the dark side was craazzzyyyyyy and when the first prompt for it came on screen I was like "uh oh!!!! I don't wanna." Wild how becoming more powerful in a video game can be so fun and so upsetting at the same time. I did actually die in the final fight with Bode because I refused to tap into the dark side when prompted, lol. I was like "maybe if I don't do it something different will happen!" Haha, nope! USE THE DARK SIDE OR DIE. Which is an interesting moral quandary for Star Wars, because if the dark side is always more powerful 100% of the time, and there are certain situations where it's either fight a dark side opponent or die… what does the Force really want you to do? Stick to the light side and be defeated? Is the ultimate end goal of the Force for everything to die and become one with it? AH JEEZ

Part of me expected Tanalorr to not work out in the end, because "magical top secret planet where we can hide and be safe forever" is obviously too good to be true. But I also think every pre-OT story is always having to find an out for why these characters weren't around for the OT, so in that sense of course Tanalorr had to work out! It's the perfect loophole for this time period! It just felt like every story beat was pointing to the dream of Tanalorr being too much of a corrupting influence—Dagan lost his arm, Santari, and then his life because he refused to let go, and then Bode did the same, and I thought it would come down to Cal also facing that dark path and being forced to give up the dream, like by having to choose between Merrin and Tanalorr. In Grail quests you always have to give up the Grail! But no, now they're really gonna live in the ethereal weird forbidden promised land. FEELS CREEPY BUT OKAY

On the one hand I do kind of wish there had been more planets to explore—it felt strange for the journey to be less expansive than Fallen Order. But there was still so much to do on Koboh and they had some cool locations in there nonetheless. I'm just greedy for ~*~galactic exploration~*~! Anyway they made up for it with the strong story, because I think the plot and character work in this one were even better than Fallen Order.

I'm not sure how to piece it all together but I liked the small late-game talk of Vader and the Inquisitorius acting outside of regular Imperial command, when you're undercover and you get the scoop that there's a rivalry with the ISB and that the Jedha attack that happened was not the Jedha attack that was planned. Empire/Sith infighting, Vader vs. Tarkin and Krennic, how does stifled ISB employee Dedra Meero fit into all this, hm hm hm much to think about. Bode was a former Jedi being used by the Empire but he wasn't an Inquisitor—it was the same thing in the end but the particular type of tragedy was different. Wizards in the Empire but the Empire hates wizards, which type of leash are they gonna put you on and who's actually holding the leash?

Fav saloon regulars: TURGLE, of course I knew everybody loved Turgle, what a goober, A+, amazing frog; Caij, because apparently it's a biological imperative that all Nautolans are cool as hell; best bartender Monk; and I particularly enjoyed all the conversations with Tulakt and Moran.

Of course I was thrilled when I first encountered Skoova, his little hover fishing schooner was the BEST. Just an absolutely stellar amount of funky alien dudes in this game.

The powerful heavy swings that the crossguard stance uses…… hehehehehehehehehe. Where did they get that idea I wonder!!!!!! The only thing is that I don't like how small and thin the High Republic-style quillons are, so the aesthetic isn't as satisfying and proportional as Kylo's saber. You gotta beef up those crossguards fellas!

I didn't know that there was an interim story to explain why Greez has a prosthetic arm now, so I was like "did I really forget THAT MUCH of Fallen Order?" Even I can't keep up with all these Star Wars! I liked Greez a lot in the first game (MY PLANT GUY!!!!) but I really loved him even more in this one—he seemed much softer than I remember with his devotion to Cal and their whole family unit. And his braided hair of course delighted me.

And speaking of delightful new hair: Merrin's haircut! I LOVE HER SO MUCH. They gave her so much great deadpan humor while also enhancing her emotional maturity, so not only is she still super cool she's also soft and nice when it's called for, and I'M SO GLAD SHE DIDN'T DIE.

Kata is extremely cute and I'm already dreading her looming apprenticeship and the long-term outcome of who makes it to the next generation. I'm always having to remind myself of the bigger picture that Cal is older than Luke. And I certainly can't handle the thought of old Cal or dead Cal, but when you add kids into the mix, that's where this is headed!!!!!!

I took so many goddamn screencaps I'm probably only gonna post a minuscule fraction of them, but there were so many good aesthetic things and fun details to look at. And honestly part of my excessive snapping away involved lofty notions of using things as fanart reference. I LOVED all the new hair and wardrobe options because I absolutely just used Cal for Ben Solo AU cosplay. 🤪😎🤩✌️💀 The windswept hair is so good!!!! I mean I mainly chose it to look like Ben but it also just looked really good on Cal, to the point where it's hard to see him with short hair anymore, although I really should try out some of the goofier looks. (so many facial hair options that I hate and look stupid on precious ginger babyface!!!)

I just get soooooo excited about being able to explore and take pictures inside a Star Wars thing, and play dress-up and pick hairstyles and decorate and do all that silly life sim stuff but in space! Games capture such a unique experience of discovering worldbuilding minutiae, and I love having the ability to just look at things and take in the environment at your own pace, it makes me so happy. Even the goofy LEGO game gave me that feeling. It's just so nice! I love wandering! Observing! Interacting! Running my little guys around! Having my own experience that can't be easily ruined by a shitty story!

It's made me reminisce about playable Kylo and Rey in Battlefront and how I wish you could combine them with the exploration/story/gameplay style of the Jedi games and the [nearest approximation of] post-canon Ben Solo of the LEGO game, and THAT would probably be my ideal Star War (outside of, you know, a new movie that checks off every single item on my impossible wish list hahahaaagdhagdsf). Dress them up and customize their lightsabers and their home base and their spaceship and give them a droid friend and a garden and take them on new adventures on new planets… The Dream 😭

I actually started ruminating on whether I can do screencap mashups of Battlefront character models in Survivor outfits/environments, because I can't do mods, I am just a simple photoshopper and console gamer, but I want to pretend!!!!!! The problem is I don’t really like the Battlefront faces because they all look dead in the eyes. :/ The idea I settled on is that I might do some straight-up redraws instead. (WE'LL SEE. But the fact that I'm even mentioning this should tell you how completely lost in the sauce I am.) I briefly went looking and of course people have made Ben Solo mods for Survivor, but what you really gotta do is graft Cal's customization options onto Bode's body type or else it doesn't look right. Y'KNOW?!?? Size… matters……… I'm so sorry Yoda

Anyway!!!!!! Excellent gaming experience despite being terrible at Jedi parkour! Now back to tending my garden, hunting down post-game Force echoes, and rearranging Cal's wardrobe

This is the first time I'm gonna get in on reviewing the new Helluva boss episode because this was the one I was most excited for! But before I do that, I'm saying it now:

I saw a lot of negative reviews were focused around the Ozzie texts between Stolas and Blitzo and well...I'm sorry guys but my main focus is on THIS MAN RIGHT HERE

So without further a dooooooooo...

I honestly enjoyed Striker in this episode! I love seeing a wackier side of him and not just edgy edge lord, low voice, "I'm gonna eat your kids" through the whole episode. I understand why some people were super disappointed in him not being as threatening as he was in the first episode, but hey. This is a cartoon about dumb demons and sex, I try not to take it too seriously already! (⁠๑⁠•⁠﹏⁠•⁠)

(I also wanna say this now, I was also one of the people taken back by the change in voice actors, but I ain't even gonna let that bother me too much: I know folks like Norman are gonna be mighty expensive or too busy to keep around. As sad as it is, if I can get used to Stolas new voice, I can do the same for this one as long as it means more Strike!)

Speaking of Striker, the main criticism I keep seeing is that he was too egotistical, and because of that statue everyone is just saying he was another Chaz. But I honestly don't get this one?

Striker was ALWAYS just as entitled and self centered in the first episode: Did we forget this man literally made a song all about how awesome he is (That didn't even rhyme) And his speech to Blitz where he talked about how he was above the imps? The statue seems pretty in character for him! Striker has always sucked his own dick, maybe it was a little overzealous but definitely not enough for me to say he was just a full blown Chaz!

Plus, that man still took his job pretty damn serious! Never once was Striker incompetent or a dumbass in this episode. He knew his mission and he was damn malicious about, I mean if you gonna try to tell me this man wasn't just as bloodthirsty as he was last time-

This man has never once hesitated to hurt anyone who gets in his way or just for the fun of it and I think it still shows greatly here!

All and all, I have to disagree with everyone saying his character was "ruined" or "too Chaz like" Striker definitely did not spend the episode going on and on about how his dick is the biggest or how everyone wants to fuck him like Chaz would. (R.i.p Chaz, I love you sweetie!) As left field as the statue was, it definitely didn't steal from the fact that this man was once again determined to finish his job. Which got taken away from him by Stella at the last minute, which he was super bummed about, but he does get paid extra soooo! 🎉🎉🎉

(Full disclaimer: I didn't really care for the Stella part of the episode, I do like the voice actor for snowy owl though. But overall they really were just there...it's really hard to say anything about it other than the fact that she didn't want Stolas killed sooooo (⁠＠⁠_⁠＠⁠;⁠))

Now for the big stuff: The pacing.

I have to say...I do have to agree with everyone when they say the pacing was all over the place. I have to admit: With all the trailers that we were getting, I was expecting this bad boy to be long as hell! At least a good 25 to 30 minutes because we were getting all kinds of things! But man...

Even though the little vet visit was funny, and I am a huge fan of that cute lil goat doctor, it did take away from the actual tension. I came here for badass Striker! And not to mention M&M barely got time to shine as well! The pacing really was just:

BOOM! STRIKER KIDNAPPED STOLAS--

Loona scared of vet 🥺

BAM! MOXXIE AND MILLIE ARE GONNA TAKE ON STRIKER BY THEMSELVES, OOOOOO POWER COUPLE--

Blitz and Karen yell at each other 🤬

RAAAAAH, STRIKER STABBY STOLAS, MILLIE AND MOXXIE CRASH THROUGH ROOF THOUGH, IT'S TIME FOR THE MOST EPIC FIGHT--

Loona got her shot 😊

I feel like we totally got robbed on a much more epic fight and some shades thrown from M&M and Striker, especially when it was a highlight of the trailer! These two being able to properly settle a score with Striker would have really made for such an amazing tension scene since they were the main ones who were affected by him in the first episode. LIKE GUYS, LET MOX AND MILL SHINE WHEN BLITZO ISN'T AROUND, I BEG YOU! THEY'RE AMAZING TOO!! 😭

I will stand by everyone when they say: WE NEED MORE MILLIE DAMNIT!

The ending with Stolas definitely tugged at my heart strings, I won't lie! But again, I'm not here for the Stolitz angst, I was just here to see Strikey boy. WHO DIDN'T DIE, SO YES! TAKE THAT TWITTER!!! MY BOY GETS TO HUNT ANOTHER DAY, AND NOT ONCE DID HE GET HIT BY A TRAIN, IN FACT HE APPARENTLY LOVES THEM SO HA!!

All and all, I will say Harvest moon was peek Striker. It's gonna be hard to ever top that, Norman Striker will forever be missed! But at the end of the day, I did enjoy seeing my favorite cowboy again, and there's apparently some more lore behind him as well that we'll hopefully get to see in the later seasons. I'm just glad I can easily sleep tonight knowing that he wasn't just killed off in the second episode we get him in! 🙏

So it was a good time all around! Especially watching it with my favorite person 💕

Okay...I know your on break, and you deserve it 100%! You wrote like a million words last year, no exaggeration! but omg, when are you coming back with updates to your fics???

I swear I'm like going through withdrawals! Secrets is my worst addiction!! I never liked Sasuke but you changed my mind on that and i never thought anyone could! I realize now he really was messed up back then, and after everything he went through at that age, and with Orochimaru's curse mark adding to his darkness, of course he went off the deep end!! I'm ashamed I wasn't more compassionate towards him. He lost his whole family, at the hands of his brother, saw his parents bodies and was shown the murder over and over again by his brother, wtf would anyone expect him to do??? He was like 5 or 6 or something right?? Just a baby! He needs to atone, yes but, hating him? Can't do it anymore, makes no sense.

A Cure For Love has become an obsession!!!! I DONT LIKE M/M FANFICTION ESPECUALLY NARUSASU BUT I CANT PUT THIS STORY DOWN!!!! Omg, how the hell did you get me into this???! It should be illegal to be this creative and good at writing! Who said you could write like this???! I actually like SasuNaru now 😭 and Hinata as a badass witch! She bodied a werewolf, vampire and fury all at the same time, omfg she's so awesome!! I cannot wait for the trio between the three of them!! How will those three come together? Sasuke and Hinata are connected through Sasuke's bite now, but what about Naruto? How will he find himself wrapped up in the witch he despises! I need to know!!!! Thats another thing you got me into! Throuples!!! I can totally see NaruHinaSasu as a loving trio, and I love that you don't want make them like obsessed over Hinata only, or have one person left out of the relationship, you adore NaruHina but you also care about SasuHina and NaruSasu. The love will be spread equal and I sooooo love that! I see it already in your Sims 4 posts!! They all love each other, no one is left out, and everyone loves the children no matter who the father is!

I LOVE Butterfly like you have no idea 😭I know people are not liking Naruto's actions right now, neither do I, but i like that you've wrote him being able to do something like that to precious Hina, your not going soft route and making him too nice or too accomadating, it really feels like he doesn't know her at all, which he doesnt! it's easy to hurt and use people you don't know and he's a prime example of that. He's not out to be malicious, but he's careless with her feelings because he doesn't KNOW her at all. People seem to shy away from making a character that flawed but you lean into and I love it! Naruto is setting himselg up for a WORLD of hurt, I can see it already! Knowing you dont' do sad endings, I can safely enjoy this angst and heartache!!

Monster is my heart!!!!! The Boruto series should have gone this route because the plot for the Otsutsuki is out of this world!! It adds so much tension and suspense, and the lovey dovey moments with NaruHina are like a drug I can't stop doing! I'm scared now though! Ino got those worm root things poured into her mouth by Shino and things are getting really weird and I know you warned us that angst is coming (again I'm gonna enjoy it since you don't do sad endings) but now I'm petrified because Hinata has been acting weird all the way up to this point, and I think whatever was done to her by Toneri is about to come fruition! I'm scared for her and for Naruto! That book is an amazing balance of horror, smut, love and angst!!

I'm DYING for more Prey 😭 I love me a dark fic and Naruto is stone cold crazy af and I love ittttttt! I want to see the meeting between him and the woman he's been stalking, his future baby mama, Hinata! How will she deal with his brand of crazy??? Who is Danzo and why is Naruto working with him??? How did Naruto become a killer like that????! I mean I know he was crazy as a teen and he's killed before but now its like his job??! How, what happened?? I needs to know!! And poor Sasuke 😭😭😭😭😭Naruto is a HANDFUL for him to have to deal with all the time!!

All of this was just to say I am dying without your updates 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 take your time on your deserved break but also come back soon!!!!

My break is just about over, sorry about the long wait! My stories have been calling me, especially my throuples thanks to my Sims 4 game 🤭I'm even more convinced now that a NaruHinaSasu dynamic is a special, beautiful dynamic and I cannot wait to finish my other throuple fics as well as add more. I'm very happy you enjoy all my stories to such an extent 😭I work pretty hard on them and am glad that I can create stories that can push a person from their comfort zone and still have them content in a new, unexplored territory! A Cure For Love was my first attempt at M/M action and people seem to enjoy it, shockingly, quite a few people that don't like M/M either but love the story regardless are REALLY into this story��‍💫 and that still blows my mind! It's nice to see more people coming on board the MMF ship! 🤭It's really diverse in here. There's SasuNaru fans willing to give those two with Hinata a try, there's SasuHina fans willing to make room for Naruto, there's NaruHina fans willing to open their hearts to Sasuke, I love the vibe of that story so much. The community is so nice and amazing!

I'm glad I could change your perspective on Sasuke, he really gets way too much hate and not enough understanding/compassion in my opinion. I've gone through deaths of loved ones before, and that shit eats you up inside, it's like a lifetime disease that chips away at you non-stop, I could not imagine going through it to his extent, I'd lose my damn mind too. Idc what no one says, I love Sasuke and my heart goes out to him 100% and I don't say that lightly. I adore Naruto, and Sasuke shouldn't have put him through what he did, but I also am of the mind of Naruto. Sasuke needed help. He was self destructive and losing himself, and I'm glad Naruto could see that and help him. I wish I had a Naruto, I swear.

I love flawed characters like Naruto in Butterfly. You're right that there's gonna be some heavy angst, but as I said, I don't do sad ends, but I do want to hurt your heart 😇enjoy the pain, you've got three books of it coming up.

Don't even get me started on everything wrong with Boruto 🤦🏾‍♀️such lazy writing imo. It's like they skimmed through Naruto and Shippuden rather than watched it fully. That series is not canon to me, never will be. Monster is my horror baby, and you're right, it's about to get wayyyyy worse. Prepare yourself is all i can say.

Crazy ass Naruto shall be back soon, lol, and all your questions shall be answered over time!

I'll be adding my Enemies to Lovers fic and a chapter of Monster upon my return as those are the two that won the poll, after that, the rest will be updated, judging from what I've written in terms of next chapter for each, I think it'll be A Cure For Love, Secrets, Prey then Butterfly. Don't quote me on that though! I follow the path and dictates of inspiration!

UHM????? oh. my. fucking. god. this was fucking AMAZING????????? 😩😩😩 i literally had to take a sec after reading it before writing this bc the fic was so good it got me speechless. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT SOUP OMGGGGG 😭 i had kind of daydreamed about how i thought you were gonna go about this request lol and i was already soooo excited about it BUT GOSH somehow THIS WAS EVEN BETTER than what i imagined???????

it had everything i wanted AHHHHand i loved every single part of it 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 wen being wen (aka adorably looking at trinkets) at the beginning, the nausea in the car + how embarrassed she was at first thinking it was bad gas station food + how chill and comforting vin was being in the car <3333 and then getting home and ma noticing immediately and helping her to the couch and making her tea 🥹 and liv and soph there and then vin noticing the fever and my girl BEING SO OUT OF IT RAHHHHH‼️‼️‼️ emphasis on THIS!!!! wen being so uncontrollably nauseous and dizzy and sick was def one of my fav things especially bc of how put together and in control she usually is (and how she was trying SO HARD to fight it and stay in control like miss girllllllll stop being so real) 😩🫶🏽 and then puking on vin’s lap and then him carrying her and gently telling her not to fight him😭 and then teasing her a lil bit in the bathroom AND THE WHOLE SHOWER SCENE OH MY FREAKING GOOOOOOOODDDDDD dude are you trying to KILL me‼️‼️‼️ 😩😩 FROM THE NAUSEA TO GETTING SICK TO FEELING FAINT TO THE CONSTANT SHIVERING TO HOPING VIN WOULD COME IN TO HIM BEING SCARED AS SHIT TO MA BEING SO WORRIED SHE WAS ALMOST MAD TO VIN GETTING IN THE SHOWER W HER TO WEN FEELING BAD ABOUT IT ALL GODDAMNNNNNN THIS WAS SO TOP TIER SOUP

Spoiler-Free Thoughts on NPMD

first act had me worried I wasn't enjoying the show all that much but then it got better closer to the end, and then the second act was amazing! (except for one part which dragged) so kind of the opposite of Black Friday haha

they lied to us, this wasn't hornier than MAMD, maybe more like Twisted level

I wish some people had more to do, but that's what happens when they expand the cast (was supposed to be 8 actors, ended up being 10) and I'd rather have those people there than not, sooooo...but what was weird was some people I expected to do more didn't end up being that prominent (actors, not characters, this isn't an Ethan Green in Black Friday situation dw)

the music in this one sadly wasn't as strong as in the other Hatchetfield stuff (still a few good songs but Hatchetfield has been so good for music this being on the more forgettable end made me a little sad)

a few of the numbers did have really good choreo and I hope the proshot reflects that because StarKid has had a thing of doing more and more closeup shots over the years and I found that to be a detriment to the choreo in Black Friday

this definitely had the best set for a hatchetfield musical (though I missed the levels of Black Friday's) but maybe that had a lot to do with the AMAZING lighting that was probably the best of any StarKid show

very glad they seemed to make the comedy a priority here because they didn't do enough of that with Black Friday given that show's premise IMO and TGWDLM only had a few laugh-out-loud moments, this one had way more. still not the funniest StarKid show ever but one of the more humorous Hatchetfield stories for sure.

Hatchetfield really is becoming like the MCU where having seen other stuff in order to understand what is going on isn't technically NECESSARY but it's gonna be a very different experience based on whether you have or not

a lot of moments in the show were kind of predictable, and as someone else said I guess that's how slashers are but I don't think I was supposed to see certain things coming (there were still some surprises tho)

I'm more positive on the show overall than my comments here imply but a lot of what I enjoyed is very spoilery

Okay I have a question was yandere mafia rose always going to kidnap reader? The scene where rose tells her she will let the reader go is immaculate by the way cause the if I can't have you no one can yanderes are fun don't get me wrong but the yanderes that truly put the happiness of their darling first have a special place in my heart through the whole reader ignoring rose coming home with injuries hurt my heart so I wanted to write this. Since I already sent in the idol au one you can ignore this if you want. 🍪 anon.)

Rose lets out a hiss and pouts at me as I clean her knife wound as she lays on the couch in the living room. I roll my eyes at her.

"I did tell you to be careful and what do you go and do... you let some loser stab you." I clean up the blood and disinfect the wound before starting to sew up the wound. "Besides you can't tell me this hurts worse than being shot." I lean down after I finish stitching up the wound and cleaning it and press a soft kiss to it. "There my big bad mafia member all done."

"At this point should I consider myself your doctor." I send her a smirk as I settle on my knees infront of the couch and start to clean up my supplies.

ok no i'm so so sooooo happy you noticed that!!! i was wondering if anyone picked up on it, because yes rosie did already know about her S/O in 'When They Meet You' !! I write the meeting scenarios not based on when the yandere meets their S/O but when the S/O meets the yandere. Rosie knew reader ever since she had started working at the bar. Same with Jennie!! She also knew her S/O for about a month and half before the reaction. Lisa and Jisoo had met their S/O during their reaction tho.

and thank you so much!!!!! I definitely think my yanderes are the "if i can't have them nobody can" in that they will kill any 'competition' HOWEVER!!! one thing i wanted to make sure of my yanderes is that they don't do these things to cause pain to the reader. They want to drive the reader to them, definitely, but they don't want the reader to be hurt. The yanderes love their reader. They love her and won't hurt her. So yea, they'd let her go if they noticed she was miserable. (they'd simply manipulate the rest of the world so that it drives her back into their arms. y'all thought that was Rosie giving up? lmao that was her about to start a new tactic)

and yea reader was really mean (justifiably so) but she did feel really bad the whole time cuz remember she had started wanting Rosie too and at that point was more just her ignoring her so she could try and ignore her feelings.

also send as many as you want for as many aus as you want i enjoy these so much!! also i enjoy talking to you when you send these in too :)

Pain shocks its way through Rosie again, and her side begins to feel like it's burning. A hiss leaves her lips, more so from the shock than the pain, as she truly could not feel the pain at all. Not when you, her goddess, were right there, healing her with the utmost care and tenderness. She could almost ignore how every nerve in her torso was on fire or how the white rug you had ordered was now very much red. She'd have to burn it at this point because there was no way the cleaning lady could get the stain out. Oh, you're gonna be so sad, Rosie thinks somberly, a pout falling onto her face.

"I did tell you to be careful. And what did you go and do? Let some loser stab you." You sound angry, and Rosie feels her heart stop in fear that she made you upset. "Besides, you can't tell me this hurts worse than getting shot."

What doesn't hurt worse? Rosie looks down and, oh, you were stitching it up now. That makes sense. She looks up again and see's you shoot her a playful glare, but there was a smile on your lips, her heart unclenches and she relaxes, you aren't mad at her. But her body tenses up again as the pain courses back through her, her hands starting to shake and her head spinning as her face grimaces.

With you, she allows her body to show the signs of her pain. With you, she doesn't hide the loud groan. With you, she doesn't feel shy in blinking away the black spots of pain in her eyes. Because you won't look at this as an opportunity. You won't laugh and think less of her. You won't take advantage of her now. With you, you lean down and place a sweet kiss on the skin above her bandage. With you, you hold her hand tight to make sure she won't fall.

"There, my big, bad, mafia member. All done," With you, there's a smirk on your lips as you tease your lover in good fun. "At this point, I should consider myself your doctor."

"If you were my doctor, I would not stop trying to get hurt Sweets." Rose rolls her eyes affectionately. "How about, instead of being my doctor and stitching my bullet holes, you help me up and we go cuddle?"

With you, Rosie is safe.

(Sooooo...I was looking for the screenshot of the live but....I forgot to take one appearantly?? I swear I took one but it's gone. Anyways...there's no pic and the live is gone now and I'm so sad. But uhhhh this is a live he did with hongjoong so picture hongjoong and wooyoung sitting on the floor together. Hongjoong annoyed and wooyoung smiling wide. You're welcome for the visual)

He came in with his little mischievous look, saying he tricked hongjoong into doing a live with him. Then hongjoong came in saying that wooyoung said "Let's do a live" then closed the door and disappeared. Wooyoung justified himself saying that it's cuz there's people talking outside and it could be heard. Hongjoong took a seat next to wooyoung.

Wooyoung said he hadn't eaten yet and hongjoong said he was hungry. They said they had finished a fan sign and then came to a live before going to Osaka.

Wooyoung said that they weren't wearing any make up and were 100% bare faced for the live (there so pretty 🥺)

They spoke about toktoq for a bit. Wooyoung said that it was fun to just be able to pick up the phone and go live when he wanted to and hongjoong said that the app had it own charm. They spoke about the live situation thos, saying that the lives disappear after a couple days and couldn't be saved. Hongjoong said that it broke his heart alittle. (they heard my cries about this. See even they don't like that. Kq do better 🙄🤨)

Anyways, wooyoung said that they should fix that and hongjoong was like "fix what, the app or my broken heart..." (I cried inside)

Hongjoong said he wasn't able to sleep last night and wooyoung said he didn't either. He had been watching Netflix and didn't realize that he watched 3-4 hors of D.P (a kdrama) and hongjoong said that he had watched the kdrama Celebrity.

Hongjoong said that yesterday, he was sitting in bed trying to work on music. He had all his equipment with him but it took him 6 hours to write 2 lines. He said that there were days where it was hard and he felt sad that that was all his brain was capable of and that he felt like a fool (hongjoong baby, ur not a fool 🥺 take ur time love, writing songs is hard) wooyoung asked him why but hongjoong just said that he would just try again. (I wanna give this man a hug and boop on the nose)

Wooyoung laughed about the camera angle and joked how it made them look small so they moved it to the floor instead. (It was like on a platform or something so they had to look up at the screen) they said they couldn't really see the comments either. So they moved the camera closer.

They started discussing their dinner plans and wooyoung said he and yunho made plans to go eat ramen later. Hongjoong said that he was informed of these plans and then said that it would be really late to go eat somewhere. (It would be like 10pm by the time they got to eat.)

They started discussing shoe size and hongjoong said that wooyoung has really big feet (he said 2700 mm 💀💀💀) wooyoung laughed and said that atiny always tease him for it all the time and not to bring it up. Then wooyoung spoke of a selfie trend where u place the phone on the floor and take the picture as if ur gonna stomp on the phone. Hongjoong said he had never heard of that and that he thought people would like that type of pic and wouldn't enjoy it.

Wooyoung said it was a real trend and that many idols have posted pics like. As soon as wooyoung said that hongjoong switched up and was like "oh so it's a good trend!" And laughed.

Wooyoung started tapping the floor loudly and hongjoong said that he was really annoying (in a joking way) wooyoung got offended and hongjoong said he was going to make a movie of wooyoung being annoying. (I would pay big bucks for that movie.)

They started joking about how people should watch what they say and be careful and how they learned their lesson. They said they would tell us in 2 months 🧍🏻 (apparently mama Kim kinda knows what's up tho 👀)

They started wrapping up the live a little saying that they had to go soon wooyoung stood up and did a little stomp cuz he said he looked like giant. They both stood with the phone on the floor and wooyoung said they should to the pose. So they did 🤩 (felt like they were gonna step on me and I enjoyed it) hongjoong felt bad after tho....(he's just so precious, protecting him at all costs) wooyoung picked up the phone and then said byeeebyeeeee before ending the live

(Kq listen to wooyoung and hongjoong! I need to see this live again please 😭😭😭 imagine if they knew we couldn't capture their capture times?? I'm devastated.)
