My Problem with Rachel ending up with Ross goes so beyond all their drama as a couple and as broken up ex’s and as pre couple, cause their relationship was dramadramadrama, but beyond that, by the series finale, Rachel was a completely different person who had so obviously outgrown Ross, and she had been in a relationship with Joey for so long, that even though they barely had their romance, she knew what it meant to be close with someone and be loved the way she deserved, healthy and stable and communicative, Rachel had that with Joey for their whole friendship and time as roommates and brief romance, so even if she didn’t end up with Joey, she could have chosen to do best by herself and go to Paris as a single mom and live on her own terms, and that would have been an amazing deserved ending for Rachel Green. But instead she gave up her dream job to go back to a guy that never treated her right and I’m still mad about it.
