summary: for someone who's widely admired — Luke castellan has never had a first kiss, well you're here to kiss him isn't it?

The afternoon light poured through the curtains, casting an inviting glow across the room as (Name) and Luke found themselves seated on the couch, textbooks pushed aside.
"Okay, so," (Name) began, clearing her throat, "kissing is... well, it's kind of like a dance. You have to find the rhythm, the right moves."
Luke, shifted uncomfortably. "I've never really thought about it like that."
(Name) chuckled, her nerves matching Luke's. "No worries. It's just practice, right? Nothing to stress about."
She took a deep breath and continued, "So the first thing is about being gentle, you don't want to go too fast and too slow. It's all about finding that sweet spot."
As (Name) explained, Luke listened attentively, making an effort to understand everything that was said.
She gestured with her hands, imitating the movement of a kiss, occasionally looking at Luke, who was becoming increasingly flustered.
"Okay, now, um, let's try a simple move. You can start by gently cupping my face," (Name) suggested, her cheeks turning a faint shade of pink.
Luke hesitated for a moment, his hand hovering uncertainly near her face — (Name) gently guided his hand.
Luke gulped nervously, trying to hide the subtle fluttering in his chest.
"Now, lean in slowly," (Name) instructed, her voice soft. "Close your eyes and let the moment take over."
Luke complied, bringing their faces closer. The room seemed to hold its breath as the distance between them drew closer.
(Name)'s heart rate increased, and she felt a mix of nervousness and anticipation. As their lips were about to meet, Luke gathered the courage to close the remaining gap, kissing (Name)'s lips quickly and sweetly.
Startled, (Name) blinked, taking a moment to register what just happened. Luke pulled away, a nervous smile playing on his lips. "Like that?"
(Name) sat in stunned silence for a beat before bursting into laughter, the tension dissipating into the air. "You caught me off guard, but I'd say you're a quick learner, Castellan."
Luke's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Well, I didn't want to mess it up, you know?"
(Name) grinned, her eyes sparkling. "You definitely didn't mess it up. Just maybe a little too efficient."
They both laughed, their awkwardness giving way to current comfort. (Name) put a comforting hand on Luke's shoulder. "Hey, that was a good first try." Kissing is all about understanding your own technique, which you'll accomplish with practice."
Luke nodded, a shy smile tugging at his lips. "Thanks for being my... kissing coach?"
As they continued to chat and share laughter, the afternoon sunlight cast a warm glow over the room.
In a moment of understanding, (Name) leaned in, her lips gently brushing against Luke's.
This time, it was an intentional move, a conscious decision to step into uncharted territory: shared emotions.
Luke reciprocated, closing the gap between them, the soft press of their lips creating a moment suspended in time.
The room seemed to disappear as they lost themselves in the innocence of the kiss. It was a tender exchange, a delicate ballet of feelings that went beyond words. The world outside the room vanished as they discovered the art of kissing together.
When they finally pulled away, a warmth lingered, both in the room and within their hearts.
Luke, breaking the quiet, spoke gently, "So, how was that? Better?"
(Name) chuckled, a glint in her eyes. "Definitely an improvement. Maybe you're a fast learner after all."
Luke's expression shifted from nervousness to a more confident smile. "Well, I had a good teacher."

Hey your art is pretty whimsical and radical my gender non specific broseph, per chance would thou be able to enlighten us on how you draw such bodacious fine art? Like how you draw bodies and fave and what have thee. (Fr tho your art really cool and I'd like to see how you make it)
okay i have whipped up a quick little visual of my thought process while drawing!! it might not be the best cause im not the greatest at teaching but if anyones curious ^_^
first lets start with how i draw bodies
a lot of people like to do the "skeleton" method which is where you draw lines and circles to plan out where the limbs should be. honestly i really dislike doing that because i like to always have volume and shape in mind when drawing bodies, but if it works for you thats great.
instead i separate the body into different pieces, kinda like an articulated doll. i think it helps visualize all the moving parts in a 3d space and makes posing and perspective a lot easier. i can also always add the detailed anatomy on top of this basic model like you see on the left. its always important to work from simple -> complex. drawing a pose while being too worried on anatomy will really hinder your drawing process.
to improve doing this it really just takes practice and observation. i could be here all day talking about proportions, and how many heads high a person is, and each specific muscle group, but i reccomend you go and watch videos and study professional artists on your own. as someone who has been drawing and studying these things for so long, i barely think about how many heads high a person is when im drawing a body. its kind of like learning how to play and instrument or driving a car. it becomes second nature eventually, but you have to apply those skills and work through that period of time where youre still trying to program it into your brain.
after you get a hang of the basics you can take this basic model and draw all types of body shapes with it. i say its always important to play around with making your body types diverse. its not only fun to do but helps make all the characters you draw unique and recognizable. (dont be like vivziepop).
dynamic posing can be the hardest thing to master for a lot of people. the best way to learn how to pose is to not think about it too much and just doing it. for example in my figure drawing class we had to sketch out gesture drawings from a picture in 15 seconds. excercises like that help a ton in making you feel more comfortable when drawing from a reference. you should definitely reference a LOT when it comes to poses, it helps build this visual database so that eventually you can get to the point where you can just draw accurate and dynamic poses from memory. after getting to this point eventually you kind of start thinking of your canvas as this tangible 3d space and considering your characters in 3d space helps make the poses feel a lot more realistic and interesting.
ok now a quick little tour into how i draw different faces yaaaayy!!!1!1!1
main thing with my art is that i LOVEEE drawing dynamic face shapes i think its so important to avoid drawing the same slim faces over and over. shape language plays a big role into this. like for example the face on the middle is more square, the one on the left is more oval and the one on the right is more circle. shape language helps communicate so much about your character without even saying a word about them and just helps differentiate people from a glance.
facial features also play a huge role into making your faces different. these are all drawn from the same exact face shape but look like entirely different characters by adding variety in the features. different noses, eye shapes, lips, etc. can make such a huge difference
i think before any of that its important to learn the anatomy of the face though. again im not gonna go into how many eyes wide a face it or how far the nose is from the mouth but like its always important to learn the fundamentals before stylizing stuff. again the face is a 3d space and if you dont consider your face a 3d plane the features will kind of just look like theyre floating on your characters face like soup...theres a lot of great resources and tutorials online take advantage of those!!! and reference from artists you like too it helps a ton.
and then you mix that all together and Boom you have cool and interesting faces. you will best that same face syndrome in no time if you take my advice Trust...
anyways yeah thats the soda design philosophy hit that like button if you liked it or douse me with tomatoes and kick me off the stage if you think i give bad advice ill leave the decision up to you

Then & Now the (x: perfect drug) edition:
Inspired by the fandom to look back and celebrate the boys' journey as well as my own in terms of vp.
March 2021, ps4.
I never created Dagger with the intention to ship him with anyone, but by the time I got here on his file it felt strangely natural. He was still a very fresh oc but things began to click immediately and genuinely felt like it was meant to be. The development of him as a character began to happen side by side with this silly little ship and both ended up becoming really personal and special to me.
It's hard getting decent shots on ps4 with anyone. It's especially hard when it's a minor npc with extremely limited screen time available! You have no idea how many times I went back and played these two quests trying to get something interesting. Honestly I'm really grateful for my time on ps4 not only because it helps me appreciate what I can do now a little more, but I think a lot of my growth happened here, stretching the limited resources I had available.
July 2021, ps4
Learning how to work within the confines of totally vanilla photomode, getting creative with base game poses and skipping time to find the best natural light, etc. I'm still proud of these pictures, they capture an intimacy that I think is really special, and at the time were some of my favorites I'd ever taken, and even now I can note the growth between these and the first ones I'd taken.
April 2022, laptop
The first pictures taken on my laptop and my first time posing them with AMM/setting up a scene. I might like to retake these some day. I'm more critical of them than I am of my ps4 pics tbh but they're still an important part of my journey. Over time I noticed red lighting had become my comfort zone, or more specifically, a crutch! So I've tried really hard since then to improve on that and push myself in different directions.
February 2023
It took me almost a year to feel comfortable enough with posing to attempt some goddam kisses. I'm still not very good at these but at least I improved in other ways. Honestly, I struggle with these two at times because they aren't your typical outwardly loving, cute couple, and I'm usually very strict with myself to keep them as in character as I can. That can make it hard to think of couples poses/ideas, both cute and spicy, but. they can be lovebirds as a treat.
May 2023
Only recently have I begun to feel a strong sense of style in my own work. Playing with lighting and scenes, and trying to jam as much personality as I can into these slice of life pictures is really important to me and is one of my favorite parts of doing this. They can be sweet together but it's important you see the other side of that (the blood, the knives, drugs, etc. Also Dagger resting his ashtray on Dum Dum is one of my personal favorite quirks). I really try to put a lot of their life into pictures like this. I want to convey all the parts of who they are together, even if nobody else notices.
June/July 2023
Its pretty hard to articulate how important these two have become for me over the last couple years. I've been playing this game since release and haven't had this sort of steady inspiration or creativity for years. Even on the bad days, just thinking about them is enough to get me through as silly as it sounds. I've grown so much not only in VP but my own art (something I had all but entirely abandoned until I picked up this game). They've provided an outlet I've been searching for for a very long time, and I'm really grateful for that. It's kinda wild looking back at where it started, and seeing how far it's come. Sometimes I still struggle with my perception/the worth of my work but I can't deny the happiness its brought me either.

I'm always a little insecure about my ship pics specifically, I'm very bad at comparing myself with others! But I put a lot of love into these and I can see the improvement when I look at them over time. Regardless of anything, they were all made with lots of love and I hope that comes across.

1.something you absolutely adore
a winter's crest detour [mature, caleb/essek]
the idea for this fic actually went through two different fandoms before coming to light in critical role. i'd signed up for a christmas hallmark movie prompt thing and sadly didn't get my pick, so i left cause i got unreasonably attached to this one idea and so it came with me as i moved into another fandom where about 10k got written before the muse abandoned me until shadowgast ate my life and here we are. its probably the most self indulgent fic i've ever written, purely created for moi and i love it, bonus other people seemed to like it too! woo!
2. something that was challenging to create
the edge of the blade [teen, caleb/essek]
a full YEAR in the making, this is my biggest, longest, most EVERYTHING fic. i love it, i had so much fun writing it but boy was it hard work. the time, the energy that went into this. i really challenged myself to dig deep for essek's emotions and insecurities and i'm really proud of how it turned out. i definitely improved as a writer because of the challenges this fic liked to throw at me
3. something that makes you laugh (or smile, if that fits more comfortably)
long may they reign chapter 3 [gen, caleb/essek]
not gonna lie this is one of my comfort fics that i re-read of my things that always makes me feel better. i love the dynamic of being so comfortable and in love that the simplest acts of affection become automatic and the realisation of those acts can lead to a deeper sense and understanding of that love. i'm a sucker for the old married couple troupe.
4. something that surprised you (in how it turned out, how much other people liked it, etc.)
keep me warm [explicit, caleb/essek]
listen i am not a smut writer, it is not one of my strengths, it's very difficult for me and even the smallest scene requires days/weeks/months of writing cause i just struggle with it so damn much, (maybe she's (gnc) born with it, maybe its maybelline the aroace of it all). the idea for this fic just grabbed me by the throat and wouldn't let go so i put word to document and it actually came out alright, i was pleasantly surprised that i actually managed to put what was in my head into the fic in a very good way so very proud of myself for it
5. something you want other people to see

ok ok ok i know i haven't finished parts 2 and 3 yet, YET! but i love how this series is shaping up even though it has grown beyond the teeny tiny wee fun little three part fluff ball it was meant to be into something so big and with feelings, think fluff ball the size of one of those stupidly big plastic tourist attractions they've got out in america. i love looking into old courting practices and seeing what would fit and connect with the culture of the drow and just being able to explore different aspects of their relationship and the important moments to them as well. part three especially has me a little teary cause its gonna be so gosh darn sweet so yeah, stay tuned i am writing it, its just bigger than originally designed lol

My MBTI is INFP.
I'm a Humanities and Social Science student planning on taking social psychology (major), multimedia arts (minor), and creative writing (minor) courses.
I'm somewhat what you call a "lone wolf." I prefer to be independent and responsible for my own well-being and actions. I am a-okay with being left alone and away from the limelight.
But that doesn't mean I totally dislike social interaction. I love being around talkative and engaging people. I'm naturally a listener, so I enjoy seeing things unfold rather than participating.
I've recently learned most people are afraid to approach me because, apparently: I have a "resting bitch face," I don't talk much, and my body is unconsciously defensive to ANY physical interaction (leaning away, lack of eye contact, etc.). But, when I get comfortable enough, I can entertain small talk and express myself unapologetically.
I have some auditory problems. 1.) Any information fed to me won't automatically click in my brain. It takes me a good few minutes to get it, and I will ask you to repeat yourself just to make sure I'm understanding you right. 2.) I am very sensitive to loud noises. Unreasonable shouting, loud noises, and incessant chattering will melt my brain.
What I am looking for in a partner is someone who respects my boundaries; who I can vibe with without being judged; who encourages my self-improvement; and who is mutually understanding and transparent with each other. It will take some time for me to open up, so I also hope they have god-tier patience 😅

Nice! I'm so glad there are still people here(in this fandom)! Okay, here it is:
I am a 5'6" biological female, I use she/her/they pronouns(god that sounds cringey), I am bisexual(I'm pretty sure, at least), have medium length dark brown hair, and turquoise/greenish eyes(i don't really know what color they are), and I wear black glasses with clear rims. I have what most would describe as the 'hourglass/pear' body shape with larger hips and B cup breasts. I tend to wear baggy, comfort-first sort of clothes with the occasional dress and one piece.

I have been told than I have a high maturity level for someone my age(but I laugh at dumb jokes so idk if I believe them)

In the past I was never really keen on reading self help books. I always felt like there was no point on reading them because I knew what I needed to do but instead I choose to make excuses to procrastinate or not do it. But this is why I think this book by David Goggins has become a favorite of mine at least enough for me to recommend the book. A part of me felt like or rather had grown comfortable in making excuses and using the trauma I went through growing as a crutch. Meanwhile what I needed was a wake up call and stop making excuses for myself. In truth I had started my journey or rather my redemption arc months before I even found out about Goggins's book but after having gone through 2/3 of the book already I have to say this book is just the right thing I needed to push myself off the edge. I also like the inclusion of the task he gives at the end of each chapter it felt interactive and it gave me a goal to get to it got me thinking about things a lot and it got me realizing or rather accepting that I can't keep making excuses I can't use my situation as a crutch if I intend to live the best life I should walk the talk I gotta just do it no ifs or buts about it. So for any of you trying to pick yourself up and wanting to change your life for the better I highly suggest that you pick this book up. Personally for me I much prefer the audiobook as it's set in a semi podcast format so you can actually hear Goggins himself add context and more advice to it. Personally I'm more of a listener then a reader. However if you can't get the audiobook then getting the text is also just as good and still leaves a lasting impact. Or if you have the time then do both have the audiobook playing as you are reading the text and fully immerse yourself in Goggins's work of art which is what I choose to do and when I tell you it left a lasting effect it sure did.
Side note: if you don't do well with strong languages the text version also comes in a more softer toned down one. Though personally I'd rather take in the raw unfiltered one strong language and all. Because quite honestly it leaves a lasting effect and you actually feel the emotions rushing through. But that's just me though everyone has their own preference. Unfortunately the filtered version does not have an audiobook so you're going to have to just settle with reading the text. Again still worth the read and it'll leave you facing yourself.
Months ago I was convinced that I was a healed girl I'd overcome my traumas and all. But when I tell you this book had proven me wrong it did. The effect each chapter leaves on you forces you to reevaluate your life, what you've gone through and what you're goals are even who you are as a person. With the passing of every chapter I felt myself more and more enraged at the life I've let myself go through all in the name of being the victim. You are going to cry a lot you are going to feel angry a lot you might even feel a little anxious needless to say this book will literally leave you feeling like you've taken yourself apart inside out part after part and it's not going to be fun all rainbows and sunshine and it's the furthest from feeling comfortable. But you know what they say success begins at the end of your comfort zone if you're feeling comfortable you're not thriving. Self improvement is not for the weak of hearts you need to be brave to leave behind your comfort zone. I haven't gotten to the end but if it's anything to go by I don't want to live like the me in the past. I had always told everyone how I was a warrior a fighter but in truth I was playing a victim making excuses after excuses. It's time I walk the talk I didn't want to be know as who I was in the past I want to strive to become the warrior the fighter I had been saying I was. With that said if you're wondering what book to pick up on I'd say your best bet is to pick up this book. It's quite literally life changing.

Okay I know this is completely off topic but what the hell is Sivir's pose in her base splash art? Like oh my god doesn't that hurt your back? Jesus I know proportions are hard but wow this pose is terrible lmao.
Also it has come to my attention that I unintentionally made all the Legends of Runeterra Shuriman champions. Well I mean, Rammus isn't in LoR yet. Man we do really need more Shuriman champs.
Sorry I really don't have much of a blurb beyond that. Honestly only making Sivir for "randomly Shurima month." Like who actually plays Sivir anymore.
GOALS
Better duck! - We need to be able to throw everything at incoming danger and cut it down to size.
Here's where I get my cut - When faced with a hoard it doesn't hurt to be able to shoot everyone at once!
Nice try - Of course getting hit yourself would suck, so we're going to need ways to avoid incoming damage.
RACE
You have ascendant blood in you, which gives you just a touch of godly power. To connect to the gods look to the Aasimar. As an Aasimar you’d normally increase your Charisma by 2 but we’re instead going to invoke Tasha’s for a +2 to Dexterity. But your other abilities don’t change such as your Darkvision which I only mention because Light Bearer gives you the Light cantrip to help your friends with their dumb human eyes. You also get Celestial Resistance for a Spell Shield and Healing Hands for some potions in a pinch.
Fallen Aasimar require high Charisma and Scourge Aasimar hurt themselves as they fight, so we’ll be going for Protector Aasimar. We’re still going to get a +1 to Intelligence instead of Wisdom with Tasha’s rules, and we’ll cover more of what your subrace does for you at level 3.
ABILITY SCORES
15; INTELLIGENCE - Intelligence is tied to Investigation which makes it the tomb raiding skill. (I’d probably put Dexterity higher to be honest but I dislike uneven Ability Scores.)
14; DEXTERITY - You’re an ADC and even if you’re throwing stuff (which we won’t be in this build) Dexterity is still tied to most ranged combat abilities.
13; CONSTITUTION - While you may be squishy on the Rift we simply don’t need any other abilities for this build.
12; WISDOM - Wisdom is tied to Perception which is also useful when trying to avoid traps.
10; CHARISMA - You’re rather rough around the edges. Maybe if you were more Charismatic your fellow tomb raiders wouldn’t have double-crossed you.
8; STRENGTH - Even though you’re throwing weapons (which again: we won’t be for this build) you are very nimble and Fleet of Foot. Put simply we don’t need Strength at all for this build.
BACKGROUND
There’s no “Tomb Raider” background so we’ll fall back on Sivir’s job as a Mercenary Veteran. You get proficiency in Athletics and Persuasion as well as Land Vehicles and a gaming set of your choice (pick your poison.)
When you live the Mercenary Life you can easily identify other mercenaries by their emblems and logos. (RIP Clubs.) You know bits and pieces about their work, and can go seek them out for hints on the next ancient tomb to break into. And if all else fails you can fall back on mercenary work to maintain a comfortable lifestyle.

THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - ROGUE 1
Starting off as a Rogue because skills to raid tombs are always helpful. Skills like Acrobatics, Perception, Investigation, and... well we may as well grab Stealth as a Rogue. You also get Expertise in two skills: Investigation is the skill to find hidden loot, and Stealth is still pretty important as a Rogue.
When you live the mercenary life you know to speak in Thieves’ Cant so no wanabee treasure hunters try for your mark. Thieves’ Cant is a secret code with regular words that mean something else.
But let’s be real: what we’re really here for is Sneak Attack. When you have advantage on an attack (such as by attacking from stealth) or if your ADC is near the target you can do an additional d6 of damage.
LEVEL 2 - ROGUE 2
Second level Rogues are Fleet of Foot, and can use Cunning Action to Dash, Disengage, or Hide as a Bonus Action. Attack-Moving as an ADC is very important!
LEVEL 3 - ROGUE 3
Third level Rogues get to choose their Roguish Archetype, and you have the blood of a long-dead civilization in your veins. You revived your phantom of a great great great great (x20 more “great”s) grandfather, so Phantom Rogue will work well. Whispers of the Dead will let you choose a skill or tool to gain proficiency in after a Short or Long Rest, so you can adapt your tools to the situation at hand.
But more importantly you get Wails from the Grave. When you hit an enemy you can have your shot Ricochet to an enemy within 30 feet to deal necrotic damage equal to half the number of Sneak Attack dice for your level (round up.) You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Speaking of which your Sneak Attack die increases to 2d6. And speaking of more damage as a Protector Aasimar you get Radiant Soul. Once per long rest you can activate your Ascendant blood for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During this time you have a flying speed and deal extra Radiant damage equal to your level. Look just because we don’t see Sivir fly in-game doesn’t mean she can’t.
LEVEL 4 - ROGUE 4
4th level Rogues get an Ability Score Improvement: Dexterity controls most of what you do currently. Increase it by 2 for more damage, better skill checks, and better AC.

LEVEL 5 - FIGHTER 1
ADCs are meant to fight, and Fighters are good at that! You get a Fighting Style to boost your right clicks and a “Marksman” needs Archery, even if they’re technically throwing weapons. (By the way by this point I’d recommend using a Longbow, for multiple reasons other than “it’s better than a Shortbow / Light Crossbow.”)
You can also pop the Heal Summoner Spell for a Second Wind, healing yourself for a d10 plus your Fighter level as a Bonus Action.
LEVEL 6 - FIGHTER 2
Second level Fighters are On the Hunt (by themselves), and can Action Surge to take an additional action! For now this just means one more attack, but your damage output will really increase at higher levels!
LEVEL 7 - FIGHTER 3
Third level Fighters get to choose their Martial Archetype, and while it’s perhaps not the most accurate or the strongest Arcane Archer is the only way to get some of Sivir’s abilities. But firstly you get Arcane Archer Lore for the Arcana skill (or Nature but Arcana is better), as well as the Prestidigitation cantrip (or Druidcraft but Prestidigitation is better.)
But your main feature is of course the Arcane Shot. Once per turn you can use one of your Arcane Shot options. You decide to use it when the arrow hits a creature, unless the option doesn’t involve an attack roll. Piercing Arrow will serve as your “Boomerang” Blade, firing a projectile in a 30 foot line that deals damage to everyone it passes through. This ability will go through cover so you can shoot past walls too!
There aren’t really many other options that fit Sivir, but Bursting Arrow will make your shot “Ricochet” on enemies within 5 feet of your initial target. And will do more damage, obviously.
You have two Arcane Shots per Short or Long Rest, but I’d really recommend discussing the subclass with your DM. Arcane Archer is known for being weak but it becomes a lot stronger if you make the Arcane Shots scale with either Intelligence modifier or your Proficiency Bonus. I don’t normally recommend homebrew changes but Arcane Archer is honestly a fun subclass hampered by how limited your Arcane Shot options are. I really recommend discussing buffs to the class if you wish to play one.
LEVEL 8 - FIGHTER 4
4th level Fighters get another Ability Score Improvement and while tricks are useful shooting good is still your main goal. Increase your Dexterity by 2 for the deadliest shots possible.

LEVEL 9 - FIGHTER 5
5th level Fighters get their Beserker's Greaves, granting them enough attack speed for an Extra Attack to make two attacks in a turn! "Business is good."
LEVEL 10 - FIGHTER 6
Fighters get Ability Score Improvements instead of Class Features, but that's cool because it means we can get feats! Your Constitution has been sitting at 13 for awhile now, and while I'd normally try to grab a more fun feat Resilient will increase your Constitution by 1 and also make it easier to resist spells, which is like a spell shield!
LEVEL 11- FIGHTER 7
7th level Fighters get their Mythic! Kraken Slayer will give you Magic Arrows that do... exactly what they say on the tin! Magic damage for the sake of overcoming resistance or immunity to nonmagical damage.
Additionally if you miss you can use your Bonus Action to Ricochet your shot to another enemy. Curving Shot will let you redirect a missed hit towards a different enemy within 60 feet.
You also learn another Arcane Shot option: Enfeebling Arrow is like exhaust on an arrow. The target takes an additional 2d6 Necrotic damage and has to make a Constitution saving throw. If they fail the damage of their attacks is reduced by half until the start of your next turn.
LEVEL 12 - FIGHTER 8
More Feats are fun! While I could take Resilient in every stat or perhaps Mage Slayer I think Lucky works better to simulate Sivir's spell shield. If you make a roll on a d20 that you don't like you can roll a Lucky die to change it. You can use this not just on saving throws but also attack rolls, ability checks, and even enemy rolls! (Though of course the most flavorful thing would be to only use it on your own saving throws.) You do only have 3 of these per Long Rest, so be sure to use them wisely to block deadly spells.

LEVEL 13 - ROGUE 5
5th level Rogues can survive a bit of harass thanks to Uncanny Dodge, letting you reduce the damage from a weapon attack you saw coming by half with your reaction. "Nice try." Your Sneak Attack also increases to 3d6, meaning that your Wails from the Grave increase to 2d6.
LEVEL 14 - ROGUE 6
6th level Rogues get Expertise in two more skills: Perception will help you see danger coming, and Acrobatics will help you avoid that danger.
LEVEL 15 - ROGUE 7
7th level Rogues can dodge skillshot with Evasion. If you succeed on a Dexterity saving throw you take no damage. If you fail on the saving throw you only take half damage, instead of the full damage! "Step light, strike hard." Your Sneak Attack also increases to 4d6.
LEVEL 16 - ROGUE 8
Another Ability Score Improvement is in order, and this will actually be your last one! More Intelligence will boost your Arcane Shots, but the Sharpshooter feat will boost your regular shots. It’s up to you what you do really; adapt your build for more Ability Power or more Attack Damage.
LEVEL 17 - ROGUE 9
9th level Phantom Rogues can loot the dead. When a creature you see dies within 30 feet you can use your reaction to grab a Tokens of the Departed. You can have a maximum number of soul trinkets equal to your proficiency bonus, and can’t create one while at your maximum. You can use soul trinkets in the following ways:
While you have at least one soul trinket you have advantage on death saving throws and Constitution saving throws.
When you deal Sneak Attack damage you can destroy one of your soul trinkets to use Wails from the Grave without expending a use of that feature.
As an action, you can destroy one of your soul trinkets to ask the spirit associated with the trinket one question. The spirit appears to you and answers in a language it knew in life. It doesn’t have to be truthful, and it answers as concisely as possible, eager to be free. The spirit knows only what it knew in life, as determined by the DM.
And to top it off your Sneak Attack increases to 5d6, which also means your Wails from the Grave increases to 3d6! “Life’s cheap. Death pays.”

LEVEL 18 - FIGHTER 9
9th level Rogues get another Spell Shield with Indomitable. Once per Long Rest when you fail a saving throw, you can reroll it! It’s really that simple.
LEVEL 19 - FIGHTER 10
10th level Arcane Archers get another Arcane Shot Option. What? Did you want actual class features? Too bad! Regardless take whatever option you think will be useful honestly, because we got everything we wanted from the earlier levels.
LEVEL 20 - FIGHTER 11
Now that you’re finally six-slotted you can attack three times with your Extra Attack, or 6 times with Action Surge!
FINAL BUILD
PROS
I've got values; they stack up nicely - Three attacks per turn is good in its own right, but you’ve also got Arcane Shots, a Sneak Attack that can affect two targets, and Radiant Soul to add a flat +20 to your damage every turn.
I'll fight for a cause; I won't die for one - Having around 150 HP is nothing to sneeze at, but what’s really impressive is your saving throws. Proficiency in DEX, CON, and INT saves means you won’t be failing those saves anytime soon, especially since your Soul Trinkets give you advantage on CON saves!
You've got a problem, I've got a price - You’ve got plenty of utility with Expertise in the two “searching” skills, the ability to interrogate people after death, and of course good ol’ Lucky if things go south.
CONS
Make me work for it - You need a lot of actions and reactions to operate at maximum effectiveness. Soul Trinkets are tied to spending reactions and you need your Bonus Action for Curving Shot as well as your Cunning Actions.
Don't get between me, and my gold - You’re honestly not that skillful for a Rogue, with a lot of dud skills (let’s be honest you really don’t need Athletics) instead of potentially more useful things like Insight or Survival. Sure +13 to Perception is nice but that and Investigation are probably the only two skills you’re notably good at, as your took Expertise in general Rogue abilities instead of team utility.
They say the desert is a cruel mistress - Half your saving throws are very good. The other half...? +1 Wisdom saves are quite mediocre for a common save, and -1 to Strength saves certainly has the chance to hurt. Even if you can reroll them it’s still going to be hard to make those saves.
But you’re reliable which is all that can be asked for a mercenary. Your jobs are to fight and to nab treasure, both of which you’re damn good at. Go ahead and pull this build out if the party needs a reliable marksman, and if you roleplay them well they may not even realize you’re playing a character from League of Legends. Pull a little Sneaky on them.

Best tips for beginner artists? I just started out, as a child I loved to draw but my parents discouraged it. Now that I'm older, I want to finally get started but there's so much info out there. But your art is amazing! I'd love to hear what you think. Also I hear you on the boredom. I've been locked down in my apartment for months now.
hello!!! I’m sorry this took me a little while to answer. I had to think about it! Also thank you so much!!
First, I must say that I still cannot consider myself an “experienced” artist, I’ve been taking it seriously and actively seeking to improve for maybe 4-5 years? but I had no formal training or anything before college! (I’m about to be third-year right now) I am no pro... but I do think I feel relatively comfortable with drawing now and like I can more often than not get out the idea that was in my head? which is enough for me...
(just to expose myself, this was when I started drawing in a sketchbook and tried drawing digitally for the first time and then the following year:

Honestly, all I did was draw and draw and draw. Don’t force it! Like if you’re miserable and it’s just a chore I’d say at least take a break, but just getting a sketchbook you don’t mind messing up and drawing from observation, people (lately that has been hard as I too am locked down in my apartment and have been so since the spring), things, etc., doing studies of comics or illustrations you like! it may not seem like anything is changing but over time it all accumulates in your mental repertoire? I really think the key is not agonizing over stuff like sketchbooks or presentation. For me personally! Like my sketchbooks look like pages upon pages of unintelligible scribbles and notes but I think since I’ve let that be the case I’ve felt a lot stronger drawing-wise.
I feel like observation is really really helpful! As far as looking at art you like and considering - “why do I like that?” “what are they doing that draws me in?” not copying! just studying? and i think once you absorb a variety and parse through what you like to look out as well as what you enjoy actually physically drawing it’ll become your own naturally?
I’m not sure, if at all, what kind of drawing you want to focus on, not that there has to be a kind! but figure drawing is really helpful across the board! studying anatomy - I’m still a bit dodgy there... but it’s a lot of making it look close enough to be convincing? or that it “works” enough that it isn’t off putting? and for me I like comics and storyboarding so there’s a lot of studying shots and panels and just jotting a scribbly version down simply to have it added to my mental library? Draw! Observe! Study? Feel no shame! Improvement will sneak up on you over time.
I don’t know if this is coherent nor if any of it helps but that’s what I’ve got! and if you have any more questions please let me know, in an ask or dm or whatever! and I will try my best to answer!

Review: Two Car
After years of watching just sports anime with boys I've become increasingly bored with every new release. My main problem is that the tropes among animes are just recycled over and over again. Moreover I have developed an aversion to being able to identify male voice actors across different works. Watching animes have sometimes turned into a "guess the voice actor" game with myself and eventually I hated it.
Therefore, since 2021 I have started watching sports anime that feature girls.
Anyhow the first anime I'm reviewing is called Two Car [CONTAINS SPOILERS]
Setup
Highschool girls. I forgot what year they're in. They live on this island where racing is a Thing. Their school is a powerhouse for sidecar racing. And sidecar racing enthusiasts all over japan go there and hang out. Basically their whole island is a sidecar racetrack. Their culture revolves around it. Yuri Miyata and Megumi Meguro are the best highschool racers in their island, and also in japan.
The team is composed of these 2 athletes, 2 technicians and their coach. Before the series started, their coach left them to pursue his dreams of being a pro racer in the Isle of Man in England. He could leave the girls behind coz they were already skilled af and they had a local lady coach who could handle things. Now Yuri and Megumi may be partners but they are also rivals. They want to beat each other guts. Think momoshiro and kaido from prince of tennis. They work quite well together coz they're so competitive with each other.
Now make no mistake, Sidecar Racing is an extreme and dangerous sport. People legit die from this irl. The trust between pairs (a driver and passenger) is important because they need to balance each other AND the vehicle or else they'll steer off-course and crash (and then die).
From what I remember, this 12-episode anime focuses on the national competition in sidecar racing. Therefore the best pairs all over japan have come to the island to be the national champion. 5 other female sidecar pairs are introduced. For some reason, the drivers and the passengers are housed separately, but the pairs train and plan together.
The anime follows the histories and conflicts of each pair as they all practice to get used to the race track. This culminates to the final battle at the end of the series.
My Rating: 3/5 -the plot is pretty meh. I was honestly curious about how it will unfold though. The characters are weird and meta af, combine that with girl power and "female flavor" (for lack of better word), it's a different POV on things honestly.
Art and Animation
It's pretty decent ngl. I enjoyed watching the racing sequences and how the sidecar pairs moved while operating the vehicles. It is smooth and the colors are pretty.
Technicality
I'm not into vehicles but there were technical aspects discussed. Modifications and etc. are often shown and you can see how the characters manipulate the different parts of the vehicle (like clutch and accelerator handling, etc.) Techniques to improve speed and handle curves/bumps are also briefly explained among other stuff. I dont know how realistic or legal some of the stuff they're doing tho so..watch with a grain of salt. XD
Characters
I'd say the characters were interesting. The main characters aren't beginners and are smh treated as pros even in their own island. So you dont get that "dumb beginner idiot with freaky abilities vs loner genius" partnership that is so common and overused in shonen series.
It's refreshing to see adults enjoy the same sport too and they also help the characters.

The MC's rivalry is honestly so..uh...petty and icky if you think about it. Both of them got this crush on their coach (help me pls) and they want to defeat each other to become their coach's partner in the sport. It's honestly so childish? but also reminded me of CLAMP/CCS bullsht and if I survived CLAMP then this plot point is basically peanuts.
They have healthy competition tho. Both of them grew up together (childhood friends) and developed love for the sport together because their moms were the og teammates. (yeah their parents participation and love for the sport is a big thing in this series).
The other character pairs are interesting too:
announcers
twins
master-servant
lesbians (like legit sailor neptune and uranus type)
osaka girls
and etc.
Each had their own drama and they resolved it within the series.
Realism
Honestly this show is more meta than sport. Like... it's not for casual viewing. I remember there was some deep psychological issue which the twin pair portrayed. There's a lot of drama okay? HOWEVER!!! I've only been exposed to Shonen type of drama (like the USTs and hero complexes) so whatever Two Car had was unique to me!! Girls are really written differently. It easily reminded me of my interactions with fellow girls (albiet more extreme).
Fanservice
They are always shown to be in the onsen after every practice day but honestly it doesnt count as fanservice. Only their busts are shown.
You'll have to get used to shots of the butt especially in sequences of the passenger manuevering the vehicle tho. I guaranteet that there is no excessive boob action sequences and other sht.
Look I have seen stuff over the years and since this show didn't provide see-through-shirt stuff, Two Car is "fine" in my books.
HOWEVER There is a dream sequence (one of the characters dream stuff up) which is straight up bdsm (i think that's in ep 6). NGL I dropped this show for a while because of that but hah it's honestly just a few dreams for one episode.
I TOLD YOU THIS SHOW IS META ALREADY.
Final Notes
Would I recommend this show? Honestly...no. But watching this was an Experience. Against the highly sanitized world of shonen anime, it's an interesting change of pace.
First of all, in girls sports, there is a lot of casual skinship because it's normal and comfortable. And there is more communication. Maybe it's a writing flaw that conflicts aren't as dragged out but idk, we dont have a lot of decent female sports anime to see what really works. Because I am often frustrated with how slow burn most shonen are, seeing characters resolve conflicts BY TALKING IT OUT is the most rewarding experience.
Honestly I really had fun watching the whole thing. The ending made me want to flip tables tho but the rest was quite enjoyable.
Personally I think ppl have more freedom in writing girls/women. There is just so much you can do with them.

#StoryOfTheDay...Todd Gray, photographer and author of "Before He Was King," a tabletop book which documents the years he spent touring with The Jacksons from 1979 to 1983.
"In 1979, after graduating high school I headed to art school. At 17,
I had already been published in Life magazine and was on tour with The Rolling Stones. By that time I had a really good portfolio of music concert images and CBS records...I received a call to photograph the group The Jacksons for their performances on "American Band Stand" and "Soul Train." When I showed up and went to their dressing room there were all of these people buzzing around Michael Jackson. I'll admit that I felt a little intimidated and immediately thought, I need to stay away from that situation. One thing I've learned is that you never want to get to close to the power because you might get burned, so I stepped back and kept my distance from Michael, but his brothers and I both went to Fairfax High School and that opened up conversation with Tito and Jackie and I was about the same age as them so we begin shooting the breeze. Later on, I started hanging out with Marlon and Jackie, but still decided to leave Michael alone.
It was obvious that Michael had the juice and everybody was attracted to it, including record executives, radio, just everybody, they weren't just following him, they were anchored to Michael. Again, I made a conscious decision not to socialize in that circle because I knew I was out of my league. That was a constant scenario, but Michael was dutiful and always had his management team and publicist by his side because Michael was genuinely shy introvert who was in the most public of professions, so he always kept a safeguard of record execs that would deflect for him and if anyone needed to get through to him they had to go through the label made filter. Mike had a game face and would speak few words in a soft voice and if someone from the media or elsewhere was making a request of him, he would whisper in one of his handlers ears who would then relay whatever message needed to be shared with that person. Michael did this because he didn't like confrontation and didn't want to offend or hurt anyone's feelings. Still his voice was not as soft as the one he often used in public, so I think Michael was also a little guarded. When I was on the road with them documenting, Michael was really critical of their performances and would talk about how they could improve their performances and he always did it in this soft voice. But make no mistake, when Michael spoke the buck stopped.
Once Michael was just surrounded by his family and friends he became the playful, trickster and jokester. Sometimes he'd call me up, disguise his voice, make up a name and ask me to do something foolish. He could mimic a variety of voices and played many pranks on me. One time I took pictures of him while he was in bed because he was late for a meeting I'd set up and wouldn't get up. He was like, "Todd, I'm gonna get you for that!" And he did. I'd forgotten all about what happened while he was performing one night and he'd told me to stand in a specific spot to take photos of him when he began singing that song. I did as I was instructed. So right before I go to take my position, Michael drops to his back and starts saying, "Help me, help me! I need some woman to touch me!" and every woman in that place collapsed on me. I was between them and Michael and I couldn't even get one shot in and he gave me this look like, I got you. Afterwards, I said you think you're so cute, and he says, "What do you mean, Todd?" I'm like, Mike that hurt; those people were crushing me and all he said: "Todd, the spirit just takes me sometimes and the spirit just took me." That's when I knew that was payback and that was the last time I stepped out of line with him (Laughs.)
This man was such an enigma. I have never met anyone who is both exhibiting the quality of mature adult wisdom because he was wise in many ways and ye exhibit qualities of child. Michael was authentically a child. Try as I might, I could not resolve those two polar opposites in the same body. We went to Disney land a couple of times and sitting next to him in a rollercoaster Michael's screaming and I'm just as giddy and screaming and letting my child out without reigning it back in. I have to thank him for that. He made it okay to be a child around him and that was everyone in his camp, we all became childlike. Michael would create that air and space and you'd simply enter into it before you even realized it. Initially, I was resistant and had a professional attitude, but I realized he was more comfortable when I was playful and he could relate to me on that level. What was great about hanging with Michael is that I was allowed to escape by removing my own mask of adulthood and nurture my inner child.
When I first met him I brushed him off mentally, thinking he's a lightweight, a kid, but I realized he's a sharp cookie and had to give him his intellectual due. Some experts believe that you stimulate your creative intellect by connecting with your inner child and let go of cultural constraints. You become a clear conduit of creativity because you are relaxed and the ideas will eventually come. Michael wouldn't restrict himself and would go back and have this generative process and gain new and fresh insight. I remember I was doing a cover assignment for Time magazine and Michael was sitting in his home theater and had his legs propped up on the chair and I noticed that he had on two color socks and I said, "Mike, you have on two different color socks." Now, this was when Thriller was taking off and Mike's confidence was at its highest. He said, "I know, take the picture." And I said, "But, Mike, they're going to talk about you." okay ily for sending me this no joke!! this is such a huge infodump i'm actually going to cry
1) just dance + dance central 3,, you DEFINITELY expected this one, i never shut up about how much i love both of these games and how they've helped me get exercise 6 days a week during the pandemic. i don't even OWN a copy of dance central 3 yet (though that might change when i get off my ass and actually spend some time looking at secondhand xbox 360s and kinect sensors) but it was something i was completely obsessed with in my childhood and it feels really nice to be able to talk about how happy it makes me without feeling shameful about it being weird or niche. it's a game where you can time travel using the power of swag dance moves, what's not to love?? on the other hand, i got a digital copy of just dance 2020 on discount not long after i got my switch, and i've managed to get the megastar rating on 95 songs so far! i'm hoping to hit 100 before just dance 2021 releases in two to three days, but even if i don't manage to get it by then, i'm still pretty excited to hit that milestone. i'm also currently trying to memorize the choreography for the alternate routine for lady gaga's bad romance and oof ouch my bones
2) i started watching buzzfeed unsolved true crime about two days ago and i'm absolutely hooked. i have no idea how i've gone so long without watching it (save for one episode that i took a look at because i was curious about the particular case they were talking about), but it's nice finally having something to put on while i eat my meals that isn't pokemon or among us. both games are great, but sometimes you just need to throw something fresh into the mix, y'know? it also feels nice going on a true crime kick again in general, haha.
3) I LOVE MY CHARACTERS AND ART and i've been drawing a lot of humans recently! i feel like i'm actively improving and that i'm gradually becoming more confident with my human artwork. i'm no maestro and i know my work isn't astounding by any means, but doodling my friends' characters and seeing their reactions has helped me push forward and try new things when it comes to art. i don't draw my own characters as often, but i've been working on some new plots and it's slowly coming together and it's giving me that sweet sweet serotonin. tangentially related but my FRIENDS' characters and art also makes me incredibly happy. i'm now going to annoy the hell out of them by tagging them; @/polygarnstars you know i would absolutely die for all of your characters (especially bate and fanael. horrible children) + i swear you know my own characters better than i do, @supernovacity if i had a nickel for every time i drew eyvind i'd probably be able to get a better laptop and drawing tablet by now, @arasolcan YOUR CHARACTER CONCEPTS AND DESIGNS SLAP and i always love when i get a chance to hear about them and doodle them, @kingsmanmechanics the starboys live rent free in my head and our current AU is SO GOOD i love it, @fihyn hello i love elvoth and co., and i should honestly take a shot and drawing more of your characters!! they're so unique and i'm excited to see what you have planned for 'em.
4) my cats,, i have five cats and they all share one brain cell. mochi usually has that brain cell. kiki still doesn't understand that she's not allowed on the bed and i've given up on trying to convey it to her sgdhgnshfkd
5) uhh i'm highkey blanking out because i really gotta go get some sleep but man, i can't believe i'm in university. sure, it's a stressful thing to go through, and i'm not going to pretend that the pandemic isn't making it even harder to socialize and get out of my comfort zone, but a year ago i was thoroughly convinced that i wouldn't get to experience this. the fact that i managed to get here and study the things i'm interested is amazing to me and i don't think i give myself enough credit for that :")

Buckle up it's rant time
Reddit used to be my go to for Harry Styles content before I discovered this place, y'know, just over there it's just discussions about the albums, which songs we like best, occasional fan art and photos of him etc. Yesterday I posted the birthday cake my partner and children made me to here and to the Harry subreddit. It was tongue in cheek, my partner is not keen at all on Harry's music, and jokingly teases me because it's the first time in years I've been this into a fandom. Emphasis on joking, we both understand that I love his music, and other than that this is just a silly celebrity crush. Everyone has them, it doesn't affect our relationship (10 years, two kids, going strong, we have our moments but generally it's great) in any way. If anything it's improved it because thanks to Harry, his music and his whole ethos, and honestly to you guys on here as well, I've become a more open person, more comfortable in my own skin, more confident.
My kids know I like Harry's music, they talked about what kind of birthday cake I would like, my three year old daughter suggested Peppa pig because that's her favourite, but they decided I'd prefer Harry. It was cute and it was a nice gesture and honestly a bit of an in joke, hence the baby Harries all over it (I started kicking Harry last November, wasn't a baby Harry kind of girl).
Anyway, I know there's a lot of gross subreddits out there, I've never really interacted or engaged with them, I've definitely never been dragged by them, until yesterday. Someone came across my cake post and posted it to r/consumeproduct.
Take a look at their wonderful comments:
Comments like 'Degenerate is probably a homosexual' just SHOWS you what kind of people these are. To imply that anyone gay is a degenerate is just disgusting bigotry, and to not understand that people of any sexual orientation can refer to their significant other as their partner… is just dumb as fuck. Partner… we've been together 10 years, we have two children together, boyfriend doesn't really cut it but we're not engaged or married so husband isn't right either. Is partner a British thing? Does it mean something else in other nations? What?
Apparently he's a cuck and a simp for allowing me to have a celebrity crush. Or maaaaybe we're just secure enough in our relationship that we know that celebrity crushes don't mean anything. Yes I spend some of my free time reblogging Harry content, I guess if you just look at my Tumblr or Reddit you might assume it's all-consuming but it's not. People have lives outside of these websites. I like a lot of things that are not Harry Styles. The fact that I choose to use this site or that site solely based on that topic does not negate the rest of my hobbies or life. The fact that I draw his face and share the picture doesn't mean I don't draw anything else. The fact that I listen to his music and discuss it, does not mean I don't ever listen to anything else. It just means there's a community of people in that place that I like sharing and discussing that particular thing with. There are other communities that I share other things with. Me being a bit self aware and making jokes about being obsessed or being enabled, doesn't mean I'm actually obsessed or being enabled.
But really, I couldn't care less about them dragging me for fancying a celebrity. We like and look up to people we respect. I have literally no qualms about fancying Harry fucking Styles. I couldn't really care less about them dragging me for any of it, I actually think it's hilarious reading their assumptions about my life based off a picture of cake.
What bothers me is the whole subreddit. It's gone past the point of mocking consumerism and now just mocks people for enjoying literally anything. You want to own a nice house one day? Fuck you consumer bitch. You like music, movies, pop culture of any kind? Fuck you consumer bitch. You like recording yourself playing guitar and posting it for others to see? Fuck you musical consumer bitch. You like porn? Super fuck you consumer bitch. You like a toothbrush with a rainbow on it? Fuck you LGBT+ consumer bitch.
These are ACTUAL things they are dragging people for.
Why are people so filled with hate that they can't even stand that other people enjoy things? What kind of lives do they live that they apparently like nothing other than spouting hate about the things other people LIKE? Simply things that other people get enjoyment from. It's completely laughable.
I feel bad for them that they feel so superior that they apparently can't get any enjoyment from music, books, movies...
Sure consumerism and capitalism are bad but not everything we consume is bad. People discussing and sharing their favourite artists, characters, things you hope to have or achieve etc isn't the same as tweeting about how much you love that big brand of cola. But also if you love that big brand of cola, you do you. People are allowed to like what they like. Sure, you're allowed an opinion of that if you really need to have one, but why? What do you gain from shitting on things that others enjoy?

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT
ADDISON WOODS, P 1

For anyone who does not know what this is, Character Spotlight 1 is where I criticized how a specified character is written. Part 2 is where I analyze the character and make predictions. Also, I'm doing these in a slightly different format, so if you see me redo my Damian character spotlight, don't be surprised (plus I'm not proud of that one). I am also specifically criticizing how the character is written. I'm no expert when it comes to art, so if you'd like a critique on his design, I'd recommend bugging @rzphhs.
Zoophobia belongs to our fandom's Lord and savior, Vivziepop. This, however, is not a critique of her CURRENT writing skills. Not sure if you noticed, but zoophobia is kinda old. The reason I'm doing this is because I believe that when we analyze stories we love and find flaws within them, we can find ways to improve our own writing. I do not hate Vivziepop, and this is not meant as an attack. Also, you're free to disagree with me. I'm not some godly figure who's always correct. However, I ask that any comments remain civil. If any arguments or whatever break out over this, Imma Chase some bitches with a pool noodle. We good? Let's go.

Oh what a lovely day. I haven't slept all night, and I have ammonia or something. Lovely. What a perfect time to talk about a fictional character. Look, if it's any comfort to the fan girls who come across this, part 2 will have me being more of a fan than a critic. Just bare with me for this, and if worse comes to worse, blame Pika.

As per usual, let's get started with some criticism I don't agree with.
Addison looks like a girl
Alright, first of all, don't read my stories. Second, maybe this is because I live in Canada where the need for equality is pounded into your head every other hour, but...yeah? Dudes can look girly. Have you never seen a girly guy before? If so, how? Now, I'm aware that some people have an issue with this because Addi is gay, and girly gays are a common trope when gays are presented in media. While yes, this is true, Addi being a sort of trope isn't necessarily a bad thing. A trope-y character can still be written well and be entertaining. Besides, it's been said that all original ideas have been done before, so good luck trying to ever find a 100% original character anywhere.

That's about all, but before I tear this character limb from limb, I'd like to go over things I DO like about this character.
He was ok in chapter 3
Yeah, he had problems there too, like when he just stood around and had little to no reaction to his bff turning into a mini cuthulu, but those are not problems exclusive to Addi. He didn't stand out much, per say, but what we got wasn't terrible. His banter with others was fine and even funny at some points.
He has a character motivation
Yeah, his goal to find love is a boring one, but unlike some of our other important characters, he actually has one.
He might be more interesting in the future
Addison is basically an artificial life form created by Xirxene, and not only is Xirxen after him, if Vivz still goes with this concept in the reboot, he apparently has mad sword skills yo, a dark side called Adder, and can summon two giant ass snakes. If that concept is still going to be used, then hell yeah, I'm down for that shit

Now the moment we've been waiting for. What do I have against Addi? Why do I find him annoying as a critic of zp? Grab a cup of maple syrup, because this'll be a doozy. I'll order my issues from least bothersome to the most.
His relationship with Gustav
Ok, I think we can all agree that this relationship was poorly done. While I myself have no problems with this pairing, the way Vivz had them come together was shit. Gustav looks like a pedo creep hitting on a student, and Addi looks like an idiot as he just lets Gustav insult one of his friends. Their relationship is hasty, and the only apparent attraction they have for each other is their looks (and Addi looking like a 12 year old doesn't really help Gustav's pedo case. Don't worry, any concerned readers, there isn't any pedophilia going on. Addi has apparently been aged up to 17, and Gustav is 19)
Just to clarify, hasty relationships in stories aren't in themselves a bad thing. This could serve as a reflection on both the characters. Perhaps they fall in love easily. Perhaps their just the type of people who'd do these sorts of things. The problem here is that Addi is the only one of the two who seems like he'd do this. It's stated by Dame (who could be hyperbolising here for all we know ) that Addi throws himself at guys very often. Gustav, however, doesn't seem to have anything about him that'd suggest he'd be down for dating someone he just met.
You know how this relationship could be fixed? Gustav is 19, so he would've graduated only a year or so ago. So, have him and Addi be old friends who hung out before Gustav graduated. Perhaps have them have an attraction to each other that was initially waved off by Gustav at first, but now he's back, he might be interested now. Also, have them be attracted to each other for more then just looks. Perhaps they respect each other's talents, perhaps they have similar interests. That'd make their relationship a little more believable.
His personality
You know, in all my time spent in the zp fan base, I've noticed that the majority of Addi fans like him because he's cute. Not because of his personality. Just because he's cute. I mean, I don't entirely blame them for focusing on his appearance more because his personality. .....woof.
Zoophobiacomic.com describes his personality as the following;
" Addison likes to keep to himself and spends most of his time working in the Art Wing. While he doesn’t often open up to others and can sometimes hide away an air of elitism, he has developed a close friendship with his classmates Damian and Sahara. Their outward energy and enthusiasm has begun to counteract Addison’s typically introverted nature"
So he's shy, and a bit of an elitist, and he's slowly becoming more self confident. Ok.....now let's look at what the comic itself presents us. For one thing, he's surprising sassy, especially in ch3, not just to Dame, but to Leeson the crazy priest as well. He's also surprisingly self centered. Look at how he reacts to Dame being a shit to other people compared to how he reacts to Dame being a shit to him. Orchestrating an event that gets your cousin set on fire? That's ok. Preventing Addi from going on a date? That bastard! He doesn't even seem to care when Gustav insults one of his best friends. He also doesn't show any regret about attacking Mackenzie. Him having these traits aren't a problem, but this raises a bit of a concern for me since I don't think this is the impression we're supposed to get from his character.
His dumbass decisions
Yes Addison, go off on a date with some sexy random dude when there's an entire organization after you and you have no way of defending yourself. 10/10. 100/100. A+. Gold Star, Gud Job, Perfect Logic, Go buy a colouring book you infant!
His PTSD
Let me get one thing strsight (so at least one thing in this post isn't gay af), I don't have an issue with him having PTSD. My problem is how it's handled. The story acts like Addi attacking Mackenzie is just peachy keen because it was triggered by his ptsd. Except guess what? It isn't.
I'm going to be honest, I (someone with more then one handicap) hate it when those with disabilities are treated like babies, and The world must conform to their needs, and nothing is their fault because mashed potatoes. Look, a handicap can affect how you live your life, but it doesn't mean you get a free ticket to easy street. If anything, your life gets harder. And guess what? People babying you and pretending that your disability prevents you from any fault DOESN'T HELP. IT MAKES YOU WORSE. I'll use one of my own handicaps as an example. I have Auditory Processing Disorder. One symptom is that I can't hear myself, do I often talk incredibly loudly without realising it. Now imagine I went through life always yelling because no one told me to take it down a peg. Soon, yelling would become a habit, and it'd be a much harder problem to fix.
You guys starting to realize why other characters acting like Addi did nothing wrong bothers me? That's not how you react when someone with a disability does something like Addi does. It also makes me concerned that the comic will continue down the route of "oh, he has a disorder, so he's not really at fault ", excusing various bad things Addi does on his PTSD.

He nodded as he released the bludger, it flying towards you as you swung.
Thunk
You managed to hit it on the first go. Hit after hit, releasing every ounce of frustration that stupid essay had conjured up, and allowing your boyfriend's shouts of encouragement to fuel each swing.
It might have been 10 minutes, it might have been 10 hours but eventually, you were calm and had a glint of determination in cutting through your cocoa-coloured orbs like a golden lightning strike.
James thought you looked like perfection.
"You know baby, I am quite glad Ravenclaw hasn't made you their beater. Don't think we'd stand a chance."
Playfully hitting his broad chest before interlocking your arm with his as you strut towards the castle. "Thank you Jamie, that was just what I needed. Now let's go nail this essay"
If you hadn't been so pleased with yourself, you might have heard the love-sick whisper leave the bespectacled man's mouth.
