why are people on twt calling himeno a groomer?? i feel like they havent even read the manga like what…

so its not just me who is confused that people somehow got that idea lmao...maybe its just a vocal minority. from what ive seen they think himeno had a crush on aki when he was a minor when that was never explicitly stated. she only showed basic human care and sympathy for aki because she didnt want to go through the trauma of losing another buddy. and some interpreted that as her having a crush on him as a minor. i thought it was clear that she fell in love with him over the years. all she wanted was for aki to live a normal life. plus they propelled eachothers development as characters so much, aki got himeno out of her depression, and himeno got aki to break out of his shell. i thought they had a beautiful relationship

also i dont think its commonly known that the legal age of adulthood in japan is 20 and not 18. so people think aki was 16 when he met himeno when he was actually around 18. (i think he joined public safety after graduating high school) (tangent: it seems its widely accepted that aki is 19 because they think him being 3 years denjis senior means he is 3 years older than him, when actually it means he just has 3 years more experience at public safety. and aki being 19 doesnt even make sense because he is seen smoking and drinking multiple times??? which he cant legally do if he is 19. so why do so many people think he is 19 uuuUUUU...)

sigh but its also twitter so what do you expect 😅 i just block anyone who says those things...i really like himeno so ahaha. and i also ship akihime although not as much as him and angel. i wont post akihime that often but i will from time to time. this goes out to everyone, if you dont like that, feel free to unfollow me. lets just go our separate ways and not bother eachother, ok?
