What was the au where Jekylls pushed down the stairs and experiences a skull crackening again? Oh well but I've been thinking of a branch of that where Jekyll doesn't know hes dead like all day. I also cant remember if that was already discussed or not

The lodgers patch him up, he complains of a headache, and goes on his merry way! He's confused why all the lodgers are so nervous and being nice to him all of the sudden, why creature is looking at him with a stange mix of empathy and pity. He was told he fell down the stairs, fell unconscious, and obtained a bit of an injury. He cant fathom why Frankenstein is "The only doctor who can treat him" why he has to constantly go to her for checkups. Why Maijabi is suddenly following him practically everywhere.

Hyde squeezes back control for a moment and tries the potion but it doesn't work. Maybe a bit of pain but certainly no transformation. Jekyll assumes his injury or whatever medication they're giving him to treat it somehow negated the effects

Jekyll complains about "suddenly blacking out" the lodgers know its because his soul is slippery. They tell him it must just be a side effect of the injury and not to worry

How long can they keep it secret from him? When does he find out? Does he? Does it get to be years only for him to realize that he hasn't aged? That he still needs checkups from Frankenstein? Does he learn sooner? Does a lodger crack and say it? Does he rot? Does he notice how so very cold he is. How animals act around him? It's all very interesting,,

I actually did think a bit of Jekyll's kidnappers for the amnesia kidnapping au! When drawing that lil sketch of Henry and O'Leary meeting Robert I had considered making it so O'Leary was suspicious of Lanyon like "Oh theres no news anywhere of someone matching Thomas' description who's missing. But some random people walk up claiming to know him? Begging to take him back with them?" And he'd think they were the kidnappers. But ultimately I decided against it as I felt Lanyon and Rachel were pretty clearly, genuinely concerned for "Thomas" :p

I tried playing assassins creed once, the first(?) one. But the controls were confusing and everything was sorta thrown all at me at once, and I got bored of it quickly

But! I went to the store the other day and just so happened to notice Syndicate was being sold for 15 dollars 👀 So I bought it because funky Victorian assassins and your influence! It's a bit less confusing then the first ac game I tried but why is going down or dropping so hard bdksnks. I'm having quite a bit of fun! If you dont count my rage and annoyance-, the B button refuses to cooperate with me unless I'm looting corpses >:(

The b button being the bane of my existence aside, I AM having fun! I like the funky outfits and I want to play as the girl twin (evie?) forever because her clothes are good and shes better at attacking than jacob(?) For some reason. Probably the stun her weapon has? Oh well! I have not unlocked any new outfits yet, nonetheless I wish there were more.

Also! I was thimking, and my current quests are taking place at 1868? Did I get that right? And Jekyll is like 35 in 1885. So in game he'd be 18! An au like I believe you mentioned sounds very interesting 👀 but I must play more to know what's going on and daydream about it

But god, I really like that branch! Especially combined with the hc that he can't feel pain bc the HJ7 and the transformations made him immune. Frankenstein patched him up and made fleshweaver to heal the crack in his skull but it still has to be bandaged, he surely broke a few bones, yet all he has to do is to be careful because it doesn't even hurt. He doesn't even realize how severe the injuries are because it doesn't hurt, it very well might just have been that he accidentally slipped at the bottom of the staircase and accidentally hit his head on the railing during his fall, rather than getting physically pushed and flying down the stairs, shattering his skull upon impact with the marble floor. Y'know what would be extra fun? If he only starts getting a bit suspicious about how severe the injury was once he realizes his lungs stop breathing for minutes at a time when he gets distracted, or his heartbeat stops dead in his chest. I know that that's not how biology or even creature works but lets say the HJ7 is funky, Zombie Jekyll my beloved. Perhaps he would only fully grasp what had happened once he blacked out too much and 'passed out', but his soul slipped out enough to leave his body unconscious on the floor while his soul/ghost was just... Watching. And it's not until Maijabi (who, as you said, follows him everywhere) immediately calls for more Lodgers saying that Henry's soul is getting unstable and Frankenstein's lousy job is starting to shine through that he fully understands that it was not a mere hit to the head. Or maybe it is when days, weeks, maybe months has passed and the headache never goes away, he only feels how his body starts feeling so much more... Fragile and delicate, that the guilt has eaten Helsby up alive and he corners him and spills everything, knowing he is going directly against what the group agreed to but not being able to keep it a secret much longer-- or maybe Creature would tell him immediately, once Henry is, for once, alone perhaps days after the initial accident. He cannot see Henry struggle to understand what is going on when he already knows what's happening to Henry, his mind, and his body. He doesn't listen to the plan that Frankenstein and the Lodgers has set up and immediately tells Henry the first moment they are alone. That would certainly be horrifying, I can only imagine how the Lodgers would find Henry after that, once he actually knows and manages to process everything. He would be so mad, not only to have been killed in the first place, but also because he was robbed of an afterlife because the Lodgers were selfish and could not accept the consequences of their actions. He would be mad, he would be so pissed and I have no doubt he might actually be mad at Maijabi too for even agreeing to help Frankenstein and the rest of the Lodgers. That anger would not stay long, though. That anger would soon turn into misery and sadness and paranoia so even as Henry has tried to push Maijabi away, Henry still ends up on his doorstep begging him to help him make sure he is not rotting, because no matter what anyone says, he is sure he can see rotten spots and patches on his skin and he is just so scared and jdhfjsdfdsfsfs... <3

Ooooooohhh, I was actually daydreaming about this just this morning! Granted, I woke up at 5 and began to daydream to fall asleep quicker but I still like the thought of O'Leary being suspicious of Robert/Rachel/Jasper/the Lodgers bc he is protective of 'Thomas' and doesn't want anything bad to happen to him and especially with the idea that Henry still has hallucinations and they both think he was abandoned by his family, left to rot at a mental asylum. O'Leary might very well think that it might be Henry's friends and family that dumped him that Henry had 'escaped' the hospital and that's why they knew he was missing since the Asylum itself obviously wouldn't have posted the news... I really liked Jeks idea, okay? Like a lot, I absolutely love it <3

Oh, the oldest AC game I played was Unity bc it was free after the Notre Dame fire, and I can confirm, I played 15 min and could not get through it even if i would have wanted to, it absolutely sucks so i have no doubt the older games are just as frustrating <3

BUT!!!! I'M SO GLAD MY CORRUPTION IS SPREADING AND YOU BOUGHT AND PLAYED IT AND ARE ENJOYING IT SO FAR!!! Trust me, Syndicate truly is an absolutely amazing game and is definitely one of my top 3 games of all time. I sometimes play it w my friend watching me play and trust me, I know that rage of trying to do smt but the character does smt else... or you try to do smt but the game doesn't react and you miss your chance... Oh well, still a wonderful game <3

My friend loves to play as Evie as well but I'm definitely playing Jacob every chance I get and I honestly get a lil pissy when I have to play as Evie bc I always prefer to play male characters, plus, I just like Jacob better bc he is a sweetheart. He is also canonically bisexual as hell!!! Have you met Abberline yet? The police officer? Him and Jacob together is one of my fave ships for the game. I also bought the ultimate/golden/whatever name it was edition so I had a bunch of extra outfits, I love the sherlock holmes outfit for Jacob but my friend keeps bullying me for it </3

Honestly? The time difference is the bane of my entire idea for the au bc if it's during their time Henry hasn't even graduated yet, and definitely not well-known enough for them to actively meet for whatever reason, and if you use the timeline for the jack the ripper dlc (in 1888) a lot of... Less than pleasant things happen so it wouldn't really make a lot of sense for a crossover to happen at that point but maybe it's just bc im a pussy and refuse to play the dlc. Rn, while imagining the au, I just imagine the 1868 timeline to be the same as the TGS timeline. I like to imagine the Frye Twins hearing about Henry and the Society and promptly breaking into his office to ask him to make poison and stuff for them. I also have a feeling that Jacob would flirt wildly with Henry and that Henry would be less-than-amused. It would also be a very fun thing with the fact that there would be two Henrys, with TGS Henry Jekyll and AC Syndicate Henry Green, soo... XD

1. How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?

The first fanfiction i read was for The Lunar Chronicles when I was like 11?? and it was 100% on accident and it scarred me because it was a hardcore porn one with a period kink and i was like WHAT IS THIS??? OH MY GOD???? LMAOOOOO i didn’t pick it back up until i was 13-14 and really got into the Fairy Tail fandom. I still reread my favorites on ff.net cause i love them. 

As for writing, I wrote a horrible, terrible x-men fanfiction when I was twelve. (my friend still brings it up and REFUSES to delete it so it still gets comments and views, that shit HAUNTS ME ELE.) then tried again for Fairy Tail, posted like two chapters before taking it down cause i wasn’t really feeling it. And then I posted The Intimacy Of Being Understood and here we are.

5. What are your fanfic pet peeves? Do they have a huge effect on whether or not you decide to read something?

Omniscient third person. I don’t like it. Like I can understand that it can be a little hard to stay in one person’s perspective but, in my opinion, if you can, it shows how disciplined you are as a writer. Plus, i just get so confused when I go from A’s thoughts to suddenly what B is thinking about A. 

When writers use ‘ ‘ instead of “ “. When writers put thoughts in ‘ ‘ instead of just italicizing them. It’s small things but like they just bother me sO MUCH. most of the time i can ignore it and try to enjoy but other times i just dip. 

9. Tag 3 fic writers you think are underrated/unknown in the fandom/fanfiction community.

@espoir-et-reves !!!!! THEIR SHISAKU FICS ARE SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. And they have a warring states one going on THAT I AM SO OBSESSED WITH. 

@writer168 idk if they’re really “underrated” but THEY HAVE SUCH GREAT FICS ON AO3. Like theres an AU with sakura, kiba, and shino that i reread constantly because it just. is. so. fucking. GOOD. and they posted a new one that i’m YELLING about. 

@eggtoasties okay they only have 2 in the naruto fandom (one shisaku which is still ongoing) BUT THEIR WRITING STYLE IS SO NICE?? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I still go back and reread their shikasaku one cause UGH i can’t get enough. I love it. 

10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?

Fandoms: Naruto, Soul Eater, The Old Guard, ATLA

Parings: KakaSaku/ShikaSaku/ShiSaku/MultiSaku, SoMa, Joe X Nicky, Zukka

Character: SAKURA. I will read anything with Sakura as the main character and her being a fuckin badass or becoming a badass. I love her.

17. How obsessively do you sit and stare at your fic after you’ve just posted and wait for feedback?

aha.. haha.. well. I check my email like three times an hour. its the first thing i check in the mornings too. I’m literally a whore for praise and literally eat up feedback like its going out of style. I also reread a lot of my stuff because i make so many mistakes and spelling errors, or the spacing is weird oR SOMETHING. plus, literally any and all comments make my day, i go back and reread them cause they just make me feel so tingly and warm like “wow. this person enjoyed the fic/my writing enough to tell me. thats HUGE!”

23. What’s your absolute favorite trope to write?

Angry, feral, bloodied, morally gray women. They aren’t bad guys, they’re probably the good guy, but that doesn’t mean they cant be fucking raging at the world with raw knuckles and blood on their teeth. I just love an angry woman who struggles with her emotions and just has so much inner conflict but that doesn’t take away from her character or badassery, it adds to it. 

24. What’s a trope that you’d like to never hear about as long as you live, let alone write?

The fake dating or miscommunication troupe. LIKE GUYS JUST TALK. AND TELL EACH OTHER OMFG. the entire like obliviousness of “nah they dont like me” while the They holds their hand and kisses their cheek. MOFO WHAT. it makes me so impatient and like mad HAAHHAHA. its probably because i’m a pretty confrontational person so seeing stuff like that just “cmon bro, USE YO HEAD.”

28. How do you deal with writing pressure (ie: pressure to update, negative comments, deadlines, etc)?

I have yet to receive a negative comment! Which i was really surprised about tbh. As for deadlines or pressure to update, i just kind of do whatever. I do set goals, but i set them flexible enough that hey, if i can’t do it, that’s okay. 

I have a lot of mini goals, like “i want to write this chapter and get it done this week” and then the large goal is “FINISH BY END OF MAY” so i have time. 

Actually, now that I think on it, the entire pressure to update thing is probably why i’m waiting until I have all of OL&W written to post it weekly,, cause well. I wouldn’t wanna leave you guys waiting as I tried to write and work out the next chapters and stuff, you know?

34. How much of yourself and your life experiences do you put into your writing? What do you think your readers’ image of you is?

None of my experiences match up to anything I write tbh,,, probably the only thing that is me in my writing is maybe the emotional turmoil? I’m pretty emotionally and mentally mature because from a pretty young age i started forming my own opinions, started looking into the world around us and being like “dude what the fuck this is not what disney advertised”. Then i started talking (read: arguing and debating) with my dad about a lot of it. So, like emotions are kind of hard for me. Like i’m pretty good at controlling them or understanding them, but still. idk its hard to explain ig.

Like the weight of stress, the anger, the sadness. It’s kind of therapeutic to write. Cause i don’t know how to put those feelings to verbal words so writing them really helps. 

As for my readers’ image? Probably like some kind of hunched over figure typing away in the dark with a maniacal grin on their face. I honestly don’t know AHHAHAHA but it is fun to think about. I think they’d see me as someone with potential but a lot of room to grow and someone who is imperfect but in a charming way LMAOOOO

38. What does your writing process look like? How chaotic is it on a scale of 1 (very tame) to 10 (you can’t handle this kind of chaos)?

I’m gonna be real honest. Its probably like a 2. I’m a bit of a control freak so I almost always go in chronological order, my writing is pretty linear. Unless, i get bored and jump to one of my fav parts. It's pretty much i sit down, i open the doc, read over my notes and just start writing. 

It’s a little boring to explain AHAHAHA but once i get into the groove of things its really fucking great, I can like feel myself in the world, I can feel what i want the characters to, i love it. I catch myself mouthing the words as i type too, which i find hilarious.

39. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I rather like how raw my writing is sometimes. Which might sound really vain, but i do like the way i word things or describe things. I love juxtaposition and repetition, or making a good ole circle back to some minute detail that wouldn’t stand out until i repeat it at the end and you’re like “omg” AHAHAHAHA.

Like those little poetic snippets or certain wording i just sit back and go “damn thats kinda good nadia! go you!’ HAHAHA  

40. How did you come up with the idea for The Intimacy Of Being Understood?

AAAAA this fic is like my first child, my pride and joy LMAO

so the idea initially came when i was reading some fic, idk if it was even naruto, but i was like “i don't like this, but i do like the rain symbolism.” And I knew i wanted to write something kind of slow paced, something a little sad and angsty, but would show KakaSaku slowly but surely falling in love.

Idk if you’ve noticed but a lot of my fics, the pairings don’t change each other dramatically. They accept each other as they are and then they grow with together. Like that acceptance is something i just love writing, its so subtle, it isn’t something you declare. Its simply “I am going to love you. I am going to love you despite your flaws and faults. I am going to love you unconditionally because I know you, I understand you, and there is nothing you could do to drive me away.” 

The fic kind of wrote itself after that first scene. I kept going back to the rain, go being ghosts, and resurrection, and the small epiphanies one gets. I wanted to focus on each character’s growth with each other. They didn’t find light in life because of each other, but with each other. And i think that’s my favorite thing about that fic. 

I wanted something raw and real and just something beautiful. I’m actually really proud of it tbh. Would i go back and rewrite/edit it? Oh of course! I’d do that with every single one of my fics, but i’m not gonna cause i think its in its rawest form right now. :))))

A/N: hello friends, this is my first time posting a fic in a really long time. Theres something about the 7 demon brothers that got my inspired and wanting to write so many soft self-indulgent stories about them. Anyway, I hope you like it.

“You money-grubbing TRASH! A scumbag who'd sell his soul for a grimm! The only thing that would make up for your awful existence is if you just ended it! NOW!”

“HEY, that's no way to be talking to your older brother, now is it?! You’d best start showing me some respect!”

“RESPECT?! What did you ever do to earn my respect?! I'm EMBARRASSED to have someone like you for an older brother! Mortified even!”

What started out as an innocent bicker over you quickly turned into a heated exchange of insults hurled between the two brothers. Asmodeus wasn't relenting in his anger which only fueled the increasingly harsher words directed at your boyfriend, Mammon. While it was funny at first to watch the two fight over you, as the insults got worse you started getting concerned over how far the brothers were going with their words.

“All right you two, that's enough. Stop throwing pillows at each other. You’re sending dust flying everywhere.” Satan interceded.

“It's no use. They won't listen. It’s like they don't even hear us.” Leviathan added.

They were right. Mammon and Asmodeus continued their match without pause. It was like there were two different conversations happening in the room. You wanted to somehow break up the argument but didn't know how without getting in the crossfire of two demons.

“What do we do?” You asked the other demon brothers.

“Nothing,” Satan replied, “Either one of them wins or Lucifer breaks them up, whichever comes first.”

“I'm betting on Lucifer.” Levithan quipped.

“You’d normally be right about that but Asmo might win here.”

“Can I have my cheesecake, Levi?” Beel jumped in.

Ignoring Beel, you replied to Satan, “There's no winning in this situation.”

As Mammon and Asmo’s bickering went on around you guys, you couldn't help but grow worried for Mammon. Asmodeus were saying things that were digs at Mammon’s incompetency, character, and his existence. Which was a regular occurrence among the demon brothers, but Asmo’s words were going further than they typically do and you were growing worried that Asmodeus or Mammon might say or do something they regret. Even more, you were worried about the effect Asmo’s words were doing to Mammon. Because despite Mammon’s holier-than-thou attitude, you know it is nothing more than a facade he puts on around his brothers as a way to take on their harsh opinions of him; “scummy brother,” “greedy scum,” “pathetic.” He’s heard every variation and accepted them all with his flippant attitude, laughing it off or getting comically indignant. You have seen Mammon deny the hurt in his heart with his passing comments. You’ve never reached out to confront him as you thought there had never been a good time; Mammon is like a hurricane, he’ll swing from one topic to the next as does his moods.

But not this time. You looked at Mammon and saw anger marking his face but if you looked hard enough, you could see the sheen of hurt in his eyes with each blow that he hides behind his retorts.

“%#$! %#%! And...and also, you’re a...um a *%#$&%!” Mammon spluttered back. “Maybe it’s time you learned some new WORDS, Mammon. Because your vocabulary is pathetically small! Just what I would expect from the stupidest demon in Devildom! You really set the bar for what stupid can be!” Asmodeus shot back.

You could see at this point Asmodeus words were taking a toll on Mammon’s ability to argue, so you took your chance.

“That’s enough, both of you need a time-out. I'm taking Mammon with me.” You marched forward grabbing Mammon by the arm, dragging him out the door.

Mammon sputtered out some protests while Satan and Levi nodded in acquiescence and waved you guys off as if to say, ‘Do what you like’

“Can you bring back some food when you come back?” Beelzebub asked. “I don't know why you bother taking care of our good for nothing brother, Kisa. It’s a waste of time.” Asmodeus said while shaking his head.

“Look here, you lust-brained—” Mammon started but before he could finish his retort, you yanked on his arm harder out the door and let it fall shut, cutting off his words.

He spun towards you, “Hey Kisa, what are ya doing! Let me give him what he deserves. Asmo needs some teachin’ from his older brother!”

Mammon started for the door but you grabbed his arm with both hands to stop him. “Mammon, please! Look at me.”

He must have heard something in your voice because he stopped and turned to look at you. You let go of his arm and reached for his hand instead and held it gently. You looked into his face and searched his eyes.

“H-hey. What are ya lookin’ at..?”

You didn't reply. Mammon’s eyes were wide staring back at you. Anger was still etched around his eyebrows and mouth but his eyes didn't hold that sheen of hurt anymore that you saw for a moment inside. However, you knew him better than that. The Avatar of Greed hides his sadness and pain behind this veneer of superficial excitement of a child as if nothing ever touched him deeply.

“Are you okay?” You asked quietly.

Mammon gulped and you saw that hurt flicker for a moment in his eyes. But it was gone like a candle blown out, yet you could still see the wisps of smoke.

“I’m fine! What are ya sayin’, Kisa! hahaha, why wouldn't I be okay? I’m the Great Mammon, nothin’ hurts me! That, in there? Nothin’ to worry about! Asmo didn't hurt me at all. If anything, I probably hurt Asmo!”

You shook your head and then looked back at him with determination set on your face. You gripped his hand in yours and led him to his room that he shares with Satan and Solomon which you know is empty as they were in your room.

Mammon followed behind or rather dragged along, “Hey, where are we going, Kisa?”

“Your room.”

“M-my room!? W-why?” Mammon stuttered back, “I don’t think that’s a good idea to do this while Lucifer and Diavolo is around! I mean not that I would mind! B-because ya know, who cares if what they think. Let them know for all I care! Even better let them know you’re mine! Maybe finally they’ll keep their grubby hands off of you.”

As cute as it was to watch your demon boyfriend blabber on about his obsession with you and his overactive imagination, you decided not to put him out of his embarrassment. And to your enjoyment, his flustering only got worse as you reached his room’s door.

“K-kisa…. are ya sure about this? I mean not that I don't want to! The Great Mammon is doing ya a favour, ya know! So ya better appreciate it!”

You almost rolled your eyes at his ‘tsundere’ mode but instead opened the door of his room, all but dragging him in. You plopped him at the edge of his bed and you stood staring down at him suddenly asserting an authoritative aura with your reversed height difference.

“K-kisa…?” Mammon stuttered, a blush rising on his cheeks as he stared up at you.

“Whatever you’re thinking, it's not happening.” You finally say, putting him out of his torment.

His face immediately fell before schooling back into a mask of fake mirth. For a moment your heart broke for denying him anything, but you knew you had to confront him about this.

“Mammon, be honest with me. Are you okay?”

Mammon laughed, “What are ya talkin’ about, Kisa? Of course, I’m fine!”

You started to get a little frustrated knowing your boyfriend refuses to seek solace in you. You cupped his face in between your hands to force him to look right into your eyes, and with a deep breath you poured your heart out to him.

“I know you’re faking it. All the time. I know you hide your pain in the depths of your heart to cope with the words that are thrown at you everyday. Your brothers might not know, but I know. I know what you hide behind that mask and I wish you would trust me with that sadness and hurt and let me help you.”

Mammon stared at you with wide eyes as your words slowly sank into him.

“I love you, Mammon. I want to be there for you,” you implored hoping it’ll finally sink in.

For a moment, the two of you sat in silence as Mammon cast his eyes down and you let him. You knew he needed a few minutes to run over his thoughts and formulate a response. Your hands gently sloped over his cheekbones as you waited patiently. Eventually, his hands reached up to wrap around your hips as he slowly descended into your torso to bury his face.

“Mammon…?” You quizzically called out his name as you looked down at the fluffy white head.

“How do ya know me so well..” His voice muffled by your clothes.

Your right hand reached up to slide into his hair and gently comb through it. Your other hand reached across his shoulders to hug him closer to you.

“Of course, I do,” you replied with affection laced through the words.

You couldn't help but smile at how cute your boyfriend was being when he’s honest despite the seriousness of the situation. Mammon wasn't crying but you could feel the tiredness in his shoulders that slumped into you.

“It’s just…” he began, “sometimes I don't know if my brothers really want me around or not.”

Your heart broke at his confession but you held back from interrupting to rebut all his insecurities. You knew this was not the time to insert your voice and instead you just listened knowing that sometimes all he wants is someone to hear him out.

“Why am I seen as the worst avatar as if pride or envy isn’t just as bad? Why am I the worst brother just because I’m the Avatar of Greed? I didn’t ask for any of this. I didn’t ask to be the Avatar of Greed.” Mammon’s voice broke a little at the end of his rant which only made you squeeze him tighter to you.

“I know I’m not the easiest to be around and I know I make trouble for my brothers but…” Mammon trailed off as if he couldn’t find the right words. You didn’t push nor encourage him to talk, but continued absently alternating between running your hand through his hair and trailing it down to caress the nape of his neck.

After a few moments of silence as he took in your comforting caresses, he continued in a whisper that you would’ve missed if you weren't carefully listening, “I want them to see me.”

You felt your heart fracture at this quiet moment of vulnerability he entrusted you with. In that moment, you’re reminded of why you fell in love with Mammon; behind his exterior image of a money-obsessed, troublesome, arrogant demon is one that sought the attention of his brothers, wanting and needing validation of his existence; someone who was the most considerate, kind, and loyal friend and boyfriend. You pushed Mammon away from your torso and held his face so that you could look at each other. You saw his eyes lined red as tears threatened to fall. You saw the hurt that he no longer tried to hide from you and all you wanted to do was soothe that pain; to wipe it from existence.

But you knew this was something you wouldn't be able to fix alone. Mammon’s relationship with his brothers is a tenuous one, forged from hundreds of years of habits that your mere decades of mortal life couldn't compare to. Empty reassurances won't fix what years of coexistence has done to him.

“Mammon, I don’t know what your brothers feel or how they see you, but here's what I do know: they would do anything for you when you’re really in trouble,” you began. “Despite Lucifer’s exasperation and disappointment at times, he’s always bailed you out.”

“Lucifer only cares about his reputation. He only bails me out so that my mistakes don't affect him,” Mammon retorted with a roll of his eyes.

You almost shook his head at how dense he was being. “Or maybe, he does it cause you’re brothers and he cares.”

Mammon only scoffed and opened his mouth to rebut but you cut him off.

“Okay, maybe he also does it because of his reputation, but you know, Lucifer has said he would do anything for his brothers.”

His eyes widened at that news but immediately turned skeptical. “Yea’ right.”

“It's true. Why do you think he was worried when I started making pacts with all of you guys?”

The Avatar of Greed didn't have a response to that and instead he thought over your words.

“As for your younger brothers, I don't really know what they think,” you admitted.

Mammon snorted. “If you’re trying' to comfort me, you’re doin’ a great job.”

You smacked his shoulder. “Hey, I wasn't done.”

He jumped a little at the surprise attack and stared at you with mock hurt. “Way to hit a demon when he’s down.”

You wanted to laugh at his antics but settled with a barely hidden smile and a scolding, “Mammon! I’m trying to be serious here!”

“I’m just sayin’! Your comforting skills might need some work. I’ll even help you! First step, don’t hit a demon when he’s down. See, the Great Mammon is gonna teach you everything.”

Even when he’s hurt, he still manages to make light-hearted jokes. Perhaps it was a habit from trying to hide it for so many years; a coping mechanism. But you didn't dwell on it lest you stray from the issue at hand.

“As I was saying, I don't know what your brothers think, but do you think they would spend time with you if they really can't stand you? They would have done something if they really didn't want you around,” you argued, “So in a way, them teasing you is their way of showing affection. In a misguided kind of way.”

Mammon turned his head away from you with a slight scowl on his face, “Are you taking their side?”

You looked at him bewildered. “What? No! I’m not justifying their words or actions.”

You grabbed your demon boyfriend's face again to get him to face you and placed a chaste but affectionate kiss on his lips. Mammon blushed at the surprise action and you felt him tighten his grip around your hips.

“I’m just saying, don't think you’re not loved or wanted around. Your brothers do love you, but they just show it in a different, and possibly wrong, way,” you explained. “I love you and I want you around. Always. And I'll tell you and show you as many times as you need.”

At those words, Mammon smiled lovingly at you, his eyes soft with gratitude, and you could almost see heart bubbles floating out of him. He stretched up to capture your lips and you gladly leaned down to meet him in the middle. You smiled into his kiss, full of tenderness and contentment.

“Thank you,” Mammon whispered into the space left behind as your lips separated from each other, “And I…. love you.”

You couldn't see Mammon’s face from close up but you could tell he was blushing from his confession. Even after all this time dating, Mammon still was endearingly shy about expressing his feelings. You didn't mind because it meant that the words held even more weight when he actually said it.

“Do you want to go back?” You asked after the shared moment.

“No.” Mammon said bluntly with a slight frown, “You’re MY human. They can do without you for a night.”

As he finished his sentence, he fell backwards onto his bed, pulling you down with him. You let out a squeak at the sudden free fall, trying to not crush Mammon. He rolled you over to his side before swiftly pulling the duvet over the both of you.

“I can’t stay. Satan and Solomon are going to come back and report us to Lucifer or Diavolo,” you pointed out.

“They can't catch ya if you hide.” He grinned.

“Asmo is going to notice I’m not back.”

Mammon let out a curse under his breath. “You’ll just have to sneak back after they’re asleep,” he stated before hesitantly reaching an arm towards you under the blankets.

“C-can I….?” he asked, always worried about making advances towards you. You grabbed his hovering arm and draped it over your waist. This gave Mammon the confidence to pull you closer to him until you were tucked into his chest. You didn't have the heart to offer any more excuses as to why you couldn't stay. You gave into the temptation of Mammon’s arms and accepted whatever the future would hold. Right now, you just wanted to savour the precious time you have with him.

You felt the pressure of Mammon’s lips placing a kiss on the top of your head and let the pounding heartbeat in his chest lull you to sleep.

ive only watched up to the second episode, and i am having Such Difficulties convincing myself to keep watching. i know my rxns to ep 1 were overall pretty positive and I stand by it but the more i watch the more the Cringe/Hypercritique starts take over. 

Turns out, the art style had a bigger impact than i thought on the length of which i enjoy shows. personally, i just really like when anime/shows have a happy marriage between writing and artwork. and when show directors know how to interpret writing, how to set up a scene (the angle, the music, the pacing), and then communicate with artists who have the skills to bring that idea to life using the medium they’re given -- that’s when writing becomes storytelling. OPM’s writing is still fantastic since they’re going off ONE (whereas GoT has the opposite problem where the production value is 4K and the writing is early 2000s livejournal/fanfiction lol god why is everyone dropping the ball in 2019??)

As for the art, since opm switched to jc staff and shingo natsume & co. left for other projects ( ;;_____;; im emo ), its inevitable we would see a drop in animation quality and i find myself constantly getting distracted by things i never used to get concerned about in the first season (bc of the high bar of expectations set by s1 artists/directors, like theres just no way jc staff would match up it to all of that and i feel bad for them, they’re trying their best but that doesn’t mean theyre immune to critique on the artistic liberties that they’ve taken that i feel as a viewer, may not have been the best choice?) 

the shading: no, just, unnecessary and distracting and why is it the center of saitamas face, im by far no expert in lighting but a bish can tell something doesnt look right??? 

the shading pt II: color choices. just gonna say i was not expecting sai’s ‘hair shirt’ in ep 1 to be bright-ass neon green, it was a little jarring at first and i miss him in red ;-; i get hes supposed to have poor fashion choices but i dont see him as the type to pick something that stands out so much in the crowd, like he likes to be left alone. NEON doesnt really relay ‘hi dont mind me im just barely existing here lol’ 

the shading pt III: genos arms/neck. okaY so the bby looks good in screenshots. like he’s shiny and nice to look at when nothings moving. bUT this is animation?? movement of objections is different from still life manga so making every single scene almost 99% like murata’s panels translates a little awkwardly to the screen (like staff is lucky bc murata’s a force of nature with his panels playing out like a movie for ref). but when genos moves, the arms are just distracting bc everything around him is drawn simply without shadows so they stand out by themselves and i (visually) forget about the rest of him haha. 

the pacing: it feels scripted, person A says this so we’ll show person A in the shot, then person B is saying something so we have to cut to person B, etc etc like keeping pretty steady to manga lines to the point where i was starting to get bored bc i knew what was coming. it was really intervaled? like someone had to be saying something at a certain effect and i think s1 had more dramatic pauses (lol) but thats how you can place emphasis on scenes to have an emotional impact if the character doesnt say anything and just let the soundtrack do some talking and the cadence of the script will change too (im 10000% talking about the sunset scene in s1 god bless. like it was slow, there was MOOD there wasn’t any rush and really gave the viewer time to think about the relationship between the two characters and what that moment meant to each of them) i feel like there were several scenes that could have been more like in the scene where sai protected fubuki, could have been a little more dramatically emphasized (aka just a pause) so the viewer could get a chance to understand that he purprosefully shielded her or when genos says that strong heroes are drawn to saitama--bUT nope its the same pace, like c l o c k w o r k just like my t eARS--

the fight scenes: how do i even start. the one scene that got me INTO opm (like watching the anime, reading the manga, drawing fanart, writing fanfic, reading fanfics etc) was kickstarted by the fight scene between genos and saitama in s1 that was circulating on tumblr a while back. i thought the characters were interesting and the fight was badass and it just looked SO COOL. (also the forehead flick at the end just kinda sealed my fate). going from that to s2 fight scenes where its mostly cut scenes and freeze scenes?? where theres a cut out behind the characters back?? during a fight scene????? this isn’t a calling card or an anime opening??? i dont understand. when they dont do cut scenes, its interesting but my initial impression is just underwhelmed. i can find good parts but it feels like i have to replay the scene to notice it? theres also an overwhelming amount of graphics/cgi manipulation that overpowers the actual art sometimes. its lacking some of the fluidity that comes from hand drawn fight scenes from first season. OTL

the sound directing: so i thought that the mood just felt off for certain scenes and the sound didn’t seem to support the scene as well (unless it was like the character’s theme or smtg) and i looked it up and the sound director was also replaced (Yoshikazu Iwanami replacing Shoji Hata). i have no idea if the sound director is also in charge of character lines but there were parts were fubuki was monologuing and i had no idea she was inner monologuing, i thought she was talking out loud and that just took extra effort on my part to re-orient myself (im nitpitcking i know but its just how i watch shows lol) 

there are still some parts i like about the animation:

fubuki looks bangin and i love her👌👗

all of this just made me realize how insanely lucky we were to have an amazing s1 and just have it exist and how i really could not care less if they had just waited forever to make s2 as long as we had the same crew come back. but anime is still a business and the quicker they dish out merch/seasons, the more money they can bring in. which they do in the short run but they would bring in more if they spent a little more on quality in the long run and it becomes one of those classics that ppl will rewatch and keep recommending to ppl who want to get into anime and oh my god we’re never gonna have that now, are we. if im gonna rec it to a friend its gonna be ‘read the manga!’ or ‘just watch s1!’ uGH. its just an unfortunate situation, its not one person’s fault either, so many factors go into what made opm s1 so spectacular and seeing s2 just made me appreciate s1 more. i guess im happy to have a s2 regardless? 

i’ll still watch to support (and bc i like suiryuu and wanna see sai in a karate gi and wig lol). maybe i just have to get used to the new style. 

so in summary,

Loss

What did it mean that there were no handbooks for me? That people asked me to be strong in the face of the biggest loss I'd ever experienced or imagined? At times I felt like I didn't deserve to feel so shattered, especially in the shadow of my parents' immense loss but losing a twin is like losing half of yourself.

When I was 22, my twin brother, who was my only sibling, died. He had huffed duster while driving resulting in immediate brain death causing him to hit a tree at over 90mph. That day wasnt like any other day because a few months earlier I woke up and knew he was going to die. Just not how or when. The day the phone rang and I heard my mom say dark, foreign words like car accident, unresponsive, drugs, life support was the most impactful day of my life. In the thickness of shock, I didn't realize that the rest of my life would be measured in before and after. Before, when my family was intact. After, when I would somehow be forced to learn to live without the person I was supposed to get a lifetime with.

"Be strong for your parents," said blurs of people at Trevor's memorial service. I nodded, but inside me, something twisted. I stood in a daze as people streamed by, offering their awkward words and hugs. Be strong for your parents? I thought. How can I be strong for them when half my soul just died and I dont even know how to be strong for myself.

After

I was barely breathing. I was barely standing there. I was numb and strong was the last thing I felt. One thing is for sure I felt angry at my brother for leaving me here. For abandoning me. It's funny how I found myself consoling complete strangers over the death of my brother and yet these very people werent there for him when he was alive and struggling w addiction. Why is it that no one seems to truly care about you until tragedy strikes and then suddenly your life meant so much to them. They say things like "I didn't see this coming" "Why didn't they reach out"

In the early months after Trevors death at 22, I existed in a heavy fog. Nothing was as I knew it. I'd been forced to abandon the little life I'd once known. My friends were living their lives -- going to college, working, falling in and out of love and lust. Meanwhile, my life had stopped and I no longer recognized the world around me.

My home was filled with the cloying scent of flowers just starting to die. It struck me just then how terrible it was that we send flowers to the grieving -- here you go, another reminder that nothing is permanent, that everything lovely will be lost.

My brother's absence was heavy in the house. Though he had died in Peoria, his room was still scattered with relics: the bed he had slept in for so many years, his skateboarding hoodies hanging like shadows in the closets, a handful of videos and books. Memories pinned to each corner. His beloved Ferret Ember waiting for her best friend who was never coming home.

Having always taken comfort in words, I scoured the internet for a book for someone like me -- a barely adult whose (barely) adult twin brother had died. What I found was unimpressive: There were more books on losing a pet than losing a brother or sister, especially a twin. A few books existed for surviving children after a death in the family, but they were for small children. One memoir documented a sister's grief following her brother's death, but it was out of print.

What did it mean that there were no handbooks for me? That people asked me to be strong in the face of the biggest loss I'd ever experienced or imagined? At times I felt like I didn't deserve to feel so shattered, especially in the shadow of my parents' immense loss. I felt guilty for missing him.

A few weeks later, I found out I was pregnant and my world took another 360* hit. I decided I needed to join a support group so I sat in a circle with a few widows and widowers, a woman whose daughter had died, and a woman whose mother had died. I was younger than any of them by at least 30 years, but I could relate to their shares: "I feel like I'm going crazy." "I'm so damned angry right now." "I can't sleep at night." "My anxiety is at an all time high"

Though the losses were different, the feelings were the same and we were all barely coping.

My parents, who adopted us at 2 would never be the same. Their pain was almost visible, as if a piece of their bodies had been cut out. I had lost myself, too, or at least the version of me that was unscathed by tragedy: an innocent version, who walked around in some parallel universe where her brother was still alive, ignorant to the incredible fortune of an entirely alive family.

My brother, my twin, my built in best friend. I miss Trevors big brown eyes. His loud laugh. He was the co-keeper of my childhood and my secret's. The person who was supposed to walk with me longer than anyone else in this life. The only other person who knew what it was like to grow up with our particular parents, in our particular home and our particular situation being adopted.

The future.

I cried for the nephews and nieces I would never have. I cried for my own daughter who would never know my brother, her uncle. How would I explain him? How would I ensure that his essence wasn't lost, that he wasn't just a figure in old photographs, a handful of stories? Suddenly i was the only person who could make my parents the grandparents they were soon to be.

I constantly grieve for all the hard times ahead when my brother wouldn't be by my side. When my parents begin to age. When my grandparents die. There would be no one to share these dark milestones with and no one to comfort me in the way he did with just his presence.

And so 3 weeks after his death Im now pregnant and despite feeling like I wanted to die from the pain and loneliness i had to stay alive. I suddenly was needing to stay healthy, to stay safe, to stay positive because I was bringing a beautiful baby girl into the world and theres no time to fall apart.

So I placed my grief on hold.

I felt like our family had been a four-legged table, and one leg had suddenly been torn off. The remaining three of us wobbled and teetered. We felt the missing leg like an amputee, each morning waking to the horrible fact that Trevor was gone and unable to stop the pain.

I wrote letters to my brother in those early months and years. At first, memories blazed through my head and I used the letters to capture them before they flitted away, gone forever: my brother walking towards me when he knew my heart had been broken and embracing me in a giant hug. The time I taught him to make snow angels in the front yard of our home, our bulkily clad limbs sliding in synchronicity under the cold afternoon sun.

Later, I wrote the letters when I needed to cry -- when the grief sat coiled and waiting in my chest, needing to be let out, released. I couldn't find the words of other bereaved twin sisters or brothers to bring me comfort, so I created my own.

One day, when I was lost in my sadness, my mom said, "You won't always feel like this. You'll have a family of your own. You'll move on." This seemed impossible in my 23 year-old new mom skin. I couldn't imagine this potential future where I lived a life my brother was no longer apart of.

But very, very slowly, I began putting my life back together. I gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl and I made the difficult decision to leave an abusive relationship and return home again. As time has gone on I notice my daughter has his love of music and animals and possesses the lighthearted spirit my brother had at the same age and I cant help but smile and think a part of him is in her.

Sometimes adult siblings aren't able to close the distance between them, all those shared experiences and time and space and relationships matter. They tether us, they twine our stories together. I pray that my children will one day remain close as they grow, and that they enjoy a long lifetime together and never take eachother for granted.

After nearly 9 years, the sharp shock and grief I felt in those early months and years are no longer constant but only come back in waves, especially around his angelversary or our birthday. It's hard to explain to people the survivors guilt I feel and the PTSD I acquired from watching him struggle to pass away after being taken off life support. It's hard to explain to people that the week of his death never gets easier to face and I tend to shut down and shut people out because I dont want to be a burden. I distance myself so my sadness doesnt spill into their lives.

Its taken 9 years for the pain to dull and for the words "your brother is dead" to stop pounding in my head -- but they did. Trevors absence is mostly a dull hurt, the ghost of an old broken bone that aches when it rains. I feel it more on holidays and anniversaries, when someone else close to me dies. Or when something funny happens and I go to text him and realize I cant. Because Hes gone.

I'll always wish he was still here. I'll always wonder what he would look like and what he'd be doing if he was still alive -- at almost 32, At 50. At 75. Who would he be today? Would he have gotten sober and started a family? Would his music career had taken off?

So with no other choice I continue on. Perhaps I am even strong, like those well-meaning mourners at my brother's memorial asked me to be. But my brother's loss will remain with me for my whole life -- just like he was supposed to.

I wish I knew how to explain to the people I love that the distance I create during anniversaries is done so they are not effected by my overwhelming sadness. I create distance because even after 9 years I am still learning how to cope and handle my grief and sometimes its easier to do alone so that theres no pressure to feel like you have to be happy and in a way continue healing.

I'm incredibly blessed with an amazing boyfriend who is patient and kind and incredibly handsome and perfect in every way. He has been incredibly understanding and supportive despite the distance I have placed between us lately and that's how I know hes who I am going to spend the rest of my life with if he'll let me.

I will forever be thankful for the time I had with my brother and the lessons he taught me but time doesn't heal all wounds and I am just finding ways to get by.

Tony is an Omega bounty hunter taking up his Betas fathers mantle... though since hes an Omega other bounty hunters dont work with him.... which is fine with him because theyre a blood thirsty lot anyways and he’d rather capture his criminal targets rather than kill them. But hes got one Alpha he wants dead for murdering his father and mother... ;;;)))(its Bucky obviously) He doesnt know what the guy looks like but hes an infamous creature that plenty of bounty hunters are gunning for. The talisman around Tonys neck keeps him protected (its the anchor item for his Wraiths Jarvis and Friday. Tony also has a lot of creative non-leathal weapons he uses during his hunts like liquid light that can stun light-sensetive Alphas.

WORLD ‘’SET UP’’!!!! VVVVVV

First of all its a world where Betas have the biggest population. Theyre basically regular humans(except any Beta can bare children... unless some health issue or someshit.). Alphas are monsters. LITERALLY. Like vamps/wolves/demons etc different breeds of Alphas but all of them are treated just as monsters. Omegas are crossbreeds of the two. Omegas inherit some traits from their Alpha parent-- pointy ears and teeth are very common, antenna, wings, weaker versions of their powers, etc.

Usual A/B/O shenanigans apply.

Alphas can only be born from an Alpha/Omega pair. Alpha children are their Alpha parents species. Omegas can only be born from an Alpha/Beta pair. Alpha/Alpha and Omega/Omega pairs cant produce young, Alphas cant bare children/Omegas cant sire a child. (Betas can do w/e. They dont need the other two which is why theyre so judgemental and why Alpha and Omega breeds are so low.)

Alpha(/Omega) Breeds:

Werewolf: ---Threat level: (depends on pack size, lower number packs tend to be more aggressive. Lone Wolves are often feral and scapegoats/targets for bounty hunters.) ---Rarity: ★✩✩✩✩ (very common) ---Powers: Quite a bit stronger and faster than a regular human(strength varies with moon cycle), telepathic pack communication, high endurance, regeneration ---Weaknesses: Silver, wolfsbane, strength variations during moon cycles, pack dependency. ----Defining features: Fur tipped ears, dog like teeth, fluffy tails. ----Characters: Steve, Bucky, Rumlow, Rhodey, Gamora, Drax, Yondu, Scott

Highly pack dependent to a point it effect their mental stability. They also mate for life. Loyalty is valued most in a pack and pack mates that betray the pack arent killed, theyre banished and usually go mad and then are killed.

Bucky was taken and being away from his pack turned him feral assassin for Hydra. (his pack mate Rumlow set him up and works for Hydra... Hydras still a thing... except theyre Betas mostly.)

Vampire: ---Threat level: ★★★✩✩ ---Rarity: ★✩✩✩✩ ---Powers: Wall climbing, super speed and agility, energy absorption+healing when drinking blood, greater strength than an average Beta but not quite as strong as a Wolf. A bite from a vampire causes a victim to obey their Vampire sire (but will not transform them) ---Weaknesses: Typical vampire bullshit. Whos allergic to garlic of all things? ASSHOLES. Thats who. ----Defining features: Small pointy ears, fangs, glowy red eyes. ----Characters: Natasha, Peter, Nebula

Vampires are seen as pests by Betas and sometimes even other Alpha types. They tend to stay in small packs for protection as theyre not as strong as most other Alphas.

Dragonblood: ---Threat level: ★★★★★ ---Rarity: ★★★★✩ ---Powers: High strength and endurance*, fire breath and immunity*, regeneration/semi-immortal (can be killed by outside sources but will never die of old age) *Dragons power is enhanced by the type of fire they possess- Red is most common, orange, white, then blue is the most rare. Dragons bare their throats as a sign of dominance (unlike other Alphas) to show off their flame color. ---Weaknesses: Fae magic and Dragon blood (another Dragons blood on a sword will poison it) ----Defining features: Horns, wings, glowing from the throat ----Characters: Quill=Blue, Ego=Orange, (O)Frigga=Blue, Heimdall=White

Dragons arent looked down on the way most Alphas are by Betas but theyre highly feared and are targeted as a good trophy by hunters.

I noticed that after I had it back the cruise control wasn't working I didn't take it back because of the fear of something worse happening to it. My mom suggested that I get repair by my cousins husband so my mom handed me her cell phone called him and told me to bring it in the morning because he worked all day til 7pm and if i couldn't get to him to leave the key under the plant in front of the garage door (that call was on 6-24-09). I tried to get there early enough (6-25-09) but i missed him and no one was home so I placed the key under the plant and left I told the police officer that I had made a call to him after dropping the key but the phone number to reach him was on my moms cell phone. I thought I did I couldn't remember because I came back a day later for the car. After I walked home I thought id leave it there a day so he could find the problem, since he gets home at 7pm. When I got there on 6-26-09 my car wasn't there and they said they never saw it there so i called the police to see if it was towed it wasn't and the key wasn't there either, police came over and took my statement but on the report he stated that the car was stolen on 6-26-09 and the phone number I used to call to tell them I was leaving the car there was written down wrong. Car Insurance Renewal Why Did It Make That Much Of A Difference?

My partner had his renewal quote through and we've been shopping around and haven't even come close to getting it cheaper elsewhere so he decided to ring them thinking by taking me off the policy it would make it cheaper still since I've only had my license just over a year and would think still be considered a high risk but it in fact increased the price by about 60 my partner got a speeding fine last year which gained him 3 points too so we knew that would have an impact on the price this time but the only explanation I can think of was that me being female and at 31 i'm not what is classed as a young driver either and a named driver on his policy helps to keep the cost down but aren't the insurance companies doing away with that criteria as it was discriminating? ok thinking on Rhia’s design a lil, i think i need to match the emotional distress she had from the thing with like. something physical. not like, removing a limb.... i dont really want to do that. slightly limits some scene ideas. plus removing a limb would have required actual medical attention, and not a doctor in his home. it needs to be something more minor, but that still would have left its mark years later. like scars. or her having a slow walk speed. 

like, one idea is that while characters like your Rival have a speedy walk speed (roughly on par with your run speed, id think), Rhia is very decidedly walking. she moves slow for a character of her age and temperament. you get her next to Lyndelle and the simple way they get from a to b is wildly different. lyndelle has a bounce, and rhia has.... the opposite of a bounce. its not quite a limp, though it might have sprung from one. she goes down where others would go up. she walks slowly, steadily, very deliberately. fuck, could even give her a walking stick. she doesnt /really/ need it, she can walk, but its for when she needs to walk quick and it makes her look cool. i wish it was covered in stickers but its not.

if she has a walking stick, its important that its clear its not JUST for effect. like. yea, it is partially for effect, because the sound of footsteps plus a walking stick in a silent room is fucking cool and it looks pretty neat. stand there, pretend like its a sword, it might even be a sword, you dont know. cane sword and all. but it IS practical. she does need it.

but i also want a little more than that. after all, there are plenty of people who would have walking sticks despite only being in their 20s, and not all of them would result for like, a violent attack. could just have been a very bad illness, yknow. or a simple accident, something that went wrong as opposed to something that couldnt have gone any better if you tried, yknow. so id be thinking scars too? i wanted to do like a broken nose and if i was competent at drawing noses, i would hundred percent give her a broken nose. but a scar is also good. hold on, lemme check. yup, i still have a scar from scratching myself with a stick on my ankle. so nothing says she cant have like, a face or wrist scar or something. wrist might be good since its close to bone, since thats the same logic that led to my ankle scar, while a similar scratch on my leg wouldnt show after a day. though a wrist scar can be easily misinterpreted, and thats not really the idea i want from Rhia. more of a destroy her surroundings than a destroy herself thing. be far more likely to break her hand punching a wall than from cutting n stuffff. maybe a nose scar? to go w/ the broken nose. man. man listen idk. ive never had a broken nose so this isnt a thing i know shit about. i mean, she COULD go to hospital. they dont know who she is. if the pokemon world doesnt have dna identification (as she would 100% be on the database due to being registered with the state), shes fine.

but thennnn how would Doc get her home. hes not related to her (at that point, anyway - this is pre form tweaking and the fabrication of his sister in laws husbands first wifes daughter). theres no reason a doctor would be given custody of a patient. which meaannnss.... hmm. no, she really cant go to hospital. unless its REALLY simple. at which point, whats the point, lol. its needs to be the sort of thing that could be fixed b a doctor in his home. shoulder scars, maybe? knees? like scars on legs and upper arms might be good. since like, if we assume its not a break, its a sprain or cut. and if she uses a walking stick sometimes just because its easier than not having it, then leg scars make sense. you’d be unlikely to see that, though. i mean, you can get face scars from just minor scratches, it doesnt have to be a full wound (again, my stupid ankle scar), so it could just be that when she was attacked, she grazed her head. grazes are easy fixes. no hospital, no problem.

thatd be about it. everything else for her physicality, like her ankles n stuff, can easily just be dealt with with some good care and maybe like, a physio. shes probably fine. idk if she WOULD need a walking stick but i really like the idea of her having one. itd be a good thing for her to accidentally threaten you with before immediately backing down because thats the sort of person she is. i think itd be neat. again i wish it was covered in stickers but its not. but its cool. its probably got a pokemon up top. probably a dragon. yeeee. though a round one would be better for rotating.... hmm. idk. it could just be simple too. i do like simple. idk. thats a design to puzzle out

so the tl;dr give her a sweet cane to threaten people with, a broken nose (aka its gonna be a lumpy nose but given the pokemon artstyle i think people will get the idea) and probably some scar on the side of her head. scarring on her ankles optional
