M Oneshot: I believe in you.

Yoongi x Reader Gender: Male x Male Genre: Fluff (with a bit of angst) Warning: - Word count: 1346 A/N: Story was inspired by this song. Note: Female version of this story.

4 AM.

“Yoongi it’s late…Where are you going?” He mumbled, his voice drowsy from sleep. He was right, it was already passed midnight and the bustling city had died down into soft uneven beeps and roaring of car engines. In fact morning should be showing up anytime soon. “I’m going to the studio, the boys will also be there. Just wait alright, maybe I’ll be home earlier tonight.” I said as I slipped on some jeans and a large black hoodie that reeked of him. He must’ve been wearing it again. Knowing he wears my clothing when I’m not around brought a joyful sadness that tied knots in my stomach. “Okay…be safe.” He yawned out before he fell back into his slumber. Before I left his bedroom I took a quick glance at his body, how his arms clasped around one of the pillows. Is that suppose to be me?

12 AM. Drunkenly I stumbled into his apartment. The pile of keys and keychains clattering on the wooden floorboards. Placing my finger against my lips I shushed them to be quiet, not wanting to wake up my dearest. A smile spread across my lips as his sleeping figure crossed my image. Of all the things about him, him sleeping figure was my favorite. It was a reminder how peaceful things can be. “Yoongi?” His voice was drowsy again when was the last time I had heard his voice full of energy? His body was wrapped in a white oversized hoodie, his hands scratching over his messy bed hair. He looked so adorable I think my favorite image has changed. “Ow baby~” I sang out spreading my arms wide open, kicking my shoes off I stumbled towards, almost tripping on my way to him. The moonlight that poured through his windows made me realize how late it actually was. “Baby, I’m so sowy, I pomis to…” I knitted my brows in order to find the right words, but I couldn’t find any. Cold hands cupped my burning red cheeks drawing attention back to his face. “Let’s go to bed,” he suggested. I slowly nodded my head. The way his frame was so beautifully portrayed by the moonlight made me second guess my favorite image once again. 10 AM. The chirping of the birds sounded like screams. Groaning I moved around in bed, my arms searching for something that wasn’t there. Slowly opening my eyes I looked to my side to find nothing but pillows and the other half of the blanket. Furrowing my eyebrows I slowly and carefully got up, trying my best to keep everything in that I consumed the other night. As I opened the bedroom door I was greeted with the smell of spices. Shuffling through the hall and into the living room I turned to look at the open kitchen where he was humming one of my songs. “Morning,” I grumbled. Grabbing one of the island chairs and dragging it across the floor causing my to cringe at the loud noise. Groaning loudly I took a seat. The second I sat at the kitchen island a bowl was gently placed down in front of me. Surprised I look up only to see the back of him once again. “Aren’t you going to eat as well?” He slowly shook her head. “I to get ready.” “Where are you going?” His soft chuckle, though it triggered my headache, brought warmth to my heart. Turning around he gave me a warm smile and pointed at the clock “I have school, did you forget?” I glanced at the clock and back at him. What should’ve been a decent morning suddenly crashed. There were deep and dark bags under his smiling eyes, in fact his whole appearance looked like he could crumble and fall with a simple touch. How come I only now noticed this?

17 PM. “Hyung!” Jungkook called out from behind the studio door. “Come in.” The door cracked open revealing a photo shoot ready Jungkook, he was just training a couple of minutes ago. “Yah, don’t you look fancy. Where are you going?” “Oh, Y/N is here to pick me up to go to the movies.” My ears perked up. “Y/N?” I asked. “Yeah, he asked me to give you this,” Jungkook revealed a plastic bag from his back. Still a bit confused I grabbed the bag “uh, thanks.” I mumbled. “No problem, talk to you later okay?” Nodding once more I watched how Jungkook disappeared. Blinking a couple of times I looked down at the bag, lazily opening it up to show the contents of it. The bag was filled with medicine and sweets and on top of it all was a pink sticky note. Reaching for it I pulled it out of the bag and read what was written on it; Take care of yourself and have some sweets! I believe in you! Y/N.

A wave of sorrow crashed into me, with my other free hand I clasped it around my mouth in order to keep myself from crying. Perhaps it was because of Jungkook or the bag or the mix of both that I realized my own boyfriend never asked to come home early or asked to make time for her. Even though I am always cooped up in my studio or at work, even though I barely have any time for him, he never once acted selfish. Is it because he knows that once this is all over the time I couldn’t spend with him will be made up in the end? I didn’t realize that tears were dripping down my face and over my hand. Letting out a choked out sob I started to crumble into a ball. God, he’s perfect. 20 PM. “Surprise!” Surprised he was. Clutching at the fabric of my hoodie that he borrowed he let out a heavy sigh. “Don’t scare me like that!” he pouted, causing me to chuckle. Shrugging off his large parka I once bought and kicking off his shoes, he walked towards me. “I thought you were working till late.” “So did I, but I decided to come home early and surprise you.” His features contorted into a thankful look followed by a soft smile. “Surprise you did.” He whispered out as she fell into my arms, his fingers ghosting over my face. My arms wrapped around his waist pulling him even closer as we swayed to a silent song. The love in his eyes almost made me break down, or maybe it was for the bags under his eyes that seemed to grow bigger. “Yoongi?” He whispered out. “You know how much I love you right?” I whispered back, the sudden affection causing him to look down in embarrassment and chuckle. The action made my heart stutter and I couldn’t help but press my lips against the top of his head. Not wanting to move away from him I began to mumble against his hair. “You know how much you mean to me right?” “What is all of this, Yoongi?” “Y/N…” I pulled him closer if possible, taking in his scent before letting out a deep breath. “Just wait okay? Soon the boys and I will be big, so big that you’ll hear on the streets ‘those bangtan boys, they are famous!’ Just wait okay? Soon you can be proud of your own man.” He chuckled even more, his body shifting so that he can look up to me. “But Yoongi, I am already proud of you.” I tried my hardest to suppress a smile. Shaking my head slowly I ghosted my fingers across his face and let them go back to their original position. “I don’t think you get it Y/N.” With knitted eyebrows he looked confused at me. “Let me make this simpler. Soon you can be proud of your husband.” His eyes slowly widened with shock and in the corners I could see tears building up. “Just wait okay?” Hiding his face in my chest he nodded. “I believe in you, Yoongi.”

Oops

So I realised the other day that I should really actually....post on here more? Rather than just reblogging stuff, I keep forgetting to actually...have a presence >_>” Woops. So I will try and actually use tumblr for more than reblogging, for those few of you who come hunting on here for like, fanfic updates and shit lol.

So yeh, here’s an update! I’m still working on the next chapter of my HP VRMMO fic, the Department of Magical Integration. Its well underway but I’ve gotten distracted (so sorry!).

What I’m distracted by: So, when I was still working, before I had to quit because of my chronic headaches, I started trying to create an rpgmaker horror game. I’ve taken that up again. Its slow going at the moment because I’m still working on the story and some of the details before implementation properly starts, but yeh, that’s what I’m working on mostly right now.

I’ve also been clearing through some old ideas on things, and I’ve got a story idea I started, so I’ll either post it up as a stand alone, or embed it into a full-fledged fic, depending on if/when I can do that. So yeh, I am also coming up with non-DoMI writings to work on.

In other news, my sib has finally gotten their streaming channel up, for those of you who like to watch streaming on twitch. Lee is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1pm-9pm GMT. Also maybe some weekends and stuff, but that’s the main schedule. They were playing Killing Floor last time, though that won’t be all they play. Link is below, for those interested!

The EXO’rDium in Manila Day 2

After 1 year and 1 month, the kings are back in Manila!! Exo’rDium in Manila! The boys are back with 2 nights concert. Dated February 25, 2017 for the first day and February 26, 2017 for the second day. It was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao. And guess who's freaking excited? Phixo!! Me!! EVERYBODY!!

Last year, I was in the Lowerbox B, day 2. This year, after so much "Kakuripotan" and “Iponing”,(Thank you 13th month and freelancer.ph!) I was able to purchase the VIP Seated Ticket! Costy? Yes! A LOT! But that was just some of the things that I did for them, even I can't believe it.

And so the nights of the concert came! Sadly, as in SUPER SAD AND FRUSTRATING, Zhang Yixing/Lay won't be able to attend the concerts again. It really broke my poor fangirl heart. I thought that I'll be able to see my love this time but no. Reason, the producer said it's because of his other commitments. Just goes to show how hard working my baby is! However, my guess would be because of some 'politics'. One thing is for sure, It's not his fault! Stop blaming him guys! Let's just wait for the right time that we'll be able to witness his handsomeness in person.

Going back to the concert. I really tried my best not to spazz what's happening from day 1. I promised not to open twitter but then again, I failed. hehe I really got hyped with all those videos uploaded. Guess what, the morning of Feb 26, 2017 my mom saw me smiling right after I woke up. I did it unconsciously. hehehe

My friend whom I met at last year's concert, Raine, also came with me this time. Due to traffic and slow walking people, it's already 4:30 when I got in the venue. Raine, got there first. When we got inside, the coliseum is almost full already! And the stage is sooooo much closer than I thought!! *But my phone camera make it seem like its far. Sorry. hehehe

The concert started at exactly 5:30 pm. I sooo love the opening VCR!! They crowd got soo hyped up!! The opening VCR seemed like it lasted for 10 mins. It's soo cool. I got the "W" feeling after I saw the comic book effects on the video.

And so the concert began!! Wooooohhh!! It's only the first song but I already got tired. I shouted as much as my lungs can take! It's not just me but everyone inside. I couldn't even hear their voices because of the screams!

I didn't get to take a picture of the very first part because I forgot to when I saw them. I don't know what to do first, to capture the moment or to watch the moment. The result:

When I finally got to see them clearly, I automatically counted the members present. I know. I know. I just wish that Lay would surprise us that night. Whatever!

The first set of songs include the remix versions of MAMA, Monster and WOLF. I love the remix versions especially the monster because of Baekhyun’s solo dance! PH EXO-Ls cheered for him all through out that part! (Byun Baekhyun!! Byun Baekhyun!! Byun Baekhyun!!)

Here are some of the shots I took from the first set of songs. I didn’t took a lot because I’m busy fangirling. hahaha

MENT TIME!! As usual, the screams were sooooooo freaking loud!! The members introduced themselves in english. It was so fun hearing them speak in english. They were all so excited with the concert! Chen and Kai looked so hot because of their sweat. They were all so hot nowadays!!

However, Baekhyun saw some fans got injured on the standing side. He said on his ment that when another fan got injured, they'll stop the concert. NO!! They asked everyone in the standing area to take a step backwards. Thankfully, they followed them nicely and they didn't need to ask them again.

When it's Suho's time to speak, he was working so hard to finish his ment in english and in the middle of his speech, he paused for a short time. The crowd cheered for him louder! He's so cute! He even took a bow after the screams.

Now it's the second set of songs!! The sexy songs! LOL. They were supposed to have a rain on stage but they didn't push it through, maybe because of the space. The second stage includes White Noise, Thunder, Playboy and the most anticipated Artificial Love! But the stage is still full of their sexy body waves and godly voices.

Kai needs to stop winking and doing a finger heart while he’s covered with sweat. It’s a fangirl’s death!

BUT! Here's the highlight of the second set of songs. The Artificial Love crane Dance!! Woop Woop!! I managed to take a video of Baekhyun in this dance. Here it is:

Sorry for my voice. As you can hear all I got to say is ‘Oh My god’! hihihi Don't need any explanation.

VCR TIME!

I couldn't forget this VCR! It's because the very first frame is Lay's face! He's so cute! He's so handsome! He's such a boyfriend material! I love seeing them having fun by themselves. I wish they also have a time to party like that by themselves. Just having a lot of fun together.

They are wearing all white and their skin is so white so the result from my camera:

Jamming Time! Chanyeol is in charge of the guitar. That curly haired giant was so hyper playing with his guitar that Suho needs to stop him for them to start. Cute! The first song they sang is the good old Hawak Kamay by Yeng Constantino. After a few lines, Suho reminisced the time when they forst sing this song. It was 4 years ago from the DKFC concert. Just about their debut year. They promised to sing a new Filipino Song when they come back next year.

Chanyeol played the acoustic versions of their songs (My Lady, My Turn to Cry, Moonlight, Call Me Baby, Love,Love,Love and Lady Luck) and just like the whole time, PH Exo-Ls sang along with them. I don't care if I got the lyrics wrong, as long as there is melody. HAHAHA! They even let us sing some parts alone. Here are some of the snaps.

They sang What If during this part (but I’m not pretty much sure).

When they were singing, the background shows their serious faces. I didn't forget to take a photo of Lay with the rest of the members. I take a photo everytime he appears on screen.

Here are some of the snaps of the next stages which includes Tender Love and Love Me Right.

The Vocal Line, D.O., Chen, Baekhyun and Suho were left to sing in the middle of the stage. They sang One and Only and Stronger.

Chen's voice is so lovely. He's slowly climbing up on my already ruined bias list. My heart still flatters when I hear them sing live. It's surreal.

Fun Time! Haha. The VCR for their next stage is adorable. The VCR where their heads were huge. All of them are so cute that I wanted to make them into a keychain. Hahaha But D.O. role is the cutest. He's a sleepy head!

I didn’t get to take too much picture with this stage because this was the time when I stared at their faces one by one. They all look like an angel. Especially Chanyeol, who all throughout this stage is so hyper! He keeps on shuffling and running around each member. I wonder how can they be so cute and handsome and hot, all at the same time.

For the next VCR, the first frame showed ChanBaek riding a motorcycle going to the stadium. While the other members are preparing for the concert. I remember a shot of Lay while sleeping, Kai while having his hair blow dried and the beagle line being beagles.

I thought that all they’ll do for the whole VCR but hey! There’s more! The VCR prepared by the Dance Line! (Kai, Sehun, Lay). I didn’t got to take a full video because I wasn’t prepared. Here’s some part from the VCR. I started capturing on Lay’s part. I remember this performance during one of the awards night last 2016.

After that, the next set of stages are the, as I call it, “Handsome Stages”. All their stages for their songs like Overdose, Transformer and Lightsaber! Here are some snaps:

Time for their ment! And this ment is the longest! The only members left were Suho, Chen, Kai and D.O. Chanyeol, Xiumin, Baekhyun and Sehun went backstage to change costumes. They were all wearing just plain black shirt in which they all look hot. (like all the time)

This time, Suho revealed that a lot of them were injured from the first day of concert. He said it was a secret but he also said that they were all healed by how much crazy(in a good way) PH fans are.

Here are some tiny bits that I remember from what they said. D.O. said that he discovered new Filipino food that he likes, ‘Lechon Manok’. He said he didn’t have a chance to taste the pork but he will the next time they come back. Suho also enumearte which places in the PH he wants to visit and it includes Boracay etc. (haha can’t remember). He also asked Kai about what places in the PH he thinks is popular and guess what Jongin said. “Yeogiyo” (This place) (this place is now the most popular).

The leader-nim noticed the fanproject a while ago and he asked for a sample banner. He asked some fans on the standing area for a copy. Like what happened last concert, he held it up and showed it to the members. He also asked us what does the alibata written means. Even though they can’t understand what we’re saying (Imagine thousand of fans explaining at the same time, how would you understand a thing?). They just concluded that it means I Love You. Which is quite right because the alibata written in it is “Iniirog Kita, Bes”.

This time, Baekhyun, Chanyeol Xiumin and Sehun were left on stage while the other went backstage. Baekhyun kept on talking about how crazy PH EXO-Ls are. He once again asked us to stomp our feet and so the whole coliseum sounded like a whole battalion running from somewhere. They were amazed about how passionate we are.

The fans chanted “PHIXO” after that. We are expecting for him to remember us from the concert last year. He named us “PHIXO” last concert after seeing some fans dance from the standing area. Again, they didn’t got to understand what we’re saying. Gladly, after several minutes of chanting, Baekhyun finally understood. “Ahh, Phixo! Philippine EXO!” Finally guys! Finally!!

Now it’s time to party!! Sehun, Xiumin and Chanyeol thought us on how we’ll respond with their next song. “Katchi Katchi Hae!” (Do It Together).

Chanyeol asked us to stand up and just get crazy! You know it’s about to get really crazy! The song is not yet commercially released and it’s just exclusive for the EXO’rDium Concerts! It’s just like Drop That but with a different feels! The Rap Line nailed it! Everybody was on their feet, jumping cheering and getting crazy!

After that Chanyeol had his solo stage with his Electric Guitar skills!

Soon after, the members went out to party with us! Chen, why do you have to show up wearing a muscle tee? Don’t you know how much hot you are with your biceps?! But thank you for showing it, though.

LET’S PARTY!! The fans partied with their songs like Full Moon, Drop That, Let Out The Beast, Lucky and Remix version of Run. Imagine partying with the boys! It’s really unforgettable and we didn’t even feel tired after all!

We finally got time to relax for a bit when they went off stage. It was also several minutes and we seemed to miss them already. We started chanting “E-X-O!”

It’s now the ENCORE STAGE which means the concert is about to end. NO!!! The boys came back wearing their white baseball jersey shirts! They sang Cloud 9, Growl and Lucky one!

I love seeing them goof around while playing with the toys on stage. The one that caught their attention is the moving puppy stuffed toy. Xiumin even played with it while performing. Chen placed it on the side when they were going to dance.

They’re in the middle of their performance but see how Chen and Xiumin look at the little moving puppy.

And here you can see Baekhyun lying on stage. In which Chanyeol also did after their Tender Love stage.

For these songs, they were just roaming around the stage to get close and wave to the fans. The fans threw some stuffed toys on stage and the stage became messy! Hahaha For Lucky One here’s a video a Suho getting all hyped up dancing alone! Our funny Leader everyone. And you can also see how ChanBaek danced together at the back.

Now, time for the last MENT! NOOOOOOOO!!!!

How time flies when you’re having too much fun! All of them said their thanks to us. Suho asked us to anticipate their comeback here next year! YES! YES! YES! Kai said that their 2 day concert in the PH will be unforgettable for him and the members as well.

Baekhyun said that all of them really got crazy that night. Proof? He just sang “I Believe I can Fly” while wearing a pink butterfly wings and a cute white hat. Chanyeol played so well while wearing an Iron man Mask and he pretended to fly and run around the stage. Suho also said that when all of their fan gather in one place he can easily locate where the PH EXO-Ls are. YEP YEP YEP![Filipino fans are one of the best crowd you’ll ever see in the world! And that’s a fact, even Steve Harvey from the Ms. Universe will agree! Hahaha]

The leadernim really got curious about the banner and he maybe asked the Filipino staff backstage about it and for the last time all of the members shouted “Iniirog Kita, Bes. Manila!” We all got Bes-zoned. hahahahaha

Now it’s really their last stage. They sang Angel for the last time. The members roamed the whole stage waving to every section of the coliseum. The member who’s very diligent about waving at every fan he could is the Maknae, Sehun. I even thought that I got an eye contact with him and Kai.

All throughout the concert, we sang all of their songs, from the very first up to the last one) together with them and they even asked us some time to sing it louder! During the VCRs, we also sang their songs even if it’s just instrumental. Now, tell me how dedicated we are the whole concert! hahaha

Before saying Goodbye, they even asked for a picture together. YES!!!! I finally have a picture with them!! hahahaha (as of writing, they still haven’t uploaded the photo) Here’s how they posed for it from my perspective.

Yes, it’s me screaming from the background. And again, sorry for my ugly voice. hahaha

I love how Chanyeol screamed “Mahal Ko Kayo!” so long! and As you heard, they promised to come back! Sehun stayed on stage until the screen closed.

Bye boys!! I already miss you big time!! And don’t worry, I’ll be there with you again, next year! I promise! I love you guys!!

PS. I wrote this as detailed as I could because I want it to be properly documented for my future reading, when I want to reminisce the moments I had with them.

PPS. All the photos and videos I used are all mine. The pictures are blurred and unfocused, I know, but don’t bash, my phone doesn’t have a good quality camera.

Summary: You’ve been in love with a boy since you were 6 years old, however, that is also when you left him, moving to Minnesota. Now that you are officially an adult and fresh out of college, you burn some time and get a job, conveniently working alongside him.

Your P.O.V. (Second P.O.V.)

~Remember back to when you were 6 years old. That's where this will start~

You laughed as the little boy you had been playing with, landed a perfect flip off of the best swing in this park. "Yayyy! Good job Bear! Teach me please?" You questioned staring into his blue-green eyes.

"I dunno, I might have to go soon..."

"But Barryyyyyy,"

"Fine. But only for a little bit," he responds while giggling at your sudden transition from a pouty face, to an extremely excited one.

You, being the quick learner that you are, had soon perfected the little trick and called your mother over so you could both show-off. "Mommy! Come look at what my new friend taught me!"

"Hmm?" Your mother looked up from her book to watch you guys. You both successfully landed as she clapped and laughed at your scared face when you had almost lost your balance.

You turned towards Barry as your mother informed you that you'd have to go home soon. "Thanks Bear!" You were grinning from ear-to-ear as you continued, "I had so much fun today and meeting you! I couldn't ask for a better friend!"

"No problem, Y/N! You'll come back tomorrow, right?"

"Yep!" You exclaimed, popping the "p."

"Okie! Bye Y/N and Ms. Y/L/N!"

"Bye-bye!" You and your mother both responded.

You had kept going to that park, every day, just to spend more time with your newest friend. In fact, the end of summer was drawing nearer, and your family was planning on moving, tomorrow, on account of your father being promoted. You didn't know exactly where you were moving to, as you tried to tune out their voices everytime your parents talked about moving. You hated the thought of leaving. Leaving your hometown, friends, close family, and hiding spots was too much for you. But, you couldn't really do much about it, seeing as you were 6. So, instead, you went around and got pictures of your favorite spots and people, while your sister/brother tagged along, to make sure you wouldn't get kidnapped, this is L.A. for Pete's sake.

At last, you ended up at your favorite park. You immediately smiled as you saw Barry waiting for you on the swings. "BEAR-BEAR!" You screeched, as your brother/sister sighed and you took off towards the swing set.

"Y/N/N!" He yelled back, jumping off the swing and bracing himself for your daily tackle-jump on him.

Your sister/brother chuckled, turning their camera on and taking a couple pictures and you and Barry fell on the grass.

You both sat up and immediately fell back over laughing. You eventually stood up and posed as your sibling took pictures of you both. After all the fuss was over you and Barry sat on the swings one last time before you would leave. "I'm going to miss you so much, Y/N," Barry said, slightly tearing up. "I don't want you to leave..."

"I don't want to either," you were tearing up as well, but tried not to show it. "Just, pinky promise you won't forget me?"

"Pinky promise."

You hugged each other for a bit, then, wiping your eyes, stood up. "Y/N! Time to go! You still have to finish packing up your books!"

"Coming Y/S/N!" You yelled. "Bye-bye forever Bear..."

"Bye-bye Y/N/N..." He whispered, holding back tears, as you walked away. Away from your favorite person, knowing you'd never forget how much this boy meant to you.

That night, you had finished packing and ended up crying yourself to sleep. Your father had come in to wake you up at 3:40 a.m. They had finished packing everything, except everyone's sleeping bags and suitcases of essentials and clothing, into the moving van. You rolled up your sleeping bag, tossed it into the back of your families mini-van, grabbed your suitcase, and jumped in the truck, falling back asleep as you left your old life behind.

~Fast-forward to when you are 18, moving out of your small home in Minnesota, and moving back out to California, L.A. specifically, to start college~

You sat in your living room, surrounded by clothing, books, supplies, and photo albums. Sighing, you looked up at you mother. She laughed, "how about I pack this stuff in the suitcases, and you pick which photos you want."

"Really? Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" You exclaimed falling backward onto your pile of photo books. "Ouch!"

Your mother laughed even harder and you shot her a death glare. Picking up an album without removing your glare, you looked puzzled at it. "Mom, were all these from when we were in Cali?" You questioned, flipping through the pages.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that album! You can have it, it's mostly you anyway."

You looked back down, then stood up. "I'll be back in an hour, okay?"

"Alright, just don't forget bug spray, it's in the bathroom!" She shouted as you walked towards the bathroom.

That was just like your mother to read your mind and know where you were going. Then again, it's the only place where no one bugs you (minus the actual bugs).

After applying bug spray, and grabbing some sweats, you began the trek, up the hill, to your treehouse. You dad had helped you build it when your family first moved to Minnesota. You immediately claimed it as yours, and that's the way it has stayed for 12 years.

Climbing up the worn ladder, you stopped at the top and turned around. This gave you the perfect view of the just-beginning sunset. ‘Perfect!’ You thought as you finished your ascent into the small room. Sitting at your small desk, and giving yourself another breathtaking view of the setting sun, you switched on your small battery-powered lamp and opened the book.

As you slowly turned the pages, one-by-one, memories flooded to the front of your mind. Tears started flowing as you saw pictures of your siblings, parents, friends, family, and events. Wiping your eyes, you flipped to the last page and saw one single picture. It was you and a small boy... what was his name? He seemed so familiar, yet, you couldn't remember his name.

By now the sun had completely sunk. You shut the book, turned off the light, and left your treehouse, back towards your house.

When you walked in, the scent of your favorite dinner filled your nose. Smiling, you walked back to the living room and placed the album in one of your suitcases.

~Timeskip to after you graduate college because I haven't even been through it and I don't know what to write xD~

"Thanks for watching everyone, next time on (Y/C/N)" You waved goodbye to everyone and ended the video. "WOOP TIME TO EDIT!" You screamed, knowing no one would hear you.

You had started this whole YouTube thing, as just a hobby back in your second year of college. It gave you something to keep you busy, considering you breezed through assignments and classes, and you were creative enough to keep the channel going and growing. You were currently at 2.6 million subscribers, gaining about 450,000 more a week. After you had graduated college with a bachelor's degree in I/D/H. You had decided to just stay in L.A. to continue your channel and see where life takes you. But now, being a full-time YouTuber, only uploading twice a week, you had a lot of free time. As much as you loved spending that time playing video games, you needed something more challenging, more..... exciting.

So, the next day, you were flipping through the area's newspaper. Maybe there would be an ad for you to earn a little extra money?

Suprise, surprise, there was! "Experienced editor needed for video making. $---- per week, call Suzy at, xxx-xxx-xxxx for details," you read to yourself. "Hmm, why not? I could do that!"

You immediately grabbed your cell and dialed the number. She picked up almost instantly and you talked for about 10 minutes, then, set up a Skype interview. Suzy sounded so excited to hear from someone, like, this position was needed A.S.A.P. or something. She also said that you sounded like the type of person they were looking for, so that made you extra happy!

~Timeskip to a week later, an hour before the interview~

You looked at the clock. 4:30. The interview was in an hour and you were so excited, that you had started getting ready 2 hours ago. Being extra careful with your outfit choice and make-up. You were wearing black jeans and converse, as well as a Legend of Zelda sweatshirt and your lucky watch. You had only done your eye make-up, considering you felt your lips looked fine the way they were. You quickly put your H/C hair into a messy bun and turned on your favorite show.

Soon, it was 5:25. You jumped up and grabbed your laptop, pulling up Skype, and making sure you looked alright. At exactly 5:30 sharp, the ringing starts. Putting on a smile, you answered.

~Timeskip again because I've never had a Skype interview~

"Well, thank you so much for letting me have this interview!" You say, glancing at the time, 6:15, and noticing she was wrapping up.

"No problem! You are so much fun to be around," she laughed. "Honestly, in my opinion, which is the most important right now, you should get the job. Your personality is perfect, you like the same topics we do, we are able to hold a convo together, AND I feel like we will be friends soon!"

You blushed as she complimented and chuckled at the rest. "So I got the job?" She nodded, "Thank you so much, Suzy! I can't wait until I meet you all in person!"

You were ecstatic, and, by the looks of it, so was Suzy. "So you accept! Hooray! I'll send you the Grump Space address and you can start on Monday!"

"Thanks! Bye now!"

"Bye!"

The call ended and you jumped up and down on the couch until you were too tired to continue. Monday was 3 days from now. That'll give you plenty of time to watch some of their videos to get the gist of what you were in for.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP BEE--*

"Urrng," you grumbled, smacking the snooze button on your alarm.

You lay in your bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to wake up. After about 3 minutes, you rolled over to grab your phone. Turning the cell on, you realized what day it was, and practically jumped out of bed. You rushed to the bathroom and hopped into the shower. You began to sing some songs that popped into your head. Luckily, no one else lived with you.

After practically screaming 3 songs, you got out of the shower and started getting dressed into your favorite red sweater, as well as some high-waisted jeans and matching sneakers. You quickly checked your already-done nails for chips. Surprisingly, they still looked flawless. You still had an hour before you had to leave, so you spent a good 20 minutes perfecting your hairdo.

After you were satisfied with your hair, you sat down to do your make-up. You put on a shade of red lipstick that matched your outfit and started working on your eyebrows. When they looked fabulous, you started working on your eyes.

By the time you were done with everything, you still had 10 minutes left. You quickly spritzed some perfume on yourself and grabbed your bag. Sighing, you spoke to yourself, "Might as well get going. Better early than late!"

You grabbed your phone and lucky earbuds and walked outside into the crisp, cool morning. You smiled and went to start your car. The box full of essential items was already in the backseat, a result of being nervous and prepared last night. In the box were items such as perfume, your travel make-up bag, Pokémon figurines, your favorite book series, several potted plants, various office supplies, and a picture frame holding the old picture of you and a small boy.

~Time hops into the future are easy escapes for authors~

You pulled up to the Grump Space, as Suzy had called it, and shot a text to Suzy telling her you had arrived. You got out of your car, grabbed the box, and started towards the door. As soon as you arrived at the door, it opened, revealing the gorgeous creature that was Suzy. "Y/N! Welcome! I was worried you wouldn't show up!" She giggled, holding the door. "Come in, come in! I'll show you your desk."

Giggling at her statement, you walked inside and realized that you were the only ones here. "Uhm, Suzy? Where is everyone? Did I show up too early?"

"No no no, the guys are always late. Well, except for Arin, I make him come with me."

At the sound of his name, Arin walked out from the kitchen, carrying toast. "Oh hey Y/N! Welcome to the Grump Space! Did you eat breakfast yet?" He offered a piece of toast towards you, which you gladly accepted. He walked over to, what you assumed was, his desk. While taking a bite of your toast, Suzy lead you over to an empty desk. Your desk.

She opened your box and helped you set up your little workspace. Before she could see the picture, you quickly put it face down on your chair. When you were both satisfied with the way the desk looked, she noticed the photo frame on your chair. "Oops, I guess we missed something!"

You gasped and reached out for the picture, but you were too late. She picked it up and stared at it for a while. "Y/N, this is so adorable! Is that you? Who is this little boy? I swear I've seen him before..."

"Do you know who he is?" You asked without thinking. Realizing what you said, you immediately looked down, blushing. "I-I mean, yeah... It's an old friend and me when we were younger, living here in L.A."

"You don't remember his name?" She asked, obviously puzzled.

"No, for the life of me I can't. I remember that we met the summer before I moved to Minnesota, but that was all the way back when I was 6. I've had that photo for years now, and I still can't remember his name."

"Awe I'm sorry Y/N. I can help you try to remember, though, now that you work with me!" She looked cheery again, which made you light up again as well.

"Oh thank you, Suzy! That would be great!" She set the frame on your desk as you continued, "I'd love to meet everyone else first, though. I've been binge watching videos to get myself pumped and ready to edit, for the past few days."

"Really? So I hired a fan," she chuckled.

"A slight one," you grinned.

"Well, I guess it's less work for Barry, then."

"Yup, I even watched his tutorial on GrumpOut, so I know pretty much all I need to, already!"

"That's perfect Y/N!" She squealed and hugged you.

Just then, a tall, fluffy haired man walked in, singing. Behind him, walked in a shorter, bearded man. "Dan! Barry!" You shouted.

Dan stopped singing, and they both turned to look at you. Locking eyes with Barry, he smiled and you slightly blushed. He seemed familiar. And not because you knew him from the videos.

"You must be Y/N, the new editor!" Barry said, still holding eye contact.

"Wait, I didn't know we were getting a new grump?" Danny turned towards Suzy, quite confused.

"Dan, I told you guys all last Friday. That was the day I interviewed her, remember? I even showed you guys some of her videos!"

Quickly facing Suzy, you asked, "you showed them my videos? Is that how you knew I was, quote, perfect for the job?"

"Yup! Your videos were Barry-approved," she laughed.

You turned back to face Barry and he winked at you. "Well, welcome to the team!" They all started clapping, as Arin walked in cheering.

Then, a groggy, blue-eyed man walked in. Looking up, everyone stopped. "Did I miss something?" He questioned as everyone started laughing.

~Another timeskip to when peeps are recording and Barry is giving you a quick run-down at his desk~

"Annnnnd, that's about it! Seeing as you already knew most of that, we have some break time."

"Really? Oh, 'cause they're recording and what-not." You headed over to your desk to grab your phone.

Your desk was just off to the right of Barry's, just in case you would need any help. He turned towards your desk as you spoke up again. "Coffee run?" You suggested.

He nodded, but his eyes were locked on your desk. Following his gaze, you noticed he was looking at the photo frame. You turned your head back towards him, to find him now staring at you. "Is that you? Like, in the picture?"

You smiled, "yeah, it's me and an old friend, here in L.A., from before I moved when I was six. Before you ask, no I don't remember his name, and yes, I'm trying to find him because he was kinda my first love..."

"Y/N..." He turned back to his desk, quickly opening drawers, looking for something.

"Yes Barry?" You were a little confused while you waited until he found what he needed.

Smiling, he pulled out a small, photo from the top drawer. Before you could see it, he spoke again. "So, you're looking for your first love, too?"

You nodded, and he continued. "I met my first love back when I was six, she moved away, though, and I wasn't sure where. The day before she had to leave, we spent almost the entire day together, and her brother/sister took a picture of us. A week later, I got the picture in the mail, and I've been looking for her ever since," he noticed how confused you were and showed you an exact copy of your picture.

You gasped and jumped up. You both hadn't noticed, but as Barry was telling the story, everyone else had started listening from various spots in the room. Barry stood up and you ran to hug him. He seemed surprised at first, but quickly relaxed and spun you around. "Barry I've been looking for you for years!" You squealed.

"Y/N I can't believe I finally found you!" He responded, equally as excited.

You both stayed hugging each other until Suzy tapped your shoulder. You quickly parted and noticed everyone else in the room. Barry blushed as Suzy spoke. "Well well Y/N, I guess you really did need my help to find him," she laughed.

"Thank you Suzy, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Looking around the room, Arin and Dan smiled and winked at you, then walked back to the recording room. Ross yawned and said "congrats" before turning towards his desk, and Suzy turned to walk upstairs. "So, how about that coffee run, love?" Barry looked at you, still blushing.

You smiled, equally as red, and grabbed his hand. "I'd love to, Bear," you winked at him.

You both left the building to get ready for the first day of your finally satisfied life.
