SAGAU but with a lazy and always sleepy imposter!creator!reader
Tumblr media
reader who is always sleepy and doesn't want to move a muscle. it's like even moving a part of their body is similar to working out in the gym for an hour.
not narcolepsy, reader just doesn't really care and is very lazy to even give two flying fucks to the world
reader doesn't give a shit even if a war breaks out, sleep is life, sleep is important
Tumblr media
your genshin characters are always aware that you somehow manage to fall asleep in the middle of the game. well of course, they find it cute
you would play for an hour, then they would hear you yawn, and your soft quiet snores comes next
they love the sounds you create when you sleep, and it also warms their heart to think that you're having a good sleep
it went to the point where aside from building you a statue, they also crafted the most comfortable bed they could ever make. it is created solely for you
so when your imposter descended to your world, they were very happy. they couldn't wait to show you what they have crafted, they also couldn't wait to see how you sleep
it goes without saying that they were slightly disappointed that your imposter didn't really... use the bed they made
like do they even sleep? but their creator loves sleeping right? so why aren't you sleeping?
so when you were first dropped into your own world right infront of your imposter who was seated on a throne, you weren't really shocked. you just hugged your pillow tighter that just mysteriously came with you into this world
even though the archons that you are very familiar with surrounded you, you didn't really give any care
you yawned and made eye contact with each one of the archons, you blinked your sleepy eyes at them to which they reciprocated with a hostile glare
well whatever. though, the ground you are sitting on is very cold! perfect temperature! you suddenly felt sleepy and before Ei can grab you, you laid down on the ground and sleep
after all, sleep is more important, you will just deal with the problems later!
Ei was shocked, very shocked! did you just ignore their presence and continue your sleep!?
oh, but wait, sleep?
oh my archons!
she almost killed their divine creator!
somehow, they already have a feeling that the one sleeping peacefully on the ground is their true divine creator
so who tf is sitting on the throne?
"seize them!" ei commanded to her troops. they all marched inside the palace very loudly, which earned the soldiers a glare from every living archon inside the room
"our divine creator is sleeping, do it quietly!"
"...?" all the soldiers were confused. but their divine creator is clearly awake and is sitting on their throne?
then their gazes all moved to the sleeping person on the ground as if waking them up is considered blasphemy, as if waking them up is the highest sin they can commit and worthy of being beheaded
and so they all quietly yeeted the imposter and quietly watched the archons move their true divine creator to the bed they painstakingly crafted
as soon as your body touched the soft and comfortable material, you let out a satisfied sigh and the whole teyvat rejoiced. they have finally found their true divine creator!
they all listened to your quiet snores and when you woke up hours later, every citizens of teyvat including the abyss celebrated the descension of their true creator.
well, you were too lazy to attend your own banquet so they removed the throne and replaced it with your bed just so you could attend.
a happy creator leads to a happy life!

IT'S YOU THAT I LIE WITH
pairing: xiao/reader yes, it's you i welcome death with. in which where, all of teyvat will crumple in only a few minutes - the countdown starts. everyone gathering to accept their fate.
Tumblr media
"Say goodbye to all of your friends and family - for Teyvat will be destroyed." Zhongli's loud voice boomed across the panicking crowd, the countdown decreasing any moment. "There is nothing I can do. I apologize." His eyes held empathy for the pleading people kneeling before him. It was no use for a disguise anymore; as he was now in his old archon's outfit. "I am merely a messenger."
The people from across the world gathers to accept their fate. Others refuse to believe it was the end and fled. All the people could do was pray and hope that some miracle will happen, yet we all know it's going to end.
On top of a mountain, they sit and pray for Celestia's forgiveness. Families come to reunite and friends come to reconcile.
When you had no one.
You watched as the people cry and hug; whilst the sky turns even contrast by the second. It was an orange-red hue, yet it was still morning.
You had absolutely no one here. You couldn't find anyone you knew.
You stood, begging for it to end quickly. When will the meteorite strike? Will it swallow everyone? Was there any chance of surviving?
Was feeling pathetic the only emotion you will experience?
One person comes into your mind.
...An old friend.
Where are you?
The last time you saw him was maybe, eons ago. That time you weren't a coward for everything, before the archon war. Before you lost everything.
Before you shielded yourself from the world.
It's okay to be a bit selfish, right? Everyone's gonna die anyway.
You descended the mountain, running to your feet. It was a confused loop. That didn't stop you, though. You didn't want to be alone, not this time. The feeling to be safe under one's company, that would be amazing. Just for once. Please.
Just let it be this time.
Almost tripping over the rocks, you continued your journey.
What was his name?
...What was it?
Loss of gradual memory was what you endured after the war. The memory of old colleagues, names - Even your own. You'd forgotten almost everything over time.
What you did remember, was the chuckle of somebody. It was faint, yet you could tell your past memories enjoyed hearing that. It was not a laugh. It was merely a chuckle, something of amusement.
You set your foot on the wooden bridge of Wangshuu Inn.
His name is just on the tip of your tongue. You know him. You know him. Who is he?!
"Finally. Just the two of us!"
"You don't like the other adepti?"
"No, dummy. I just think spending time alone with you is the best."
"...Why's that?"
"You're my best company. It's like, I can tell you everything, ████."
Who...?
"Do you think of me.. that way?"
"Yes! Please, don't ever drift away from me. Even if bad things happen. Please?"
"...Okay. Promise.
I won't leave." That chuckle.
"Heh. Thanks.. I'm tearing up, sorry. I don't know why I get so emotional, ████..."
The sky turns deep red. You were losing time.
"Hello!? Is anybody there?! I need someone... I need someone to spend this with..." You crouched, burying your head in your hands. What was his name?
"I can't be alone again." You sniff. "I haven't... I haven't remembered everything yet. I... don't want to die yet."
"Xiao, thank you. Thank you."
"Calm down... I'm right here, you know."
...Is that... his name...?
"Xiao?"
You stood up, and you almost tumbled back again once your body was covered in a hug - Dark anemo energy revealed a familiar boy.
His green hair, his slim figure...!
"Is that your name? Xiao?"
You can feel him nodding.
"I was hoping I would find you." His voice cracks. "I didn't want to see you so helpless, so I stupidly left you on your own. I left you. I thought, it was useless to try to get your memories back, after what I've done you would never-"
You hugged back.
You finally felt the feeling of warmness, under someone's arms.
"Remember that the world is ending soon, so no more crying.." You broke the hug to see his face. "Will you die with me? As weird as it sounds?"
That chuckle. No wonder you loved it so much, you were the only person that could ever hear him be so carefree.
"...Okay. Let's," He smiled. "Let's spend the last of our lives together.
To make up for lost times."
"I only forgot your name, okay? I still remember that time you almost kissed me-"
"T-That was thousands of years ago.."
old work i found in my drafts. did this when i was listening to matt maltese on loop!!!

The Magician (I)
Upright: Manifestation, resourcefulness, power, inspired action
Inverted: Manipulation, poor planning, untapped talents
Word count: 1.2K
Characters: Male reader, god!reader, Sayu, Raiden Shogun/Ei
Notes: Ahaha, what do you mean it’s been almost a month since the last installment? Don’t worry about that!
The Fool’s Journey
————————————————————————
Hours have passed since you fled the welcome ceremony for “His Grace” or whoever he’s supposed to be. You find yourself back in the woods you’d woken up in as you pace back and forth in the hood you managed to salvage from the garbage, fearfully trying to determine what move you could make that wouldn’t get you captured/killed for heresy as the leaves on the trees around you seem to be shaking in time with your racing heart.
“I just don’t get it!” You frantically say to yourself, “How can this ‘Divine Creator’ guy look exactly like me? Or do I look like him? Would the others even believe me if I told them I was born like this?” You find yourself so stuck in your own head that you fail to register the footsteps approaching from behind.
“Oh I can assure you…they won’t.” An all too familiar voice pulls you from your thoughts with a jolt as you quickly turn to look at the new arrival and see the very same face you would see in a mirror, “The people of Teyvat are VERY devoted to their version of you, after all.” The other man says with a confident smirk.
“Y-you! Who are you?!” You ask, your voice filled with pure confusion, “Why do you look like me?! What do you mean by ‘Their version of me’?!”
Your twin responds with a twisted laugh before speaking, “Why it’s very simple: I am you!” He says as if that explains literally anything, “Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say I’m a perfect copy of your original self.”
“What do you mean??” You ask as your confusion only grows and the wind around you blows pensively.
Your twin rubs his chin thoughtfully before speaking, “I suppose it would be easier to start with a minor history lesson: Centuries ago, a war broke out that divided all of Teyvat, humans and archons alike were at each other’s throats over territory and the like. The Divine Creator was heartbroken at the sight of His beloved creations needlessly killing each other so He pulled a desperate measure and descended from Celestia personally in the hopes of putting an end to the destruction. However, His plan backfired. He’d thrown Himself in front of several archons as they fought with the intent to kill, hoping that they would realize and cease their violence, but His timing was horrible and His body was instead run through by some of His most loyal acolytes on accident.”
He pauses for a moment to allow your brain to take in this new information before continuing, “The common belief held by even the archons themselves is that the Divine Creator re-ascended to Celestia afterwards to slowly heal His wounds. However, that’s not the truth. What actually happened is that His body was reclaimed by Teyvat itself while His soul left this world entirely, seeking one where it could take refuge and recover while still being able to gaze upon its creations. And so, the Divine Creator was reincarnated into another world as a normal human, while the people of Teyvat naively believed that their god was still among them.”
“Ok, I think I get what you’re saying, but what does that have to do with you?” You ask.
“Well, after thousands of years of being separated, the influence of His Grace suddenly began to be felt by Teyvat and specific members of its population. This news spread like wildfire until everyone and their mother was convinced that the advent of the Divine Creator was nigh, meanwhile Teyvat itself was beginning to grow restless, which would doubtless affect the people in turn. It was clear to Celestia that you must be brought back to this world to put your creations at ease, but the process of bringing an entire person in from another world would be a long and arduous one, even for them. So they came up with a temporary solution: Me. They created a puppet in your likeness that could placate the people long enough for them to bring back the real deal.” Your twin concludes nonchalantly.
“I-I see. So now that I’m here, does that mean that I’ll be taking your place, then? Have I been worrying this whole time for nothing?” Your tone is hopeful, but your twin’s face, once again, shows a twisted grin, causing the wind around you to blow apprehensively as he takes a step towards you.
“Normally, this is where I’d say yes before whisking you away to your beloved creations and explaining the situation, but Celestia made a slight miscalculation while creating me: They gave me free will. They gave me intelligence. They gave me the mental capacity to feel the RUSH of being honored and pampered as a God. And just what do you think would happen to me if the truth were to come out? I’d be tossed aside. Destined to be forgotten like yesterday’s garbage. I’d like to postpone that outcome for as long as possible, so you wouldn’t mind if I kept pretending to be you, would you?” His face is innocent, but his voice is dripping with malice.
“W-wait!” You say while slowly backing away, “If you don’t want me to take back over as the Divine Creator, why did you tell me all of that? Couldn’t you have just left me in the dark?”
Your evil twin sighs in frustration, “I suppose the people in your world would say that’s how I was programmed. I’d hoped to take you out while your back was turned, but my programming dictates that once I’m in the presence of the true Divine Creator, then I’m compelled to divulge the truth of the situation. However, seeing as how there’s no one around to have heard all that, it looks like that function was entirely useless!” He concludes with a menacing laugh before brandishing a knife, “That being said, I’m still not about to risk someone finding out the truth. So I think it’s about time you were reunited with Teyvat permanently!” He attempts to slash at you, but is thrown off balance by a powerful earthquake under his feet.
With your attacker struggling to stay on his feet, you use this opportunity to turn and run, despite not knowing where it is that you would be going. However, that uncertainty soon disappears as you hear a new voice call out “This way! Follow me!” The source of which being the small girl in the tanuki hood you’d met earlier.
“Sayu?! Why are you here??” You cry out in surprise.
“There’s no time for that, Your Grace! We have to get you out of here before that imposter catches up! Just know that we heard everything and we’re on your side!” She replies with an urgency that you didn’t think she was capable of.
“O-ok!” You respond as the two of you run off at full sprint through the forest. You feel the ground shake again and spare a glance behind you to see a large fissure open in the earth that attempts to swallow your evil twin whole before, to your surprise, you see the Raiden Shogun herself frantically grab his arm as you continue to run farther and farther away. The last thing you see before turning your head back around is the Raiden Shogun looking directly at you as she slowly lifts your evil twin out of the pit and the pure hatred towards you burning in her eyes.
