Gojo’s way of saying he cares about Ijichi and (depending on the timeline of that comment) doesn’t want him to become another Haibara and doesn’t want to lose someone else so soon after him and Amanai, came off so flippant and kinda rude because there was all that care behind it—

and Ijichi, while stunned by the harshness, recognized exactly what he meant in all of that and appreciated Gojo’s attempt to protect him and push him to a route that would prevent him from joining other sorcerers in an early grave

I’m doing a relisten to season 5 because reasons and I just listened to ep 186 where Jon kills Helen and it’s made me a little confused on the distortion vs the stranger. (Yes I know they all overlap and intersect and labels r pointless but humor me I like categories)

Jon says that Helen isn’t just a door, or what’s behind it cuz that would make her the dark or the stranger. Instead she’s what’s behind a smile, if a friendship is true or fake, or built on lies. It was always to my mind that the distortion was the fear of unreality— that physical spaces aren’t what they seem. And that the stranger was the uncanny, that people aren’t what they seem. Would that make Helen seem more like the stranger then if she’s the embodiment of lies? Or is the stranger strictly the fear that what seems human isn’t human— not in a lying way but in a strictly “oh no that’s a Mannequin” kinda way?

There’s this particular loneliness that some authors depict with Draco in some fics that make me ache because it’s so familiar and makes me want to absorb their draco into my body

Okay in all honesty tubbo has a very good point of the antagonist because it’s not fun to watch people play against and go into fights that everyone knows they can’t win and aren’t given a chance to win. The eye guys are invincible and deal true damage and we know for sure that the Feds aren’t going down anytime soon. A bad guy who’s temporary but able to be fought and killed makes things interesting instead of forces who are literally invincible (and saying so is fail rp)

Astarion story idea in the vein of knowing Tav in their past-life:

What if someone else came to his rescue the night the Gur attacked him? Making Cazador miss his opportunity and have to try again. What if it’s elven Tav, maybe a cleric to the elven goddess, saves him and tries to help him uncover why he was targeted and why Cazador is hunting him now. In the process they fall in love, plan to sort things out and live happily ever after. But just as they start to unravel the plot, Cazador ambushes them and Tav is slain, Astarion captured and turned. This is why Astarion loses his faith in the gods, because they didn’t save him or Tav. 200yrs later they meet on the beach, Tav again, in a new incarnation. Both their memories are awakened and they fall in love again, vowing to finish what they started all those years before. And this time they win.

Been thinking about what it is in particular about Matt rempe and i finally got it. He has that crab beauty. You know, eyes a little bit too far apart, but he makes it work. It’s a good thing trust me

​This chapter just reinforced that Satoru does everything for his students—even healing his brain after almost dying five times and giving his all to the point where he burned himself out and couldn’t open a domain anymore.

Satoru’s cockiness has always been there, but over the course of the series it’s become clear that with age it’s become more of a facade, a brave face he keeps for his students and those around him because if he (as the strongest) isn’t worried and knows he can handle it/doesn’t show weakness, then they won’t be worried.

He does this and keeps this up because he knows that everyone puts so much faith in him and that showing weakness allows enemies to think they have a leg up in a situation (the great Gojo is weak!) and also shakes the confidence of his students who look up to him and believe he can always handle situations. And we see that played out again in this part of the fight.

He kept a brave face on, and did his best to hold on to his cocky facade so his watching students wouldn’t worry more than they already were (and with his six eyes he can likely pick up on poor Yuta’s anxiety, but I digress). Toward that last moment he still kept a brave, if resigned, face on, even while accepting that Sukuna was likely to finish him off.

So when it turned out that Sukuna fought so hard that he couldn’t open his domain again either and they are back on equal footing, his relief was palpable and he let it show. (After all, his worried students are watching, the whole world is too, but they deserve to see he’s relieved and hasn’t lost yet!)

Everything almost wasn’t okay—everything almost wasn’t okay for most of this fight tbh—so this upper hand/even playing field is a major relief and we get cocky Satoru again telling Sukuna that the kids are watching before he goes in to fight Sukuna hand-to-hand.

Idk I’m rambling and I’m gonna tag @theanimepsychologist in this in case I missed something, but I just love this chapter for so many reasons, especially how we got more info about domains and techniques and their effects on the body, but I really love how it showed us how much Satoru cares about his students, just how hard Satoru fought (even to his own detriment) for them, and how the way he presents himself even in battle is for them and partly because of their faith in him as the strongest.

it is just saddening, despite the fact I loathe Hallmark films, that because of the four films it made featuring gay couples, it lost quite a few actors and the CEO of Hallmark. They moved to a channel called Great American Family (its… exactly as it sounds).

1: “It’s because I have fur/scales/ect. Isn’t it?”

2: Humans being called Furries/Monsterfuckers when in romantic relationships with Monsters.

3: Monsters don’t really understand the concept of the Human healthcare system and will often times start their own practices where they just use healing magic.

4: Human scientists practically swarmed Alphys and asked her a shit ton of questions about the core/her experiments/Mettaton/the overall understandings Monsters have over science. She got very overwhelmed very fast.

5: Monsters have a high rate of adoption/fostering of Human children/teens due to their high acceptance of different genders and sexualities.

6: Humans had to ban/remove a lot of movies and books due to them being harmful and/or offensive to Monsters.

7: Monsters use the ol’ “Your ancestors trapped us underground.” thing a lot.
