i just read the whole statement about the boycott and lemme just say my two cents (agreeing with you btw)

suju fans had to buy stocks to make sm listen to them. lemme say it again. SUJU FANS HAVE TO BUY STOCKS to make sm listen to them. yes this was decades ago but it still applies do yall really think sm will listen if it doesnt benefit THEM.

i just hope that this boycott is resolved soon so riize can have the best comeback ever but with their popularity in korea im sure it’ll be a successful comeback regardless heh.

Requested by anon: Hi, I would like to request an imagine with siwon from super junior where the f reader is also an idol, 10 years younger than him, very popular among boys, and after 5 months dating siwon, he realizes that many male idols around her age want to be with her, so he gets very insecure and she comforts him after finding out why he was sad

A/n: this one took me much longer to write than i planned, but i'm happy with it and i hope you all enjoy it!

Tunes: not a tune, but i was (re)watching many episodes of seasons 3 and 4 of attack on titan while writing this piece.

You huffed as your dance sequence came to an end once again during the dress rehearsal for the music show. Letting your arms fall from their final positions, you stretched humming as your back cracked in the most satisfying way possible. For being almost 28 years old, your body sure felt worse after each and every single one of those elaborate and complex dance choreographies. Looking back on that fact, it could easily be the result of the last decade of back to back comebacks with little to no rest in between. After all, when you’re in an industry where long hiatuses can be the difference between success and failure for Kpop groups - among other factors - resting is not really an option.

No matter how popular you may be.

“Alright Moonlight,” you heard the director call out through a megaphone. “Good work. Go get some rest. Super Junior you’re up!”

As you walked off the stage with your four group members, you passed the veteran group dressed to the nines in their suits for their upcoming comeback. With quick and practiced bows, the five of you rushed back to the dressing room you had been assigned. You lingered a bit as Siwon walked by you, sending him a soft smile, your hands brushing against one another.

“Let’s meet tonight,” you whispered, eye brightening as he smiled back and nodded.

“My place,” he whispered back. “After the final recording.”

“You guys just keep getting better every comeback,” the director commented as he dismissed the veteran boy group to rest before the final taping as well. “We can always count on you veterans to give a good show.”

The rowdy group messed around with one another as they walked off the stage. Despite each of of the men steadily approaching their mid to late thirties - save for the oldest two who were already forty - the tired feelings that echoed in their bones immediately after they finished their rehearsal had disappeared in an instant and they were back to acting and feeling like the young men they were when they first stepped foot onto the stage.

Much like back then, Siwon’s ear picked up the chatter of groups around him stepping onto the stage and waiting for their groups' turn to practice alike. Normally he would not have given the chatter and gossip much thought, but since he heard the comments being made about you as he was waiting for his own rehearsal, his ear instinctively tuned into the conversations straining to hear any mention of your name.

“She’s totally my type,” he heard some boy group member, someone he was able to identify as having debuted within the same month as you did, comment to another member of his group. “She’s so pretty and she can dance like it’s no one’s business.”

“She’s everyone’s type,” another guy said, joining in on their conversation. “She’s such a great performer it’s hard not to like her in that department, but I heard that she’s even nicer in person, not to mention she talks about wanting to be in a serious relationship that will lead to marriage. If I could wife her up I would. Settling down with her sounds like a dream.”

His brows furrowed at the words he heard. He knew better than to get jealous about it seeing as the two of you had only been officially dating - albeit in private - for the past five months. It would be wrong to assume things were more serious than they were, even more wrong to get possessive over you. After all, these boys were much closer in age to you than he was. Maybe he really should have thought about the problems and insecurities that would come with dating someone a whole decade younger than him.

Especially someone as likable and admirable as you. The It Girl. That girl.

Still, hearing you being spoken about in such a manner was sickening. Siwon clenched his fists at his sides, slowing slightly and making a move to head over in their direction before Jeongsoo grabbed his upper arm, pulling him back.

“Just ignore them,” he warned. “We don’t need this kind of scandal.”

Siwon let out a deep breath, closing his eyes and continuing his walk. His older friend was right. He had much more important things that he needed to focus on, not to mention that he was the person that got to see you in the domestic ways that those boys could only ever dream of.

You sighed in relief as you leaned against the elevator wall as it rose up. If you thought your muscles were sore during the rehearsals, now that the final taping was over and you finally got a chance to breathe away from the spotlight that was the entertainment industry. As much as you loved being a part of it, it was the most tiring thing you had ever experienced. You were truly thankful for the man you were currently on your way to visit. He was one of the few people who gave you a sense of being a normal person.

The ding from the elevator, forced your eyes to open and you pushed yourself from the wall walking out the door and down the hall to the door of the apartment you were no stranger to. Stopping in front of the door you punched in the passcode, stepping inside as quickly as you could and kicking off your shoes and sliding your feet into a pair of slippers - a pair Siwon had bought specific for you and that matched his. Not seeing his slippers by the door, you assumed Siwon had arrived before you, and given the sound of the footsteps nearing, it seems you were right.

“You rushed home,” you chuckled, seeing your lover’s figure fill the entryway. “Did your rehearsals and taping go well?”

“About as well as they could go,” he hummed, pulling you into a hug. “How about yours?”

“We got all sorts of praises and compliments from everyone. They really liked the choreography that we have this comeback.”

Siwon frowned, pulling away and walking further into the apartment, “Really.”

You nodded as you followed after, taking note of the smell of cooked food as you did you - and also noting the somber aura that was filling the space between the two of you.

“Hey, is everything alright?” you asked.

Siwon entertained the idea of lying or making some bullshirt excuse for a split second before tossing it out almost as quickly as it had appeared. He was too old to be moping about something so trivial rather than being open and upfront about it.

“I heard some of the members from other groups talking about you as we were leaving the stage after our rehearsal,” he began, not looking at you. “How you’re their ideal type and whatnot. I won't deny that it made me feel insecure - seeing as I’m a good decade older than you and they’re much closer to you in age - although admitting it makes me feel foolish and like a whiny, brat.”

“Siwon,” you sighed. “Did it really bother you that much?”

He stopped turning to look at you, “It did. I can’t even begin to explain how much it hurts to know that my old ass could never keep up with you like them. I’m so wasted.”

“Stop that,” you scolded. “Don’t you dare talk about yourself like that.” Siwon didn’t say a word, simply staring at you as you cupped his face, pressing your forehead to his. “I never dated you for being old or not being old. And I certainly don’t care if I’m anyone else’s ideal type or not. I’m your girlfriend, am I not?”

Siwon smiled softly, realizing your words were true and he knew that. He knew that very well, which was why he found his insecurities so shameful to even consider. You had done nothing but make him feel secure in your relationship, just as secure as he had always made you.

“So what if I’m their ideal type? You don’t have a single thing you need to worry about because they aren’t and will never be you, Siwon. You are the only one I want - all I want.”

With that, Siwon finally cracked a full smile - close lipped, but full.

“Now, let’s eat, I’m starving.”

Taemin leaving SM; a retrospective rant from a severely uneducated and overly caffeinated fan.

I have thoughts about Taemin leaving SM and by extention Onew too. Might as well drag Minho and Key into this.

Since this is majorly about Taemin, let's talk about him first.

Taemin & SM (pre-NGDA era)

Taemin has been with the company for 16 years, closer to 19 if you count his trainee days. As an older shawol (LLO-era, got me whipped BAD), it was seriously out of the blue that Taemin would be the first to debut solo. SM at the time (i.e in their prime) was a vocal powerhouse and I genuinely thought Jonghyun would be the first one to go solo. SM made the right decision dedicating time and resources in letting him shine and 'Ace' was a phenomenal debut album for Taemin and really stamped that 'Taemin vibe/sound' we all know and love' Generally speaking SM not the best for promotions/scheduling, but the company still had their shit together when 'Move' came out, it felt like it was everywhere and surpassed the noteriety Guilty had achieved. I feel like when Taemin does variety shows, up to now, Move was always the most referenced and remembered act, even amongst the junior idols, that he did and thats because SM did go hard on promoting that song and picked a quiet month to do that comback in.

Taemin vs SM (during/post-NGDA era)

Somewhere along the lines, SM really dropped the ball with promoting Act 1 especially during Taemin's 'Criminal' comeback. They heavily prioritized their newer groups and suddenly their legendary acts were getting shafted with poor promotions and what felt like less dedicated management and resources. I recall, SM postponed the release for Criminal, squashed Taemin in Super-M activties and focused on their new acts while simultaneously over working them (honestly Mark has had such a hectic few years). My internal speculation/assumtion is that, SM figured that acts like SuJu, EXO, SHINee, GG and RV and solo/ duo units, wouldn't need as much dedicated promotions because they are iconic acts and they are fully dependant on fanbases to generate the buzz. Which leads me to my main hypothesis that after a few years of being active, SM really does not care about an artist anymore. Mind you artists that put them on the fucking map to begin with. SM won't double down on these artists because they believe they can't appeal to a younger audience. With the shitshow that was the Criminal promotions. SM really didn't do any better with 'Advice'. Pinning aespa's comeback a day before was a low blow instead of focusing on the talent that's about to go into the military, if they are aware enough to give Taemin a mini comeback so his relevancy sticks throughout his service, why damage it with an aespa release (that felt like it was to tactically avoid facing off the BTS release later than month) and basically doing NOTHING bar announcing pre-orders. Then we enter the 'Guilty' era. Which as we saw was a hit, but mainly because SM capitalized on the power of social media trends, placing Taemin in VARIOUS online contents and slowly dropped related media during winter. I mean we are still not over his 'Guilty' era, the Metamorph concert still has us at a chokehold. I 'd like to think that Taemin became more vocal in what he wanted and expected out of SM when he came back. Obviously the priority to them is/was SHINee and that's fair. DCM did really well with promos (althoughlike most shawols would say, LSM did have a major part to play with that). HOWEVER it was their 15th anniversary comeback last year and I feel like SM treated it like it was just another comeback instead of a major milestone. There were no interviews or press releases for Hard, when events were happening, it felt like it was gate kept to just local fans, like it made me feel like I was living under a rock because it was so last minute and I was not aware of anything. I want to believe that just because SM did an okay job now, excuses them for the last 3 years. What's worse is it's undeniable, Taemin lives to perform and it's no secret he sets some high goals and standard for himself and probably the toll 1) not getting to preform Guilty in GDA, despite wanting to and 2) probably not getting a solid backing for touring globally, despite very vocal fan support. I am not sure if anyone saw that SM forecast for the first two quarters of 2024, but it genuinely feels like Taemin knows that him and SHINee will not be a priority after promotions are finished. I hope I am not dense enough to assume that obviously SHINee has spoken about this privately and internally for a while now. It's really something you can't avoid talking about. Taemin has spoken to his hyungs, people in his circle inside and outside of the industry. Hopefully he is well informed and supported and it seems definite that SHINee is still active as a group.

Key vs SM.

Someone has already mentioned it but if anyone was leaving SM for creative freedom, I genuinely thought it would be Key. 'Bad Love' was an amazing release and Key fought with SM to release with his own brand/aesthetic. Because Taemin's imminent departure is so publicized, SM might be keeping the talks with Minho and Key super under wraps and trying to offer a btter deal. Although recently, bar Good and Great, SM has been using Key as a 'Variety' idol than an actual singer, which sucks because Key is super talented and if SM doesn't recognize that star power now, good luck to them. Also apparently, Kany is signed with BPM? I know she is close with SHInee in general, but I would assume it'd be Key joining her ya'know?

Minho vs SM.

Imma put it out there, the promotions for 'Stay for a Night' was lackluster? I feel like they treat solo Minho and SHINee Minho as two separate entities. Like yes there is a dualism of being a group preformer vs solo preformer. But on the rare occasion SHINee does get promoted Minho seems to get more attention, but as a solo artist, I don't feel the same love for his solo promotions. I hope Minho gets to write and contribute more, which I believe he does in the background. If he does stick to SM, I pray they open other avenues of artistry, primarily, he does really well with his acting roles and yes it really helps that he does fit the 'K-drama ML' look.

Onew vs SM

I feel like Onew gets the short-end of the stick out of the rest of SHINee, never mind that the man has the voice of an angel, but again, he is another one that SM never bothered to market right. It kind of make sense that he would want to leave the company and seek ones that would expand his career inside and outside of singing and while the one good thing SM did recently is make sure Onew was healing and taking care of himself, recent SHINee promo activities feels like they are treating Onew's break as a hush hush 'taboo topic' Honestly, bring back the era where our idols would randomly disappear during promotions because they were casted to be on-stage again. I am still forever clinging onto Onew singing opera, because despite him not being trained for that, he has the talent to do so. It'd be nice to hear him produce his own music, or give acting another shot.

Tae is friend with PSJ. If you know his reputation, then there is no way they would be friends if Tae is gay. So yeah I don't think Tae is gay. It's more of a persona that he created. But offcam? 100% straight. Idol does that a lot. I remember someone fr BigBang or was it SuJu? This idol would kiss his member onstage but off cam is super homophobic. You want to know your idol personalities? Look at who they are friends with and not what they show oncam. Oncam 95% of the time is acting. As what JK said in a recent interview, "I can act too". Yep, you're right JK. You act very well that is why Tkkrs really think you and Tae have something much more than friendship".

I disagree, for one.. I think Tae is more outwardly queer offstage and off camera than he is on camera.

Secondly, I think Park Seo-Joon’s reputation is worse than his person is. The most I’ve seen people reverence in regards to this are old (ten years or so back) comments of him. Seo-Joon is also a product of his society, I think it likely he, as many, has learned and changed his views over time.

Friends do not define you, but also… maybe Tae’s influence on his friends was actually strong enough for them to accept him. People go miles for the ones they love anon. I think your reasoning is a bit odd. Rather than believe Tae is who he shows you, you take secondary ‘evidence’ to be more valuable in assessing his character. If that’s what you think of him, why are you even here?

on the tmnt ask game thingy: gimme a 12 for uh. reasons……. and then a 24 bc i Gotta see the roast

Ooooo thank you for the ask! I was a little confused on the first one because I took it to mean either one turtle that you like every iteration or go down the line iteration by iteration….. I went with the second because I like to ramble, but I’ve only really watched the 90s movies, 2003, bayverse and rise enough to form an opinion or care. No hate on the others just. Shrug. Not my jam right now.

Funnily enough, when I watched 2003 as a kid (8-9 year old) Raph was my favorite. I was a…. Um…. Opinionated, angry kid, shall we say, and I liked that he had a motorcycle and could kick shell, as he often put it. I was a late bloomer in turns of puberty and thinking boys were anything other than cooty filled jerks, so I’m pretty sure my interest in him was platonic at that point (also I got like, hella good at hiding my favorites because I often got picked on for liking things/people growing up)

It wasn’t until I was an adult that I watched the other versions. 90s was definitely Donnie, the amount of chaotic energy there alone made him my favorite. I loved the intro fight in the second movie where he just straight up pretending to be an inflatable turtle.

Bayverse is my main jammy jam, the one that I consistently like to play with. I like all four of the turtles equally in this one *stares straight ahead with a poker face* there is definitely no favoritism going on at all *sweats* - lol. Well, maybe there is, but I go through spurts where I want to delve into different aspects of each of them at different times. There’s definitely an even number of WIPs featuring each on my computer

Rise is. Well. Rise is awesome, but I kinda stand outside the fence and peer over at that fandom. I’m sure everyone is aware that my favorites are the disaster twins in that iteration, but a lot of the fandom lore going around isn’t actually…. Canon? Which is wonderful, but I’m old, and I can’t quite keep up with it all, so there’s just a few people that let me sit in their circle and listen to the stories and then I go back to my corner of the internet.

And for 24. Oh goodness. I’m not a good roaster, but I’ll take Bayverse Leo (still not admitting he’s my favorite bay turtle) to task cuz boy. He runs to his daddy crying an awful lot to fix his problems. He got his personality from an old spaghetti western……. He’s definitely listens to Jpop and pretends to know every word they spit out at the speed of light. Doesn’t know SuJu is, in fact, not j pop nor speaking Japanese.

So now we got NCT Tokyo so now what?? Are they gonna take Yuta out of 127 and put him with the Japan unit and say he'll be back when we all know he's not gonna fkn come back??

Are they debut someone else in 127 to take his place?

You swirl the contents in the pot. It was a rare sight to see you in the kitchen. Not that you'd lack the experience or skill, but you were the worse cook among the two of you, so it was only natural that Jeongsu took responsibility for most of the cooking. Hence the roll of your eyes when he took a break from reading the script for his next MC role to check on you.

"See? Nothing's burned, the kitchen is clean, I have everything under control," you announce proudly as he wraps his arms around your waist from the back.

"I never doubted you," he smiles, pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek, "And I appreciate you cooking. It's a great help." His lips trail down to your jaw, kissing along your jawline before dipping down to your neck.

"Hmm, I can tell," you hum, tilting your head to the side to give him better access.

"But maybe you could leave the cooking for later. I'm getting lonely all by myself," he whispers into your ear before gently sucking on the skin right below it.

"You're so cute when you want something," you chuckle, turning off the stove and covering his hands with your palms.

"Want? Darling I need something," he says as he pulls you closer to him, and you finally feel what exactly got him so affectionate.

"That must be a very interesting script you're reading," you note, something between a yelp and a moan spilling from your lips when he bites the shell of your ear.

"Don't tease me. I just want you close for a while," he murmurs, pressing himself closer to you, his embrace tightening. It's a tempting offer, one you can't say no to. Especially not when his hands slip under your shirt, caressing up and down your sides and your stomach.

"Are you sure I'm not gonna be distracting?" you give in, turning your head slightly to kiss him.

"I'm almost done anyway," he reassures, nipping at your lips, "And if you'll be good and still for me, I can keep reading."

You scoff, now understanding where this is going. You can't complain though, not with how fast you're getting worked up yourself.

"I need to get you ready," he smirks. You whine against his mouth again, fucking yourself on his fingers despite the uncomfortable stretch. You know it'll feel good soon enough and you really want his cock inside already. "And you call me impatient."

You try to give him a deadly glare, but it’s hard to tell whether you’ve succeeded, judging by his endeared smile. Never would you imagine that Jeongsu of all people would get so needy he wouldn’t even let you finish cooking lunch. Not that there was much left to do anyway. Besides, his lap is way more comfortable.

"Always so tight for me," he groans, and you know he’s not any better off than you. Just more patient. Sometimes it’s annoying how good his self-control is. On the plus side, he makes sure he’s not going to hurt you, fingering you slowly until you start moaning softly.

“Jeongsu, baby, I really need you,” you gasp when he starts scissoring his fingers inside you. He chuckles, avoiding your lips chasing after his until you pout at him. You moan into his mouth when he finally allows your lips to crash together. You fist your hands around his shirt, trying to ground yourself and pull him closer.

“Did I make you this needy?” he whispers against your lips, humming happily when you nod, “Good, so good for me.”

You whimper when he pulls his fingers out of you, but you know he’ll give you what you really want soon as he pulls out his dick and strokes himself with the hand glistening with your juices. He laughs when he sees you position yourself right above him without any prompting from his side. Still he helps, guiding your hips as you sink onto him. Jeongsu watches in amusement as you moan and cuddle closer to him, staying still like he’s asked you before.

“Are you comfortable?” he asks, kissing your temple when you lay your head on his shoulder.

“Very,” you purr, pressing a gentle kiss to his neck.

“It does, doesn’t it?” he smiles as he leans his head against yours, “Just give me a few minutes and then I’m all yours. Although I wouldn’t mind staying like this forever.”

This is referring to this post. Yeah sure! Absolutely not annoying me at all, it's fun! I wish more people would talk to me about Suju :( Put beneath a read more cut bcs it will probably be long haha

1. When did you become an ELF? This is sort of hard to quantify, bcs even now I'm not totally sure if I'd consider myself a hardcore enough fan to call myself an "ELF". I first got into Suju when they released Don't Don, bcs that was 100% my shit - rock/metal with a VIOLIN? And a pretty boy screaming??? Bro. So good. When Hangeng inevitably left though I sort of stopped paying attention to them closely - I felt like they were probably going to go through more difficulties and I didn't want to get attached. I kept an eye on Heechul though, bcs I have always loved his voice and tone, whether he's doing screamo in Don't Don or singing rock for M&D or astounding us with rock ballads with Kyunghoon. So if anything I guess I'm not technically an ELF but can classify myself as a Petal since I am definitely a fan of Heechul and always have been. I am only really getting back into them now, so I guess you could say I've been a baby-ELF since Don't Don era and have just never progressed out of that stage haha

11. Your ult bias? & 12. Your bias wrecker? So, @funkywinkyboy and I talked about this recently but I feel like with Suju there aren't ult biases or bias wreckers! I've decided there's a whole different classification for Suju:

The "first and forever bias"

The "they appeared out of nowhere and like a cancerous growth have irrevocably ruined me forever" bias

The "I don't even find them physically/mentally attractive and yet I am drawn to them like a moth to the fucking imploding sun" bias

And then "electron biases" that just float around forever as your little baby (plural) but are not aggravating enough to become the moth to the sun one but also make enough sense that they aren't the cancerous growth one

So if we're following my new classification system lol, Heechul is my first and forever bias, Hyukjae is the cancerous growth bias, Kyuhyun is my moth to the sun bias, and Donghae is my electron bias!

42. Sexiest song or performance? You had to see this coming, considering it's.. well, me, but Hyukjae's VCR from their STYLE tour where he has all the sex toys and bondage equipment and men in heels with floggers chaining him to a bed, etc. That VCR has a grip on my fucking soul. As a domme it is one of my favorite things in the world, and I like the opening performance he does as well, with the chains. You can see the VCR + intro I'm talking about here if you're interested. I am actually in the process of taking screenshots from that VCR and color-correcting them + unblurring them bcs I am so obsessed with it. I'll make one post with them later when I'm done lol, so not gonna add them here 👀 Just gotta keep an eye out for them when I'm done!

70. Funniest or most iconic SuJu moments? God, there's so many. Suju's comedic sense is absolutely phenomenal. Shindong in particular is great at really out of pocket comedic lines. Currently I think my favorite lil moments are Donghae's incessant "Hyukjae~" during their 'Bout You performances, or Leeteuk fighting for his life during No Other while trying to find the camera. Just lil cute things like that I like a lot. Honestly any of the energy of watching Heechul's solo MV behind the scenes too, they're all so unhinged, he just absolutely does not want to be seen as vulnerable and the mental gymnastics he will go through to avoid that is funny lol

99. If SuJu could do anything you wanted, what would you want them to do? (E.g, perform a song live, bring back a member, etc.) I miss Hangeng and Kibum 😭 And ofc Sungmin, but if he was wanted by the group to come back that would have already happened. I feel bad for Kibum bcs he really missed out on all the success Suju had, and Hangeng... just a shitty situation all around for him. I am glad he seems to still be on good terms with the boys tho, and is leading a happy life! Let's see, aside from that... I want SM to do SOMETHING with Zhoumi omg, he wants a Suju-M comeback, give him one :( I also would like a sub-unit with Heechul and Henry doing rock shit, so like.. M&D but with a violin. Obviously that won't ever happen since Henry left but.... pls give me more rock songs! And with violins! ...Man I miss M&D. Pls revive it Heechul, it was so good, I listen to your two albums on repeat still

100. Your favorite thing about SuJu? Burn the Floor? Lmao but seriously, I think my favorite thing about Suju is how they are clearly more than just an idol group. They were originally only supposed to be idols as a sort of back-up to augment their other skills in things like acting and comedy, and it really shows, bcs they excel at those things now too. I love my groups that are attached at the hip and have a close-knit bond that's more than a family, but something about Suju's realistic relationship with one another, where they've grown up and don't always see each other but still (for the most part) get along is nice. It's like being able to see the more realistic side of the industry while still keeping the rose-tinted glasses since they still like one another. You've got to have both to survive I guess - on the one hand you have a group like Pentagon, that will literally waste away into nothingness if they have to be apart from one another, and then on the other hand you've got a group like Suju who is like... I haven't seen one of our members for MONTHS now, I assume he's alive 😂

2. What made you an ELF? Even though I originally was obsessed with Sorry, Sorry when it came out, I never really got into kpop too much because I was busy living my best expat life in Korea. Over the pandemic I started listening to kpop again (moved back home years ago) but mainly girl groups. I watched the new year’s sm town this past year mainly to see Red Velvet but watched some SJ performances and thought “oh wow they got old, but so did I” lmao (the last mv I saw was sexy free and single before this!!!) and “who tf is that?!?” And I went down a very long rabbit hole trying to figure out who this charismatic dancer with great stage performance was….and I haven’t come out of the hole since!

45. A song you want SuJu to cover? I’m so bad at this sort of thing but ever since Kyuhyun was singing “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys for one of those music/word associations videos I thought it would be fun to see them do some 90s boy band covers. On the flip side, something like “Under Pressure” would be so cool.

57. A new subunit you’d like to see? I’m not sure. This one is so hard! Maybe something with more of a sexy R&B concept…with the hyung line?! Something with no choreo so Heechul could be part of it without being concerned about his leg??

96. Any hot takes, unpopular opinions, or critiques? I’m probably gonna get shit for this but up until this summer I really really didn’t like Donghae at all. I just got himbo man baby vibes and couldn’t handle it. But I realize now I think I just misunderstood him. He’s just so awkward when he’s with the whole group that I just want to tell him to be cool lol. But he’s been on a slow burn bias wrecking path for me for a little while now.

No, no it's fine. And joking is the best way to deal with any harder emotions. But he was the absolute amazing little man, I remember there was a video where a disabled fan got to go to Korea to meet Shinee and Suju and my gosh all of Shinee was just so sweet to her but especially Jonghyun, he was just right by her side and attentive. It took me a year to realize he wasn't the leader and even when Onew and Jonghyun met Onew thought he was older then him. It's just his energy.

So I'm pretty spiritual and believe in all of the new age things. And you can at least have the chance to feel his energy. My friend and I have both dreamt about Jonghyun and we both felt his energy the same it's very light and warm and feels like love. One dream I was at a concert on a date with this emo boy and I went to the bathroom but the stall walls were really short so kinda at the height of your head is when you're sitting. So as I was sitting Jonghyun was just laying his arms onto of the stall and talking to me

and another dream. I was in a mall and Chanyeol was standing at a podium with his head shaven while exo and Shinee members were complaining about each other to him. Chanyeol looked so stressed so I linked my arm with his and I laid my head on his shoulder and he seemed calmer meanwhile Jonghyun was smiling at us tilting his head to the side while resting his cheek on his hand. I haven't dreamt about him since but my friend has. I'm not sure if you're the same person who commented on my last dream post about just wanting a dream about Jonghyun but I'm guessing you are sorry if your not my guesses have been off lately. But you can even ask him to visit your dreams. I do that with my grandma all the time it usually takes awhile but I do end up dreaming about her.

No no it's fine! Hahaha I don't mind you asking. I can't really see anyone new to kpop bothering to stan Super Junior at this point since their music was definitely best in the last 2000s/early 2010s, but I will give a brief overview of sort of....the less savory members?? You can Google all their bullshit too further if you want more details but I'll just go with basics

Also Super Junior was the first group I really stanned back in the day so like...idk don't feel bad for not knowing stuff. When real people are involved, you can't know everything someone is up to or into so just don't put anyone on a pedestal and take things as they come haha idk what I'm trying to say it's early. Grey areas.

-Heechul. Creep. Mostly that's it I think idk haha People really don't like him but also he's the member with the most exposure and relevancy still (apart from Eunhyuk but for the most part I think Eunhyuk is fine??? Idk Super Junior D&E still make some good songs and Donghae and Eunhyuk haven't done anything egregious. )

-Kyuhyun. Massively misogynistic and I just don't like the way he talks to people, he's kind of a dick lol so personally I avoid him

-Shindong. Also massively misogynistic and fat phobic despite also being a larger man in an industry where that is not accepted or the norm really. He could have gone one way and been a cool advocate for body diversity but instead he has just doubled down on like...fat men okay but fat women should burn in hell or something. He's also annoying but that's by the by

-Siwon. Also classic misogynist. Might be more but idk haha He's in some good dramas sometimes though. Decent actor haha (terrible dancer lmao but that's the old guard of kpop)

The rest I don't have too much info on anything egregious they've done (apart from members like Kangin that have already been removed from the group because of their issues (note this does not include Seungmin who was basically axed for the crime of getting married or Hangeng who left and sued because of SMs rampant sinophobia problem))

I still listen to a lot of their older songs because they slap haha And they are pretty funny sometimes as a group tbh

Donghae is so serious yet hilarious when dating

I think dating him would automatically make you to the annoying couple with pet names and super affectionate

Let's face it, he's going to hug you every chance he gets

The teasing element in your relationship with Ryeowook is similar to that of Eunhyuk's

And this guy does hold grudges and most definitely pouts when jealous

He's a bit blunt and curt, but he does his best to not be with you

Dates are very low key and may take place at home with homecooked meals

He is very sweet in an indirect way (at first it's indirect at least)

He'll buy things you mentioned liking

Or do things you mentioned not wanting to do yourself

He does try to show off here and there and sometime is can fail

Kyuhyun:

Much like Yesung, Kyuhyun also has a way of showing his affection through action rather than words

Not one to show that side often, but he does when it's an important date or when he really want to lift up your spirit

But since you asked, right now my favorite stages are... maybe the 2019 Smtown in Japan Gravity and the KBS awards For Life?

I have been watching Xiumin's ceo-dol mart, I just have the last couple episodes left. What have you been watching lately?

My favorite bbh moments... are many lol. I love the late night car ride lives he was doing for a while just singing and driving.

Favorite Kyunsoo songs... all of Empathy? I also really like Wonder off the new album.

I don't know that I have a SHINee bias, I feel like it changes every day but I adore them all. For WayV either Ten or Kun (speaking of lovable dorky leaders).

I like SuJu as well (so many good songs!!) I haven't heard any VIXX- what's your song rec? For Pentagon now is probably a rough time to get into them haha but I would recommend looking up Shine and Naughty Boy those are my favorites, or maybe Daisy or Dr. Bebe if you like a more intense concept.

I am not really a true horror fan but I really like the sort of offbeat gothic creepiness (think Addams Family or SHINee Married to the Music energy) and I like having a season to play that up. I don't have any halloween plans, but I decorated! What about you? Do you celebrate Halloween?

to me you can post whatever you want without any resentment, actually by reading your blog and the other answers you give to your followers, it looks like we share some taste in music, not only for the rose. I'm pretty new in the world of kpop, two years ago I got into Want by Taemin and I haven't figure out how I can run away from the rabbit hole. But before it, I used to listen to mainly pop-rock and hard rock music (paramore, old avril lavigne's songs, alter bridge, muse, linkin park, some evanescence's songs)

for example, I started to listen to ateez, that is the only 4th generation kpop group that I listen to, because one day I was listening to Guerilla and there are screams in it, and decided to give it a try, and they are actually good, to me at least

my only 4th gen kpop group is billlie cause they have the same vibe as f(x) (and some of the same producers) and they debuted with the most insane song, i love when kpop does weird key signatures like it used to!!!!!!
