dogs caught what i believed was some kind of black bird up until i whisked it away and realized it was a hawk or falcon chick? i had to relocate it 3 times because they kept finding it again before i finally plopped it down into our open shed which conveniently gives a little birdie plenty of hiding spots

but i was still worried about it possibly starving and it was unclear if the parents were near or not so i put down some water and leftover bird feed (even though i doubted it would probably eat it) and left it alone

checked up on it today and not only does it sound healthy, it looks like one of its parents is keeping an eye on the little guy 🙏

#it couldnt even peep anymore by the time i moved it for the last time so now that its nice and LOUD when it heard its parent fly in and out #i assume its getting fed and taken care of #i wasnt sure if i shouldve taken it to a wildlife center or not #its like? half grown i think?#and if its parents are taking care of it once it can fly im sure it'll be alright #i can pop in every few days i guess to see if its still screaming its little head off #or at least make sure my dogs dont get a hold of it anymore #poor guy was stubborn and got smacked around for a while before i eventually woke up and snatched it away #but man i wasnt sure if it was still there #i snooped around and didnt hear or see anything for a few minutes until i stood still for a bit #and saw another falcon pop in; see me; and flew right back out #but after it did that the chick started to scream lol #ur fine little buddy #oughhgh ok i stayed up way past my bedtime just to wait to go check on it #mimis time...

I recently got out of a toxic and unhealthy friendship on here. I had to be the one to end it; hopefully the other party decides to leave it be and not smear my name due to realizing it wasn't healthy and that I had to end it because of it.

Basically, if someone makes you start feeling like shit, from your life, to your goals, passion, and everything else, then it's not a rewarding friendship. And it's hard to sometimes see it in the moment. Because you want to think the best of peeps, especially ones you care about.

But sometimes the healthiest thing for You is to know when to put your foot down and end it, even if it hurts you and them. At the end of the day, you matter and what you're doing matters and no one has the right to make you feel shit for who you are when you're just living your life. Life is hard enough without adding peeps who make you feel that way or question how you live when, prior to them showing up, you were happy with all of it.

To anyone in a relationship or friendship like that, I hope, like me, you are able to take a stand and realize you deserve better.

I knew I was being manipulated but not how much until I talked to others close to me. I pray you all never have to experience such a thing because damn, you know you did the right thing, but feel so fucking guilty at the same time.

But your happiness matters. You matter. Please remember that.

the anons are making assumptions which i'm confused about, but than again i am just all over the place sometimes so i get it. i have never said i was above "drama" can't consider this last thing as drama honestly considering the topic and disgust i am feeling, oh and being petty and mean. its just reserved for one person and associates cause i enabled some bullshit with him being a depressed loser. now i just say whatever on my blog and deal with it like an adult. its good to suffer consequences for yapping.

Officially Archived!

Since I copied my entire theme with my links already set up, the blog setup didn't take too long. That being said, my new Minato blog is complete. Now all that's left is to follow all my main peeps back. Plus moving all my current threads into drafts/new posts.

So a little work is left to do, but this blog is officially archived. I want to take a minute to thank every single one of you who rp with me and continues to write with me despite my sporadic and messy routine lately in an attempt to be here that failed many times due to my own failure to handle things.

I know I haven't been able to get to everything and everyone. But the fact that there are people who want to rp with me, is so awesome and means so much to me.

I promise to try and be better with things on my newer blog All I ask is that you bear with me as I will be more careful to not overload myself this time considering Asks and Starters. This means I will be a bit more critical of my limitations as opposed to trying to write with everyone at once (Which is what I've always tried to do, but realized its impossible to get to everyone)

For those of you who may choose not to follow my new blog, I'm sorry that I couldn't be quick enough to reply to things, it means a lot even if you just showed interest. I wish those who may not follow my new blog all the very best, in your IRL and Rp endeavors.

To those who will be returning(I hope some are tbh) I sincerely thank you for continuing to be an rp writing partner and my friend. specifically looking at the hewitts since granted i know more on the remakes than the others but,

the hewitts only got vague, limited police action looking into them in '03 after erin chops thomas' arm off and gets away. and even though theres' coverage of it and everything, that literally ONLY happens after 4-5 straight years of the hewitts doing what they do, from 69-73 in terms of solely the remake timeline.

that's still a shitton of time to be ACTIVELY killing people to y'know. not fucking die yourselves. then combine that with the sawyers - their additional family members, their own trails of ruthlessness added into the mix, and this entire combined family unit likely has kill counts all around in the hundreds if not even way past that.

but even with the police involvement in the remakes?

its all SO SLOPPY, its hardly conducted with any real CARE about their own well-beings. like??? ya'll went into that house while THOMAS was STILL THERE... didnt even SECURE THE HOUSE.....

and even with the found footage? no arrests, presumably. the remaining hewitts are still at large, thomas is still at large. like... all ya'll did was corral them to their fucking confusing ass tunnel system and made luda (if we count the comics) far more involved and ruthless in the actual killings than she was in the movies lol

and yes technically speaking with charlie's death that could sever the stronghold they've got on the police and sheriffs' around them - but at the same time - how bad would it look of them to SUDDENLY flip a switch and try to unpack the years worth of missing persons, cold cases, murders, kidnappings, break-ins, assaults, etc etc that they swept under the rug? that's WAY too much man power, esp for back then. no one is gonna do that shit.

so. i truly dont think they have much to worry about even in the event of charlie dying - because the fear and influence they've instilled stands for law enforcement to continue to do fuck all - to save and cover their own asses.

Apologies for the lack of activity this weekend too after an entire week of not being productive IC. I had to recover hours of sleep and besides that I felt like I needed a bit of a break to rest, which did wonders to me. Just four days more to go and I'll be on Christmas break which is of two weeks, enough to get back in full swing!
