hoping and begging that fabian in the bard classes this year and what we’ve seen of terpsichore so far means that we’ll get to see more of fabian dealing with some of his issues this season. i think brennan tried to set it up sophomore year after fabian’s No Good Very Bad Day in Leviathan, but all of the bad kids reacted SO poorly to fabian’s actual emotional state after that, that it never happened. i want a deeper dive into fabian and i want him to seek help <3 that’s all.

Generally I’d say that yes, TotK is better than Botw which is amazing—except one thing.

No it’s not botw’s bombs (rip bombs I love you) no it’s not the Champion abilities (loved those too)

…it’s the trees. The goddam trees don’t attack you in Botw. The first time it happened in TotK it scared the shit out of me. Now I just hate it.

Because listen. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the pretty nature in Zelda, okay? I want to pick mushrooms in the forest and look for honey combs in the rustling quiet. I want to camp by a lonely lake decorated with fireflies. I want to catch fish where no one can bother me.

In the Depths? Sure. Send the creepy trees. Fits the vibe, I get it. But not on the surface. I want pick my fucking apples in peace, alright?

Larian really does have its favorites, huh. Everyone else can just choke. Wyll gets the worst of it, for sure. Especially from fandom, but what’s wild to me is why they would even create characters they don’t even seem to like?? Gale is regularly mocked and treated like the butt of the joke in the text. And his sacrifice is supposed to be the “best ending”. Fuck right off, Larian.

Tam should have released Gisela not Rayni

I’m genuinely frustrated with the fact that Glimmer/Rayni was the one to release Gisela

i think it should have been Tam

because it would have shown how manipulative she is. that no matter how stubborn or how hard you try to keep her out Gisela can get into your head and get you do do what she wants. it would show how dangerous she is and what kind of person they where really up against

i wanted Tam to go to go too confront Gisela to tell her that she was going to be locked in Exile and she wasn’t gonna hurt anyone ever again

but she slowly gets into she knows he could care less about his own safety she tells him that it would better for Rayni and for him if he released her because she would make her life as difficult as possible if he didn’t. telling him that she will tell the council everything that Rayni had done. after all she gave Rayni she betrayed her, that she would make sure that Rayni got her mind broken because traitors deserved to be punished.

but if he did release her, she wouldn’t have the need to tell the council anything and she’d even give a little information in exchange as a thank you.

he ends up questioning Rayni’s safety Linh’s safety, what if they got hurt? they hurt them enough as by Gisela if she was caught she was gonna hurt them more, maybe it was better to let her go.he gets stuck in a loop and question’s everything and if what he was doing is right. she gets in his head enough to get him to release her.

after she escapes Tam light leaps away back to Sorlef, and realizes exactly what he had just done and how he had been manipulated, that he just proved the people calling him a traitor right, and he hides away in his room out of fear and guilt

Following so many people reading or rereading RotE is amazing but it’s meant that they all get to Fools Fate eventually and I have to keep experiencing my least favorite ending of any book ever over and over again it is destroying my sanity

Thinking about that one time in middle shcool we where given two papers on why adhd was fake and a scam and caused by video games and one about how adhd is real you fucking idiots. And we had to write an essay based of the evidence In one of the papers but I had lost two of the papers the adhd is real one and one of the adhd is fake ones. Anyways so because of a symptom of my adhd I had to write an essay on why adhd is fake. I got dignosed a year later.
