Anyway~ I wrote this only around two hours and I am not that good when writing stories in general, but I tried my best to make this one sound good and fancy (by that I mean I just slapped any fancy words I know and hopped to god it would work) is a bit rushed tho so it is a bit short.

The Showman had once again orchestrated a grand ball in the manor, creating an atmosphere where worries were set aside and pure fun took center stage. This time, the ball had a Dark Masquerade theme, with everyone dressed in stunningly dark attire that transported you to a world of vampire elegance.
You couldn't help but gaze at the couples dancing together, their movements exuding a sense of urgency and passion. It seemed as though they were seizing every moment, dancing as if their lives depended on it. Meanwhile, you found yourself standing alone on the sidelines, resigned to the fact that no one would ask you to join in. Deciding to make the most of the situation, you retreated to a quiet corner with your drink.
As you swirled the rich red wine in your glass, a strange occurrence caught your eye. A refrigerator materialized on top of the wine, creating a bewildering sight. Before you could fully process what was happening, a voice broke through the confusion.
"Oh my~ Why are you all alone, my dear? You do know this is a ball, right?
You looked up and saw the host of the ball himself—Phineas, The Showman. A mixture of surprise, as if you just saw a ghost yet also filled with delight as you took in his charismatic presence. Phineas smiled with curiosity, acknowledging your astonished expression. He couldn't help but tease, "Hey now~ I know that I do give off a ghostly vibe considering I am a real ghost but you shouldn’t act all surprised like that!" He chuckles at that
Phineas's unexpected appearance took your breath away. Although you had caught a glimpse of him on the stairs when you arrived, his close proximity revealed his effortless style and the mask that embellished his face, enhancing his already undeniable charm.
Phineas chuckled at your reaction, removing his top hat and placing it over his chest. He extended his hand, gently touching yours and planting a tender kiss on top. He then invited you, "Say say!! The night is still young, my dear~ It would be a waste for you to stand there like a beautiful statue. How about a dance?"
Mesmerized by Phineas's elegance and charisma, you instinctively reached for his outstretched hand. The warmth that surged through your fingertips set your heart aflutter. Phineas led you onto the dance floor with grace and confidence, glimmering eyes following your every move. The other guests watched in awe and admiration as you both twirled and swayed to the enchanting music, completely absorbed in the moment.
Time seemed suspended as you and Phineas danced, finding an unspoken connection in the rhythm. Every step felt like a discovery, as if Phineas could hear the beating of your heart and effortlessly guide you through the motions. The world around you faded away, leaving only the two of you enveloped in a private sphere of melody and motion.
With the tempo intensifying, you matched its rhythm with accelerating spins, losing yourselves in a whirlwind of passion. The spectators fell silent, unable to tear their eyes away from the spectacle unfolding before them. The air crackled with an electric energy, a tangible force that pulsed between you and Phineas.
As the dance reached its climax, Phineas held you close, his breath mingling with yours as you both caught your breath. An overwhelming sense of gratitude washed over you, grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an extraordinary experience.
Phineas gently released you from his embrace, and the other masked guests returned to their partners, continuing the dance uninterrupted. But for you, that night would forever hold a special place in your memories.
As the night drew to a close, Phineas embarked on his farewell rounds, expressing gratitude to each guest. But his gaze always returned to you, a knowing smile passing between the two of you. Approaching once more, he leaned in to kiss your hand with a mischievous grin.
"The ball may have ended… but would you care to share another dance with me?"

Pairing/s: Norton Campbell (Hunter and Surv) x GN! reader

This happens every damn time. Don't get me wrong, I love Norton. Both sides of him. The second we're all in a match together though, chaos ensues and its not because Fool's Gold is particularly ciolent around me; I say me because he definitely does not hesitate to chair his survivor counterpart.
No, no, it's worse than that. I feel bad for the other two survivors who got paired with me and Norton. The second that Fool's finds out that I am here, he generally turns into a guard dog of sorts. Not wanting me to work so he wanders around with me, other survivors know that once hes latched onto me, they can pretty much run free as long as they dont come into his sights. He's like my sweet guard dog who is still trying to kill my friends but won't go out of his way to do it right now because he deems himself too preoccupied with me.
We are walking around the sacred heart hospital when I notice a certain prospectors magnet dropped on the floor. Unluckily, Fools does not see it and gets caught in its pull. Norton must be around the corner and drags Fools to it, making him hit his head. Dazed, he stands with a hand holding his head. Before I could check on him, though, I'm lifted over Norton's shoulder making me yell out in minor panic.
"Ah! Norton put me down! He wasn't going to do anything to me, you're just causing more trouble for yourself!" He grunts at me and runs away from the dazed rocky version of himself. Quickly hopping over a wall and ducking down while also forcing me to crouch with him. At least my feet are on the ground now..
Before I could fully register what was happening, I was shoved forward slightly just out of Fools Gold's collapse area. Norton however not so lucky and took enough damage for it to be a full hit. He gives me a quick peck to the cheek and an ever speedier "I love you, be safe." Before sprinting off to begin a kite against Fools Gold.
The hunter himself hops the same ledge we just arrived to this spot over, he picks me up off the floor and dusts off my shoulders before mimicking his survivors counterpart's actions. "I love you. I'll make sure he doesn't disturb us anymore. Dont you dare try to save him whenni chair him. You know I won't hit you." He scowls before kissing my forehead and making a quick dash towards where Norton just was.
What an idiot.
"Are they gone...?" I turn back and see a frightened Frederick peaking past a corner. This makes me laugh and nod at the confused composer. "Good, I'm partially afraid of both of them, especially around you."

Sure!! Sorry for the late response, I'm horrible about writing things on time. But your english is great! I think at the time of writing my draft for this, which was quite a while ago, I had planned to write it as Hunter Luchino x Survivor!Reader, so that's what I've got going on here. I don't remember if his survivor form had been released at that time or not but just for clarification, this is Hunter Luchino ^^
Luchino x Survivor!Reader who uses Jumping Stilts
Luchino was used to all sorts of strange new survivors with strange new skills appearing at the manor, but he never expected this.
He had been in a match, hunting as usual, when he saw a rather tall survivor working on a cipher a ways away. He chuckled to himself, thinking about how height must be a disadvantage when trying to survive in a game like this. He launched himself over, just barely missing
You screamed, running off as quickly as you could, and he began to follow. After a while of running, kiting, and lucky misses from Luchino, he finally had you cornered. The only way for you to get out was up, onto a balcony, and to his surprise, up you went.
He had noticed the strange devices on your legs when he tried to hit you the first time, and realized that they were the cause behind your height. But he had assumed they were some kind of leg brace, not a device to help you jump. He was incredibly impressed you managed to get that high.
He quickly followed you, faster than you had anticipated, and grabbed you by the back of your shirt. Dangling you in the air before him, he looked you up and down, studying your stilts for a moment before speaking.
"Those allow you to jump like me?" He asked, though it was more of a statement than a question.
"Y-yes. They're jumping stilts." You nervously replied, heart beating out of your chest.
He made a noise that sounded like a grunt, before using his other hand to lift one of your legs closer to his face so that he could examine it.
"Can I make a deal with you?" He said after a moment. "I'll let you go, end the match, if you allow me to study these back at the manor. I've wasted enough time chasing you, and frankly I don't see why I should down you and risk breaking these contraptions."
You nodded yes, agreeing, and he put you back on the ground. He had you follow him around, asking you to try jumping onto different spots and see which ones you could and couldn't get to. By the time he had finished, your teammates had finished the ciphers and begun opening the doors. They pinged on their radios that you should leave, and that they could help you, but you pinged back to leave without you, so they did.
Luchino walked you to the gates, making small talk, asking more questions about the stilts, simply having a pleasant conversation until you made it to your location. He bid you farewell and sent you on your way, before walking away, presumably to whatever exit the hunters used.
Despite the fact that he was a hunter, tasked with eliminating you and your fellow survivors, you felt strangely comfortable around him. Maybe it was that he shared your inquisitive nature, maybe it was because he was such pleasant company, always offering you tea whenever you met with him to discuss the stilts, or maybe it was the fact that after enough meetings, the stilts were all but forgotten in conversation. What started out as a mutual interest became a regular meeting for the two of you, enjoying tea and one another's conversation.
Eventually, you noticed your own heart raced when around him, but not in the way it used to. You tried not to read into the little things, like how he started stuttering sometimes when you accidently touched his hand reaching for more tea, or how he would clear his throat after making eye contact with you for what felt like just a little too long. But you wanted to read into it, deep down, you wanted to be right.
And you were. He couldn't quite bring himself to say it, or to do anything about it, but you were so incredibly right. He too had started to have feelings for you, someone clever like him, someone who shared a bit of his strangeness, someone he was beginning to trust. It was hard not to fall for you, but here he was. He was hooked on every word you spoke. He wasn't ready to say it yet, but he was truly falling for you.
I hope you enjoyed!! Again, sorry it took so long, but I ended up rewriting everything I had done, and I'm glad I did because this is a much more detailed post than the original was.

Poly Potential (IDV x Reader)
These are just my personal musings on some potential x reader polyships with the IDV characters. Some characters, in my opinion, would be okay with it only in specific dynamics.
(I’m fine with writing poly that goes against these HCs and, as an extra note, Ada and Emil have a ridiculously unhealthy relationship so I’m 100% good to do xreader stuff where they’re not together.) I’ll likely remake this later, when I’m familiar with more characters.
Using Luchino's header bc I havent had a chance to yet
Characters who I think are poly themselves:
Luchino (Hunter&Survivor)
I think this one is pretty self-explanatory. Most reptiles aren’t monogamous, and Luchino has other things to concern himself with than being his partner’s only source of affection and vice versa. He doesn’t really care who else you spend your time with and expects the same courtesy in return. As long as you respect the plans you make together, there’s no issue.
Fiona
I’m not sure about the extent of her eldritch worship, but I think her focus on that makes her a more open to atypical relationship dynamics and a less open to hard legal commitments like marriage. Poly works out well for that particular combo.
Patricia
She just strikes me that way? She yearns for a sense of belonging, and having multiple lovers means multiple “homes” for her heart. She’s a bit picky about her partners, though.
Some situational poly opportunities:
Norton x Naib x Reader Triad
Norton and Naib get one another on a level they don’t even have to voice. They’re kinda in their own little bubble away from reality and, while I think they’d both be okay sharing the other with a 3rd party, they’d both strongly prefer to like the same person. That way you would also be in their bubble rather than one of them stepping out. This triad would work best if you’re more laid back. Norton has to step away when his personality swings, and Naib does his own thing behind the scenes, so there will be times when neither can hang around. Don’t let that make you doubt their love, though.
Wu Chang x Reader…Triad?
This one is pretty depressing because I think Xie Bi'an and Fan Wujiu were lovers before, but they can’t have direct contact anymore. That said, they are aware of one another’ presence and have implicit trust in one another. So if one of them fell for you, there’s a very good chance the other would fall for you too, and they have no issues sharing. It’s both sweet and sad because you’d be important to them both as a lover, and as a messenger for them to speak again.
Luca x Reader x Victor
This one’s pretty straightforward, I think. They have a good rapport with one another, and are generous about sharing. They’re also both pretty straightforward communicators—though Victor may take a bit longer to address things—so any jealousy issues can be easily resolved. There’s room for this to be a triad, as well.
Reader x Emil x Ada
This set up would be very difficult to get into, and more than a tad hostile. Emil loves Ada, and he very much could love another, but Ada is possessive and controlling. This would only work if you had an established friendship with Ada before you met Emil, AND if you were susceptible to her manipulation. This is the only way she trusts you enough to let you around Emil—she knows you’ll accept her guidelines for not interfering with their ‘treatment progress’—and then Emil develops feelings quickly because you already have a rapport with Ada and you must be as nice as she is. This could potentially be a triad, but it somehow gets even more unhealthy that way as Ada’s laser-focus for Emil would leave you to be neglected by her a lot.
Joker x Reader x Margaretha
Under normal circumstances, I don’t think either of these two are willing to share a partner. But since they both still have feelings for one another on some level, they can understand why you would too. there’s potential for this to become a triad as well, if you’re a good enough wingman and can convince Margaretha to stop burying her feelings so much.
Edgar x Reader x Frederick
Under normal circumstances they’d both prefer you be exclusive with them, but there’s a unique exception when it comes to each other. They both think their respective art mediums are superior to others, and strive to reach perfection in their work. While they don’t share appreciation for the same art form, they respect one another’s discernment and tenacity. And, clearly, you have wonderful taste to have picked them both out. This set of relationships works in the long-run too, as Frederick is concerned with appearances, reputation, and family names, so he would want to marry. Edgar doesn’t care nearly as much about such things, and is content to be in your life without a ring and a vow involved.
Kevin x Reader x Emily, Fiona, or Patricia
It’s a bit of a mixed bag here, as I think each of the three ladies have different likelihoods of engaging in poly relationships, but Kevin is the more important element here. He would be okay with having a poly partner, but only if the other partner(s) was a woman. He’s too competitive with other men, and it would turn toxic if left to fester. Additionally, one of these three women would be best because he’d feel weird if your other partner was too much younger than him.
Characters who would never, under ANY circumstances, be okay with you having more partners:
Ithaqua
He. Does not. Share. This guy is as close as it gets to yandere that I’m willing to write, and he really toes the line.
Freddy
Let’s be honest, he’s just a bad person. He’s possessive and will do anything to keep you all to himself. If you’re very charismatic (or very gullible) he might be convinced long enough for you to get another partner…but then get toxic. He will go out of his way sabotage your other partner(s) just like he did Leo. And he WILL do his best to make it look like everyone but him is the issue to convince you to give up polyamory forever.
Andrew
You could convince him to let you have another partner, but it would doom your relationship. Andrew’s insecurities would eventually get the best of him, and he would break up with you, unable to take seeing you with someone “better” while he gets “strung along like a fool.”
Anne
She’s too untrusting of people now. Loving one person enough to overcome the betrayals she’s suffered is already remarkable for her, but loving more than one, or loving someone who has other lovers that might be scheming behind her back is too large of a trauma-based roadblock for her to overcome.

Hear me out… TMA entities x IDV. Like if the IDV characters were avatars of them. Focusing mainly on survivors, but I threw a few hunters in for good measure.
The Buried would be Andrew. I mean it’s perfect really. His whole thing is going underground, and he even has the Claustrophobia trait. Norton could also work, as he did bury all those miners in the cave and was under immense financial hardship. I think he’d be a victim of the Buried more so though.
The Corruption I feel would best be portrayed by Melly. Since she loves bees, she could be a Flesh Hive for them. And her unhealthy relationship with her husband could also add to the whole corruption thing.
The Dark is one I’m a little iffy on, but could be a couple characters IMO. I could see Jack, Ann, Sangria, or maybe Nightmare? Like all of them vaguely have dark themed powers, but not specifically The Dark level stuff. So idk.
What immediately comes to mind for The Desolation is Emma and Leo, for obvious reasons. Those being Emma burning Kreacher alive and Leo’s entire life being destroyed + dying in his factory fire. I see Emma more so an Avatar, and I feel like Leo would be more of a victim of it. Like Emma saw what happened to Leo and was drawn to the Desolation. Philippe also could be an easy one, as he’s all waxy and fire-y.
The End is quite clearly Aesop. His obsession with death is the perfect complement to The End. No further notes.
The Eye is a pretty general one, so I think it could match Orpheus, Alice, Helena, Keigan,and Eli. Orpheus and Alice are like the main character kinda of IDV, so it makes sense for them to be The Eye. Also they always wants to solve mysteries and learn more about the manor, even if it hurts them. Then, Helena is just super smart, so it’s practically a given she’d be Eye. Kiegan’s power is also pretty similar to the Eye, observing survivors and storing the information, and her whole record keeping thing. Also Eli and Helena I think would just be aesthetically interesting. Like you see the vision right?
I honestly think there isn’t a character that would match The Flesh. There’s not really any body horror in IDV, so there nobody to match. Maybe Percy, but he’s not really a good match
The Hunt would match well with Naib, as his whole life is pretty much finding and killing people. I could see an argument for Bane, but I’m not fully sold on it.
The Lonely is another one I’m not sure about. Jack is foggy yeah, but not particularly lonely.
The Slaughter is another one I think Naib could belong to, being a mercenary and all. Martha also seems like a good candidate, but I’m not sure she really fits the violence. Other than that, I think that a lot of the hunters could match the Slaughter a little but I’m not sure.
Though I don’t think she’s looks wise very The Spiral-like, Yidrah would very much fit the Distortion. She causes people to have dreams and stuff, so that could easily transfer to illusions. Also, I think Emil would be a victim of the Spiral possibly, because of his very fragile mental state.
For the Stranger, firstly, I think most of the Hullabaloo cast would be part of it simply because they are circus people. Maybe Margaretha would be the Nikolai stand-in, idk. Either way, I also think Matthias would be part of the Stranger, because of his whole puppeteering thing and because Louis is just too uncanny valley not to be. Anne I feel could be a victim of the Stranger if not an Avatar. Perhaps she’s a witness to one of her toys being creepy or she becomes a Not-Them, but idk.
For The Vast, I think Charles is ultimately the best choice, if only because of his connection to the sky. Not much else to say about it. Maybe Anne also because of her connection to flying, but that’s very loose. Grace could also be a candidate, as deep water is another manifestation of The Vast.
The Web is pretty obviously Violetta, are because spider. I also see Matthias, because of the whole puppeteering thing.

Here are some of my very messy concept doodles for my IDV x Spooky Month crossover because I'm ILL!!!!
My main focus has been on Streber and his friend group, but I also have concepts for other characters like Skid, Pump, Lila, etc.
Streber, Liv, Leon, and Confi are all survivors, while Ethan, Aria, Blaz, and Confi again are all hunters (Confi has an Identity Switch like Norton and Fool's Gold or Orpheus and Nightmare)
I'm working out Liv's skills right now, depending on if the people like this I might explain the skillsets later as well as make cleaned up drawings.
Anyway guys idc about being cringe anymore. Combine your hyperfixations into one. It's freeing.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗But, once he has been a hunter in the manor, and after he became a lizard, no body wanted to even be near him. He was incredibly closed off from everyone, in his room (or better known as his "lab") doing whatever god knows what. But, he oddly liked it that way..
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Until you came along. During a match, he had his eyes on you, wanting to know more and study you. "What a fascinating human.." he thinks to himself.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗The way you guys met was when you both were in the manors hunter garden (its giantic btw :skull emoji:). He bumps into you, surprised of the fact that a mere human, let alone a survivor was wandering around the hunter's part of the manor
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗"Human.. why are you here? Do you even know who I am.? I am a terrifying creature… Many mortals fear me…."
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗"Yea, also this is a nice garden!"
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗"….Did you not hear what I just said."
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗After that whole entire mess, he grew to like you more and more, both getting to know each other and you sneaking off to the hunter's part of the manor, often hanging around the garden.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗At first, he is not too fond of touch. He actually despised it. But the more you guys are around each other, he had this.. weird desire to give you lots of affection, he didn't understand why though.
-In the start of the relationship, how he shows his affection is giving you small gifts like necklaces, flowers, etc. He'd give excuses to sit beside you.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗When you give him some stuff back, he would be blushing like ALOTT this lizard boy just gets flustured easily.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗"Thank you so much, amore mio." (he'll say it camly even tho he's like freaking out on the inside.)
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗he loves it when you listen to him geeking out about science stuff and all of that, it makes him feel all giddy inside and makes him fall in love with you even more.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗compliment his scales and everything. He loves the way he looks, and when you compliment him, his ego goes through the roof lol
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He also loves chin scratches. Give him chin scratches and he purrs loudly and you can literally feel and hear the vibration from his body.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Once the relationship has been going on for awhile, he'll easily get comfortable with hugs and cuddles, and pretty much almost everything.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He loves to pick you up with his long ass tail, even just out of no where.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He'd also have you watch him with his experiments in his labs. He'll sometimes allow you to join in, but that's on certain stuff. Half the reason is because he doesn't want you to get hurt if anything happens, and also he is a complete control freak, and only likes things going his way when it comes to this type of stuff, so he would go crazy if any experiments is not mostly him doing it.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He loves reading some books with you with classical music in the background while you both are cuddling up on his bed.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He'd also treat you to a romantic dinner date (Joseph and Leo would be volunteering to do the food and wine for yall considering you guys can't really go out anywhere since you are literally stuck inside a manor r.i.p)
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗He also ADORES kissing with chin scratches if that makes sense, on both ends. He also loves to pull you in and hold you while you guys are kissing (real)
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Overall, a really great lizard guy 10/10 (I need him right now fr)
