There are so many beautiful things about Last Twilight as a production; the script, the acting, the cinematography, the wardrobe, etc. but can I take a moment to gush about the music?
This show legitimately has one of the best soundtracks of any show in any language I've ever experienced. Blame the Stars is maybe the best Jimmy has ever sounded. One Palm Distance by Satang Kittiphop is romantic and ethereal. Last Twilight by William Jakrapatr (whom I've never heard of before now but goddamn can that man sing) is powerful and emotional and encapsulates the show perfectly. The OST always gives me chills and I get so swept up in the background music that I often have to rewind the scene because I missed what was happening in the story!
This show is beautiful all around, but the musical score might be my favourite part.

The way this show keeps changing my mind. (Or maybe just new questions popped everytime I did a rewatch). At this point I'm more interested to see how it will unfold each of the compartmentalized stories to come into one final blow. For once, I'd like to feel not being able to use the phrase, "well, I could see it that way."
Which secrets will stay secrets, and which ones will be (finally) revealed. Who's gonna be crowned the most manipulative, and who's the real chess player of all. Or, who's gonna break the board (if ever needed). As for the ships, I am good with whatever end they'll have for each of them. Am I?

like yes yes eddie needs to choose and buck needs to be chosen but also
Eddie needs to get over the very big trauma of losing his wife. Last time he dated someone he had literal panic attacks at the thought of her being mistaken for Chris’s mother and as much as we saw him work through in therapy we never?? really?? talked?? about?? that?? So, yeah, Eddie needs to realize that he’s at a point where he’s ready to risk his heart and give love a second chance
(and maybe realize he already did becase there already is a partner in his life who gets consistently confused for Chris’s guardian and it feels natural to him?? but he still needs to realize he’s ready for love)
And Buck needs to be ready to be in a relationship where he’s loved for who he is, where he doesn’t bend and twist to fit someone else’s expectations. And for that Buck needed to die, and needed to come back, and now he needs to process that trauma and steady himself.
(and Buck loves so quickly, so openly, so loudly, and he gives so much of himself and he wants to be loved that way, and maybe he’ll realize that he already?? is?? loved?? but he needs to let himself accept it)
so basically, it’s not only a matter of choice... eddie needs to be ready to love and buck needs to accept that he is loved if they are ever going to find each other properly together
and that, my funny little friends, is the point of their arcs were we are at right now

You know, we see a lot of Danny absolutely wrecking the Joker but what if he didn't? What if what happened with Freakshow still lingers? What if Danny post adoption is absolutely terrified of this clown and Joker seeing that this boy has a worse reaction to him compared to most people and eats it up?
I wanna see a Joker who makes it his life mission to traumatize the newest Wayne. A batfam who's terrified the Clown Prince of Crime will hurt yet another family member. A Danny who sees Joker and instantly thinks of what might happen if he loses control again. Of who he might hurt this time.

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*

how wild if you could go back and shake the shoulders of your past self about to click and watch the dragon prince for the first time and tell her that your entire world was about to be changed and turned on its axis 😆
and tell her that a little cartoon elf girl and human boy were going to have you firmly in their clutches for years to come 😂
Listen, I think if I told my past self the wild ride this show would take me on, there is no way past me would believe it.
I've made so many wonderful friends from all over the globe through this show. I've written well over a million words, got back into drawing, taken up embroidery, started collecting frogs...
I lurked in pretty much every other fandom I've been in before TDP, but this fandom (on Tumblr especially) is so welcoming and supportive. I've genuinely made some truly amazing friends, and it sort of blows my mind how that might never have happened if not for TDP.
All these weird and wonderful things have happened in my life because of dragons and elves and magic.
How awesome is that?
