I’m going to rant. I’m going to rant so much because Secret Invasion was so awful.
I really was hoping this would be a grounded, Winter-Soldier-style show. I mean, they keep getting these A-list actors to do this! They got Olivia Coleman! After she got an Oscar! I understand if five years ago, every actor in Hollywood wanted in, but now? Honestly, if I were one of them, I would get as far away as possible. This is a sinking ship. Especially because the MCU gives almost no information about the characters before hiring them. But what ends up happenning is that once they’re committed, they realize the shitty script they have to do. Isn’t one of SAG-AFTRA proposals is to let actors have information about a role/project at the time of audition? And it was rejected?
I saw an interview from the actor who plays Gravik and I was very upset because he was very apathetic. But after seeing what he had to work with, I get him. Again, he probably had no idea of the script but trust Marvel and he shouldn’t have. His evil monologue at the end! 😖 And it’s so frustrating because in the Barbie movie, he’s lovely! He could have been a very charismatic villain with a good script and director.
Olivia did a great job. But I doubt we’re going to see her again. She said she wanted to be in the MCU no matter what, but she deserved a better project.
Unfortunately, Giah has no personality. Even in the show, who cared about her? Talos loved her of course, but she turned against him for an organization who didn’t give a shit about her. She had no authority there. When she got killed, who cared? And she’s a terrtorist. She didn’t stop the explosions, which no one ever mentioned again, btw. Let’s pray, the low ratings make Marvel forget about her. Don’t tell me Emilia Clarke didn’t think this was worse that s8 of GOT? At least that one had 7 good seasons before that. This was bad from start to end.
AND, she stole those superpowers. Didn’t we have a whole Agent Carter season about Howard Stark keeping Steve’s blood and how inmoral that was? And now Nick Fury did the same to everyone!!! What the hell was his plan? Clone them? Are the avengers ever gonna learn about this? What about the Black Panther. It was on the list. But those powers are attached to Wakanda. Like, what did we have Wakanda Forever for? T’Challa and Shuri had to go through a whole ritual, they went to see their ancestors!!! The powers are not the most important part of the character. There can be ten heroes with superstrength, but it is the backstory and the personality what makes each of them special.
I get a similar feeling from the revelation that Rhodey has been a Skrull since Civil War. Because now, all those heartfell moments mean absolutely nothing.
Does Feige honestly believe that people are going to be happy with the show just because of that final fight scene? I really think so. At this point, Marvel thinks that of they make a CGI fight with lots of superpowers, everyone will love a show/movie, even if they promised something else. Talk about being in denial.
I don’t even think Maria was fridged because no one cared. Her death meant nothing to the overall plot and to the characters.
Fury being married was an interesting idea (actually I think this is the kind of attention that Clint and Laura should have had in Hawkeye), but it’s not enough to save the show. And, I want to believe Clint knew about them. But the MCU doesn’t keep relationships anymore. And then I remember that Fury turned out to be a horrible person whose morals are all fucked up. He uses people, literally takes their blood for his own plans, abandons his wife, doesn’t keep his word, leaves his friend’s corpse behind, and now he’s not even a good spy.
Also, how are all those people not dying of radiation poisoning? I have no scientific knowledge on this, but they spent years in Chernobyl. Surely they should have cancer in the near future, at least. They showed how dangerous it still is!
And I’m not even going to get too deep into the budget, but someone is definitely doing some serious money laudering there. GOT had only $15 million per episode in the last season and the had dragons and White Walkers. How is a 212 million budget not enough to give a realistic depiction of an attack on the US president! I had no idea that their economy was so bad that the president can’t even afford a proper security team. His gabinet is somewhere? Seeing how the female secretary was treated, I’m not suprised if no one showed up!

your post abt sexualizing the emh characters and actors was based but lets be real we all skipped the princeton tapes anyway
Im going to be so upfront rn. and don't take any offense I'm not mad or anything but I'm definitely gonna get heated HELP.
I listen to the Princeton tapes almost everyday, I revisit the transcripts often when I want easy access to the dialogue. The Princeton tapes might actually be my favorite part of the everymanHYBRID lore. It's so important to everything you need to know for the whole series and it helps explain so much, especially when it comes to vinnie as character.
the Princeton tapes have so much to offer and I think it's such a shame that this fandom chooses to ignore all the effort that the everymanHYBRID guys put into this series. The Princeton tapes has never failed to make me emotional HELP. it's beautiful shit. So I'm so sorry anon I literally cannot agree with this at all because the Princeton tapes are my absolute everything. I genuinely relate to Princeton Vinnie (& also Roger) more than I might relate to anyone on the channel. They're so real, and I wish more than anything they were more than tapes but at the same time I love it so much it's so perfect.
Also while during my most recent rewatch I've realized that in the series HABIT himself will use quote's and shit that Princeton Vinnie himself has said.
This one always sticks out to me, because it feels like habit pulled those words RIGHT out of Vinnies mouth only to in turn use them on him. Of course the Lexi video predates when the tapes came out, but canonically the tapes happened WAYYYYY before this, considering it takes place in the late 80s.
this goes with my idea that HABIT himself has probably had access to those tapes (atleast at some point) and he did he's research on Mr everyman here. but that one is just my personal opinion and I don't expect people to agree.
While people think that the Princeton tapes are daunting and take too long, they're literally shorter than emh as a whole series if ur watching the right shit.
Tumblr media
these videos are basically the full in depth EMH lore and it has videos in it that long since been deleted.
If you're getting into everymanHYBRID and you're not getting into all the lore and then you're gonna go an act like you know everything it's genuinely so??? because you're literally missing out on KEY information.
like did you guys know habit IS in the tapes 😱😱⁉️⁉️⁉️ did you WATCH finding fairmount all the way through????
did you know Evan and Jeff are there ⁉️⁉️⁉️
ALSO ??? PATRICK FROM MLANDERSEN0?????? DUDE???? HES IN THERE. THE RAKE FUCKING TALKS TO VINNIE IN THERE.
did you know that EVEN VINNIES DEAD FUCKING GIRLFRIEND LEXI IS THERE. IT HAS SO MUCH INFO. YOU LEARN WAY MORE SHIT ABOUT FAIRMOUNT AND THE MINETOWN FOUR IN IT. IM GENUINELY SO AT A LOSS RN. HELP IM TOO AUTISTIC FOR THIS ASK. BECAUSE IN NO WORLD WOULD I EVER DREAM OF SKIPPING THE TAPES.

Repeating on a theme on Seven's Borg implants (read here for previous posts)
Because I'm still obsessed with Seven's Borg tech and how much of her is organic. Supposedly EMH took out 82% of Seven's Borg tech and took out many over the years Seven still has a lot of working Borg tech and nanoprobes more than other xB around.
One thing I just noticed from Equinox, part 2 is how we see Seven's ocular implant without the casing:
Tumblr media
This is where it makes it so obvious that Seven's head is mostly metal because that is a skin cut out showing what's underneath that skin. Also that there are various lights under there we didn't know about.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at how shiny Seven's metallic skull is without skin.
Tumblr media
The configuration of Seven's head is mostly just metal.
In this Picard s2 prop - this Borg skull only has a fraction of what Seven has underneath her skin:
Tumblr media
Seven's entire cranium is made of metal.
That is why when Narissa bashed Seven's head on the console Seven didn’t lose consciousness and only made Seven a little dizzy, and pissed her off more tbh.
An organic person would've had a concussion and maybe even died.
I wonder if Seven looks like a Terminator beneath the skin.
(This is brought to you by having just rewatched Terminator 1 & 2).
Because as we saw in Imperfections scratch the skin underneath and she seems to have metal exoskeleton as implants.
Tumblr media
Speaking of further body horror-- Even when the Borg deadened Seven’s nerve endings, Seven still felt the pain of having her occipital ocular installed:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During or after her procedure, even with all the precautions that the body wouldn't feel a thing, Seven remembered feeling the pain. (It makes me wonder if Unimatrix!Annika felt the pain or it was something she could block out).
A fan theory I subscribe to posited that Seven is a Borg Queen candidate.
This would go a long way explaining why Seven has some form of individual identity and why the Borg Queen has a special interest re: Seven.
Aside from being assimilated at a young age, this would also account for the number of implants in her system.
Even among her own unimatrix, she was the one calling the shots and enforcing the Borg rules.
All the Borg Queens we've seen only have their heads and upper torso.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seven might have been on her way to a similar fate. Her spine's already reinforced.
Tumblr media
I'm pretty sure one or both of Seven's legs from the knee down are prosthetic legs ala Edward Elric.
(Also there was a VOY writer who seemed keen on blowing up Seven's legs -- the first version of The Raven has Seven becoming a terminator and to stop her the crew apparently needed to blow up her legs, and she had to crawl her way to Janeway—thankfully someone in the writer’s room said “WTF??”, Because WTF???I'm so glad someone went: No, dude).
Tumblr media
As possible evidence that one or both of Seven’s legs are prosthetics: when she was unconscious during The Gift we can see there are wires on Seven's left kneecap.
And I don't know if that shin armor is exoplating or if prostheses have replaced her legs.
There's so much about Seven we don't really know about and I really want to know more about her functional Borg components and to settle, once and for all, if by Picard's time, she still needs to regenerate.
I'm on the camp that Seven still needs to regenerate.

These are one of the few Slenderverse ive watched that no one really talks about or have zero content
Posting this mostly cause
1. I wanna see more content about them and more people talking about them
2. To feed the starved people like me for new Slenderverse content
(Series like MH, EMH, T12 etc will be tagged but only so more people can see this)
Hollowhemlocks
It follows our protagonist named Jesse, who started at first as a hiking tips channel. After the unexpected death of his friend, Adam, things take a spiral for the worst.
I fucking love this series so much and it's still ongoing so if you wanna feel the thrill of keeping up with a Slenderverse this it.
ICANSEETHEGIANT
To be honest I do find it kinda hard to explain but basically. The Teacher is a mysterious entity that runs the channel with the purpose of giving riddles to its students and teaching them Aesop's fables. As the series progresses though we get a more prominent protagonist named Mitchell.
That's all I'm sharing, go watch it. It's good and the Teacher is such a criminally underrated character. Also it is connected to Stan Frederick. Plan to rewatch it soon.
One Hundred Yard Stare
Young girl named Ellie and her friends start getting stalked by Slenderman, yet it seems like it's not her first rodeo. They are also stalked by a guy with a gas mask that does not have nice intentions.
One of the few Slenderverses with female protagonists, I absolutely loved the direction they went with it. The few twists there somehow caught me on rewatch since i watched it in 2020.
Afraidathome
A young man named Kyle starts hearing weird noises in his walls as he tries to figure out why this happens.
I loved this series as i recently finished it but it can get a bit confusing. I recommend checking the Tumblr and Twitter for better context but trust me it's sure to be a ride.
Stateofamadman
Guy named Cole starts hearing weird knocking at his door so he makes a channel to record whatever the fuck is going on when an unknown J.W. walks in.
Another ongoing one from what I know. I honestly don't have much else to say. I just like Cole as a character really.
There is more but i will probably make a part 2 once I'm done rewatching them or finishing them so yeah that's all for now lolz

I feel like a dip shit you guys.
(TW: Nazism, antisemitism, Rape)
I've been a EverymanHybrid fan since middle school, but it was one of those interests where I wasn't incredibly invested in knowing and categorizing all of it's lore and shit like how I usually am. It was like a passive interest that I would occasionally think about. I loved ARGS and unfiction, Marble Hornets was my favorite YouTube series so of course I watched EMH.
Recently, I've been inspired by a lot of horror and I'm in my final semester of college, so I'm doing my art capstone with horror inspiration. Which means I wanted to watch EMH to get the metaphors, plot points, and characters fresh in my mind.
So I'm fucking rewatching nightminds videos about it and actually paying attention this time and holy shit, why is there so much Nazism in EMH?
Since i was a passive viewer, i didn't really pay much attention to the actual plot of EMH. Hell, i didn't even watch the series in its entirely by myself with 100% concentration. So rewatching nightminds videos and looking at everything I'm just shellshocked. The summoning pose? His posts on canyouseethewords? Habit raping that woman?? Like Jesus Christ?????
I wish more fans didn't sweep this stuff under the rug, even the "i was past serial killers" shit. its just.. so unnecessary
Villain characters are my FAVORITE. I love villains who are charismatic and funny, but i feel like the fans tend to overshadow the Nazism in favor of his 'charm'.
This isn't a call out post or anything, Evan is such a phenomenal actor and the cast is great but ??????
now i gotta go back and actually read on Marble Hornets Slenderman lore. im so tired of this Nazi shit
What do you guys think about this? I'd like to know everyone's thoughts

Cactus, daffodil, Jasmine!
yknow this is kind of funny because I didn't actually reblog the ask game before you sent this anon. I just liked the post from my moot and sent them some asks from it, so i know who you are and ty for the support LMAO but i wasn't actually planning on reblogging it
but i've done it now soooo i will answer these asks anyway
cactus - something you're currently learning (about?)
hm well right now I'm taking summer classes so I guess you could say I'm learning about oscillations and wavelengths and all that jazz. I hate it but, y'know, I'm doing it! physics sucks ass btw
daffodil - do you have siblings? if yes, in what ways do you think you’re similar to or different from them?
nope, no siblings! only child right here :)
jasmine - do you have a movie or book you loved but will never watch/read again?
ohhhhh this one is a hard one because I definitely do, but it's so hard to figure out which things I'm never going to reread/rewatch because I really love rewatching/rereading stuff. hm, this is kind of a strange one, but everymanhybrid on youtube is a horror series that I really really loved but I don't think I'm ever gonna rewatch, at least not in its entirety. Not because it was too scary or anything, but because it's long as fuck and also extremely confusing. you have to keep up with so many different forms of media (the youtube videos are a part of it but you have to keep up with multiple twitter accounts to understand wtf is going on in the story), so it's just tiring to try and pull everything up and go back through all of it at once. I've definitely rewatched the nightmind explained videos on it since it does a good job summarizing everything, but I've only gone through the full gamut of it once and I don't think I'm ever gonna do that again
(highly recommend emh if you are interested in obscure youtube homemade horror. REALLY great acting and a super complicated storyline, but also it's confusing as hell to get into)
ask game!

i think i need to exorcize all my Thoughts about analog horror and how its shittybad out of my brain so here we go.
It's bad! Okay okay that lacks all nuance and unfairly tears down the analog horror series out there that are good. That I'm sure exist somewhere, but I haven't found em. I think the main issue for me is how absolutely boring they are if you aren't scared. And it's hard to be scared, because it basically amounts to VHS noises and spooky images. Oh yes I am very terrified of um... Guy with a weird face accompanied by a music sting. Gonna have nightmares tonight! I'm sure this scares some people but I'm not easily scared and the tension built up by these series is abysmal, mostly because of other issues I also want to talk about. The main issue is that I have nothing to be scared for. I know the scary thing isn't real because it's always supernatural, and I can compartmentalize things and know that the nefarious anglerfish is not going to come kill me in my sleep. So, like, who cares?
"but tim you got genuinely scared by emh multiple times and that has a supernatural antagonist" yes! because there were CHARACTERS! I cannot comprehend dedicating so much of my life to a story with zero characters. Sure there might be Named Entities but I watched most of the mandela catalogue before i dropped it and i cannot name a singular character. nobody is posting about the artful writing of that backrooms series. Nowadays the webseries game is all about LORE (insert matpat here) and coming up with a new way for the world to be fucked up. Bonus, these fucked up worlds are also not interesting enough for me to want to keep watching because we're drip fed literally everything. You're hinging your story's interest on the lore and then you give me nothing and expect me to stay interested? You cannot seriously expect me to sit through a video that's a glorified spooky powerpoint (with VHS filter!). No, introducing a new monster isn't lore development if it's basically a reskin of the last one. We need to get information on the causes of the spooky monsters and the underlying rules of the world, but I highly fucking doubt any of these people consider that.
The story won't move, no new lore ever drops, there's no characters to be interested in why should i give a SINGLE SHIT about any analog horror series at all. No sir, not getting out of this chair! But the biggest problem is that it's crowded out everything else in the webseries zone. We're just not getting shit like we used to get, with characters and live action and silly college students. I think partially it's because everyone's too scared to fuck up, youtube has Standards now and you need to look Professional. So everyone just does the professional-looking analog horror instead of fucking around with the boys. It fucking sucks because if you want to watch a new webseries and you don't want a boring powerpoint, you are literally just out of luck. Go rewatch the old shit is pretty much your only option. And it's just going to keep happening because people only come out and criticize analog horror when it doesn't meet their morality standards

explore stupid nebulas, win stupid prizes (Cathexis, s1 e13)
Oh boy, this is a pretty stinky episode in my opinion, but we get to talk about Janeway's hair some more, so there's that.
We start with Janeway's gothic holonovel! Jeri Taylor was responsible for introducing this storyline, and I see what she was going for, but the problem is that the holonovel is very boring and not terribly credible as a leisure activity for our overworked and underpaid captain. I'm so very confused about Lord Burleigh, who ought to have at least an edge of Byronic charm but is giving us nothing to work with. Of course it is Star Trek and genuine on-purpose sex appeal is hard to pull off.
We do get the first interaction that one could, if you really squint, call sapphic (on the logic that, in a post-Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca world, all interactions between governesses and housekeepers are inherently psychosexual).
Tumblr media
I do not love a Victorian gown but Janeway's hairdo is pretty fun! This woman has so much hair and it's hard to imagine her styling it reliably without some help. My head canon is that Voyager has a holographic barber and Janeway regularly heads down to the holodeck when her coif needs coiffing.
Speaking of the coif, she has a more streamlined version of the French twist from the last episode. It's still better than her usual but a bit awkward and helmet-y. Again, I just think that an undercut (or even a pixie cut) is the solution they're looking for. Her poor hair stylists.
Tumblr media
The rest of the episode is, appropriately, a ghost story. (It's gothic, geddit?) I guess it's an okay plot - people are getting possessed, someone is lying, there's a ghost cam POV, nothing adds up. For me it lacked stakes and suspense, especially on a rewatch. During most of the episode we just have a general vibe of "something is up"; without substantial more clues, it's hard to feel like we're solving the mystery alongside the characters.
Oh boy, the medicine wheel! I don't feel like I have any business trying to make sense of what's going on here, beyond the fact that the medicine wheel they're portraying seems to have more in common with appropriated New Age practices than Indigenous / Pan-Indian beliefs (and, of course, Chakotay doesn't have a tribe so it's impossible to say what's "correct" for this character).
Also, the whole conceit of "character has a religious practice; science fiction stuff happens that superficially resembles, but does not actually have anything to do with, this religious practice," feels pretty wonky, especially in this case. Once again Chakotay's culture is instrumentalized for the sake of the plot.
I did think it was an interesting touch that the Doctor is knowledgeable about Indigenous medicine. I like this, but it's such a can of worms! The Doctor is able to provide culturally-informed care, but he's still programmed by / presenting as a white guy; I feel there's a tacit implication that inclusive medicine is when white people learn about non-white practices. What if Starfleet vessels had Indigenous holograms programmed by Indigenous people? Or if the EMH had subroutines that adapted his presentation, knowledge, and practices to any patient? What would it mean to decolonize AI, both in our world and in science fiction?
My notes from the scene where Chakotay finally wakes up - "All Doctor wants to do is to write papers, all Janeway wants us to touch her crew inappropriately." Girl, get your hands off that man's chest! Janeway's wandering hands are an iconic part of her performance, and of course good acting often benefits from more physical proximity than would be appropriate in real life, but you are his boss, ma'am.
Yeah, sorry, this one did truly nothing for me. 1.5/5 vaguely racist musical flute cues.

6 (and you can't say eggman!dukat), 11, 15, 26, 31, 50
6. Favorite Villain
So I think in the past I answered a similar question with Kai Winn, and she IS a damn good villain with a lot of depth (especially compared to other Trek villains). But in the spirit of honesty, given how many times I watched First Contact and "Dark Frontier" from Voyager in the mean time... I'm going to have to admit it's the Borg Queen. I'm not immune to scary cyborg lady who tries to seduce people into joining her horrible cult where you're never alone and you can lose yourself into billions of screaming voices...
11. Favorite Dynamic
I like that this question doesn't necessarily have to be about ships. The first answer that comes to mind is the dynamic between the current Dax host with its (immediate) predecessors. In many ways both Jadzia and Ezri live haunted lives, where the consequences of decisions they had no say in keep coming back to hinder them, and they both have to deal with a past that doesn't entirely belong to them. I could say that Trill is simply my favorite Trek aliens species but to be honest I think it's the *Dax hosts* dynamic in particular the thing I keep coming back to, again and again.
15. Favorite Doctor
This is a simple question and yet I find it hard to answer it! I either kinda dislike the doctors (Bones & EMH) or have really no strong feeling about them even if I appreciate their presence (everyone else). Like even a wacky character like T'Ana on Lower Decks doesn't really do much for me?? I suppose that Julian is the doctor I know best, but he's not my favorite, either (sorry?)
(I think once long ago I answered this question by posting a picture of Doctor Selar so it's an ongoing issue for me lol)
26. Favorite time travel or holodeck episode
ough another tough one... for time travel I think it's either "Past Tense" or the one with the whales, tho I know the latter isn't an episode. For the holodeck episode I'm going with a niche answer with "Heroes and Demons" from the first season of Voyager lmao (though if you ask me tomorrow I'll say a different one!)
31. Favorite two-parter
Oh no another difficult question. I've already said "Past Tense" above, plus I have rewatched "The Way of the Warrior" and "Dark Frontier" from Voyager so many, many times, even if as episodes they have LITERALLY opposite vibes. Idk I really can't choose among these
50. Favorite thing about Star Trek
The characters, the time the shows dedicate to exploring problems of identity and selfhood with them, and the relationships between those characters. I'm not really an enthusiastic subscriber of Trek's idea of the future (I'm more in the camp of those who see it as an interesting mirror of the times the shows were made in), but the parts of Trek that I love the most are about people being people in unfamiliar (even wildly absurd!) situations. I've seen many people say that Trek tries to answer questions that nobody ever thought to ask, but honestly is life less absurd than Trek? Sometimes I doubt it. Seeing the characters just live through their wacky, sometimes very dangerous, hijinks, change because of them and getting to know one another more... it's one of the best, most hopeful parts of this franchise, if you ask me.

I'm rewatching Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes which I think has the coolest friendship dynamic between Clint and Hulk And so I wanted to know if you had any hdc to share about this strange and incredible friendship, I will really loved it! Thank you so much
God I love EMH so much. It was my favourite thing when I was younger and I’d memorize what time it was on specifically so I could watch Clint and Natasha. My crush on Natasha Romanoff was visible from the stars.
Clint and Hulk are the best friendship in EMH, if you ask me. They’re snarky and silly and just very comfortable around each other, which is probably new for Hulk because no one else is going to just elbow in and steal his food.
I love the idea of Hulk grumbling about the annoying bird he’s acquired but god forbid anyone wake up Clint while he’s passed out on Hulk’s lap. (They’ve also figured out that this is an excellent way of making sure Hulk stays still, but then Hulk got wise to that and discovered Clint will stay asleep even if Hulk scoops him up and runs off for some peace.) I think about movie nights and sitting on industrial-strength rooftops and just. Wholesome.
(Hulk looks like the dangerous one but if anyone is mean to him they immediately end up with an arrow in their ass.)

I'm having way too much fun reading your reactiona while you watch EMH! I'm really thinking about rewatching it all over again lmao
Honestly this shit is a roller coaster.
There’s a demon dog.
There’s an angery boi that I think is possessed rn?
And someone just tried to commit suicide?
I have no clue what’s going on. But that’s not stopping me!

OH BOY
So, since it's been... just about a year since EverymanHYBRID ended I've decided to do a little somethin' somethin' to honor the series. But for starters, I wanted to kinda give a little explanation as to why EMH means so much to me.
I practically grew up with EMH. When the ARG came out I was just about entering middle school and lets be honest, middle school for everyone is the most awkward fucking time of our lives. I was a little bisexual goth who didn't have too many people there for her so I just turned to the internet.
I had already known of Marble Hornets, having watching it all the way to whatever point they were at by the time EMH came out and I fucking loved it. I love anything spooky and paranormal even if it's all fake and MH was just what I needed. Then EMH came out and at first I wasn't really interested. A channel dedicated to showing people how to work out and eat right at an affordable price? Well, I need something like that not but back then I didn't care. Then the video Public Service Announcement came out and I was actually a little impressed. Doing the same thing that a few had tried and failed at only SUCCESSFULLY and making me believe that this universe could actually exist? That was impossible for me.
So I went back and rewatched everything, noticing small things that... since I hadn't watched it before but I saw Public Service Announcement I knew to look for. Like Slenderman in the background of multiple videos, the scene in Evan's basement when Vinny is trying to explain what he was doing only for Slenderman to show up and blow the lights out... things like that. By far my favorite little thing that some may not have noticed right away was during a livestream and Evan starts zoning out and pacing in circles. At some point he walks past the camera behind the group and he looks directly at the camera with purple duct tape over his mouth, signifying HABIT's existence before we even fucking knew he existed. All those little things made me love EMH probably a little more than MH.
Then you have the inclusion of HABIT and let me just say, even when I'm involved with ARG's I'm not the biggest fan of going out of my way to read shit or dig deeper but I did that for EMH. That's just how much I cared for EMH. I remember so vividly when I was still in school and every time EMH uploaded, I'd sneak off somewhere(I was a problem child, what can I say?) and watch the new episode because I was immersed in this world. Whenever HABIT or Damsel posted, I'd read it. Whenever ANYTHING about EMH was posted, I'd watch it. I cared for this ARG more than I have for any Creepypasta.
Now we're here, almost a year after EMH ended and now all I have left is the bittersweet knowledge that almost every character I love has died except for HABIT. Nothing will ever be fine again but that's ok, because at least we know they finally got away from HABIT's torment. After all, Evan wanted so badly to be let go.
So here's my small contribution to the EMH fandom. I'm not the best artist and I'll try to make it look way better later in digital but.. here's some fanart of my favorite boy?... boyS????? Here's fan art of Evan and HABIT.
