I'm the anon that requested the poly zib + mitzi and I'm here to word vomit my thoughts to you today !!

Imagine Atlas and Mitzi's wedding, you and Zib are attending of course, maybe you're even in it.

It's at the reception that the dread creeps in and you realize Mitzi's long gone from herself. She's hanging onto Atlas' arm, talking off the ear of some businessman and his wife, "making connections," she says.

You congratulate them on the marriage of course, she thanks you, but her response is out of the ordinary, it's like you're some random stranger to her, not her past lover.

You can tell Zib has fully realized your relationship with Mitzi is gone by the fact that he's been downing drink after drink after drink with no real end in sight.

You decide not to bother him.

Maybe you try to speak with Mitzi more, but to no avail, she keeps politely shooing you away and you can tell Atlas is getting irritated. You give up by that point.

Weddings have ends of course, at the end of the night you watch Mitzi and her husband ride off into the proverbial sunset.

It's when their car is officially out of sight that Zib breaks down into a drunken stupor. He sits down on the curb, curls up into a ball, and just *cries.*

You sit down next to him, holding him in your arms, maybe you cry too.

So you both hold each other well into the night, trying your best to accept the situation that-

What you had with Mitzi is gone.
