Keefe had painted a girl standing in the grass. A girl with blonde tresses and a pink sweater and a white skirt, staring off at the horizon. And was she losing her mind, or was she wearing that same exact outfit when she and Keefe had their first tutoring session? (throwback to one of the earlier chapters, do any of you remember?)

“Sophie?” He breathed, a wrinkled appearing between his brows.

“Keefe.”

“Sophie…” Keefe’s voice broke halfway and he swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. “You’re–you’re not supposed to be here.”

“You’ve had quite the influence on me, then.”

“No, seriously. I’m okay, just–” He sniffled dramatically. “Allergies.” He winced as the lie fell from his lips, knowing it was a shitty excuse.

“Spring started back in March, Keefe. It’s May now. Don’t you think I would’ve noticed your so-called ‘allergies’ back then?”

Sure, he looked like a wreck, but…he also looked good. Handsome, even.

Hey! Just want to say I'm gonna try get back to writing soon. I just got my first job and somehow that's motivating me to write? Kinda like what happened with the exams, once I have something else to focus on my brain decides to give motivation towards my interests which I haven't touched all summer. (It's either the job or the fact that I just binged Good Omens season 2 and the g/t scene got me thinking about writing again)

I'll try get the next part of 'Part of that World' out soon. In truth I have majority written out but there's a part in it I'm not so sure I like. Only issue is that part is like 1000 words long so I'm not sure I wanna completely take it out. Idk. I might start looking for a beta reader. We shall see!

For now though I just want to say a big thank you for all the support my stories have been getting. It makes me beyond happy to see people enjoying what I have to put out!
