Arts a lil old but I have um some guys for you,, i hope u enjoy,,,,,

i originally wanted to finish my jordan design + my design for the initiate robe + maybe the choir robe so I could post it all together but that would have meant not being able to talk about these fuckers as much so... yeah.

I'm not 100% on how Catherine came out but I can work on her,,, ANYWAY- MY CLERGY CREEPS

Lawrence the Archivist and Catherine the Exorcist!!!! Info about them under the cut

I do a lot of stuff at the temple with my OCs, so I figured it'd be fun to start making a couple FREAKS to inhabit that place with, so I have more personalised horrors to subject lil guys to... ALSO because it's fun to just write an absolute piece of shit. That too.

Lawrence's deal is that on the surface, he's a kind person that you are Safe around. Initiates like him, he sometimes does some tutoring when he's not busy with his other work, he'll even help initiates out of Sticky Situations with other members of the temple! He's a nice, sleepy man that looks after scrolls and books! However, under that, he is just as disgusting as most of the others. He just targets people he considers too oblivious/pure/otherwise innocent to Realise what he's doing (I think gameplay-wise as an NPC, he'd target players with high purity or low awareness) ,,, BASICALLY he's a pathetic little man that needs so so so badly to be liked, so he doesn't want to be caught, but. Not badly enough to just not molest people.

Catherine meanwhile is Openly Terrifying! Her job basically involves various forms of purification, including Exorcisms and Punishing People Who Break Their Vows. Also looking after the temple-sanctioned weaponry. I think people avoid her, because she's kind of giving off constant bad vibes lmao. Thinks a lil highly of herself. She is Pure and Moral and Better Than Other People. She is also stubborn in this belief! So when she starts having lustful thoughts about people, obviously she can't be to blame for that! It just means whoever that is, they are Evil and Tempting Her! Better vent her sadistic tendencies onto them about it. Weirdly, when she does snap and do a rape and get what she actually wants though, she tends to change her tune and start babbling weird praise at her victim out of seemingly nowhere. Essentially, she is SOOOO gross and pathetic. I think as an in-game NPC, she'd react to your allure, but she'd have different flavour text depending on your Grace and Purity. Also might torture some demons...

I try! I also forget and get so caught up trying to write "meaningful replies" that I tend to fall behind on them ahaha

Hhhh well it hasn't ended, but probably Battle of Attrition (since it's all just whump) or Never Say Die, a tiny thing about some of the OCxOC lead-up to the Conclave.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my writing is pretty bittersweet at best, but probably Shrike, a lil Cullen PoV fic about his and Connor's relationship.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have in the past.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Only privately, and of the heavily character focused kink variety. Trust and emotional vulnerability through physical intimacy my beloved.

Not off the top of my head, no.

Not that I'm aware, but I mostly write OCs so probably not lol

... All time? Axel x Saix, probably ahahaha for Dragon Age though I'd say my favorite romance is Iron Bull's.

I have yet to finish anything ever soooo

Banter and character voice! The transcript project mostly means I've heard and read so much character dialogue that their voices are ingrained in my skull. I'm also told that I'm pretty good at grounding things in physical sensation.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I've always really struggled with head-hopping and under-explaining, I think.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've never needed to, but it depends on the fic/language. If it's something the reader would already be familiar with like or a word or phrase, I'd write it in the language, but for longer lines or a full conversation, I would either summarize for the reader or write the conversation in italicized English.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Naruto!

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Definitely my long fic, I'm very proud of it, but I love all my writing! I write very specifically to my own tastes ahahah Though my whump fic has been so indulgent it's definitely near the top.

tell me the milo lore, coward (lighthearted)

bet, to preface though, i am a gay lil shit and so theres a fair bit of oc x canon and weaving his backstory into pre-existing characters ect ect because its fun

the very basics!! Milo is an avatar of the dark that is not entangled in the whole mess of the peoples church of the divine host, however he does have some history with the catholic church.

BACKSTORY- START OF S1 STUFF

he was marked by the dark when he was very young, in an incident that ended up with his immediate family dead and him missing, during which he was also marked by the lonely. eventually he was found and was placed to live with his aunt (mothers side), who was a nun and got him into the church. he was unfortunately targeted and groomed by the priest (i dont know how to make that sound any less harsh my apologies) and generally did a lot of suffering in silence, all the while the temptations of the dark were eating at him. he made a plan to escape to go to college in london, but was found out and accused of being possessed (because they wanted to keep him in the church not out of any genuine concern of him being possessed). an exorcism was attempted on him and he ended up 'dying' in the process. his death was the catalyst for him becoming a full avatar (think like how jon only became a full avatar after pretty much dying in the unknowing) and he killed the priest in an act of revenge and then made his escape, still not knowing what exactly was going on with him as he didnt have any idea what the fears were. since he was declared dead he wasnt a suspect in the priests death, but had some trouble with creating a new identity to go by afterwards because he was still trying to live like a normal person and go to college and all that jazz.

in college was where he ended up meeting Oliver Banks, who took pity on him and finally explained what on earth was going on with him. the two dated briefly before they graduated, milo graduated with a bachelors in library science (if that is the correct name for it im not sure) and ended up getting a job in artifact storage in the magnus institute. (circa 2007, so gertrude era) he was pretty good at his job but was really quiet and private to the point he got a joke reputation for just being a ghost.

when jon became archivist he was transferred to the archives as an assistant, after a 'deal' with elias. elias would make sure he didnt have to hurt ppl to get fear, in return for making sure jon (he said everyone but he rlly only cared abt jon making it) lasted long enough for elias' goals (which he did not share with milo obviously). so milo was sent down to the archives to be a guard dog of sorts.

HOW HIS AVATAR SHIT WORKS

hes less associated with the whole cult-y aspect of the dark (and in fact actively despises the peoples church of the divine host despite their attempts to recruit him) and is closely tied to the 'brackish water' thats often associated with it. both his parents and the priest he killed died via their lungs being filled with black water. he needs skin to skin contact and intention in order to actually kill, which is why he constantly wears gloves, just in case. if he were to touch someone on. say, their chest, they'd get very cold, their throat would start to close and their vision would darken, like the background, other than milo, is fading to black. their lungs fill with black fluid and it usually pours from their mouth, nose and eyes. they basically drown on dry land and he's the only thing they see. its not super flashy and is usually very quiet up until when they yk. collapse

OTHER RELATIONS

the lukas family! milos father was one of the few lukas' that rejected the lonely and left, in an attempt to keep his children away from the lonely/the fears in general. however he sadly was unsuccessful.

Tim Stoker!! milo had a fwb situation with tim up until his death, the two had fallen for each other but never got the chance to say it, and with tim being so volatile in s3, when he learned that milo was an avatar they had a huge fight

Michael (distortion)! the two are.. i dont want to say friends but milo is very colorblind and that takes away so much of what makes the distortion scary so hes not very afraid of it, which it is fascinated by.

hes also got some history with @itschesshire 's ocs bastian and silas :))))

Gertrude Robinson. she pretty quickly found him out and they had a deal of sorts. they left each other alone and he wrote a statement (which jon later finds) as a sort of failsafe if he ended up being a problem for gertrude

OTHER????

Under normal circumstances none of my oc’s are druids but for the sake of the question, Dorian would just be some normal druid who people go to when they need to be calmed down bc he has such a big protective and kind aura. Rebeca'd be an undercover spy currently stationed @ the dark core oil rig. Sienna is probably learning wild whispering from Rhiannon.

10. Dorian: Some small, intimate lil cafe with comfortable armchairs and fairy lights. Rebeca: Straight to hell. Sienna: Probably a museum or an art exhibit.

15. Dorian: Never in a million years. I want to say Rebeca would kill someone but if they did it would upset Dorian, and Rebeca values Dorian’s happiness just a lil more than they value murder. Sienna, however, would kill someone (so long as the reason’s good enough) and probably get away with it.

Grab-bag Dialogue from my Cursed TMA x Obey Me Crossover

*CW for parasites, flesh eating worms, self-mutilation for survival purposes, dialogue partially taken from MAG39. Context/explanation under the cut.*

Martin: I used to carry around a knife, but I started thinking that, well, cutting into someone laterally wasn’t really the most efficient way to get [the worms] out, and besides which, they seem to be quite slow burrowing in a straight line so, given their size, th-the corkscrew just seemed to be the better option.

Sasha: I guess it would be pretty stupid to try to just *stab* them out

Meanwhile...

Ori, jamming gauze into one worm hole and stabbing another with a pocket knife: WHAT THE F U C K IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE?!

Some context! Cringe culture is dead in 2021 so I’ve decided to share one of my frequent daydreams with the world, which is a funky lil crossover between the otome Obey Me, essentially a demon fucking/family therapy simulator, and the horror anthology podcast The Magnus Archives!

I plan on eventually writing a long fic centred on my MC/OC Ori, who fills a similar role to Jon/The Archivist in an American sister organization to the Magnus Institute (is it the Usher Foundation? Probably not bc while there’s not a lot of canon info about it, I think I’d rather make my own thing so I can BS whatever I’d like to about it). They’re penpals with the Archivist bc they frequently swapped research with each other during international collabs, and they planned on visiting him in person. This was interrupted by an impromptu kidnapping to Hell :)

Anyway, at some point, Ori manages to sneak back to the human world and make it to the Archives after all! Except they’re kinda... in the middle of something. That something being a worm infestation.

I don’t guarantee that this exact scenario will be in the fic, but bc of how long I anticipate this to take me, I wanna share some of my thoughts and ideas as I go, so you’ll probably see some more silly things like this in the future!

favourite colours: the whole spectrum of green. literally all of it. olive green??? cool and earthy. deep emerald??? majestic. pastels??? calming and elegant. fluorescents and limes??? YES give me that fairly odd parents cosmo shit. the only possible exception would be chartreuse, which actually slaps as a colour, but i thought it was a shade of red/maroon for the longest time and i felt betrayed when i found out 😔

last song i listened to: f2020 - avenue beat. hella catchy, such a bop. definitely the anthem of the year. i also really respect that it was made as a meme, then released officially after everyone related to it a lil too hard LMAO

favourite musicians: hozier, logic, doja cat, arctic monkeys, george ezra, the lumineers, half��alive, amongst others. i’m also really into musical soundtracks! hamilton, beetlejuice, hadestown, etc. let me know what y’all listen to, i’d love to get some new beats ;)

last film i watched: the two popes. hella late, as usual, but i really, really liked it. the dialogue is ARTFUL and as someone who doesn’t consider a religion a large part of their life, it cast an interesting light on one’s relationship with god. also way funnier than i expected lmao

last tv show i watched: haikyuu. does anime count? anyway, they finally added seasons 2-4 to indian netflix, so i’m getting back into these volleyball boys 😤please please PLEASE come scream at me about weeb shit. i welcome it.

favourite original character: i’m assuming this means my own oc’s? hm well from the hospitality series, i gotta say vosca. she’s a feral, wholesome child and i love her. but from original fiction i develop for fun, there’s a girl called danishka that i really like. museum archivist by day, reluctant superhero by night, has a hopeless crush on both the neighbours next door. she’s kinda relatable but also Not A Good Role Model. the dream is to write something for that universe, but where is the motivation!!!!!! fuck if i know 😩

sweet, spicy, or savoury: sweet, ANY day.

sparkling water, tea, or coffee: out of preference, i gotta say tea. there are so many variations! from so many different countries/cultures! you can add cool stuff to it! but it’s kind of tradition in my household to have coffee together at least once a day, so that holds a special place in my heart, too. tbh as long as it’s sweet, and can be cold, i love it. sparkling water can suck my dick and rot in hell. why does it exist. what the fuck.

pets: none, unfortunately. but there’s a family of cats hanging around my apartment complex, and i respect their vibe. same with the frogs who show up after it rains, too. fat little bastards. they’re the best. i really wanted a tortoise as a kid, but the uv lighting and enclosure were more expensive than the critter himself, so we couldn’t :(

If your OCs were stranded on a desert island and forced to live off a diet of seltzer and worms, who would crack first? Who wouldn't even mind? Do you have a PoC? How about an Ace? Nonbinary? (no pressure if you don't live your life don't let society force you, I'm just curious.) Also, you're awesome and valid.

Valens likes small bugs, he loves to watch bugs go about their day for hours.

the first OC of mine that would crack would probably be Archivist and Gelu. Archy is used to finery, and Gelu LOVES food and making food so it would be rough on her XD

Snare (gryphon), Unnow and Ravnik wouldn’t mind (both Nagas) since they ate bugs as lil babies. Worms would be ok XD And Snare is part bird so. My vamps would be chill for a little while until hunger sets in but they wouldn’t crack first for sure

I do have a PoC OC, it is Archy, her human form.

Valens is Ace, Arva is nonbinary. Those two are Brigands, a race of plant people and most of them are genderfluid or nonbianary in general.

Someone said to and it’s not very hard to persuade me so uh

Tma ocs ex dee

First I’m gonna show off Clara, i do not currently have full pieces of these ocs, only lil doodles so you shall have to deal with it.

I also need to build on these ocs more but rn they’re just funny lil oingo boingos that i mess with in my head

Her full name is Clara Wright and she is The Archivist in this version of the world.

So far, she’s stubborn and somewhat aggressive however also anxious as f u c k.

Basically she will beat someone up and then struggle to order food at a restaurant moments later.

I have this idea that as she loses her humanity and tries to hang on to any threads of it, digging herself deeper into a hole of denial, she starts seeing eyes everywhere, in every pattern ect, which makes her even more paranoid than normal and only pushing her further into becoming an avatar.

Can’t even go to therapy, doesn’t like the thought of the therapist knowing anything that she does or doesn’t know about herself and her life

Rn the storyline is pretty much the same as the actual one in the tma series, as I didn’t want to tear apart my brain to create yet another story and world, i simply want to have fun with these dudes.

This may change in the future but i am unsure of when if ever.
