The Wedding of River Song really hits different when you watch everything in her chronological order. "I can't let you die without knowing you are loved by so many and so much. And by no one more than me." But she's barely met him. She met him in Berlin before she was even herself. She doesn't know him and love him through her own interactions with him. She grew up with Amy telling her stories of the space man who said he would come back. She was trained to be a psychopath with one purpose in her life: to kill the Doctor. The one time she met him he told her to tell River Song something (I will die on the hill that he told her to tell River Song that he loves her). Only after that did she realize she was River Song. And then he left her a present. And she became an archeologist because she wanted to find a good man. She learned so much about him by studying him through archeology. And then she's forced to kill him. And she already calls him "my love." And she blows up time because she can't bear to kill him and she doesn't care about the consequences because she'll suffer more than every living thing in the universe if she has to kill him. This man that she was able to fall in love with without hardly ever meeting him because she was supposed to be the perfect weapon against him but she's too full of love to let them turn her into that so she had to do something else with all the knowledge they gave her instead.

Okay but real talk for a second, so far, Ruibo Qian is THE mvp of this new season.

I’m gonna need to have a look at her entire filmography because in a cast full of talented experienced comedians, she is by far the funniest cast member. Her mannerisms and her delivery enhance every single line wrote for her end every single scene she is in!

She is just en absolute show stealer I need to see her in everything forever.

Thoughts on Tunuva (who I *love*): I don’t think it’s that sad that she didn’t leave a “legacy” (no one remembers her in tpotot). Like she said, she didn’t want to stand above her sisters, she wanted to stand beside them. Clearly she wasn’t one for grandiosity, she just wanted to protect people. She did have a huge impact in doing so but I think it’s okay that her name will only be remembered through the carving on a pillar in the priory. I think she would’ve thought that it was only natural.

Plus, I like the message that your actions and your life can be incredibly meaningful no matter what. It’s not necessary for your name to live on, you can still change and shape the world, through who you are and the choices you make.
