Ectoloader (+ Snipe) backstory!!
Here it is!!! Finally!! Idk how many of y’all still actually wanna see this, but hey, it’s here anyway-
This is basically like how they meet, what they go through together, all that lot. It’s ectoloader, and snipe is there too fgjffjf- he has a lil bit of his own backstory in there, cuz it fits.
I will probably write about their own respective backstories (like up until they meet, and their personal backgrounds) at some point, but for now, take this <3
This will include some of my ocs, who are friends and family to these guys, and are actually pretty important to their backstory - despite me not introducing them properly yet (I will soon) - and I’ll give like a very basic description of them in here.
[also this is only a summary, written in bullet points for my own sanity - not a fully written out fic or anything]
TW: this will include violence, descriptions of injury, explosions, death (all part of The Incident™️)
————————————————————————
Under the cut bc it’s gonna be long-
(Update, now that it’s finished: it is indeed incredibly very much longer than I thought!!!!)
So! Guess we’ll start with Higari’s side of things (cuz it’s easier jsfsjfsjf)
PL moves from his family’s country home, to stay in the city with a cousin after getting accepted into UA
We are gonna assume that the entrance exams were the same with all the robots n stuff
He passed the exam by basically just punching the shit out of these robots, and taking some of them apart and dismantling them
He piqued the interest of the support course, who offered him a place, however he turned them down bc he wanted to be in the hero course. They understood this, and he got accepted into the hero course, but also offered special access to parts of the support course/classroom, for when and if he wanted to learn more of that side of things. (He was very happy about that)
Meanwhile, Ecto passed the exam by using his quirk to deal with the obstacles stealthily and just using his surroundings and helping others
(Idek what Snipe did but the imagery of him just bringing a gun to this exam and shooting the robots is quite funny actually)
Anyway, the first day of class comes along and Higari enters the classroom and takes a seat. There’s lots of students sitting around and entering, some chatting away, some just sitting by themselves. He’s never been fond of social situations, so he simply sat there and waited for class to start.
The atmosphere of this class (he and Ecto were in 1-A) was different to how he was used to, though. It seemed much more...friendly...than he had expected. This put him at ease.
Just before class starts, a couple more students are arriving and filling up the seats.
Among these students is a tall, masked, dark haired boy (our dear Ecto) - Higari watched as he walked in, he looked incredibly intimidating and honestly quite scary as his blank eyes scanned the room.
That changed almost immediately however, when he tripped over a desk on his way to his seat, and let out the most gentle voice, as he picked up the stuff of a classmate that he had bumped into, apologising as the other reassured him that it was okay.
Higari laughed a lil at the sight.
The atmosphere was light and happy, everyone was excited to start their first day at the hero school. And so school began.
The first few days were normal school stuff, introductions, getting books and everything sorted for the school year, uniforms and all that.
Then came the day where they started their hero training.
It wasn’t hard training (as they’d only just started) but it was still just what would be expected from UA *cue Iida voice here*
They got put into pairs and had to work together in a random terrain, to find the three objects -representing civilians who need to be saved- that are hidden around.
So, Higari gets paired with Ecto, and he is a lil nervous at first, bc he’s never really been good at making friends.
But Ecto seemed very nice and happy to communicate and they started to make small conversation.
Ecto basically just said “hey!! I’ve seen you, you’re the kid who got extra offers from the support course right?? Nice to meet you!”
And Higari responded with “ah...yeah, thats me...you’re the desk guy, yeah?”
“Desk guy.....😔 yes, I’m the desk guy- my name is Ecto (wish we had his actual name ;-;) by the way!” He held out his hand.
Higari slowly took his hand and shook it. “Ecto, huh? I’m Higari.”
They talked a little about themselves, and then got sent out to do their class work.
They were in a forest terrain and Ecto used his quirk to split up and search, meanwhile, Higari searched in the other direction.
It was a simple task, and they completed it rather quickly. Afterwards, they both simply went back to class, and carried on with their day.
At lunch that day, Higari went to go get lunch, and sit in a spot that he’d found to be nice and quiet, and peaceful, however some other students were there so he had to move elsewhere.
As he’s looking for somewhere to sit, he feels a tap on the shoulder as he passes a table.
Looks down to see a pair of familiar blank eyes and a face, now unmasked to show a row of uncovered teeth, smiling and looking back up at him.
“Higari, right? Sorry- just noticed that you needed somewhere to sit- would you like to join me and my friend here? It’s only the two of us, so there’s plenty of room at the moment!” He offered.
Higari was a lil surprised at the sudden face reveal, but shrugged it off, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly and accepted the offer, placing his tray down and taking a seat next to him. “Ah thanks so much- Ecto, yeah?”
Ecto nodded and gestured to his friend across from him. “This is my friend, Snipe (again we need his name pls Hori ;-;), he’s in 1-B! And Snipe, this is my classmate, Higari.”
Snipe smiled and waved at Higari, who gave a nervous smile back. “Nice to meet ya!”
“Yeah- nice to meet you too!” Higari started to eat. “So I’m guessing you two knew each other before coming here then?”
Ecto laughed. “Yeahh, we went to the same school and live on the same road- ended up growing up together basically!”
“Wow! So you two are pretty close then! Thats cool, must’ve been a bit of a change when you were put in different classes-”
“Yeah, a bit! But, all the better opportunities to meet new people!” Ecto said and Snipe nodded, almost entirely focused on his food. “But anyway- what about you? Where are you from? Anyone you know come here?”
Higari stopped eating to answer his question with a nervous smile. “Ahhh...nah not really. I grew up in the countryside with just my ma and some aunties n uncles- never really...made many friends...” he looked up awkwardly “came here by myself, just stayin with a relative so it’s all quite a big new thing for me!”
Ecto looked intrigued and Snipe looked up, hummed in response, before looking back at his food. Ecto responded, “wow!!! So you’ve come a long way then! That’s quite the challenge, must be a big change!”
Higari nodded. “It’s a lil scary to be honest. But....the environment here is nice.....besides, it’s nice to try something challenging once in a while, huh?”
Ecto smiled. “That’s true!”
They continued to eat and talk until lunch was over, before parting ways with their 1-B friend and heading back to class.
Once the day was over, the two found themselves chatting again, walking to the exit of the school together.
As they were saying goodbye, Ecto chuckled. “Y’know, you’re really fun Higari, we should definitely hang out more! Maybe sitting together at lunch more would be a good idea?”
Higari was shocked but incredibly happy. “Yeah....that does sound like a good idea-”
Ecto sighed. Though he may wear a permanent smile, it was always clear when he was truly smiling. “You know, I’m so excited to go home and be able to say that I made a new friend today....”
Higari felt absolutely stunned. He was considered a friend. They were friends. He had a friend!! “Yeah....me too... :)”
After that, they head back to their homes!
Skip forward many weeks, they had become proper friends now, started hanging out more, Higari gained so much more confidence over the time he spends in ua. He becomes good friends with Snipe, and the three of them hang out regularly.
During the sports festival, they end up getting teamed up (for whatever activity they end up doing) with new people. And end up quite liking these new people. (The friend ocs I’ve been on about)
They are (with basic explanations; nicknames; how they met):
Kano Masaaki - “mum friend” - from 1-A, Ecto teamed up with her. (Quirk: creates and controls water)
Hiro Masaaki - “mum friends twin” - from 1-A, helped Higari with a task. (Quirk: morphs body into water)
Anka nolastnamecurrently - “firecracker girl” - also from 1-A, accidentally punched Ecto in the face and felt bad so teamed up to apologise. (Quirk: shoots fireworks out her hands)
Nari Yoshikazu - “nice friend” - from 1-B, friends with Snipe so teamed up with him. (Quirk: controls atmosphere n weather around him)
During the break between events, they all ended up talking together, and well they all really got along! Snipe introduced his friend to the others and Anka and Nari clicked immediately and were talking for ages.
Ecto and Higari were getting to know the twins, and just all round were having good discussions.
The sports festival ended after the one on one battles. Higari’s group didn’t quite get into it. Ecto and snipe did, and ended up facing off against each other and a few of their new friends.
Ecto came 4th, just being beaten by “mum friend” in third and her twin in 2nd.
After the festival, they continued with school life. Started hanging out more with these new friends, and at lunch, spending time with the two from 1-B.
As time goes on, the year passes, they go through their lil changes in developing their skills and friendships.
Higari starts receiving extra small study sessions, from the support course teacher and helps him develop those skills as well. (He’s a busy lil guy)
The year ends, they have their exams, everything goes well. They spend their break together, as a friend group, hanging out and having fun. They study together. At some point Anka and Nari (firecracker and nice friend) start dating.
They come back for their second year.
Now, they’re having to focus even more on developing their skills and publicity with internships.
Higari struggles a little with combat side, bc he hasn’t found a way that suits him yet. His quirk simply enhances his hands, and he hasn’t been able to utilise it properly. All he has been doing is using them to punch and avoid being hit.
He interns with a smaller hero to work on his combat and strength. (A bit like how uraraka went to gunhead) he also learnt a lot about working with the public, and how to be more confident interacting with others.
Ecto had some connections from his parents (mother is a famous actor and father is a popular musician who are friends with heroes at the time) so he ended up interning with quite a top pro, giving him a boost in publicity and teaching him more about working with the public.
Snipe interns under his mother (who was a pro at the time) since they had the same quirk and helped him to train himself better.
Again, the year passed relatively quickly, they learnt a lot over their internships and developed their skills fast!
About over halfway through their second year, was when Higari started growing feelings for Ecto.
He’d watched as he trained so hard to get better at what he did. When Ecto would get excited over studying and learning new tricks, or when he would have that massive grin of his, peeking over his mask, as he talks to him about boring subjects like math- it made Higari feel all warm and fuzzy inside…..and he did not know what to do, he was panicking. ‘Oh my god, am I in love with my best friend??? No- nahhhh I can’t be, I just really like him to be happy!!! …..yeah……’
The others knew. Ecto didn’t. He was blissfully oblivious. And Higari was happy to keep it that way.
One day, during a school break, Higari was planning on heading back home to see his mum and family. Just to stay for a couple of days and catch up. He was gonna go alone before he had an idea.
This would be a great opportunity, to invite his friends, and show his mum how far he’d come. And to prove to her that he’s okay, and that he’s got friends and that he’s happy and doing well. (Also he just wanted to show his friends off)
Soooo he invites them, only Ecto and snipe could make it, bc the others were busy with internship work and family, but they all travel down to go stay with Higari’s family for a few days. (Higari told his mum beforehand and she was really happy to meet them)
They get there and Iku (Higari’s mum) is standing at the door, arms crossed, waiting for them. Ecto and Snipe watch as Higari greets her with a big hug, and gets fussed over, before introducing themselves. (I’d love to write this out fully one day)
Everything goes well, though a little awkward at the start - they’re teenagers meeting their friends family for the first time, it’s always awkward - and they get to meet all of Higari’s aunts, uncles and cousins, and oh boy they were so busy.
After just catching up, having food and laughing, they go to bed and rest up.
The next day, Higari goes to help around the farm, bc he feels bad being there and not helping. The other two wanna help too, so they follow him around and learn about all the little things he grew up doing. And also meeting the animals that he grew up with and raised.
On the last day, Higari is helping to move stuff, and is digging around in his good ol gremlin fashion.
Ecto watches him as he does this and finds it really cool. “Woah!! You’re a really fast and efficient digger!!!!”
Higari looked up, from the little hole he was in, at the smiling boy. Dammit he looked so adorably happy again…. “Ah….yeah… guess my quirks just good for that!”
Iku walks over and chimes in, in classic embarrassing mama fashion, “yeah, our quirks are great for that sorta thing!! Growing up, Higari here would never pass up an opportunity to leave our garden full of lil burrows!! He’d be tunnelling all around n everything! Was a nightmare trying to catch him, since ya never know where he got to!”
“Ma…….it was fun….” Higari pouted and looked at his claws, picking the dirt off of them.
Ecto laughed. “Haha! Must’ve been a handful trying to wrangle you as a kid!! Tunnels, huh……wow….” He seemed to stop and think.
“What?” Higari noticed his thoughtful face and became curious.
“Ah no! It’s nothing- just thinking……that could be quite an interesting technique to use in combat…..digging and tunnelling…..your opponent would have to be on guard for wherever you could pop up from!!!” He said rather excitedly, his eyes sparkling in the sun and from his excitement.
“Wow……yeah….” There was a moment of silence as Higari was just lost for words as he kinda panicked about how happy his friend looked and how his words makes perfect sense and would fit so perfectly into his way of thinking and fighting.
Before they could really say much else, though, Snipe came running towards them. He looked incredibly dishevelled, with feathers sticking out of his hair, panting. “Higari- oh my god- dude, I just got attacked by your freakin’ chickens-”
They all laughed at the poor lil cowboy, as Iku helped him and pulled the feathers out of his hair. Snipe was laughing too, however not as much as the other two.
And well that was that for their break. They cleaned up and went to bed, saying their goodbyes the next day. Higari hugged his mum goodbye and promised to let her know when he was back in the city and safe. And off they went. Back to the city, to their homes, and back to UA.
Not a word was spoken between them since then about Ecto’s idea, however it was on Higari’s mind 24/7. He couldn’t stop thinking about it, and the potential that the technique could have in improving his combat skills. Not to mention, the idea was paired with Ecto’s happy smiling excited face, and that made it even more prominent in his mind.
Higari was a very logical thinker, incredibly intelligent(but to the point where he’d skip over simple stuff, and people would think that it was bc he wasn’t bright/didn’t understand - mostly assuming it from his upbringing unfortunately), and direct with how he approached things. However, growing up, not many people wanted to be friends with him because of this, and they would complain that nothing he said made sense and it was annoying. But he now had friends who loved him for it. And who knew how to offer him ideas and approaches that would fit how he thinks. And this was fantastic and made him feel so happy.
So the end of year exams came. And this time. They had to fight against other students, one on one. Whoever captures/immobilises the other first wins, and they both receive points and advice on their performance. Higari was incredibly nervous for this since he had been getting behind on this part of class.
He gets paired against Ecto. Of course. His best friend, crush, and one of the strongest students in their class. The only good thing was that he knew his style of fighting from training with him and watching him, and had analysed the way he moved many times before. But still. This was going to be tricky. Their friends watched and cheered them on.
They face off in a large empty dirt ground (like the one Ojiro and Tenya went against PL in their exams). Ecto was in his hero costume at the time - a tight fitting turtleneck tucked into baggy sweats basically - and Higari was just wearing the school sports uniform with his hair tied back, his long fringe still falling over his eyes.
Ecto gives Higari a grin. “Not gonna go easy on you, just cuz you’re my best friend~”
Higari grinned back. “Yeahh don’t ya try it- I’m not gonna go easy on ya either!”
They took their places at either side of the field and the horn sounded, marking the start of the exam.
Higari instantly lowered himself, knowing Ecto would make the first move. He watched as clones formed and made their way towards him, almost like a swarm of bees. He dodged the first few, swiping at them with his claws and causing them to evaporate. Dealt with a few more by punching at them, grabbing them and swinging them. Basically, it was just a bunch of Ecto’s vs PL.
This went on for a little bit, and Higari was getting a lil roughed up and tired. Ecto was maintaining his distance from Higari, but sending clones to get closer.
Higari was feeling frustrated with himself for not being stronger and only having a couple of techniques against his friend. He was starting to think about his flaws and how “weak” he was. But that made him think of something.
A flashback to Higari and Ecto training together. Higari was hunched over, sat on a bench, clearly distraught and tired from training. Ecto came and sat next to him, asking what was wrong. Higari simply gritted his teeth and muttered about how he was “weak” and “useless” when it came to fighting. And how he just didn’t know what to do.
Ecto looked shocked, before crouching down on the floor and lowering himself so that he was looking up at Higari’s face through his hair and he could see him tearing up. He placed his hands on his shoulders and spoke to him.
“Hey….listen. You are not weak or useless. You are the most intelligent person I know! You’re a literal freaking genius, Higari- who else has that insane memory and brain that you have?? Who else can take one look at something that needs to be fixed and fix it in one minute? Who else sees the ability to create something completely wild and amazing out of nothing, and actually pull it off??!!? Nobody!! Nobody else thinks the way you do, the amazing way that you do, with your ability to work your way through everything, no matter how hard it is or no matter the consequences!! So what if you only have a couple of fighting techniques! So what if the only way out of a fight is for you to just use your brain and your hands. You can still do it. You hold more power in those hands and in that mind of yours than 5 of me!! Heck, you can take down 5 of me in one single blow- I could never call that weak!!!”
Higari was absolutely stunned at his friends words. Unable to speak just listen in shock, and see the genuine passion in Ecto’s eyes as he ranted about how apparently amazing he was. (How Ecto saw him in his own eyes).
Ecto pulled him into a hug. “So please- please don’t call yourself weak, okay?? You’re strong in so many ways, I know you’ll get through this and figure it out.”
As the flashback ended, one single thought was on Higari’s mind.
He thought back to Ecto’s face that day. That day at the farm, his eyes glowing in the sun, and his amazed smile as he watched him from above. How he looked so in awe at Higari’s simple skill. Digging and tunnelling around. That was all. But he found it so amazing……so what if….what if he turned Ecto’s words of suggestion into reality?
Snapping back, in their exam, Ecto had noticed Higari’s dejected look and had started to come closer (in attempts to capture him, but also he was instinctively trying to make sure he was okay) and he had no clones left.
Just as Ecto approached him, Higari snapped into life and just like that. He seemed to disappear. So fast, Ecto didn’t have time to think. He was confused. Where did he go??
Cracks formed around him, from every direction. The earth was rumbling. He was looking around, trying to protect himself from whatever sneak attack Higari was planning. But nothing prepared him for a clawed hand popping out from right beneath him and pulling him into the dirt below him.
After the initial shock wore off he realised he was fully stuck and wedged in this dirt hole and couldn’t move. He had run out of clones, so he had basically lost and been immobilised. But where was Higari?
Just as he thought that, the earth around him rumbled once more and a familiar ginger haired boy popped out of the earth right in front of him.
Higari was laughing, the sun shining behind him, his fringe parted to show his eyes and his entire face just bursting with pure happiness and joy. “You were right!!! That was so fun!!!! It’s like a path just opened up before my eyes and I took it and it was right there- ohhh how did I never think of that before???!!!!! Ecto, you’re amazing!!!! You really are amazing!!” He gushed to the stunned boy in front of him.
And this is where Ecto had his “oh……” moment. The moment where he looked at the ecstatic boy in front of him and realised how hard he had just fallen. He saw how happy and excited his friend was, the joy in his face, how cute that face was when erupting into laughter with the sun shining on him like some magical anime moment- and his words. Calling him amazing. Just for something he said ages back. It was this moment where Ecto fully understood that Higari was no longer just a friend to him, and that he had fallen bad.
“No…..Higari……dammit…That…was amazing……you’re amazing…” he managed to mumble under his breath.
The horn sounded, marking the end of the exam, and Higari helped Ecto out of the little hole in the ground. They both laughed and exclaimed about Higari’s new little technique and went to go and get checked up and receive their results.
Their friends were waiting for them and pulled them both into a massive group hug, all fussing over Higari and about how he had been “hiding that amazing skill from them” and they were all so happy.
After they had received their results, and all the exams had taken place and finished, they all made their way to their classroom to grab their things and head home. And oh what a day it was. They all needed to rest after that. Higari went home absolutely overjoyed that he had basically opened up a new chapter in his abilities and skills. And Ecto went home with a new realisation, and a slightly panicked and stunned one at that.
So. Their second year ended, and they enjoyed their break together like always. Third year had now begun. Ecto and Higari are both pining for each other at this point, but both of them are so oblivious to it. Just two friends that are driving their other friends crazy.
Their third year went past quickly too. They were all so busy working with internships, Higari still attending support workshops on top of this, developing his new style of his and working to create items that could help him- they were all very focused on their last year and all the important stuff.
Ecto was busy doing commercial work with his mum and dad, helping him boost his popularity. He actually invited Higari and his friends around for it as well a couple of times (Higari first meeting ectos parents and older sister is another thing I’d like to write out someday) and that was a really interesting event.
Fast forward to near the end of their third year. They were about to graduate and finish their time at UA, ready to become fully fledged heroes. As an end of year treat, the faculty booked a trip for the 3rd year hero course students to a snowy mountainside resort and hiking trail!
Everyone was so excited, and since both classes got to go together, the whole friend group was together and they were having the time of their lives.
The view was amazing, they were staying in this massive lodge with shared rooms between small groups. They did so much and had so much fun, exploring around the area, meeting people and local heroes, playing in the snow and running back inside to warm up and enjoy hot drinks- it was so much fun and the few days passed quickly.
Higari was incredibly happy. He loves being outside and exploring and going on walks around nature and so this was right up his street. Not to mention it was an exciting new place and he’d never had much of a chance to go to places like this growing up, so he was really enjoying himself. Ecto was happy to see him this happy…..their friends were basically pulling their hair out from their absolute oblivious pining.
The day before they had to head back, they all went on a long hike up the mountain to see the scenery. The group of them spent the whole time laughing and taking pictures (and teasing Higari and Ecto)
They reached an opening, that looked down on the entire place and it was beautiful. A snowy peaceful landscape. Higari found himself standing there just taking in the view and taking pictures to show his family. Behind him, Ecto found himself being prodded and poked by their friends, all trying to get him to make a move.
He ends up being all flustered and trying to walk up to Higari but by the time he got there, Higari had simply turned to him with a bright smile, the backdrop framing his face, and just saying “it’s so beautiful, isn’t it?” Before turning to continue with the walk.
“Yeah….so pretty…” was all that Ecto could reply with (I don’t think he was talking about the view) before looking at their friends and they just shot him a ‘better luck next time dude’ kinda look. They continued with the walk and had great fun.
That evening, after everyone had settled down and most people had went to bed, Ecto was talking to Kano (mum friend) and noticed that Higari wasn’t there. They looked round and saw him standing in the balcony, and Kano simply gave Ecto a nudge. Encouraging him to just go and talk to him since they’d both be alone. So he did.
“You seem to be quite happy here.” He said as he pushed the door open and walked to stand next to the short boy, almost mirroring his posture as he leant against the railings.
Higari didn’t look up, simply seemed quite lost in thought. “Yeah….I like being in the dark….doesn’t hurt my eyes- and well- it’s just nice and quiet ya know?”
Ecto hummed. “I meant that you look happy at this place. You seem so relaxed and at ease….I just couldn’t help but notice how happy you’ve looked since we got here.”
“Oh.” Higari nervously laughed. “Yeah- I uh….it just kinda reminds me of home….the whole in the middle of nowhere type of thing- being surrounded by all the nature n trees and wildlife- I guess it’s just calming to me? The fact this is my first proper school trip that I’ve ever enjoyed with actual friends….maybe I get a little too excited about it I dunno….”
“I think it’s cute.” Ecto blurted out, blushing and stuttering as he realised what he said and saw Higari turn to him with an equally red face. “I uh- I mean- I just like- it’s just nice to see you happy!! I think it’s a great thing!!”
There was a moment of awkward silence before they both tried to speak at the same time. After some stumbling over words, Ecto motioned for Higari to go first and he did. After a while of trying to think about what he was about to say.
“I dunno if saying this is a good idea….I don’t wanna spoil anything, and this is 100% genuine…..I just….how do I…” he was thinking super hard on his words and looked incredibly nervous so Ecto reassured him.
“Hey…look. Whatever it is, I’m gonna listen! Even if it’s something serious, please tell me. I’m your best friend, I’ll always listen!”
With this, Higari took a deep breath and blurted it out. “I really like you, Ecto! Like. A lot…..I have for a while now, and just…..I was so scared to ruin what we have- I don’t wanna lose you as my friend…..the first real friend I’ve ever had…..I’ve always struggled with talkin with others but god, you make it feel so easy! You make me feel so happy, and the way you get so excited about things, yet still can be so serious at the same time- I just……I like you…I’m sorry-”
His face had gone deep red and he turned to walk inside, scared of what he had just confessed. But before he could go back inside, Ecto grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug, his eyes tearing up slightly as he joyously gave his response.
“I really like you too, Higari. I was just as scared, I hid it because I didn’t want to ruin our friendship, but everything that you just said right now? I feel the exact same way. You said you were being 100% genuine? I am too. You’re so amazing, smart, talented and beautiful and I…..I see you as so much more than just a friend to me…..but I was so scared, I never stopped to think you could ever feel the same way.”
They were both blushing like crazy at this point, slightly tearing up, just hugging each other outside.
“You…like me?” Higari questioned, shocked by his friends response, looking up at him.
Ecto nodded. “Yes…I do….that was actually what I was going to say just then…..I was gonna ask if- well- if you wanted to..go out with me?” He was so so nervous.
Higari somehow managed to blush even harder than he already was. “….I’d really like that…”
Ecto let out the biggest grin and sigh of relief and pulled him into an even bigger hug. The two of them were laughing and kinda crying from relief and happiness. They were now officially much more than friends. They were now boyfriends. And oh they couldn’t be happier.
As they go back inside, they are met with the rest of their friends grinning at them like idiots, having obviously heard the whole thing. They immediately tackled the two of them and shared how relieved they were and how happy they were that they’d finally confessed to each other.
For the remaining evening and the trip back home, they both simply couldn’t stop smiling. They went home and saved that trip as a place to remember. A place where an amazing memory had been made. And a place that made them so happy.
Skip forward a few months, they had graduated from highschool and had now become fully fledged heroes. Some of them wanted to pursue further education and some just dived straight into hero stuff alone, building their own separate agencies over time. (However they often fought together as a hero group. Much like the lurkers for example and how they’re a group of separate heroes formed together as one group.)
They all stayed in an apartment together at some point while they were starting out their hero lives together and this just was utter chaos. Eventually, when they were ready, they all started to move out and build their own separate lives. Nari + Anka (nice friend + firecracker) moved out first to their own home, then Hiro (mum friends twin) who moved in with his boyfriend, and then Kano (mum friend) who found her own place, and Snipe moved to an apartment near his parents.
That left Ecto and Higari, who decided to just stay living in that apartment together until they were both ready to find a different place. Their relationship was going incredibly strong at this point and so were their careers so they were just really happy. After a couple of years, they found a place and made it their own. (They made sure that it had plenty of space and land outside- Higari also made sure to change things around so that it fit them. It was their home and they were happy in it.)
Not long after this, their two friends got married (Nari + Anka). Snipe met his gf, and was happy and in a (somewhat) steady relationship. And Ecto and Higari were still happy as ever. Their friends started to look towards them and hint at them about getting married too, but they always seemed to be happy just taking things as they come.
Skip forward a lil. They’re now around 25/26 years old.
Ecto mentions to Higari that he had booked them a holiday. And that he didn’t need to worry, all arrangements had been made and work had been covered. Their friends were also coming, but he just wanted to book them a break, because they had both been working so hard and barely had been spending much time together.
Higari was really excited and curious about where they were going, yet Ecto wanted to keep it a secret (or well, as secret as he could) so he just said that he’d find out when they got there. And so the day came where they had to go, and as soon as they got there (they arrived very early in the morning), Higari was overjoyed at the familiar sight.
They were at the mountainside resort that they stayed at in their third year. A place full of happy memories, and the place where they first confessed their feelings and got together. They were there on holiday, and they weren’t gonna be hanging around - Ecto had made plenty of plans to keep them busy for as soon as they got there!
Higari questioned where their friends were, and Ecto simply explained that they were going to be arriving a little later on in the day. With that, they dropped their stuff off at the lodge they were staying at (rather than staying in those rooms like they did on their school trip, they had booked a small lodge that was part of the main resort, for themselves) and headed on their way to continue with their plans.
First, they went and visited the local town, buying snacks and drinks for later on in the day. Then, they had lunch at a quiet place that had a really lovely view of the mountain. After that, they went on a long hike up the mountain, taking their snacks with them of course, and walked together, taking in the scenery.
They reached a familiar clearing. It was a while before the sun would set, but the golden glow that shone across the mountains and the snow was breathtaking.
Higari stood at the clearing, smiling to himself at the familiar view. “Y’know…it’s been so long since we were last standing here, yet the view is no less beautiful. Hasn’t changed one bit.”
“Yeah. It really is beautiful…” Ecto stood next to him, holding onto his hand. “You know, last time we were standing here, I had a question to ask you, yet I failed to work up the courage to ask…..all worked out in the end, yet I still can’t help but think how it would have been if I had managed to ask you here rather than later on that evening…”
Higari turned to look at him with a soft smile after realising what he was talking about. “Ohh Ecto…..”
“Yeah…my nerves won’t get the best of me this time though.” He turned to take his smaller partners hands into his own. “Higari…”
The small man froze slightly and tilted his head in confusion. “This time? Yeah?”
Ecto took a deep breath and let his nervousness wash away. “Higari. You are the most amazing person I know. You are so beautiful, smart, funny, brave and creative. We’ve been through so much together already, and have watched each other grow and develop as people. I love to see your face light up when you’ve found something that’s made you happy. I love hearing your cute laugh when you find something funny. I feel like the luckiest man alive, to be able to call you not only my partner, but my best friend also….I love you so so much….”
At this point, Higari had caught on, and had his hands covering his face in surprise, his fringe only just covering up the fact he was already tearing up. He watched as Ecto dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring, his eyes glistening in the sunlight as he popped the question. “Will you marry me?”
There was a moment of silence, while Higari processed everything that had just happened, before he burst out into tears. Ecto patiently waited (slightly concerned and nervous due to his reaction but nevertheless he waited patiently), as Higari lifted back his fringe, allowing him to see the full look of joy and adoration spread across his partners face, and his heart fluttered a little as he saw the way his eyes sparkled in the sun (and the tears) and his big grin spread across his face.
After letting out multiple “of course”’s and “yes”’s- Higari practically tackled Ecto to the ground in a big embrace and they both were crying and laughing in each other’s arms on the floor from happiness. (When Higari questioned how he’d put the ring on, Ecto grinned and took it, opening it up and clasping it around Higari’s finger. This earned a very happy and excited look from the other as he was intrigued by how it was made to fit around his quirk, calling him a “genius”)
After a while, they started heading back down to the resort. Ecto mentioned that he had one more surprise planned for the day and Higari was curious.
When they got back to the lodge, Higari opened the door and was shocked to see his mum standing there, smiling. “Congratulations!” She said, opening her arms as her son ran to give her a big hug.
“Ma! How’d ya get here- what- when- you’re here???” He stuttered out.
“Ahh well, ya see- I’d never pass up an opportunity to surprise my son! Is all thanks to dear old Ecto, coming to me and planning all of this, just for you.” Iku then lead them inside to the main part of the lodge where they were greeted by a loud chorus of congratulations.
Standing there were their friends, a couple of Higari’s aunts and uncles, Ecto’s parents and older sister. All greeting them with a surprise party. Higari was absolutely speechless and turned to Ecto, who simply gave him a grin and leant into him for a hug. “You planned all of this?”
Ecto hummed. “Mhm. I know you’re not a huge fan of parties, so I thought that maybe just a little surprise with our families would be nice.” He motioned to their friends, who were now waving and grinning like idiots in the distance, “most of the organising was from those guys though- couldn’t have done it without them.”
Higari blushed and gave Ecto’s massive hug. “Oh I love you so much- thank you….”
So they enjoyed a small engagement party and the evening was full of laughter, proud tears and teasing between friends and family members. And they spent the rest of their stay just enjoying their time together and being completely infatuated with each other.
Some time passes and the day of their wedding arrives.
The whole day was beautiful and amazing, Higari’s mum walked him down the aisle, distant relatives and family friends were all there, Ecto’s dad performed, their friends also performed later on in the evening (them forming a band for fun in high-school and then using it as an entertainment thing as heroes is a hc I shall get into), snipe gave a very emotional and heartfelt speech for the two of them, Anka almost blew the place up with fireworks, and they had just the most beautiful time. (Also their suits were tailored by a particular Jeanist…who was a relative to a friend, and ended up getting invited and becoming friends with them)
They were now married. And they were so so happy to be able to call each other their husband. Any time the opportunity arose, one would say “husband” and the other would pop up like “ohhhhh thats meeee!!!! I’m your husbandddd!! Hehe…husband :D!!”
And so they were happily married, and life was going so so well and smoothly, and everyone was happy…..for the next 5 years that is….here is when The Incident™️ comes in.
Snipe and his girlfriend had now just had a baby. Anka and Nari (firecracker and nice friend) were, at this point, raising their 3 year old son. Hiro (mum friends twin) was settled down with his bf and planning on proposing. Kano (mum friend) was thriving as a strong hero, fully independent, happily settled with her cats.
And Ecto and Higari had now been married for 5 years. They celebrated their 5th anniversary at the mountain lodge, along with their friends, and had a wonderful time.
The day after, while they were on their way back home, they all got a very urgent hero call to the area they were currently in. It was a high level intelligence escapee, who had an incredibly dangerous quirk. And he was tearing up the town. He had also planned it so that he went against Ecto, PL, Snipe and their friends in particular. That’s who he wanted to fight.
So, they all got ready, Snipe and Hiro sending their partners back home for safety. They all jumped into the crime scene and saw how much destruction this one person was causing. His quirk allowed him to create explosions with whatever he is holding/blow up what he is touching, the size of which depending on how much he’s used his quirk and how focused he was. He also had planted explosions in the buildings surrounding them.
He revealed that he was obsessed with the group of them as heroes, and how amazed he was by their skill and friendship - marvelling at how if pieces of each of them were taken and put together it would form the “Perfect Human”. And that’s where it all went wrong.
Higari was focusing on evacuation, Anka calling for back up, Nari calming the situation, and Ecto, Snipe, Kano + Hiro all standing against this one villain. They were all quite close together, since the area was small, but so much was going on. And so much happened so fast.
Hiro (mum friends twin) went to fight, his body fully morphed into water, and got hit by the villain. He stepped back and shrugged it off since he didn’t hurt him. But unfortunately that’s when a huge explosion happened, erupting from his body and blowing him away to where he could not be found or seen. The villain gleefully explained that he could only do that trick once, and that was the biggest explosion he could do.
After seeing this, everyone was horrified and Higari, Anka + Nari had now involved themselves in the main fight. Kano (mum friend) lunged forward in anger and shock and the villain grabbed both of her arms, causing them to explode and throwing her into a semi collapsed building, knocking her out.
The villain wasn’t stopping at any attacks, even though he was hurt and getting weaker with his quirk, he endured Ecto’s clones, Snipe’s bullets, Higari’s punches and attacks from the other conscious two. At this point, most of their costumes were ripped and torn, their helmets/visors shattered or completely discarded.
The villain then detonated an explosive that was sitting in the building besides them, causing it to explode and parts of the rubble went flying. Some rubble fell and crushed Nari, knocking him unconscious and burying him. While this happened, the villain had lunged towards Snipe and with rocks, debris and other stuff in his hand, he took him off guard and pressed it against his face, exploding it and pushing him to the floor - knocking him out too.
They were all running on fear, adrenaline, anger and every single other emotion. Anka was next, part of her leg caught under rubble, trying to lunge forward, uses her quirk but the villain used it against her and it backfired, exploding the rubble and part of her hand. More rubble fell and knocked her unconscious.
So it was just Higari and Ecto left. They were fighting for their lives, literally. Trying to protect their surroundings and civilians, as well as each other. The villain mentions how he felt that Higari was the weakest one, and that he didn’t need to worry about him, yet he was amazed by his intelligence and so that was what he was drawn to.
The villain ran towards Higari, arm outstretched to touch his face. Just as he was about to grab hold of Higari’s face (and most likely kill him with an explosion) Ecto kicked him in the jaw, and lunged at him, pushing Higari out of the way.
Ecto’s leg got caught in the villains hand, and out of anger, the villain exploded it, causing him to scream out in pain. He used the last of his strength to explode a blade that he had been using, after shoving it into Ecto’s other leg. This caused an explosion (not as big as the rest, yet since it was using a smaller object it was just as impactful) and Ecto was blown away to the side, crashing into another building. The villain then detonated the explosion in this building and caused rubble to fall on all of them, knocking Ecto out. Higari was badly hurt (both emotionally and physically) at this point, but adrenaline was keeping him going.
Higari was the only one left. The villain had exhausted his quirk. It was just a very very dangerous and difficult one on one battle. And Higari was furious, angry and crying from seeing his husband hurt trying to save him, and his friends all hurt around him. Dealing with the insults being thrown at him, but that obviously didn’t hurt as much as the rest.
He used everything. Support items to throw him off guard and give him a taste of his own explosive medicine, punches, throwing him around- he couldn’t go underground since they were in a built up area. He was also getting hit by blow after blow, the villain had not got any power left, but could still form tiny explosions that caused small amounts of damage (like the size of a small cut) and was using them all over Higari’s body, hitting him with all he had, exploding rocks and throwing them. Higari was getting unsteady at this point and had lost a lot of blood, and broken many parts of his body. He carried on though.
Back up had finally arrived, but they couldn’t get close enough because of the debris. And after a very long fight, and a lot of throwing around, Higari finally managed to knock the villain down. He was yelling and screaming in anguish and picked up rubble and threw it at the villain, and once he was down, he didn’t hesitate to just punch the shit out of him until he was fully knocked out. He almost kept going, but managed to stop himself.
He managed to stay awake and alert until police came to arrest and take in the villain. Just as medical aid was flooding onto the scene, he managed to crawl his way to where Ecto was laying, and after a few weak attempts to get him to wake up, he passed out himself.
And that was the end of the fight. The Incident™️. But it was most definitely not the end of the consequences and the pain they went through.
Hospital time!
Higari woke up, very confused and bandaged everywhere. Everything hurt and everything was too bright. After a lil bit of blank staring and trying to figure out what was going on, he finally remembered what had happened and started to panic. Where was Ecto? Where were his friends?? Was everyone okay? Why’s he stuck in this bed? He was panicking, but his main thought was to get to wherever Ecto was. (After asking a nurse, he learnt that they had been very conveniently placed next door to each other)
So like an absolute idiot, he ignores every nurse that’s trying to get him to stay in bed, he’s ignoring the excruciating pain in his back and in his leg and arm, and he is dragging himself to the next room.
Once he opens the door, he sees Ecto sitting up against the headrest, staring blankly at the wall. Ecto turns to the noise and his face softened a little when he saw his husband at the door. He managed a soft “oh thank god you’re okay” and watched as Higari barely managed to pick himself up (there was all sorts of bandages and things connected to him, he was just a huge mess- and well, so was Ecto.)
“Ecto- you’re awake, are you okay?” Higari’s voice scratched out as he left the safety of the door frame, still trying to swat away the nurses who were trying to get him back to his room.
Ecto still looked very disorientated, but gave him a soft smile. “You’re not supposed to be up, dear….you should be getting rest…”
Higari frowned and wobbled closer. “Oi…that don’t matter, I’m fine- I asked you….” His voice was barely there.
Ecto looked down and sighed. “I….don’t know…I’m alive….but, I’m far from fine…”
“That doesn’t reassure me, love, I-” Higari froze as he reached Ecto. He hadn’t been able to see from where he was standing, but now he could. Both of Ecto’s legs (as we know) were not there. “……..oh my god……..ecto……”
At this point, Ecto broke down and burst into sobs, letting his walls come down as Higari gently held him in a big hug, letting himself be vulnerable in his husband’s arms. He explained through tears that they couldn’t do anything, and that they couldn’t save what was left of his legs and so they had to amputate them. Higari simply let him cry and comforted him through his own tears.
After a lot of crying, words of self doubt and words of validation and love in return, Higari took a step back to let them both have a moment to breathe. However as he did this, he became dizzy and ended up passing out. Ecto was very concerned, but the nurses just said that it was because he hadn’t rested yet, and that he had to go and stay in his room now until he was fully healed and better. So they took him and the two of them rested separately.
Higari’s mum was incredibly worried, and came to see him immediately when she saw the news. There was a lot of crying, and mild scolding for making her worry so much. Ecto’s parents were there trying to support Ecto and they were heartbroken to see their son in this state.
Snipe woke up to his mother crying and visiting him, with his daughter. He wanted to know where his girlfriend was, but apparently in her words “it was too hard for her to see him like this” and so she wasn’t in the room; left their child with his mother instead. His face was fully bandaged up and his daughter was terrified of him, and it broke his heart.
A run down of what happened to everyone, and what injuries were sustained:
Ecto: head injury, both legs amputated.
Higari: broken back (luckily not too serious, but enough to cause issues), heavy blood loss, broken arm and leg.
Snipe: severely damaged and burnt side of face, damage to his throat and breathing, broken arm, head injury.
Nari (nice friend): broken back and neck, paralysed from the waist down.
Anka (firecracker): broken shoulder, lost half of her left hand and eye and left leg amputated.
Kano (mum friend): serious head injury, doesn’t wake up for a week, both arms amputated, impaled above the hip.
Hiro (mum friends twin): ….deceased.
And so that’s the list of injuries. They were all left physically and mentally scarred for so many years, carrying on still. Snipe and Higari had been advised to take it easy, and to return to hero work slowly, not fully resuming their work for another few years. Ecto, Kano + Anka got told to retire due to their injuries, and that they should just quit - but they refused to, and they continued to fight on and carry on as heroes (even tho not as regularly). Nari had to retire due to being unable to walk, and became a teacher in a hero school. And they were all grieving the loss of Hiro.
After about a week, Higari had recovered a lot and was helping Ecto with his recovery and trying his best to support him and the others. This is where Snipes lil bit comes in. It was a week after the incident and Snipe’s face was still very much bandaged up.
He was at home, his daughter asleep (like about 5 months old) and his gf was being argumentative. He was emotionally recovering from a massive incident and his friends death, but she kept on blaming him for things and being nasty. It all built up until this night and everything happened and the truth was spilt.
During an argument, she finally snapped and told him the truth. How she’d only been using him for the fame, attention and money. How she’d been cheating, and how she didn’t love him at all. She was just using him. And how she didn’t want their child, but she only had her because it was an opportunity for more money. She told him that now he was all scarred and ugly, and that because he had to take a break, it was to much for her and she knew it would mean that she wouldn’t be getting as much spotlight and money from him.
He was heartbroken. His world had just shattered. As he tried to ask or say something, she simply pushed him to the ground (hitting the side that was hurt already) and got up and left, taking her things and just storming out, never to come back.
And so he was left there, on the floor, crying and heartbroken. His daughter was now awake and crying from all the noise, and all he could do was just drag himself up to her and pick her up, cuddling his baby and crying with her, trying to comfort her but being unable to comfort himself. He instantly phoned Higari and Ecto, and within minutes they were already there. Despite being supposed to rest and stay at home, Ecto had made sure he came along, because there was no way he wasn’t going to be there to comfort his childhood friend.
They told the others, and over time they all ended up coming over and just coached him through his break up, and helped him grow his strength again. Looking after baby Aira with him, taking turns to look after her and look after him. (As well as themselves). He learnt to become a strong single father, and became much more emotionally strong than he had ever been - and he was an amazing father. He had the help of his friends too, who were the best aunts and uncles.
So, back to Higari and Ecto. Ecto had lost his legs, and Higari was with him every step of the way as he tried to regain his strength, and learnt to walk using prosthetics, helping him through his therapy and constantly reminding him that it was okay, and that he loved him so much and nothing would change that, and that he was so strong.
Over time, Higari had started to work even more in creating support items rather than on field. He started to design and create prosthetics for Ecto and for their friends, and helped to customise them for each of their needs/fighting styles/quirks. He was making amazing support items and using his skills to help others who really needed these items.
Ecto became strong enough to carry on working as a hero again, and fought against everything the public threw at him, everything that the hero commission said, and made it so that he returned to the public eye as a hero who would not be knocked down, and a hero who was determined and would persevere no matter what.
Eventually, Nezu reached out to Ecto, PL + Snipe, and offered them a place as teachers. They were a little hesitant at first, and the idea of going back to UA to teach was weird, however they ended up agreeing and they became teachers there. They ended up loving it, and realising that it was the best course for them. Especially after all they had been through.
They do end up going through more traumatic incidents, as most heroes do, and Higari had one that would stay with him for years to come.
On his patrol route, he would pass a children’s hospital and orphanage. There was a little group of kids who would hang outside and wait for him to pass by, and he would stop and play with them for a little bit. He grew really fond of these kids, but one day a villain attack happened, and by the time that Higari got to the site, he was too late and couldn’t save them. It broke him, and he was lost for weeks, unable to teach, unable to make things. Ecto was so worried for him, and wouldn’t leave his side, knowing how much it hurt him.
From this, Higari decided to use his hero status to start up charities, and to help orphanages and childrens hospitals, often visiting them, and creating items and toys for the kids there.
And that’s when, 4 years after The Incident™️, he found Yuna at one of these hospitals. And the two of them adopted her and became a family.
Years pass, and eventually we are at the canon timeline. They are still very happily married, and have their adopted daughter Yuna, who is 17 and attending UA. They are still working as heroes and as teachers, and they’re always making sure that each other are happy.
They go through many things together, hard times, emotional times, but they stand together through it all. And that’s all that matters.
They started off as simply two high school students who wanted to make friends, and they ended up living through so much together and building a life that they love.
They’re happy. And they’re very much in love. And that is all that matters.

And there you have it!!!!!! That was my ectoloader backstory!!! It was meant to be a summary, and it still kinda was……but yeah, I’m sorry it is long-
But I hope you enjoyed it and you like the backstory!!! It is something I’ve had as a hc for ages and finally writing it down is so so relieving. If you have any questions about it or anything, please do ask- I’d love to talk about more of the hcs I’ve mentioned in here.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were careful now, took precautions. You had a list of rules that you kept track of in your head, rules that kept you safe, rules that kept you sane. There weren’t many, but you clung to them nonetheless, let them be your mantra.
1. Never be alone in the same room. This one seemed easy. It was anything but.  Always hovering and clinging to your mom had annoyed her after a while, and your dad was almost never home. But you managed the best you could. If you were in the kitchen and heard Shinsou say hi to your mom as he came through the door, headed for the kitchen, you would abandon ship. Leaving half-prepared food on the counters had gotten you in trouble a couple times, but you’d rather get scolded for a minute or two than get cornered by your stepbrother.
2. Always lock your door. Your mom didn’t understand why you broke down in tears when she denied your request to get a lock on your bedroom door.  Thankfully, she backtracked, saying that if it was so important to you, dad would pick one up and install it that weekend. It made you feel better, even though you could never shake the feeling that you weren’t completely safe.
3. Don’t let him touch you. The most important of them all. No hugs, no high-fives. If you were sitting on the couch and Shinsou happened to sit next to you, you would immediately get up and move to a different seat. Your parents were oblivious, never questioned why.  At the dinner table you started sitting next to your dad, where mom usually sat, instead of next to your stepbrother. Once again, your parents didn’t notice, though your mom had commented on your more-sour-than-normal moods multiple times.
She picked up on your refusal to be around your brother, how your face twisted into a frown whenever he got home from working at the carwash, the way you stiffened and got defensive if he was in the room. She chalked it up to a fight, siblings being siblings.
You wish it had been that simple.
It had been a fight, sort-of. You had tried to playfully punch him at first, when he dragged you to his room without telling you why.  Shinsou probably just wanted to play video games or something, maybe he had gotten a new game and was excited about showing you?
But when he shut the door behind you two, he got rougher, grip tighter. He led you to the bed, asked you to sit down. You did. He asked you to suck him off, unbuckling his belt and pulling down the zipper of his jeans.
It was vague, you tried not to remember  the details. You had hit him, punched him straight in the stomach, rising to your feet. He wasn’t expecting you to kick him between the legs. You weren’t expecting for him to hit you back, the force of his slap making you lose your balance, totter back and sit down heavily on the bed, face burning red.  It hurt.
It didn’t stop hurting.
It hurt when he pulled your hair, guiding your mouth to his cock. You didn’t want to taste it, didn’t want anything to do with it. You didn’t like the smell, his pubes were scratchy on your face as he rubbed his cock over your face when you refused to part your lips.
It hurt when Shinsou got tired of that, when he shoved you onto your back and straddled your chest. You couldn’t breathe.
It hurt when he pinched your nose, forcing you to open your mouth or risk passing out.
Tears were clouding your vision by the time he finished,  lungs burning, heart hurting.
No matter how hard you tried to forget, the memory was still there, was always there; consuming, haunting you.
——
You could barely stand to look at him now.
The purple-haired man acted as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn’t forced his cock down your throat, as if he hadn’t violated your trust. You hated him.  He would try to talk to you, ask you how school was going or if you wanted to go hang out at the movies. If yours parents were in the room, you always gave him a curt “No”, but if it was just the two of you, Shinsou asking you through the locked door of your room, his questions were met with silence.  Your stepbrother didn’t deserve anything from you.
Weeks passed, with Shinsou trying to interact with you and your blatant refusal to even acknowledge his presence. He had tried to pull you into a hug one day, right after you had gotten home from class. You had just come through the door, turning to shuck off your shoes before heading up to your room when arms encircled your chest, pulling you back into a lithe body. It was suffocating.
The second you saw purple hair out of the corner of your eye, you were thrashing, twisting in your brother’s strong grip, wriggling out of his grasp.  He had let you go, and you turned, rounded on him like a wild animal - teeth bared, eyes full of fear.
Shinsou was silent, looking at you with an indiscernible emotion in his eyes. The both of you were frozen, staring at each other, daring one another to make the first move. Your brother reached out towards you, hand headed toward your hair as if to push the messy strands away from your face. You slapped his hand away with a flat “Don’t you fucking touch me.”, but your wrists were suddenly pressed together, Shinsou’s large hands trapping them in an iron grip, pulling you towards him before you had time to blink.
It was scary, pressed up against your brother, wrists immobilized, the man looking down at you with furrowed brows. Was he angry? He had no right to be.  Without thinking, you were biting on his arm, a exclamation of pain being cursed out by your brother. He let you go, cradling his arm to his chest and you bolted, taking the steps two at a time to reach the safety of your room. He didn’t try to touch you after that.
Shinsou lingered more often now. You knew the man would hesitate outside your door, hear his gentle, even footsteps falter, pause before moving on to his own room further down the hall. When you were drifting off to sleep, your doorknob would rattle quietly, clicking as it turned, as someone tried to open it. You knew it was Shinsou; your parents would knock and ask to come in. You were so grateful for the lock. Still, whenever the noise was heard, you froze, fear clenching your muscles and making you breathless. It was impossible to relax until the noise stopped, until you heard the soft sigh from the other side of the door, then retreating footsteps.
It was always hard to sleep after that. Why couldn’t he just leave you alone?
—— “Alright honey, you have our numbers, you know to call if anything comes up! I love you!”
You waved to your mom, biting your lip as you watched your parents pull out of the driveway, watched their car disappear down the road. They were going on a trip, something with your dad’s work.  Mom figured it would be a nice little getaway if she went with him, take some time just for the two of them. You knew she also figured that it would give you and your brother to work out whatever little ‘squabble’ that had seemed to sour your relationship. She had told you so,  told you that  she knew how siblings could be.
“You two just need to communicate, tell him what he said or did that has you so upset. He’s a rational guy, I’m sure he didn’t mean to make you angry with him. I’m sure the two of you can work it out.”
If only she knew.
You wanted to tell her. But how does one start a conversation like that? “Hey, just letting you know! Your son forced me to suck his dick! It was awful lol.” Just didn’t seem appropriate. Neither did “Your son scares the bejesus out of me! I’m afraid he’s going to rape me lol, please help haha!”.  You were so ashamed. And now you were going to be stuck with Shinsou, by yourself, for a full two weeks.
At least you still had school. You could stay in your room when you weren’t at school, maybe you could hang out at the library too? Anything to get out of the house, away from your brother.
Shinsou had work, and you knew the basics of his schedule. Knew he left before you woke up in the morning. Got back around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Was off Friday through Sunday.  It should be easy enough to avoid him. He was gone right now, it being mid-morning on a Monday.  Stepping back into the house, you took a deep breath, sinking down to a crouch after shutting the door. You could do this, stay safe, make it through the next two weeks without your parents around to act as a buffer between you and your brother.
—— You had just finished lunch, a simple affair of a crappy PB&J, and were sitting down to watch TV. There were some episodes of your favorite show that you wanted to catch up on, and now was the perfect time. Or, it would be if you didn’t hear keys rattling in the door.
A quick glance at the clock had you worried, the time being barely past 1. Shinsou wasn’t supposed to be home yet. Oh well, you figured you could just go hole up in your room, maybe work on homework or play computer games. As you turned off the TV, you heard the front door open, close, a soft grunt as Shinsou struggled to kick off his shoes.
Unfortunately, to get to the stairs you had to pass by the entryway, and the second you did, Shinsou noticed you.
“(Y/N), hey.”
You didn’t answer.
“I know you can hear me. Can I talk to you about something?”
He was following you up the steps, a menacing presence.  “Shouldn’t you be at work? Leave me alone.”  You were in the hallway now, socked feet padding softly as you quickened your pace.
“I’m getting two weeks off. I wanted to ask-“
“Why the hell are you getting two weeks off?”
You whirled around, bracing yourself in your doorway. If he tried to come in, you could slam the door in his face. But you wanted to know, why was he getting a vacation, especially now?
Shinsou had his hands in his pockets, looking off to the side as he shrugged. “I dunno…. Don’t really care either. But I was thinking, since mom and dad are gone-“
“I’m not doing anything, going anywhere, or talking to you. Stay the fuck away from me.”  You  cut him off, moving to shut the door, mind whirling as you tried to think how this impacted your ‘avoid-Shinsou-at-all-costs’ plan.
A foot stopped the door from closing, Shinsou grabbing the door with a hand and wrenching it open, out of your grasp. He looked frustrated, the small crease that showed up between his eyebrows when he was irritated was visible as you glanced at his face.
“Can you let me talk? You keep interrupting, it’s rude.”
“I don’t fucking care, let go of the door.” You grabbed the handle, tried to tug it shut. Shinsou wouldn’t let you.
“That’s another thing - you have such a dirty mouth. Didn’t anybody ever teach you that ladies shouldn’t swear? Your manners are atrocious.”
He was prying open the door, stepping inside, sneering down at you as he talked, voice low and full of venom. Small steps backward, you shot him a glare, staring into his stupid violet eyes. You hated him so much.
“Fuck off, what are you, an incel? Figures.  Now get the hell out of my room.”  Shinsou was scaring you, herding you further into your room. You wanted this conversation over, him gone, door closed and locked.
The man smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.  “Or what? You’ll call mom? Dad?” Shinsou scoffed. “As if they’d believe you.”
Your stomach dropped.
“Y’know, I really did just want to talk.” Shinsou continued, reaching behind him to swing the door shut, clicking the lock into place. You started breathing harder, short gasping breaths. “But you are just have to be difficult, don’t you? Always so disrespectful.”
He was stepping towards you, backing you up against your bed. This couldn’t be happening, you were starting to feel sick to your stomach, dizzy, unable to breathe.
“Shinsou, get out. Get the fuck out, right now.” You hoped you sounded less scared than you felt - but you knew your voice sounded small, could hear the waver of fear underneath each word.
“No. You’ve been avoiding me for weeks now, not saying hi, not letting me hug you, sit next to you.  I think you need to be taught some manners, need to learn a little respect.”
You were trapped now, legs pressed against your bed, Shinsou getting closer and closer. You couldn’t just sit there and take it like last time. A split-second decision and you were launching yourself to the side, trying to dodge around Shinsou, run to the door. If you could get out of the house, maybe you could convince your neighbors to let you stay with them.
Shinsou clotheslined you.
He fucking clotheslined you.
A choked yelp left your mouth as his arm slammed against your throat, the force causing you to stumble back, gripping at your throat. That was cheap. He was pushing you, shoving you onto your bed with almost no effort, his eyes boring into you, watching as your face turned red, eyes got puffy.
“Don’t make me hurt you, you know I can.”
“Shinsou don’t you fucking dar-“
“Shut up. Shut your stupid little mouth.” He cut you off, climbing onto your bed, hovering over you. He was breathing hard too, panting almost. “You need to be polite, be nice to your older brother. Stop cussing or else I’ll gag you, got it?”
Shinsou was grabbing your face, fingers digging into your jaw, the pressure too much for you to handle. There was no use fighting him. You nodded quickly, and he let go, leaning back. “Good. Now take off your shirt.”
Trying to think of a way out of this, you hesitated. The purple-haired man noticed. “Take off your shirt, or I’ll do it for you. Choose.”
With trembling hands, you removed your shirt. You hated him.
Shinsou was still sitting on his heels beside you on the bed, looking over your body, pleased. “Good girl. Now lay back, no no, don’t cover yourself. Lay down.”
You did as he asked, resting your back against the soft covers of your bed. You distantly realized you were going to have to throw out your bedding after this. There was no way you’d be able to sleep in it after this, even if you washed it.
Your brother stood, unbuckling his belt and shucking off his pants while you arranged yourself, and you looked away. You didn’t want to see him, see what he had between his legs. Yeah, It had been in your mouth, but you tried to forget about that.  It threw you off guard when hands hooked around the hem of your shorts, your head whipping up to see Shinsou fully nude, sliding down your shorts and panties in one fluid movement. You wanted to kick at his face, give him a black eye. You would, if you weren’t terrified of what he would do to you after.
The man climbed back on the bed, patted your face gently as he moved to straddle your abdomen. You closed your eyes before you caught sight of his dick.
“Shinsou, don’t do this. You can’t, I’m your sister. Please.” It was worth a shot, begging him to leave you alone, put his clothes back on and the two of you could pretend this never happened.
“Be quiet. Let me enjoy you and I’ll make you feel good too, alright?”
You flinched when you felt his hands (they were always so cold) grip your chest, push your tits together. When he spat on the space between them, you almost gagged. Eyes still closed, you could feel him position his dick, begin sliding it in-between your chest. It didn’t hurt, but your head did. You wanted to stop.
Shinsou groaned, thrusting picking up speed, his cock dragging smoothly between your tits like it belonged there. He was using his hands not only to squeeze your chest together, but to play with your nipples, running a finger or two around each one, occasionally flicking them. You wouldn’t allow yourself to admit it felt kinda good.
It didn’t take too long, Shinsou desperately humping against your chest and moaning, before warm cum was striped across your chest, some of it landing on your neck. He must’ve been pent up for while - when he made you suck him off he lasted much longer.  With a sigh, Shinsou shimmied down your body, noticing your flinch when his cock brushed against your stomach.
“I’m gonna clean you up, then we’ll play some more, don’t worry.”
You hated him.
Your eyes opened when you felt his tongue on your chest, and you realized with disgust that he was licking up his own cum, watching your face while he did so. It was filthy. You tried not to shiver when his tongue laved over your nipples, or when he latched onto your throat, sucking with a gentle intensity that made your insides tingle.
Before you had too much time to feel guilty about that, He was moving again, getting off of your body. Hopefully he was done? As he rearranged himself on his side, pulling you onto your side to face him, it was clear that he wasn’t. Shinsou had his semi-hard cock in your face, had his own face nudging towards your thighs, towards your trembling pussy.  This was so disgusting.
“Shin-“
He slapped your pussy.
You yelped when his hand came in contact with your cunt, making you buck away from the sensation. Well, at least, you tried to. His other hand had a firm grip on your thigh, kept you on your side facing him.
“What have I told you? Do I really need to shove something in your mouth to shut you up? Put me in your mouth, no teeth or I’ll do something you won’t like.”
With a frown, you obeyed, gingerly grabbing his cock and leading it to your mouth. You had seen a few dicks before, and luckily his wasn’t crazy thick, or long, or thin. Admittedly, he had a nice, normal dick, in perfect proportion with his lean body. You didn’t want to put it in your mouth, but you didn’t want anything to happen to your pussy.
His dick was wet with spit and cum from where he was fucking it against your chest, and you wanted to gag as you licked at the tip, shuddering when Shinsou groaned low in his throat. Before you could think about it too much, you shoved as much of him in your mouth as you could handle, wrapping your hand around the rest that couldn’t fit.
Shinsou’s hips bucked forward, and you almost did gag, not expecting it. But you regained your composure, began sucking gently at his dick like it was a ring-pop, cringing at the salty taste that lingered on the soft skin.
You could feel him lifting up your thigh, leaning forward. You jumped when His tongue began running over your pussy lips, slicking you up with his saliva. Your own hips twitched, trying to resist moving at the heavenly sensation of his tongue running through your folds.
He was moaning into your pussy, tongue fucking you. You could feel him smile whenever he coaxed a noise out of you - could feel the vibrations of each gasp or trembling moan on his dick as you did your best to suck him off. It was becoming increasingly hard to keep your hips still, much more so when his tongue slipped out of your opening and came to flick over your clit.
Embarrassingly, you almost screamed when he wrapped his lips around the little nub, sucking with vigor. It was too much, you had to draw your head back and let his dick slip out of your mouth to give you room to cry.
He kept humming while he sucked, and before you knew it, you were cumming, hands still clutched tightly against his dick while you trembled and wailed through your orgasm.  It took a moment for the aftershocks to leave you, before Shinsou relented in his talented licking and sucking. He drew back, sat up - his fully-hard dick slipped out of your hands. You hadn’t even realized you were still holding onto it.
“Felt good, yeah? What do we say when someone does something nice for us?”
Still trying to come down from cloud nine, you weren’t really listening. You came crashing back down to earth when Shinsou reached forward,  grabbed your jaw again, squeezing even tighter this time.
“What do we say? Tell me.” His was growling, irritated at your lack of manners. His grip was so tight that it hurt to open your mouth to reply, hurt to whisper out a stuttered “Thank you Shinsou.”. It hurt on the inside too.
Satisfied with you answer, your brother released your face, cooing as he again shifted on the bed. He grabbed you, flipped you onto your stomach, despite the way you whispered out soft “no, no, no.”’s as he did so.  You had hoped he would be done after he came on your chest, had hoped he would leave after making you reach your own orgasm.
He was kneeling behind you, grabbed one of your legs and lifted it into the air, twisting your lower body so your hips were sideways. Shinsou lined his cock up with your pussy, not even letting you breathe before he began pushing in. It didn’t hurt, but you were still sensitive from your previous orgasm. He was gentle at first, your brother fucking you with care and a gentleness that had you crying. Why was he doing this, any of it? Why couldn’t he find someone else, anyone else other than his sister?
It started hurting when his pace picked up, his hips grinding into you quickly, skin slapping together lewdly. You tried not to speak, tried not to let the gasps and moans and whimpers leave your lips. Shinsou was likewise quiet, enjoy the sounds of your lovemaking with his eyes closed. His hands were still so cold, gripping your leg and holding it in the air, the other wrapped around your hip, lifting you so his cock could hammer into you at the perfect height.
He was fucking into you so fast, you couldn’t think, could barely breathe. It was impossible to hold on to the disgust, the revulsion that crawled up your throat when you remembered who it was that was working your pussy so well. It felt good, his cock sliding through the wet of your pussy, the friction smooth and delicous and -
You whimpered as you came, hands clawing at the sheets, writhing in Shinsou’s hold.  Your brother didn’t stop, although he groaned when he felt your pussy clenching down on his cock, rhythmically massaging the length. Instead, Shinsou kept his fast pace, despite how you wailed and babbled and twitched, asking him to “Stop, stop! Shinsou, stop stop I can’t!”
“Remember what I said about manners?” His was panting hard, voice low. “You don’t get anything until you say please.”
“Please! Shinsou please, please stop! Please-“
He was still jackrabbiting into you, ruthlessly pounding you into the mattress. Was he listening? You had said please.
“Shinsou! Please oh please I can’t-“ With a disgruntled huff (he was hesitant to leave your tight warmth), Shinsou pulled out, dropping his hold on your lower body. Within seconds, he had his hands around his cock, stripping it furiously over you, eyes never leaving your sweaty, heaving form.
“Say “Thank you Shinso”. Say it. Tell me how grateful you are.”
“T-thank you Shinsou.” You sniffed, trying not to sob. You knew he wanted you to say more, but that was going to have to be good enough.
The man groaned, his hips humping his cock into his hand before he squeezed his eyes shut, and he then was cumming. It shot out of his cock and onto you, over your hip and the flesh of your backside, his hips still working.
When he was finished, Shinsou collapsed onto your bed next to you, breathing hard.
“(Y/N)….” HIs voice cracked. “(Y/N).” He tried again. “You’re…. That was really good. Thank you.”  He leaned towards you, placed a chaste kiss on your cheek. You shoved down the need to recoil from his touch.
You hated him.

I just want to start off by saying that this is probably something you wont read and will probably scroll past. I want one person and his friends (all of cc) to read this and know how much they have helped me.
I have had a horrible week even though it only just started.
It technically started last monday but the worst of it arrived yesterday.
Last week I had a surgery on my ear (I had a hole in my ear drum causing hearing loss)
After the surgery I woke up wearing this ugly stupid red headband that I could tell would get annoying.
People thought it was normal, fashionable until I said its from surgery.
First few days were fine, my sleeping schedule on the other hand not so great.
I slept all day and stayed up all night until I went back to school.
I tried to fix that but it got worse until I was awake for two whole days with 0 hours of sleep. Then the next day, the next, the next, until it got to the fifth day.
I have had 6 hours of sleep over the past 5 days. I googled insomnia because a few people said that I might have that.
Insomnia can occur from several things, those of mine would be depression and anxiety.
I am technically not a senior because I dont have enough credits to qualify in the state of Texas.
Thats already stressful. Comes the first day of school my teacher who has been helping me with my learning disabilities told me I would have to work my ass off to get those credits in only a few short months.
Professional communications, we must present a poem about color. I thought of my poem abd I thought it was great!
Red is the first color of the rainbow
Orange is an orange
Yellow as yellow as the banana bus
Green, well those are peas
Blue mens group and blues clues too!
Beautiful indigo night skies
Violet, now where is she?
The more you know
That was my poem.
Then I got scared and almost didn't present it but I did and the look the teacher had on her face made it clear, she didnt like it.
Those cause my stress.
My depression oh boy,
Being bullied because of what I look like. People staring and pointing at me before the laugh while going down the hall to our next class. Thats all im seeing. Judgement.
Boys. Oh lord, I told my crush how I felt. I wrote it on the notebook app on my phone.
I sent it to my two close friends so they can see it before I send it (all of us girls do that)
They told me to send it but I was honestly scared and kept thinking "he doesn't like you who are you kidding. You know whats gonna happen. Stop. Trying." But I sent it and was shaking because I was so scared. I have never been so honest to a guy like that before, its scary!
Being the mofo sweet thing he is he said he thought it was cute and sweet.
Since I didn't have the guts to ask him how he felt about that, I asked my friend Faith to ask him.
He thought it was sweet and cute that I was so up front and honest about how I felt towards him (those werent the exact words, I understood what he meant anyways." But then the next like read "but I dont like anyone at the moment."
That was not the response I was wanting.
He two of my friends felt bad and told me not to worry but all I said is that it has happened to me many times before and Im used to it by now. Truth is Im not.
This guy I like really is the nicest guys I know. He is in the cooler group of people unlike me yet he still listens and read my insanly long paragraphs of me venting, only to respond with something that will make me feel better. All these other guys at our school pretend to be nice at first and then unmask their true self. "Fuqbois" I honestly thought he wad going to be like that but he is still here helping me out today. He makes me laugh in class by being a doofus *no joke, actually pauses typing session to open his snapchat- and actually bringing Shelby, Samar, Faith and us closer together. Yeah it annoys me when he sends me selfies and not say anything or start a conversation and even when I try he just doesnt talk (heckin turd) but I mean hey, he still helps me.
I will admit I felt worthless and unwanted but my two friends, immediately started to message me telling me its okay and trying to cheer me up. It didnt work.
I couldnt talk to him, I was too embarrassed. I talked to my new friend Matthew and he was telling me his story about how he was nothing to what he is now, a huge fuckin ladies man, guys ask him how he did it. He really tried just as much as the girls did but it didnt work.
I talked to my friend L (I know your name Latrice, just want to hurry sorry boo). She immediately knew something wad wrong and tried to help. I decided I just wanted some time alone so I asked "when I get back, can you send me a bunch of pictures of my man Brett?" And she said she would.
I didnt really get any alone time as all my friends kept texting me but I didnt want them to know and start to worry. I only talked to a few of my older girlfriends (going back since 7th grade) Bailey and my other friend Dani (queen) and my friend who was also by my friend Sakib (he introudced me to bre my bitch ass dork), Kate and Sakib were always there when I needed someone or something. Since my freshman year. They graduated as class of 2017 at Central, leaving me and a bunch of us behind. Kate helped me feel better but we didnt talk much. Bre was acting like a mom, I said I was so embarrassed and she said it wasnt embarrassing. How is that not embarrassing? "Because I said so" she made me feel better a bit more.
Bailey, she said I should respect that about him and I agreed. I said I hated couples besides her and her boyfriend Cody.
Her- I wish Cody had friends, I would set you up
Me- me too WAIT OMG "I wish Cody had friends" THE SHADE IS FEELING NICE OVER HERE!
Dani, my beautiful Queen oh my goodness! You already went through a horrible loss today and I wasnt there for you like I should have. I told her I always mess things up and ruin everything. -again gets on snapchat because Erick the cuck asked me a quetion and I answered and then he like died or something, gets distracted amd realizes that Jakob from cc opened my message and then gets on instagram to tell L and let her know Im still writing this, remembers Jakob, freaks out again, looks at notifcations and sees that my famdog Matt (super awesome one I talked about) changed his profile picture so I go check it out realized I was supposed to be typing this and comes back here to remember I need to go to the conversation I had with Dani earlier to put her quote- "its just people who need to learn to see whats so great and its right in front of them." That made me feel better.
I go back to instagram and ask for the pictures of Brett. They instantly make me smile. I dm her because I can connect with her on a certain level with certain things, I tell her I sent a note to Jakob and that I hope he reads it. I took a screenshot and sent to L who said it was so sweet. While typing that letter to Jakob, I had realized the reason Im still here and who I am now than who I was just two weeks ago and I began to cry. I had just realized that Brett has made me smile so much and made me laugh and giggle. He may not know it but he saved my life. Im in a group chat with L and Sam. The chat is called the Slaughter Club. We had met from a post Sam had put up saying she wants to make a gc with a bunch of cc fans and just have an awesome time. Im so glad I hit that comment button and asked to be in the group. Over a day after, we realized I was the oldest, Sam being the youngest and we kinda let her choose lol. Brett is the older one of the group, I was called the Brett of sc. Trevor being the youngest of cc, Sam being the Trevor of sc, L, she chose Aleks. So Aleks of sc she was. They would get great pictures of the guy of cc and I never saw good ones so I asked where, they brought me here. Since being in this group chat and being the adult in certain situations (also weird fact, whenever Im not there, shit happens like idek. Same with Brett with cc.) Brett has inspired me in so many ways and I know I will never have the chance to ever in any way tell him, this is how Im telling him how he saved me. Really, all I want is that the Cow Chop crew read this and know how much they mean to me. I have a feeling that I know they will never see this (especially Brett) but Im going to put this out there in the hopes he will. Thats what I want from this. I know its all stupid but the CC crew really have brought together an amazing group of friends who I love so much and want to thank for always being there. Thank you. -Caroline Hope Powell
