It's not excellent by any means, and I didn't change my 'M/ic' voice, only the A/izawa one, but first attempts and all that! I've been working on this for a bit, and decided it's either 'post it' or 'let it keep consuming me', so I'm going with posting!

been coming to terms with the fact that as someone 20 and lacking the grades or interest for post secs that let you dorm im never really going to have that sort of experience. which is a bit sucky yah i think that getting the in-between stage before actually moving out is likely mad useful not to mention uhh more levels of freedom and the bonus fun that is having to make friends with random people because now u live with them (that was always my favorite part of summer camp as a kid) ACTUAL POINT BEING: since i'll never get that... boy oh boy am i living vicariously through you. very much enjoy every chunk of "hella goes to uni" ur basically my newspaper so cheers !!♡♡♡

I have a lot of thought about this! Earthspark Spoilers under cut!
1)Bumblebee def needs a hug and I really hope he will receive some, poor guy! That's a great set up for his character arc as well, which I thinking will happen in second season. His struggles with the alt-mode, agent Schloder being so obsessed and incredibly angry as Bee, and the whole thing with Breakdown. Can't wait to see how this gonna play out.
2) Yeah I also wonder who will treat Bumblebee's injuries? Will it be one of Autobot medic? Or one of Terrans will take this role?
3) About Optimus it's very interesting how he was absent, there are mostly theories how he's being mind controlled by GHOST and such so I wont repeat those, bc I have an additional thought that maybe Optimus is working on better solution. Perhaps with work with some government people to get legal protections for cybertronians on Earth, but he must do this in secret bc GHOST might find out ( and lets face it, Megatron is unreliable in current state).
The reason why no one think of this is bc everyone projecting IDW, and I sincerely hope the ES writers didn't go the exactly same path as comics. Decepticons being oppressed while being the military faction, and Autobots being the oppressors while they are mostly represented by civilians and workers never sits well with me. Besides there an an official continuity where the roles are reversed and it's called Shattered Glass.
Ofc there is still big possibility that writer still copied the IDW formula, which would be super disappointing to me, but I'll live. As long as they butcher Bumblebee ahaha.
But so far I do like it what I see in the show in current state. GHOST being corrupted organization ( and we don't know if it was always corrupted or it got corrupted over years) but it's the only somewhat support Autobots had and Optimus knows it and he also knows it will affect everyone (which why he hides a lot of Autobots and Terrans in first place). And he's know there is some shady shit on, but doesn't know what exactly (and same with half of GHOST bc Schoder isn't aware either) that's he's trying to find a better way.
(Side Note: Tbh, I think about how Croft's possible end goal is got get full control over cybertronians ( and even over humans, we saw how immediately she gain full control over Mandroid and he fails to see it bc of his own hatred) to use them as war machines to her army! Even Optimus kinds implied it when he said "I'm afraid GHOST might use them (Terrans) as asset", like asset for what? There is only one answer for it and we all know military do with those assets.)
Optimus is very interesting, he's really in bad situation right now, and he tries his best to solve it, but its really difficult and he often has to morally compromise just to prevent another war from starting.
And Megatron, even tho he good intentions to break down the oppressive system on Cybertron, he failed, and the main reason why he failed bc he surrounded himself with enemies like Shockwave (which I'm surprised on one else pointed this out yet). So his faction turned into yet another tool of oppression, bringing the war to Earth and trying to conquer it. And what I find interesting is just the fact Megatron isn't there yet!
Right now to me he appears to be someone, who only started to accepts his mistakes, but he doesn't take full responsibility yet. He doesn't realize that his movement was doomed to fail bc of ppl like Shockwave and the fact his still call him a friend after how badly Shockwave treated Terrans really screams it.
And if this gonna be a story not how Megatron isn't actually a traitor of Decepticons, but he was surrounded by traitors and Megatron finally realising it - this would be very cool and thousands times better than whatever it was in IDW!
And I much prefer the situation that a lot of cons joined the cause bc they were ether lied to, or were in desperate situation and Shockwave took advantage of this. This would make perfect sense for "not all cons are evil" and "cons are evil and they choose to be".

Scum do you play much indie otome? If you are open would you accept suggestions? What kind of themes would you prefer?
I wouldnt mind suggestions, but I feel like I am picky, so I hope it wont be a letdown if I dont play them or dont enjoy them much. And currently, I don't have really much money to spare ahaha so if its for a console i wont be able to play it for a while.
That said, hm. What would count as indie? From what I can remember, the otome titles I have played are the cybird ones in en (rev and sengoku included), i used to play voltage games but I really disliked a lot of things about them and stopped.
I tried playing nameless and disliked it, and amnesia too i think? I also played Niflheim (skeletiano was my fave until they turned him human) and the same company's ninja game. And the wizardess heart game, and the vamp game. (Blood and something?), and then I also played mysme of course. I didnt even try the ssum though.
I bought cupid parasite to play, but let someone borrow it instead. They're busy with school atm. An ex friend sent me code realize (i dont know if there are multiple, I think there is? Its one with the peggable scientist guy, and the girl kills people with touch?)
I think that covers alll the otome i've tried for longer than a day.... i think. I am pretty sure those dont count as indie.
Ive been recommended touchstarved, but I have not looked into it much yet, I just know Dan sings the opening song?
Here is what I usually look for in otomes:
- not a school setting. I'm almost 30 and its really difficult to immerse myself in school settings when i work a 40hr a week office job.
- i like the leads to be older than 18... the closer to 25 or older the better (older always better imo)
- if its an app, events being not mandatory for progressing through main routes
- i dont mind dark themes (played dmmd when it came out with an fan eng translation patch), I like horror a lot so I am used to a lot of darker things
- I am drawing a blank AHAHAHA most of the time the first two bullet points rule out 90% of the otomes I stumble on.
Typically I also look at artstyle and how flat the characters feel, too. I feel like it can be argued some cybird charas are flat, but one of my favorite aspects about cybird games is that the suitors have relationships with those around them. Not romantic, but that they have friendships and other things they do besides seek the MC out.

why are people on twt calling himeno a groomer?? i feel like they havent even read the manga like what…
so its not just me who is confused that people somehow got that idea lmao...maybe its just a vocal minority. from what ive seen they think himeno had a crush on aki when he was a minor when that was never explicitly stated. she only showed basic human care and sympathy for aki because she didnt want to go through the trauma of losing another buddy. and some interpreted that as her having a crush on him as a minor. i thought it was clear that she fell in love with him over the years. all she wanted was for aki to live a normal life. plus they propelled eachothers development as characters so much, aki got himeno out of her depression, and himeno got aki to break out of his shell. i thought they had a beautiful relationship
also i dont think its commonly known that the legal age of adulthood in japan is 20 and not 18. so people think aki was 16 when he met himeno when he was actually around 18. (i think he joined public safety after graduating high school) (tangent: it seems its widely accepted that aki is 19 because they think him being 3 years denjis senior means he is 3 years older than him, when actually it means he just has 3 years more experience at public safety. and aki being 19 doesnt even make sense because he is seen smoking and drinking multiple times??? which he cant legally do if he is 19. so why do so many people think he is 19 uuuUUUU...)
sigh but its also twitter so what do you expect 😅 i just block anyone who says those things...i really like himeno so ahaha. and i also ship akihime although not as much as him and angel. i wont post akihime that often but i will from time to time. this goes out to everyone, if you dont like that, feel free to unfollow me. lets just go our separate ways and not bother eachother, ok?
