hey bestie! carol you say huh? what about jealous, possessive Carol but like also soft? 😋
Fantastic idea bestie 😌 Enjoy a lil drabble
Carol isn’t known for being the most patient person. It’s not that she doesn’t want to be, but she just has a ‘let’s get things done’ attitude that often makes her appear very impatient. But she is usually very patient with you.
Tonight might be the exception. When you got home from work, something was different. She was quick with her answers and you wondered why she wasn’t as affectionate as she usually was when she got home from long missions.
You finish cleaning the kitchen after dinner and decide you are going to confront her about her behavior. She is sitting on the bed when you walk into the bedroom.
“Let it out,” you say. It is to the point, but you know tiptoeing around the point never gets you anywhere with your wife.
Carol sighs and sets down the book she was reading. You walk closer to her and sit on the edge of the bed at her feet.
“Are you seeing someone else?” Carol asks. The question shocks you.
“No,” you answer with complete confidence. “Absolutely not.”
“Don’t lie to me,” Carol counters.
“I would never lie to you, and I would never cheat on you. Why would you even think that?”
Carol crosses her arms. You want to reach out and open her back up to you.
“Carol, talk to me,” you try.
“I’ve been gone so much, and you’ve been home with our friends and I just- it feels like you have been preoccupied even when I’m home,” Carol explains.
“Babe, I’m sorry I’ve been busy. Truthfully, I have been working with the other Avengers a lot more because I figured throwing myself into work when you’re gone would make me miss you less.”
Carol’s arms uncross and her features soften. She believes you, thank goodness.
“The work has just lasted beyond you getting back home. I’m sorry,” you finish.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” Carol says. She opens her arms, and you hug her tightly. “I just get jealous of all the time they get to spend with you.”
“They don’t get this though,” you say, dropping a kiss on her cheek.
She pulls back from the hug enough to connect her lips with yours. Her kisses are always so passionate that your head gets dizzy. Carol’s hands move to your waist and before you know it she’s flipped you over and is hovering above you.
“You’re right,” she says, a smirk on her face. “They don’t get this.”
Carol spends the rest of the night showing you just how much she loves being the only one who gets to see you and feel you like this.
