I need your help!
I'm a college student working on a creative research project about the queer history of the west and the modern day perceptions and uses of the cowboy as a symbol by queer people. I'm consolidating this information with the tropes and imagery of the western genre, particularly film.
This form is a part of my research because I'm interested in more personal and specific feelings about these topics.

Creation Magic
What is it?
The collective thought of large bodies of living creatures can bring forth into existence powerful, god-like beings.
These deities wield a power proportional to their followers, and may only exert their will within their associated domain.
Who can wield it?
The power of creation is a sect of magic innate to all living creatures, and is more potent in species with a strong sense of self/consciousness.
Beings brought into existence through group thought are incapable of performing creation magic.
What are the implications?
Deities are incentivized to spread their renown, be it peacefully or otherwise, to bolster their strength and longevity.
The collapse of a civilization may result in the death of a patron god, if they have been to spread their influence surrounding towns and cities
