Today was quiet, the atmosphere in the academy almost filled with a sense of unease, the air feeling a little colder than usual, the sky outside much darker than usual and the weather taking a sudden turn as the sky pours with rain. The four of you had decided to do some things of your own, still having some things mostly related to work left and excited to spend the evening in each other's embrace, Delia deciding to head to the markets to get some ingredients for dinner.
Billie Dean sitting in the living room by the fire place, in between face time calls to her agents and doing some things on social media to promote the upcoming season of her show. You had opted for doing some things around the academy in order to help out your girlfriends, especially Cordelia who has had a long week, filled with supreme duties. At first you briefly tidied her office for her, enough to make it clean and sort through some documents but not enough to invade her privacy. The supreme didn't mind, not having any secrets and trusting you enough to teach classes and help look after the girls but you still never wanted to pry. Afterwards, you took care of some things in the greenhouse, helping some of the few girls left at the academy packing their things and heading out for the weekend.
And as you close to the front door, walking through the large white hallway, you catch a glimpse of Billie, typing away on her laptop, taking some sips of the coffee you had brought her a while ago and you can't help but smile, seeing her in her element, looking as ethereal as ever in a long flower skirt and blouse and wondering how she managed to always look so stunning, even on a quiet rainy weekend. Suddenly, the thought of your redhead girlfriend crosses your mind, thinking how she seemed a little tense this week, not enough for either of you to worry but enough for you to notice. And then it kind of dawns on you that despite it now being the afternoon, you hadn't seen her today.
This morning you only caught a glimpse of her, not long enough to really even have a conversation with her and then as thunder strikes through the academy, Billie shrieking a little at the sudden noise, it dawns on you again how when you had tried to bring her some tea before, she wasn't in her office and so you had left it on her desk. With a sense of urgency, you glance at Billie, who had abandoned her phone call a while ago, deciding it was enough working for the day. ,,Billie?'' you ask, almost a little anxiously as she turns her head to look at you. At first she thinks the thunder may have upset you, quickly on her feet as her heels tap against the marble floor. ,,Are you okay babydoll?'' she asks, as soon as she reaches you, noticing your slightly pale expression.
,,Have you seen Mina today?'' you question, your voice betraying your anxiety. Billie's eyebrows furrow for a moment, thinking back but she also had no recollection of really seeing the redhead today, trying to think whether she mentioned anything about heading out today. ,,No babydoll'' she reassures, a flicker of worry now mirroring her brown orbs.
Clearing your throat, your eyes wander to the staircase, before taking a deep breath ,,I'm going to check on her'' you announce, already on your way, before Billie is quick to follow behind. ,,Let me come babydoll'' she ushers, taking your hand as the two of you climb the staircase, halting outside the redheads office door.
What neither of you three had known was that the past week had tested the usual strong woman in ways she hadn't been tested before. Her work had been unusually demanding, her bosses draining all the energy she had left to give with their usual demanding and ridiculous personalities. She felt more agitated, struggling a little to keep the perfect facade up as soon as she returned home in the evenings. All she wanted to do was hide away, to the comfort of bed or even the silence of her office. But she couldn't, Wilhemina never able to lay out her feelings in front of either of you, her past having scarred her in ways neither of her girlfriends could imagine.
Despite everything, the redhead felt like she had a job with you three, a purpose. Being the shoulder Cordelia could lean on whenever the academy and being the most powerful witch weighed heavily on her shoulders. Whenever doubts filled her about whether she was doing this justice, whether she was slowly turning into her mother. The two of them had a quiet understanding and of course Cordelia knew all too well about Wilhemina's past and sorrow. She tried hard to make her life easier in any ways she could, offering her full support, whether that was with Wilhemina's demanding job, her pains, often offering to accompany her to Doctors appointments, pick up her medication for her, anything to make her life easier.
With Billie, the redhead felt like she had the purpose to cheer the medium, knowing despite all the fun parts of her job it was never really easy, the hauntings, the ghosts, often keeping Billie up at night and Wilhemina the one awake and softly coaxing her back to sleep. Often the two of them communicating with nothing but sarcasm and bickering but it was their love language, it always had been, Billie knowing it triggered the redhead a little but at the same time coaxed her out of her stoic shell at times. And Billie wasn't great with words sometimes and so the only thing she could do for the redhead was coax her in her attention and love. Mostly showering her in gifts that Wilhemina would find randomly almost weekly in her office. One time it was a small lilac Chanel purse that Wilhemina had taken to work ever since. Another time a lavender candle that the redhead kept lit in her office and just this week a bouquet of lilac flowers, that Wilhemina had kept on her night table, a reminder that she could get through this week as Billie had, in silence, noticed that this week was a little harsher on her girlfriend.
And at last there was you, her little one. Since meeting you and you joining their relationship, Wilhemina felt an odd amount of protectiveness over you. She felt the same towards Cordelia and Billie, especially considering the dangers their jobs and lives brought. But you were different for some reason, Wilhemina seeing a small part of her younger self in you, wanting to protect you from life's pain and burdens. She was always by your side, a set of brown eyes always lingering whenever you are nearby, making sure Madison wasn't teasing you too much, making sure your students respected you, as she sometimes made an appearance at your classes, observing quietly from a distance. Wilhemina made sure whenever you were in pain, may it be a simple headache or a specifically painful period, that you would confide in her. You didn't know but deep down she never wanted you to be like her, not able to ask for help. And so she showered you in love, nothing too much for her, often making it a habit to make some time with just you, sometimes reading to you, even teaching you to knit a while ago. And in return you gave her your everything, there was something special about your love with all of them but Mina was different.
You had never loved anyone so deeply, as no one ever made you feel quite that safe. And you knew all too well about her stubbornness, her refusal of asking for help and so you tried to do it in silence. Every morning, she would find a packed lunchbox on the kitchen table, along with the daily newspaper, the kettle and some tea already prepared for her. When she returned from work, she would find a nice warm bath waiting for her, her office always tidy and her medication draw always stocked up. And despite her hating it secretly, she accepted it from you, knowing you meant well, you never pried, never asked too much or the wrong questions and she adored you for it. But despite it all, she couldn't confide in either of you this week, how her back had hurt so much more than usual, how she couldn't walk at times, how her legs, arms and hands and every single bone in her body hurt so much that sometimes it brought tears to her eyes. How she had considered to take double her usual dosage as it all felt a little unbearable.
And so, the only thing she could do today, was sit in her office, not to do any work, giving you all that excuse to be left alone but simply to deal with her pain. Deal with this week, knowing if she wasn't going to get this quiet time she would lash out, letting all the anger and frustration out on either of you, like she had done many times in the past, her eyes always pleading for forgiveness after but she didn't want to do this today. Not after all the kindness you all had showed her and continue to show her. And then her thoughts are interrupted by a knock, a very quiet one and she knew it was you by the way it was so faint and quiet, knowing you had no intention of disturbing her. But she also knew it was Billie, hearing the sound of heels ascend the stairs moments before and she sighs, knowing she couldn't stay in here forever as the evening approached and she had every intention of spending it with you three, having missed you this week.
,,Come in'' she announces and you breathe out in relief, as you gently open the door, exposing her sitting in her armchair, her expression neutral despite the pain. As you glance around her office, you notice how it all looked the same, the tea cup in the same spot you had left it in, her computer and work pile not being touched either and it makes you wonder what she had done all day. Billie approaches, lacking your gentleness, walking over to the redhead and pressing a kiss to her cheeks. ,,We wanted to check on you Venable, haven't seen you all day'' the medium announces and you can't help but notice the way she winced when Billie gently placed her hand on her shoulders and kissed her cheeks. ,,Is everything okay Mina?'' you ask, anxiously, knowing she was unusually quiet today. ,,Fine, little one'' she replies, forcing her best smile and watching Billie as she strolls through her office almost noisily and Wilhemina watching carefully.
,,So what have you been up to?'' Billie asks, almost absent-mindedly as she lights a cigarette and continues strolling through her office and by your girlfriends reaction you knew she was about to snap. Wilhemina didn't condone the habit and she wouldn't usually say anything about Billie smoking near her or in her room but you also knew whenever she was agitated, she would scold her and tell her off for just that habit. ,,Really Howard?'' Wilhemina questions, her eyebrow perched up and her voice mirroring her annoyance. Billie simply shrugs, while you continue to observe carefully. And then with a swift motion and almost too quickly, Wilhemina gets up, reaching for her cane, her steps echoing through the room as she walks towards you, noticing your worried expression. ,,I'm going to make some tea, would you like some little one?'' she asks and you simply nod, unsure how to interject.
Billie and you follow behind as the redhead walks down the stairs, almost a little slower than usual and you can't help but notice the way her right foot was limping a bit, ever so slightly but that wasn't usually there. And as your eyes meet the mediums, the same expression is on her face but you remain silent, knowing you couldn't bring this up now. Billie observes quietly as she stands by the doorframe of the kitchen, taking turns between scrolling on her phone and lighting another cigarette. You stand almost frozen as you watch the redhead walk up to the kettle, struggling as her shaky hands fill it up with water. And then comes the first challenge as you had clumsily put the tea back on one of the top shelves, needing a little stool before as one of the girls had put it there you assume. And you scold yourself internally, usually being so mindful of the redhead around the academy and wanting to make everything accessible for her.
,,Mina let me help'' you usher, walking over to her but she glares at you then, her features filled with anger, hating to be treated like a child as you never would have offered the same with Billie or Cordelia. And you halt in your steps, Billie watching the scene unfold quietly as your heart breaks in front of you. But you can't help it, knowing by now she was upset but wanting to help, wanting to make things easier, not wanting her to hurt by reaching for the tea herself.
,,Mina, I'm sorry I must have put it up there by accident earlier, let me get it'' you try again but her stubbornness takes over as she glares at you again, abandoning her cane on the kitchen counter and stepping onto the little stool ,,I am more than capable-'' she begins but she doesn't get to finish as fate decides to have a turn. And then just as the front door opens, Cordelia returning with some shopping bags and a smile on her face, excited to see her girlfriends, Wilhemina slips, her heels scraping against the stool as she loses her balance, her hand pathetically trying to hold onto something but there was nothing to hold onto. And despite Billie dropping her cigarette, Cordelia trying to move quickly and you leaving your frozen state and lunging forward she slips, falling backwards, the thud that follows sending waves of pain through your heart and her back.
There is a split moment of silence, the room frozen as the seconds tick by, Wilhemina on the floor, Cordelia almost by the kitchen now, Billie and you watching in shock. And you all heard it, that crack and as you all snap awake, you see her ankle and the way you could only imagine what just happened and how much that must hurt. ,,Mina'' you call out, ever so quietly as you finally find the ability to breathe and walk again, quick by her side as you kneel in front of her. Her eyes are closed, not from unconsciousness but pain and the medium and supreme are quick by her side as well, Cordelia dropping the shopping bags and Billie quickly abandoning her cigarette in the sink.
,,Honey?'' Cordelia tries, gently taking her swollen and red ankle into her hands but she flinches at her touch then. Opening her eyes, you see a fire in them, anger but also tears but she definitely knows how to fight those back. ,,I'm fine'' she is quick to compose herself and sit up, ignoring the waves of pain crashing over her body. ,,Darling, let us help'' Billie tries, feeling awful that she simply stood and watched this unfold. And as Wilhemina scans her surroundings, trying to find wherever she had abandoned her cane, Cordelia tries again ,,Honey, your ankle looks hurt, let me check'' she fusses but for good reason. However she is having none of it ,,Leave it'' she scolds almost hissing, her voice filled with venom. And you can tell, you can tell she didn't want this, didn't want to be fussed, didn't want any help, all she wanted was to get up and her cane. And so you stand up, quickly reaching for her cane and handing it to her. And as her eyes meet yours, they mirror some gratefulness, the anger slowly subsiding.
And so she takes her cane into her hand, the stubbornness winning over as she simply gets back up, as if she didn't just break her ankle, as if this wasn't the second time she had fallen this week, despite remaining quiet about it. As if she hadn't hurt her ankle this week already at work but putting on a brave face. As if everything within her just wanted to cry and let the pain win over. But that side always won and so the three of you back away a little, Cordelia's hand lingering behind the redhead to at least be able to help if she lost her balance again, Billie taking some steps away, giving Wilhemina space. And then she stands there again, composed, as if nothing happened, taking a deep breath, before leaving, definitely wanting to be alone now. You watch in pain as she exits the kitchen, even slower than usual walking away, leaving the three of you behind in pain, as the sound of the kettle startles you, a painful reminder that this was all your fault due to your foolishness of leaving the tea on the top shelf.
,,Mina-'' you try one more time, tears lingering in your eyes but she doesn't pay you any attention, simply walking up the stairs, carrying the whole world of pain on her tired shoulders. Billie is quick to leave, abandoning all of this to cool off, to have a cigarette outside, wanting to be alone and deal with this herself. And so it leaves you and Cordelia, the supreme watching in pain as the redhead finally makes it up the stairs and back to her office, you a shivering mess in front of her. ,,Sweetheart'' she tries, moving closer to you and placing her hand on your shoulder to get you to turn around. And when you do, your face filled with tears, she takes you into her arms as you sob quietly into her chest, her holding you, despite not having the full picture on what had happened.
Cordelia is quick to turn the kettle off, to rid you of the painful sound and reminder on what happened, before sitting you down at the table, kneeling in front of you. And for the first time today, you really see your girlfriend, taking in her features as she looks ethereal as ever, wearing a black slightly see-through flower patterned blouse, her usual black long flowy pants and some heels. Her features are filled with concern and worry before she speaks softly ,,Darling, what happened?'' she asks quietly, placing her hands on your knees, rubbing little circles on them to comfort you. Her eyes reassuring you it was okay and she was going to fix it but that she needed all the details.
,,I- I'' you struggle to find your words, focusing in order to make your tears and pathetic breathing stop and return to normal. ,,I didn't see Mina a lot today and me and Billie checked on her'' you begin, the supreme listening intently. ,,And I think she got a little annoyed with us'' you admit, thinking back to the conversation in Wilhemina's office. ,,She came down to make some tea'' you explain further before your gaze averts her, catching a glimpse of Billie returning and heading to the hallway, to collect the dropped bags from Cordelia. ,,It was my fault'' you admit, meeting her brown eyes before her eyebrows furrow. ,,I- I made her some tea around lunch time and I must have placed it on the shelf- I'm sorry'' you cry but Delia is quick to shush you. ,,Hey sweetie, it's okay'' she coos, pulling you forward and back into her safe arms. ,,You couldn't have known darling, this isn't on you'' she reassures.
And then Billie startles you, despite not meaning to as she places the bags neatly on the table, wanting to desperately help out as she is feeling utterly useless in this whole situation. ,,I think'' Billie begins as she clears her throat, catching yours and Cordelia's attention. ,,I think there is something off'' she announces, nervously unpacking the groceries. ,,She seemed off this week and-'' she stops herself then before looking to you. ,,I can't be the only one who noticed the limping earlier, babydoll?'' she questions only to be met with your agreement. ,,When she walked downstairs she was limping on that ankle already'' you confess to Cordelia, hoping the supreme could fix this, could help your Mina. And again, the supreme listens intently, slowly understanding by getting the full picture.
Silence fills the kitchen as the blonde tries to weigh her options, knowing how stern Wilhemina was and knowing there wasn't really a right way to approach this. ,,I'll try and talk to her'' she announces after a little while and you and Billie simply nod gratefully. Before the supreme gets ready to leave, you stop her. ,,Wait'' you call out, quickly walking over to the counter and finishing what Mina had tried to do in the first place. ,,Can you take this up?'' you ask, your eyes pleading with her as you hand her a cup of tea. She smiles then, before taking it and pressing a kiss to your forehead, adoring your kindness. And when Cordelia walks upstairs, Billie comes up from behind, wrapping her arms around you protectively. ,,How about we get a head start on that dinner?'' she murmurs and you simply nod, wanting to help out both Cordelia and Mina, hoping the supreme could calm her enough to join you for dinner.
And while the two of you begin, Cordelia finds herself knocking on the redheads office, waiting for a reply but knowing there wasn't going to be any. And so she enters, pushing aside the voice in her head telling her not to but refusing to let her girlfriend struggle in silence. ,,Mina darling?'' she tries as she enters. She finds her office empty, but hearing a faint noise from the bathroom and so she closes the door, abandoning the tea cup on her desk, finding another cup there, assuming it was the one you had taken up to her hours before, despite it being left untouched. The door to the bathroom is closed and so she knocks again, this time a little more urgently ,,Darling?'' she tries, her voice betraying her concern and anxiety. And Wilhemina stands by the mirror, tears lingering in her eyes as she holds onto a bottle of her pain medication, the pain of her ankle almost killing her but the guilt weighing more heavily on her as she didn't mean for her stubbornness to win over again.
She ignores the supreme, her pleas to open the door, as she contemplates what to do, whether to finally just open up and let those walls tumble down. But the voice has the upper hand again, causing for her to simply extract two more pills, quickly swallowing them, before composing herself and opening the door, again as if nothing had happened. ,,Are you okay?'' Cordelia whispers, her eyebrows furrowed and the redhead simply nods, brushing past her and taking a seat on her armchair again, Cordelia of course noticing the limping and trying hard to contain her emotions. And so the supreme stands there, unsure what to do or say. ,,Here'' she softly tries, walking over to her desk and handing her the cup of tea, hoping it could at least coax her out a little. Wilhemina takes it almost hesitantly, abandoning it again on the little table next to her, wanting nothing more than to be left alone.
,,You need to let me take a look darling'' she announces, her voice sounding a little firm, glancing at Wilhemina's red and swollen ankle. And as Cordelia kneels down in front of her, the redhead watches carefully but there was always something about the blonde that made her falter even a little bit. And so as Cordelia inspects it carefully, hovering her hands above it while she closes her eyes, Wilhemina simply watches in silence, ignoring the voice for once. And as Cordelia looks up, noticing how the red and swelling didn't go, how the pain was still there in her girlfriends eyes, she knows this was more severe than her magic could fix. ,,Honey, I'm afraid it may be broken, otherwise my magic could have fixed it'' she announces and Wilhemina simply scoffs then. ,,Darling, I need you to see a doctor'' she tries, again firmly but her eyes still portraying the usual gentleness. ,,I will do no such thing' she scoffs again, averting her gaze.
,,Mina darling'' Cordelia tries again but the redhead is having none of it. ,,I'll be fine Cordelia, just stop worrying'' she hisses but then something snaps within the supreme, not being able to take her stubbornness for a second longer, especially if her wellbeing was at risk. ,,No you aren't fine Wilhemina'' the blonde blurts out, her eyes meeting hers. ,,You are hurting and we can all see it and you have been hurting all week'' she exclaims. And then Wilhemina's eyes meet hers, locking with her girlfriends, maybe the slight sternness from her girlfriend, finally causing some walls to break down.
,,What happened this week?'' Cordelia asks, noticing the redheads confusion ,,The first time this happened?'' she questions and Wilhemina almost cries then, unsure how exactly the supreme had figured it out but all the pain finally faltering. And in response, Wilhemina lets the tears flow, a very rare occasion, tears of pain, physical pain from her back, ankle and her tired bones. Heartache from treating you three like this before and having to remain so stoic and stubborn all the time. And Cordelia doesn't push for answers, simply letting her fall apart in front of her, not saying anything as she knows words are too much, simply placing a comforting warm hand on her girlfriends knees as she continues to kneel in front of her.
Meanwhile Billie and you had finished cooking and as the food simmers, you watch as the blonde paces a little, sighing in frustration. ,,Billie?'' you question gently, noticing how her mood suddenly changed a little and how agitated she seems. ,,I'm sure she broke her ankle'' the medium sighs, fiddling nervously with her nails. You can't help but equally sigh, frustrated with how this day turned out and not able to feel anything but guilt. Silence fills the room as you think about it for a moment, only now realising that if this was true, neither you or Cordelia could fix this for your girlfriend as your magic didn't allow and work that way. ,,I really think we should get her to see a doctor'' you sigh, propping yourself up on the kitchen counter as your legs dangle away. ,,She won't go to see one'' Billie huffs, taking a safe distance away from the food and lighting a cigarette in frustration. And then suddenly, an idea pops into your head and Billie can tell by the way you bite your lip, how you always did that, almost biting the words away.
,,What is it babydoll?'' Billie questions, a cloud of smoke surrounding her ,,You know that friend of yours you have mentioned? the one that does visits?'' you ask, remembering how Billie knew all sorts of celebrities and always talked about this specific one, knowing Wilhemina hated hospitals and doctors and she wouldn't go to a place she didn't know, her usual doctors not being an option considering it being the weekend and evening now. And as the revelation registers in the mediums brain, she is quick to abandon her cigarette, reach for her phone and walk into the hallway, pacing in circles as she usually did whenever she was on the phone. And as you listen carefully, not to pry, but to get Mina the help she needed as quick as possible, you hear Billie set all the details. ,,Thank you'' you exclaim with a soft and grateful smile. The medium returns your gentleness with brushing her nails across your cheeks, before kissing your forehead. ,,Thank you babydoll, for being so smart and always listening to me ramble'' she jokes almost, before you watch her ascend the stairs.
And you follow behind, not wanting to disturb either of them but to simply listen and be of assistance if anyone needed anything. And so, Billie Dean walks into Wilhemina's office, not knocking, not really caring, thankfully the supreme having wiped the redheads tears by now. ,,Alright, I don't care what either of you say but-'' Billie begins, pointing her fingers at both of them, earning a small smirk from Cordelia at her antics and even Wilhemina smirks at least internally at her dramatic entrance. ,,I have called one of my close friends, she's a doctor and will be here to do a house call in about 20 minutes''. As she finishes her sentence, Cordelia's face grows a little pale, anxious as she wasn't sure whether she had already gotten Wilhemina to the point where she would be willing to accept help. And as the redhead glances around the room, she notices the anxiousness in both Cordelia and Billie's faces, awaiting her response and as she for the first time notices your presence, as you almost hide behind Billie still feeling guilty and overall horrible that she was suffering so much, she falters, still composed and graceful as ever of course.
,,Alright, thank you Billie'' she announces, both blonde heads snapping in her direction as neither of them expected it. ,,You're welcome and I promise she's great'' Billie assures, giving the redhead a gentle and warm smile. ,,I'm going to go and check on dinner, maybe we can all eat together after she's finished with you Venable?'' Billie jokes, trying to lighten the mood a little and despite everything earning a low chuckle from the redhead and a nod in agreement. ,,Would you like me to stay with you honey?'' Cordelia offers with a smile but as you follow behind Billie, she clears her throat ,,Actually- little one?'' she asks, instantly causing you to turn around and look at her. ,,Would you mind keeping me company?'' she offers, patting the seat next to her. As you glance at Cordelia, she smiles, giving Wilhemina a proud gaze as she leaves you both to it.
,,Come here little one'' she offers, patting her lap as her brown eyes search yours, but you don't feel comfortable considering the pain she must be in and so all you do is take a seat beside her, playing with your rings as a nervous habit. The room fills with silence as Wilhemina watches you intently, trying to think of something to say to get her little one to smile again. ,,I'm so sorry Mina'' you suddenly blurt out, taking you both by surprise. ,,I- I guess someone placed the tea there and when I made you some tea I must have put it back up there'' you cry, tears flowing freely from your eyes as you squeeze them shut. ,,I'm sorry that you are hurting Mina, it's all my fault''. And as she hears your words and takes in your sobbing form, she can't help but fight her own back, how you could ever blame yourself for this, considering this was all due to her own stubbornness and refusing to let you help her. ,,Little one'' she tries, the back of her hand brushing over your cheeks to wipe your tears. ,,None of this is your fault, you have been so kind and gentle and well I- I have just been me'' she admits and this causes you to look at her, your eyes locking with her brown ones.
The two of you are quickly interrupted when Billie knocks on the door, exposing one of her famous doctor friends, who enters with some supplies and two bags. ,,I'll leave you to it'' Billie announces softly, glancing at you and Wilhemina before giving you some space. As the older woman introduces herself to Wilhemina, you retreat from the chair, wanting to give them both some room and the doctor some space to do her examination and as Wilhemina glances at you, you see something in her eyes that you don't usually see, fear and the silent plea for you to stay close. And so you opt to stand behind where she is sitting, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder, not enough to hurt her but enough so she can feel you are there. The examination is over quickly, the doctor actually a little unsure whether the bone is broken or just fractured. ,,I recommend you to get an X-ray done tomorrow, I would gladly set up an appointment with Ms Howard for you'' she explains as she wraps up her things. ,,But I urge you to rest and maybe you can make sure she puts some ice on it and uses these creams'' the woman explains now addressing you directly and handing you some supplies. ,,Of course, thank you very much'' you thank her as you watch her wrap up her things and leave.
Cordelia and Billie wait anxiously downstairs until the doctor returns, having set the table for the four of you, hoping after the examination, a sense of normality would follow. ,,And?'' Billie Dean asks nervously as she fiddles with her nails yet again. ,,I can't confirm whether it's broken, I will need to do that at my practice but I'm happy to set up an appointment with you, for now I suggest rest and the medication that I have left with them both'' she confirms and Billie sighs in relief a little, unsure what exactly she was expecting but glad it doesn't seem too serious after all yet. ,,Thank you so much doctor'' Cordelia thanks her with a warm smile before Billie exclaims ,,Rest will be hard with her'' and she is met with a smile and nod from the supreme. ,,She seems tough'' Billie's friend exclaims as she gets ready to leave, Billie guiding her to the door ,,Oh yeah, she's a feisty one'' Billie chuckles before saying her goodbyes.
Meanwhile you kneel in front of your girlfriend gently, glancing around the room a little anxiously before asking ,,Mina?'' and she is quick to hum as a reply, meeting your eyes. ,,May I help you please?'' you ask, your voice filled with gentleness, not an ounce of judging or wanting to coddle her. And so she simply nods, meeting your eyes, a little unsure how to actually accept help when given. ,,Would you like if we get you in some more comfortable clothes?'' you ask and after thinking about it, she nods and you are quick to leave her for a moment to get the necessary things. In a heartbeat you return as you help her gently into some new clothes, with her consent putting some of the cream on her swollen ankle, promising to get her some ice as well. ,,Do you need any more pain medication?'' you ask carefully but she shakes her head, remembering she already had the highest doses today.
,,Would you like to eat downstairs? I could easily take something up here for you'' you try but she shakes her head, already reaching for her cane as she carefully balances on it. And as she walks towards you, a little slower than usual, you smile, grateful and proud that for once your stoic Mina accepted help, despite all the circumstances leading to this. ,,Little one?'' she asks as she holds out her free hand to you. ,,Thank you'' is the words that follow after and it almost brings tears to your eyes then, watching her soften up. And so as you and Wilhemina moments later, walk down the stairs together, Billie and Cordelia watch with expressions filled with love and proudness. And as the four of you finally enjoy each other's company for the night, Cordelia insisting on Wilhemina putting up her leg on a nearby chair and you fetching an ice pack for her, Billie gushing about her doctor friend a little and praising herself mostly, it all comes full circle.
And despite the pain and the unknown of whether your girlfriend in fact really broke her angle, the anxiety of having to get the checks done, waiting for the result and the painful weeks to follow, tonight is another reminder that maybe Wilhemina didn't need to keep her walls so high all the time, at least not with you three. Maybe she could allow Cordelia's hovering at times, Billie's suggestions that sometimes sounded awful but ended up being good in the end and maybe even your kind and gentleness towards her. And as the evening wears on slowly, the mood outside of the safe walls of the academy lightens as well as a bright sunset filled with red and oranges fills the sky, illuminating the kitchen, almost matching Wilhemina's mood as of right now, everything felt right, being with each other.

Not Jealous (Cordelia Goode x f!Reader)
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Clearly Cordelia does not feel the same way you feel about her.
Words: 2.5k
Warnings: jealousy, assumptions of unrequited love
You knew there was no reason to be jealous. Of course not. Cordelia wasn’t yours. It didn’t matter how you felt about her. There was no point denying your feelings for the Supreme, but that wasn’t the same as having them reciprocated. So you had no right to feel the churning of jealousy in your gut.
Until…
You looked up from the book you were reading, zeroing in on the two woman standing just outside the door. Cordelia’s hand was resting on Misty’s arm, leaning towards her as they talked softly. Your fingers clenched on your book. Taking a deep breath in, you paused, counting to ten in your head before letting it go again.
There was no reason to be jealous.
Misty said something, too quiet for you to hear. Cordelia tipped her head back, her laughter ringing through the room. You stilled, watching her, your eyes slipping over her body, taking in the long column of her neck, the shine of her hair, the curve of her lips. That was your laugh, the one you received when you amused her.
You inhaled sharply, closing your book and slipping out of the room. You couldn’t watch anymore. You couldn’t
There was no reason to be jealous.
Yeah right. Ever since Misty had come back it was like you had to fight for Cordelia’s attention. She’d stopped noticing you. Where once she sought your company, you’d been replaced. She didn’t have time for you. The shared smiles had stop, transferred to another. She’d stopped having time for you, all taken up by the returning witch. You noticed all the ways you were being pushed out, replaced without so much as a word.
What you didn’t notice was the way her eyes followed you out of the room.
You found a quiet spot in the garden to curl up with your book, doing your best to slip back into the words. It was hard, the image of the woman you’d stupidly fallen for as she fell for another kept playing on repeat in your head.
Every touch, every smile, every glance. You’d seen it over and over again. She was slipping further from you with every breath, every brush of fingers over arms, every cupped cheek. The distance was growing and you didn’t know how to stop it. You didn’t even know if it was worth trying.
Clouds were gathering overhead, blotting out the sun. You shivered as the air turned chilly, curling up further on the bench you were sitting on. You tipped your head back, leaving the pretence of reading behind. Closing your eyes, you basked in the memory of how it had been.
You missed the touch of her skin against yours, the way her eyes sparkled whenever you spoke to her, the soft laugh in the middle of the night when she caught you still up reading. You wanted her soft sigh as she directed you to bed, a hand on the small of your back, making sure you climbed into bed and turned the light off. You missed the way she’d pass you a cup of tea in the morning, knowing glint in her eye, fingers brushing against the back of your hand.
A cold drop of rain landed on your forehead. You sighed, picking up your book as another drop fell. You tipped your head back for one last moment, letting the water fall over you, sprinkling on your skin. Shivering, you took a deep breath in, trying to let the rain wash away the jealousy and the pain and the hurt.
It didn’t work.
Wandering back into the house, you didn’t care at the way the rain began to fall harder, only aiming to shield the book. You shivered, uncaring of the puddle of water you were tracking inside. You left the book on the table, stroking over the still dry cover, before leaving it behind. You trailed water through the house as you trudged up to your room.
Sitting in the bath with your arms curled around your knees, you watched the steam curl in the air. On a long exhalation you shaped it into hearts before they broke apart in a shattered kaleidoscope of painful shards. You don’t know how long you sat there, trying to warm the chill that had settled deep in your bones. Maybe you needed something more than a hot bath.
On bare feet, you padded into your room only to freeze as the door closed behind you.
“There you are,” Cordelia said, her voice soft enough to make you groan.
You didn’t know what to say. It had been a while since you’d seen her there, in your room, looking as if she belonged. You pressed your lips together, backing up until your spine was pressed against the door. In nothing but your robe, you felt exposed, vulnerable, like you’d left your armour behind.
“I was worried you’d melted in the rain,” she said, giving you a half small.
“No,” you said, “just having a bath.”
“You were drenched out there,” She took a step towards you, her hands clasped in front of her body, “you left something behind.”
Your book, the one you’d left in the kitchen as you’d rushed upstairs, was clutched in her hand. You opened your mouth to say something, then closed it again. The thought of her noticing you enough to know you’d been out in the rain sent an ache through your chest. She took another step towards you, holding the book out to you. You shook your head, pressing harder against the door.
“What’s wrong?” She seemed to wilt under your gaze.
“Nothing,” you said, voice so small you were surprised it still existed, “thank you for returning the book but I think I’m done with it.”
“You’ve read it?” she asked.
You shook your head. A love story wasn’t really what you were looking for. If you really wanted that you just had to watch Cordelia with Misty. Which only made you want to throw up.
“Darling, talk to me,” she said, taking one more step towards you.
“I’m just tired,” you said, not able to meet her eyes, “maybe you should go.”
Fingers tilted your chin up and you had to hold back tears. The touch of her skin against yours was what you’d been yearning for, wishing for, praying for. You tried to pull back but she held on, her grip tightening to keep you from moving away. You wanted it but not like this.
“If you really want me to go, I will,” she said, “but I’d rather stay and talk to you.”
“I’m sure you have other people you can talk to.” You hadn’t meant to sound so bitter about it.
Something in her face shifted. You held your breath, not wanting her to see the real reason, the embarrassment of it more than you’d be able to handle. She let you go, turning to walk to the bed, placing the book down on the bedside table. You could feel yourself trembling, still pressed against the door.
“You’ve been distant lately,” she said, fingertips running over your comforter.
“I…” You didn’t have a proper answer for her.
“I’m beginning to wonder if I’ve done something wrong. If I have I wish you’d tell me. I don’t like the thought of upsetting you,” she said. The way she looked at you with barely contained regret was not an expression you ever wanted to see on her face.
“You haven’t,” you said.
“Then why have you been avoiding me?”
That wide eyed stare swimming in sadness was not one that made you feel any better. Your heart clenched and you would have done anything to make her feel better.
But the accusation was ridiculous. You hadn’t been avoiding her. She’d been spending all her time with Misty, choosing someone else’s presence over yours. You’d thought… Well, what you’d thought wasn’t important anymore.
“I haven’t,” you said, “you’ve just been busy.”
“I’m never too busy for you,” she said, voice so soft it could break you in half.
You scoffed, rolling your eyes. Just because she believed it didn’t mean it was true. Hands cupped your cheeks, forcing you to look at her and all those old feelings came swooping back in. Your heart skipped a beat and it didn’t matter that resentment had been building in your chest for weeks now. You’d always fall at her feet, even if she didn’t love you the way you loved her.
“Please. I’ve missed you,” she said.
You bit down on your lower lip, trying to keep all of the ugly thoughts inside. Her eyes flicked down to it, a thumb gently pulling it free. Your breath stuttered and you had no idea how to function with her so close, touching you in ways you could only dream of.
“Darling…” she breathed.
“I know how you feel about Misty,” you blurted out before it could go any further than it already had.
She blinked, drawing back far enough for you to be able to breath properly again. Her hands were still on your face but the look she was giving you was baffled, as if your words hadn’t made sense.
“What?” she asked.
“I know you’re in love with her,” you said, “so you probably shouldn’t be touching me like this.”
“You think I’m in love with Misty? Our Misty?” She sounded so confused.
“I don’t think. I know you are. I’ve seen you with her and I’m not an idiot. It’s obvious,” you said, wondering if you should be pushing her away as she wasn’t moving on her own.
“I’m not in love with Misty,” she said with a small shake of her head.
“You don’t have to lie to me just to spare my feelings,” you said, “seriously, it’s fine.”
“And while that’s good to know, it’s not a lie. She’s not who I’m in love with,” she said.
Your mouth slammed shut as words failed you. She moved forward again, her palms practically burning the skin of your face. You didn’t know what to do, frozen beneath her hands and her gaze, heart thundering loud in your ears.
“Darling?” she prompted.
“So you are in love with someone?” you asked.
You didn’t know whether to feel sick or hopeful. Maybe sick from being so hopeful.
“I am,” she confirmed, “but it’s not Misty.”
“Who is it?” Your voice didn’t feel your own.
“I thought it was obvious,” she said.
“It’s not,” you replied, shaking your head.
“It’s you, my darling girl,” she said, “you’re the one I’m in love with.”
You didn’t have words. She was smiling at you, the soft one that always made your stomach somersault and your heart flutter. You swallowed past a lump in your throat, not quite able to believe the words she was saying. All your hopes hung on her and it scared you.
“I am?” you asked.
“Of course you are.” Her fingers pushed your hair behind your ear, lingering on your jaw, “you’re the one I want.”
You were hesitant as you brought your hands to her waist. She was so warm under your skin, so soft. Her head dipped, breath ghosting over your lips.
“I want you,” she murmured, lips brushing yours, “only you.”
You kissed her, surging up, pressing yourself to her. You couldn’t stop yourself, needing her with every fibre of your being. She pushed you against the door, pinning you to it, her tongue slipping into your mouth. The taste of her had you moaning, head turning fuzzy.
Her fingers pushed into your hair, tilting your head up as she kissed you deeper. You whimpered, arms curling around her body, holding her against you. She mumbled your name into your mouth, slowing the kiss down, taking her time to explore. You melted under her touch.
“My sweet girl,” she murmured, “my darling girl.”
Her nose brushed against yours, skimming the length of your jaw, lips ghosting over your skin. You were practically vibrating under her, strung so tight, wanting every part of her.
“I’m hoping this means you return my feelings,” she said.
“Yes,” you gasped, “yes, so much. Oh god, so much, Delia.”
“That’s a relief,” she chuckled, drawing back far enough to be able to look at you. Her thumb traced over your bottom lip, smile deepening when you pressed a kiss to it, “so there’s no reason to be jealous.”
“I wasn’t jealous,” you muttered.
“Darling.” She threaded her fingers through yours, tugging you away from the door, “you left every room both Misty and I were in. You sat as far away from me as you could. You stopped showing up for our late night tea.”
“I thought you had someone else you’d prefer to be with,” you said.
“You were jealous,” she said.
“I… was jealous,” you admitted.
Her hands cupped your cheeks, pulling you in for another kiss, shorter than you would have liked. You whined when she drew back, her chuckle making your cheeks heat.
“You have nothing to be jealous of,” she told you.
“It just looked like… I mean you were always with her,” you tried to explain, “and you touched her like you touch me. You didn’t have time for me anymore.”
“I’m sorry for making you feel that way, darling,” she said, pulling you closer until she could wrap you in her arms, “I always have time for you. It was never my intention to make you feel like I didn’t.”
“Are you saying you’ll make it up to me?” you asked, muffled against her shoulder.
“And what might you want, my darling girl?” You could hear the amusement in her voice.
Your lips found her neck and her breathy laugh had heat curling in your stomach. She was gentle as she pushed you back, a flush high on her cheeks and bright eyes looking down on you. You pouted but with her hands on your shoulders she kept you back.
“There’ll be plenty of time for that,” she said, “but dinner will be soon and I’d rather not be interrupted.”
“But-“
She placed her finger over your lips, silencing you more effectively than you could have thought possible. Her smile softened and she stepped closer again, encasing you in a cocoon of her warmth and the scent of her perfume.
“Later, darling. You get dressed. I’ll see you downstairs,” she said.
You nodded. She let you go, stepping around you. She turned at your door, hand on the handle, eyes scanning over you again. You looked back at her, warmth flooding through your veins.
“Oh, and I love you,” she said.
“I love you too,” you whispered.
She gave you a radiant smile and slipped from your room, leaving you alone once again. You stared at the door for a moment, not able to believe your luck.
As it turned out, there really was no reason to be jealous.

"How much longer, 'Delia?" You asked, sneaking your arms around the blonde's slim waist. "I'm growing cold up there without my favorite supreme wrapped in my arms." Your lips couldn't help but fall into a pout as you rested your chin on her shoulder.
"I'm the only supreme, darling." She giggled, keeping her focus on the two glasses in front of her as she dumped a maroon colored liquid just below the rims. "And I'm just finishing up. I think I've finally perfected it!" She bit her plump bottom lip, turning her head to face you with excitement.
"Finally," you gave the blonde a quick kiss. "I really hope this works this time. I can't wait to see which one of us gives in first." You smirked against her lips.
"We haven't even drank it yet and you're already kissing me, darling. It's going to be you. You're very needy."
You protrude your bottom lip in a faux pout that only elicited a wider smile from the blonde and another quick peck to your lips in a reassuring kiss.
"God, I love when you make that face. It's absolutely adorable."
You playfully rolled your eyes at her words and tugged at her shirt to bring her to the plush blanket sprawled out and decorated with a few scattered pillows that sat just a few feet away from the lit fireplace.
Cordelia was well coordinated, and didn't spill a single drop of her newest concoction at your eagerness to bring her back towards the warmth.
You were first to plop down, Cordelia offering your drink to you before she sat down beside you, shoulders just barely touching yours.
"Nuh uh, not so fast, darling." Cordelia stopped your glass from tipping any further when you were too caught up in excitement over your drink. "We have to drink it at the exact same time."
You had nearly forgotten about the specifics, her concoctions always had to be done the way she said so, and it wasn't your place to question the witch when she gave you an order.
Cordelia admired your excitement. It always put a smile on her face that you were always so keen on trying new things, especially if it was something she made specifically for you.
"I really hope this works," Cordelia said quietly.
"It will. I just know it." You reassured her.
The witch then cleared her throat and held her glass towards you, and you were sure to clink your glass against hers in unison before both of you took your first sips from the dark substance.
You let out a sound of approval as the liquid hit your tastebuds. A sweet mix of apple, cinnamon, and a dash of alcohol entered your system. It tasted warm and inviting, the drink instantly putting you at ease...or so you thought.
Your gaze flicked over to the woman next to you who was still focused on her drink. Too focused to notice the way your eyes darkened when her tongue slowly swiped along the sugar coated rim on her glass.
You could feel your cheeks grow warm, and it wasn't just from the fireplace. It felt like you were heating up from the inside out. Your thoughts were in the gutter as a familiar ache grew between your legs.
You tried to play it off by nonchalantly repositioning yourself and squeezing your thighs together, the action not going unnoticed by the blonde.
Cordelia smirked and gulped down the rest of her drink, purposely tipping her glass far too much to let a few stray droplets of liquid fall from the corner of her mouth and land upon the upper swell of her breast.
The witch nonchalantly swiped her thumb along the droplet before sucking the liquid from her finger, purposely eliciting a low moan to play with you.
"How are you feeling, baby? You're looking a little...flushed." Her curved lashes fluttered as her dilated gaze moved from your face down to your bare thighs that were heavily pressed together.
"It's just a bit hot in here, that's all." You attempted to ignore her lustful gaze, instead busying yourself by downing the rest of the homemade potion.
The blonde tugged at the strap of your dress, slowly sliding it down to reveal more of your soft, smooth skin. "I would say I can fix that, but at this rate, it's only going to get much hotter in here." Your gaze flew back to the witch, who looked ethereal with the glow from the fireplace hitting half of her face in just the right place.
"Is that a fact or a promise?" You toyed, pointer finger flicking at the buttons that held her silk blouse together.
"Come here and find out," she bit her plump bottom lip, eyes sparkling with desire.
You nearly pounced on the witch, knocking the glasses out of the way as your lips engulfed hers in a fiery kiss. Cordelia's hands found the hem of your dress, lifting the fabric over your hips and tugging at it, in a way that told you to help her remove the clothing item.
The dress flew to an unknown location after you briefly broke the kiss to help her, neither of you caring where it went and instead rejoining your lips.
You straddled her waist, fingers fumbling with the buttons of her shirt and groaning out of frustration into the kiss as you struggled to free her of her clothing.
A loud rip tore through the room, buttons flying in multiple directions as you managed to tear her blouse open and slide it from her body.
"I loved that shirt," Cordelia mumbled against your lips.
"I'll buy you a new one."
In this moment, you didn't care about the shirt, you cared about how the woman you were straddling was intoxicating. Her floral scent was stronger, her skin felt softer, and the way she had your pussy wet from just a kiss drove you mad with desire.
Cordelia slowly fell back against the cushioned blanket, your lips leaving hers to place tender kisses along her jawline before nipping at the skin along her neck.
"Mm, fuck that worked quicker than I thought it would," Cordelia admitted after eliciting a low moan at your mouth leaving marks down from her neck to her chest.
You couldn't help but let out a laugh at her words before moving her sheer bra to the side, allowing you access to her breast. An eager tongue flicked at her hardened nipple before your mouth latched onto her tit. Your free hand grasped at her other breast, moving the same fabric to the side so you can twist her nipple between your fingers.
Cordelia's breath hitched, back briefly arching from the ground as you gave her chest the attention she was craving.
"Fuck, I need more. It's not enough," she whimpered as her hips just barely bucked below you.
"Mmm, who's the needy one now?" You mumbled, sending wet kisses down past her navel.
Cordelia wrapped a hand in your hair, pulling slightly at the strands just enough to elicit a moan from you, and force your face to look up at her.
"How about you just use that pretty little mouth to fuck me."
You only smirked at her words as you returned to kissing along her body, but stopping along her hip bone to leave fresh love bites along her porcelain skin.
Cordelia squirmed when your head reached her lace panties. Her body ached for you. Hips bucked in anticipation as your teeth took hold of her panties, slowly sliding the thin fabric down her legs.
Your eyes never left hers as you kissed your way up her calves, across her inner thighs, and over to her bare wet pussy. You had never seen her so wet before, and you couldn't wait to taste her dripping cunt.
Your tongue licked the strip up her folds, Cordelia immediately raking her fingers through your hair. You circled her clit slowly and meticulously that forced a sinful moan out of the witch.
"Just like that—" Her smooth legs held you close, while her fingers held your head right where she wanted you.
Cordelia was quick to fall into a blissful state as you lavished her cunt, the fireplace behind you crackling loudly, flames growing brighter the more pleasure you gave Cordelia.
"M-more, I need more! Please," the sound of your lover begging only encouraged you to give her everything she desired.
A single finger easily slid past her entrance covered in arousal, the added sensation leaving Cordelia breathless. As you multitasked, tongue swiping at her clit and finger slowly sliding in and out of her, Cordelia's back arched ever so slightly with quiet whimpers escaping past her lips.
You couldn't help but gaze at the woman in front of you, the way her porcelain skin flowed under the firelight. The way her body squirmed at your touch. And you couldn't help but hum in approval when the grip on your hair tightened.
"Fuck, I need more! Baby please!"
A second finger slid inside her cunt, instantly finding the soft spot with each thrust that had elongated moans reverberating off the dimly lit walls.
Cordelia could feel her body heating up, beads of sweat forming along her chest and forehead, both from warmth from the fire and her own body working itself up from pleasure.
"How's that feel, baby?" You sweetly asked, eyes noting every movement Cordelia made.
"Soo good," the blondes breath was shaky and low.
You picked up your pace against her cunt, ignoring the strain you felt against your forearm as you worked your way to give Cordelia the best treatment she deserves.
Cordelia could feel the welcoming knot in her abdomen, fingers gripping onto your hair to keep your head in place. The witch wasn't taking any chances of you pulling away and making her wait to finish.
"I'm so close.." Her eyes grew bright from the dancing flames as her gaze fell upon you between her legs.
"Let go, baby."
Cordelia's legs stiffened around you, a sharp gasp followed by the roaring of the fireplace behind you let you know that the witch was at her peak. Her back had lifted from the floor, toes curling, and fingers pulling at your hair.
"Fuck!"
The blonde was unable to form a full sentence as she came along your fingers that refused to stop, allowing your lover to ride her high as long as possible.
You hummed as you tasted her along your tongue, slowing your movements little by little on her cunt. Cordelia's vision went blurry, chest riding and falling rapidly as she attempted to catch her breath.
"Okay, okay— I can't—" Cordelia pulled at your hair, forcing your head away from her dripping pussy.
You swiped at your bottom lip with a smirk, immediately crawling your way up her lightly freckled body to engulf her in a heated kiss. You were quick to straddle her, hands fiddling with her tits as her tongue dipped into your mouth.
Her own hands roamed your body, sliding down your sides before grabbing hold of your hips and pulling you the rest of the way down to her. Your wet pussy pressed against her own, and your hips couldn't help but needlessly grind down against her.
"Oh my god..." your words were breathless into the kiss.
Her grip was tight along your hips, manicured nails ever so slightly digging into your skin as she guided you back and forth.
"That feels so good," you whimpered.
Cordelia was already sensitive due to her previous orgasm, but the newfound pleasure from your clit grinding against hers had her eager to chase after another high.
"Let me see you, baby." Cordelia was not only eager to reach another orgasm, but she was even more eager to watch you grind yourself against her.
With one last kiss to her lips, and gently pulling at her lower as you lifted up, Cordelia's chestnut eyes danced over your figure.
There was nothing the witch loved more than to see you on top of her. The way your hair fell around your face, the slight jiggle in your tits as you moved, and the way your hips needlessly moved as you pleasured yourself on her.
"You're so damn beautiful," her hands dipped behind you, grabbing a steady hold of your ass.
Your own hands squeezed at her tits as you held yourself together, a loud hum escaping your throat at her words as your own mouth was unable to form a sentence.
"Just like that, baby. You're doing so good."
You could feel the heat creep onto your cheeks, not from the roaring fireplace behind you, but from the words coming from Cordelia's lips.
She loved praising you and admiring you just as much as you loved to hear it from her. It only made you want to work harder, do your best to ensure you would hear those words again.
You could feel your legs begin to stiffen and your hips start moving at their own pace, and you could feel yourself getting worked up towards your release.
You easily slid across Cordelia's soaked pussy, low moans filling the room as the both of you felt the pleasure only increase.
"So..close..." you whimpered.
"Not yet, baby. I'm almost there. Just a little bit longer."
Cordelia's nails dragged along your hips, leaving minor scratches in their wake that only elicited another moan from you as you lazily nodded your head at her words.
Your stomach tightened and you knew you could finish right then and there, but if Cordelia said to wait, then you would wait for her. You love when you came together. The way your bodies would orgasm at the same time, filling you both with a feeling of euphoria and bliss.
"I can't— 'Delia, please," you whined.
Cordelia's head fell back, mouth agape as her own hips moved in the opposite directions yours did to speed up the process.
It didn't take long thereafter for the witch to nod her head rapidly, moans becoming more consistent as she hurried quickly towards her release.
"Fuck! Come with me!" The words flew from her mouth just before she pulled her bottom lip sharply between her teeth.
Cordelia's legs shook while your breathing stopped, all sounds coming from you going silent as you came along Cordelia's cunt. The blonde followed you soon after, eyebrows knitting as her grip along your hips never ceased.
The flames from the dimly lit candles spread throughout the room went out in a flash, only the fire from the fireplace cascading a glow over both you and Cordelia.
You gasped as you finally caught your breath, Cordelia loosening her grip on you to instead ease up your shaky movements. Your body shook as Cordelia's hands slid to your back, urging your body forward to press her lips against yours.
Your breasts fell in line with Cordelia's as your hands slid to her slim waist. The blonde couldn't help but close her legs, squeezing her thighs tightly together as your lips were pressed together as one.
Cordelia sighed after you broke from the kiss for air, your head immediately falling to the crook of her neck. Her fingers ran tender lines up and down your back as you gave her neck a tender kiss, both of you silently laying there in each other's arms.
The witch was expecting the effects of the potion to wear off by now, but grew curious as to why when she was pressing her thighs together, that she felt the same ache between her thighs as before.
She needed more. Craved for more. Desired more.
You could feel the woman move slightly beneath you, but she gave you no chance to think on it when she expertly flipped the two of you over, eliciting an unexpected gasp from you. The woman now sat on top of you, eyes completely filled with desire as she lowered her lips to hover just centimeters over yours.
"Oh I'm not done just yet." A wicked smirk toyed at her lips, mascara covered eyelashes fluttering as she lowered her tone next to your ear. "I want to ride your face. To feel you lavish every inch of me. To come along your tongue as my fingers play with your pussy."
You felt the same ache she did, the need for more pushing you to force your lips back against hers in a heated kiss that left both of you feeling feral.
If that's what Cordelia wanted, you were going to give it to her... and so much more.

As the day slowly winds down at the academy, the atmosphere shifting from a busy morning filled with classes, errands and working, to a cozy and relaxed one. Wilhemina had been working, Billie as well but having a more quiet day, only some meetings on her usual busy agenda. You had spent your day moping mostly, trying to focus on teaching your classes and helping out your students, eventually collapsing on your bed as the responsibilities tired you out, causing you to retreat to the comfort of a nap, sleep drawing out all the thoughts that had been lingering on your mind lately, shushing the battles you had been fighting in silence for the last few weeks.
When you eventually awaken, your usual darkness surrounds you and clouds your thoughts but as you almost lazily scroll through the academy, you find her. Medium to your heart. Billie arrived home earlier than usual, her presence bringing a sense of warmth and comfort to the spacious living room. She settles onto the plush sofa, kicking off her heels and letting out a contented sigh as she sinks into the cushions. Not expecting either of her girlfriends to have finished with their days yet, she is surprised to find you lingering by the doorway, chuckling seeing you so comfortable in an oversized hoodie and looking adorable as ever.
You join her, snuggling up beside her on the sofa, grateful for the chance to unwind together after a long day. The two of you share easy conversation, laughing and joking as you catch up on each other's day. Billie's presence is like a soothing balm, and you find yourself relaxing in her company, feeling safe and cherished.
,,How has your day been babydoll?'' she asks as she presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, her nails comfortable settling on your back, creeping underneath your hoodie and scratching over the skin ever so gently in a soothing way, the way you loved it most.
,,It's been fine, how about yours?'' you muster up your best smile, trying to avert her eyes as you knew she could see right through you. As she begins to share some details about her day, her manicure appointment and some meetings today, you notice Wilhemina lingering in the hallway, having returned from work a few moments before. She moves gently around the room, with a sense of quiet grace, her presence adding an air of sophistication to the space. She joins you both after a little while, giving you both a gentle smile before settling in her armchair besides you and listening to Billie talk about her day, the redhead usually enjoying some quiet rather than sharing details about her day, very much like you but at the same time very much unlike your other two girlfriends.
Cordelia on the other hand, has been out running errands, her day filled with tasks and responsibilities. At first the was doing some work in her office, going over some council things, replying to some emails, checking for any new applications. Briefly, she made an appearance in one of the classes run by you and Zoe, smiling contently as she noticed everything was running smoothly. After lunch, she decided to head out, doing some errands, including shopping and also visiting the doctors office to pick up Wilhemina's medications and prescriptions. Usually the redhead did these things herself but she had asked Cordelia as she knew the supreme needed to head out today and Wilhemina couldn't make it in time. During her visit and conversation with the receptionist, knowing the four of you and especially the supreme quite well by now, she however, received some unexpected news.
And as she finally returns home, her mind racing with worry and concern, the tension is very noticeable as she enters the living room, taking a deep breath, as her eyes lock with your own. Almost ignoring Wilhemina's and Billie's presence as the medium stopped talking when noticing the supreme's presence and greeting her with some warm words. All three of you notice, the tension and the concern written across the blonde's features and so Wilhemina is the first one to take over, sensing yours and Billie's hesitation and the flick of fear in your eyes.
,,Honey, what is it?'' she asks gently, trying to make eye contact with the supreme. And despite the flicker in the blondes eyes, acknowledging the redheads statement, her eyes can't help but leave yours.
,,I stopped by the doctors office today to pick up some of Wilhemina's medication'' she begins and instantly you shiver in Billie's arms, the blonde noticing the shift from you comfortable and safe in her arms to being able the feel the tension so clearly.
Wilhemina's eyebrows furrow in confusion, not understanding what any of that has to do with you, before her eyes travel towards you and noticing your state.
Cordelia takes a moment to gather her thoughts, her mind racing with how to broach the sensitive topic, doubting whether she should have talked to you alone, however her worry not being able to delay this conversation any further. ,,Sweetie'' she addresses you directly, her tone gentle yet a little firm. ,,Why haven't you been picking up your medication for quite some time now?''
The room falls silent as Cordelia's words hang in the air, the question not being answered, as all you can do in response being shivering in Billie's arms. The medium's brows furrow with concern, as her hands try to keep you calm, trying to reassure you as she is sure there is an explanation for this, despite the flicker of guilt in her brown orbs. Wilhemina's expression remains neutral, though her eyes betray a hint of worry. All eyes are on you now, awaiting your response and what they are sure may just be a simply misunderstanding.
As Cordelia's words sink in, you feel a knot form in your stomach, your thoughts racing as you realise they had caught on. The weight of their gazes on you, Billie's hands on you, hit you like a ton of bricks. You guessed they would eventually catch on, despite your best efforts at hiding your emotions and state, however you didn't expect it to be today of all days, now, in-front of the other two as well.
Billie's hands travel towards your cheeks, trying to give you some comfort as she meets your eyes, noticing how your chin begins wobbling, tears lingering in your eyes, the tension in the room growing with each second. ,,Babydoll, is everything okay?'' she asks softly, the concern evident in her voice and features.
Wilhemina watches you intently, her expression unreadable as she waits for your response. Though she remains silent, her gaze holds a silent plea for you to open up, despite knowing you are very much like the slightly older woman, having a hard to time lay your feelings out like that. Her eyes eventually find Cordelia's, both questioning her choice of bringing it up like that, at the same time giving her an understanding nod, sharing the blonde's concern over you.
And as time flees on, the seconds slowly turning into minutes, you try and think of something. You could easily lie, making up some sort of excuse for not having been able to pick it up, or even blame it on the doctors office, making some kind of mistake. You despised it, lying to them, but you couldn't share how truly bad you had been feeling. For a moment it does cross your mind, whether to be honest, tell them about the battles you had been fighting, how you had really been struggling with sleeping, eating, often making excuses and how an all too familiar friend, the blade, had come to greet you again some time ago.
And then the room begins spinning a little, the lack of food mixed with your anxiety slowly bubbling inside you, threatening to spill out any moment and cause for panic to win over. Billie's hands still linger on you, but you can't feel them, their gazes blurring together as one, mixing in with the walls and furniture, the orange and yellow from the sun setting in the background. And then your ears begin ringing a little, fading out the sounds of Cordelia's words, begging you to fill them in on what's been going on. But somehow, Wilhemina notices, how your eyes are fixed on a point somewhere, staring into nothingness, how your hands are shaking, your legs bouncing up underneath the blanket ever so slightly, how your face turned noticeably pale.
,,Y/N, I need you to talk to us'' Cordelia begins again, ignoring your state as her thoughts of concern and worry win over.
,,Cordelia-'' Wilhemina begins, slowly drawing her eyes away from you and towards the redhead. And when the blonde notices the expression on her girlfriends face, she instantly stops, her mouth closing as she stops the words that were about to follow. Wilhemina's eyes plead with her to stop, to notice your struggling state and to focus on helping you rather than interrogating you right now.
Cordelia fights back some tears, internally scolding herself for pushing you and not noticing she was pushing too much, not noticing your vulnerable state, still sitting in Billie's arms. And then, they just let you sit in silence, waiting for this little storm to pass as your breaths become a little more erratic, your chest rising and falling quickly. Wilhemina composes herself, reaching for your hand, as Billie lets go of them. And when you feel a slightly firmer grip on your hand, your eyes snap open, her brown eyes drawing you towards her.
And as you look up at her, meeting her brown steady and safe eyes, the little reassuring smile and feeling her thumb rub little circles on your hand, your breathing finally returns to normal, the colour slowly finding it's way to your features again. And just like that, her safety guides you back to reality, your vision much less blurry, the panic slowly subsiding. She simply gives you a proud little smile as you return the favour by mouthing the words ,,Thank you''. And then the room is quiet again, Billie glancing at Cordelia, who still stands in the room, almost frozen, watching the exchange between you and the redhead.
,,Are you tired little one?'' your girlfriends asks, noticing how you are trying very hard to blink the sleep away. Glancing at your other two girlfriends, you simply nod, feeling a little shy and embarassed, also guilty for never answering their questions. ,,Let's get you upstairs, shall we?'' she asks before balancing on her cane and holding out her hand to you. You hesitate then, glancing at Billie who simply forces a smile and nods, allowing you to go and reassuring it's okay to get some rest.
And so you take her hand, not daring to glance at Cordelia, feeling horrible and guilty for ignoring her like this, but at the same time not being able to help it as sleep and a sense of fatigue washes over you, almost drowning you in it. And so carefully, you balance on Wilhemina, quickly up on your shaky legs and following her upstairs. Billie and Cordelia watch as the two of you leave, the only sound to be heard, the sound of Wilhemina's cane as the two of you ascend the stairs and eventually make it into your shared bedroom. Cordelia sighs heavily as soon as she hears the faint sound of the bedroom door opening and closing, almost with a sense of defeat walking over to the sofa where you had sat and sitting down next to Billie, rubbing her temples in annoyance and distress.
,,I'm sure it's nothing, darling'' Billie tries to reassure her, noticing the supremes state, knowing her words wouldn't give much comfort to the blonde, but wanting to try nevertheless. ,,I'm sorry'' Cordelia whispers, the guilt weighing heavily on her mind. ,,I shouldn't have brought it up like that'' she apologies, more to you and herself rather than Billie Dean. ,,I understand love, but you're worried and it's okay'' the medium reassures as she reaches for the supreme's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze, her girlfriend simply responding with a sad smile.
Meanwhile, Wilhemina had guided you upstairs, with so much love and gentleness, it almost makes you cry as you sit on the bed where she had sat you down. As the room turns darker and darker by the minute, you watch as she walks over to your wardrobe, carefully opening some draws until she finds your pyjama one and looking for some comfortable ones. Once she is content with her choice, she reaches for a hairbrush and scrunchie before returning to you. Neatly, she places the clothes beside you, before ushering you to turn around. ,,Mina- you don't need to'' you begin to protest but she shushes you quickly with a gentle smile and shaking of her head.
And so you comply, sitting crossed leg and turning around, before you feel her fingertips slowly brush over the top of your head, before leaning her cane on the bed, brushing through your hair gently, removing some knots, before braiding your hair for you. Usually, Cordelia would do these things for you, without ever asking for it, but your Delia loved taking care of you and so there is something so special about this encounter with your Mina that again it almost brings tears to your eyes. Her hands feel so gentle on your scalp that it almost makes you fall asleep, yet the braiding keeps you awake a little as she has to apply a certain amount of pressure to make your hair stay in place. Once she finishes, she reaches for her cane, putting the hairbrush back neatly in place, as you turn around and reach for your pyjamas.
,,Let me help you with those little one'' she tries, but you protest then, reaching for them and heading towards the bathroom. ,,Thank you but I'll do this'' you reassure. And she brushes it off then, knowing if anyone tried to dress her, she would be furious, Mina especially struggling with accepting help, even if it was with you three. And as you stand in the bathroom, smiling at first, noticing how much gentleness and care she had put into the braiding, your smile quickly fades as you noticed what pyjamas she had chosen for you. You didn't mind the trousers, however the matching shirt was unfortunately short sleeved as it was the middle of summer and her choice was more than valid.
However, as you take off your hoodie, the red marks another reminder of your foolishness lately, adding another pang of guilt to your features, almost causing your heart to sink in your chest. ,,Shit'' you think to yourself, knowing Wilhemina was perceptive, maybe not as confronting as Cordelia but after the encounter downstairs, you knew you had to be careful from now on, at least if you want to continue the hiding and keep the perfect facade up. And so you opt for the only thing you can think of, putting on the shirt but quickly putting back on your hoodie, easily being able to explain that, simply saying you are cold. And after quickly brushing your teeth, you find yourself back in the bedroom, Wilhemina waiting patiently for you, as she sits on the bed, smiling seeing her little one so comfortable and adorable.
A little unsure what to do next, you simply abandon your clothes in a nearby washing basket, before walking over to your side of the bed, crawling underneath the covers, before Wilhemina gently tucks you in, sitting beside you. ,,Are you cold, little one?'' she questions, noticing how you are still wearing your hoodie. In response, you simply nod, not wanting the subject to be adressed further and despite her being able to tell, she simply tucks you in a little more. Yawning, you glance at her before mumbling ,,You can go back down... mm.. tired'' and she smiles then, loving to see you so sleepy and adorable. ,,It's okay little one'' , she whispers before watching your chest slowly rise and fall, much more comfortable than before as sleep slowly greets you, her hand rubbing little circles on your forehead, lulling you into a soft slumber.
After a while, the redhead carefully gets up, walking towards the door but making sure you are still asleep. And when she leaves, walking down the stairs, she can hear both Billie and Cordelia in the kitchen. Her mouth watering a little as she smells the supreme's cooking, hungry and tired from her busy day, the concern about you still lingering on her mind. She finds Cordelia walking back and forth from the kitchen island to the fridge, gathering ingredients for a quick meal, while Billie is leaning against a counter, nervously fidgeting with her nails. And as the redhead finally joins them, she can't help but notice the guilty expression on the mediums face and how it had been there already when the four of you were in the living room.
,,Is she okay?'' Cordelia asks, noticing Wilhemina's return, her eyes locking with the redheads. ,,Yes, she's asleep'' she states, her eyes wandering towards Billie again.
,,What's wrong with you Howard?'' she questions, noticing the blondes unusual fidgeting and nervousness.
,,Have you also forgotten your medication or do you just need a cigarette?'' she almost mocks, Cordelia giving her a disapproving glance, before Billie chuckles nervously and reaches for a cigarette and lighter out of her handbag, before disappearing to the garden. The other two watching from the kitchen window ,,Something is up'' Cordelia remarks before adding the last ingredients to a pan while Wilhemina nods in agreement, before reaching for some plates and cutlery and placing it on the kitchen table, opting for three, unsure whether you would wake up any time soon.
And while Billie smokes her nervousness away, she can't help but think back to an encounter with you a while ago. How she had assumed that the other two already knew by now but given their lingering concern and Cordelia's discovery today, she worries whether she should have said anything, should have shared what she saw. And despite taking a deep breath, as soon as she returns and takes a seat, she can't help the shaking of her hands or averting their gazes.
While Cordelia serves the food, almost absentmindedly, her thoughts still with you, Wilhemina can't help but feel annoyance towards the mediums behaviour, never usually seeing her high energy girlfriend like this. ,,What is it Billie?'' she asks again, her tone mirroring her annoyance, Cordelia not paying much attention as she sits down and begins taking some bites of the food. ,,It's nothing'' Billie reassures, shakily reaching for her fork and forcing down some food. But Wilhemina couldn't just brush it off, knowing there was something wrong by the way Billie's behaviour shifted as soon as Cordelia filled them in on her discovery and how that same guilty expression had been on the mediums face ever since.
,,Why do you look like you just broke one of your newly manicured nails then?'' Wilhemina jokes, trying to lift the mood a little and hoping the medium might share then. And when Billie stays silent then, dropping her fork and not responding with her usual sarcasm, Cordelia picks it up, her attention now on Billie, equally abandoning her food as she notices the mediums unusual behaviour.
,,Billie darling, what's wrong?'' Cordelia questions, reaching for the mediums hand and placing her warm steady hand on her shaky one.
,,So you don't know then?'' Billie questions, her eyes locking with Cordelia's.
,,Know what honey?'' the supreme asks dumbfounded before Wilhemina joins in.
,,You knew about the medication?'' she questions, almost a little sternly but Billie is quick to shake her head.
,,No, I had no idea about that'' she confesses, only adding to the confusion on her lovers features.
,,What is it then?'' Cordelia asks, anxiously, not understanding what Billie was implying.
And when an uncomfortable silence falls over the quiet kitchen, Cordelia's and Wilhemina's concern grows with each second passing, never knowing Billie to be so quiet, to not share with them. And while the blonde thinks back to her discovery a while ago, she is hurting inside, her heart beating angrily with guilt. It was a quiet day, just you and Billie as the other two worked late, the two of you carelessly strolling through the gardens, Billie clumsily dropping the cigarette she was about to light, when you picked it up for her. A split second of carelessness, you bending down and your sleeve lifting up ever so slightly. But the split second was enough to see the fresh cuts and her mouth opened after taking the cigarette you held to her but then some girls joined you two and she couldn't say anything. And since then she had thought about bringing it up everyday with you, however she never had the chance as the two of you barely got any time with just you two. In fact, she had thought about bringing it up tonight, as the two of you sat so comfortably on the sofa, knowing about your past struggles with mental health and you taking the medication, but then Wilhemina joined and she couldn't ask about it then. She had hoped silently, that the other two already knew, Wilhemina ever perceptive and Cordelia just Cordelia and always knowing and in control of things. However the evening made her realise they had no idea, that she was the only one who had seen you struggling and the thought of not helping sooner killed her, causing for her to sit in silence, Wilhemina's impatience growing by the minute.
,,Spit it out Howard'' Wilhemina tries, pulling the medium away from her thoughts and flashbacks but she remains quiet, growing a little pale.
,,Have you forgotten English?'' Wilhemina pushes, her own anxiety betraying her.
,,I just assumed you knew being the supreme and all and you.. you wear glasses'' Billie finally speaks, pointing at Wilhemina, unsure how to ever say the words lingering on her mind.
,,What do you mean darling?'' Cordelia tries gently, her eyebrows knitting in confusion, not understanding what Billie was implying.
,,You know...'' Billie tries, stopping herself from putting those words in her mouth, the thought too painful.
,,No we don't, what do you mean Billie?'' Wilhemina tries again, softer this time, noticing how much her girlfriend is struggling with this.
And then after taking a deep breath, she finally fills them in ,,Harming herself'' is all she says, Cordelia instantly knowing what Billie means, her eyes closing as the pain of Billie's words sink in, remembering your struggles in the past and the faded scars on your wrist, despite them being barely visible when she had last seen your arms anyway.
However, Wilhemina didn't know as much as Cordelia as you never wanted to burden the redhead with your past, her own way too painful for you to ever be selfish enough to burden her with your pathetic attempts to rid you of the pain you endured. ,,What do you mean?'' she asks a little dumbfounded, not understanding how you could be harming yourself. But as she meets Cordelia's form, seeing how quiet she had gotten, how she never questioned it, how she simply sits there with her eyes closed, tears forming in Billie's vision, she knows and the realisation almost kills her, much more painful than the pain her body gave her on a daily basis due to her scoliosis.
,,Why on earth didn't you say anything?'' Wilhemina argues, now dropping her fork in annoyance as it clanks on the plate. Cordelia's eyes snap open, startled at the sudden noise and her girlfriends raised voice. ,,I assumed you both knew, I'm so sorry'' Billie apologises, the guilt gnawing at her insides. ,,Why would she do this to herself? I don't understand- Cordelia?'' Wilhemina tries reasoning with the blonde, hoping she could make this any less painful.
But Cordelia doesn't say anything, as a wave of concern and anger washes over her, concern for you and also anger at herself of how she didn't pick this up, only now realising how she hand't seen you in short sleeves in ages, how you had often not been in bed at night when she sometimes woke up, how you had often made excuses about meals. How she hadn't really seen you all that much, thinking about it now and how you had seemed so tired and sad and how she never picked it up until now, as if Billie's words only now wake her up and make her see. And so with one swift motion, she almost jumps out of her chair, startling the other two in the process before she sprints upstairs, Billie and Wilhemina looking at each other with both shocked and concerned expressions, before they are quick on their feet and behind their girlfriend.
,,Cordelia.. Cordelia'' Billie tries but it's hopeless as by the time they are both upstairs, the supreme is already by the bed, tugging at your sleeves. You jump from sleep, confusion washing over you as you try to yank your arms away from your girlfriend. ,,What are you doing?'' you ask confused and angry, just having woken from sleep.
,,Show me'' the supreme demands, her voice firm and lacking her usual gentleness. Billie watches in shock, while Wilhemina is already in the bathroom, searching through absolutely everything, trying to find some evidence, knowing you wouldn't show them, at least not like this.
,,Show you what?'' you ask confused, jumping from the bed and holding onto your sleeves, backing away into a corner as Cordelia continues to take steps towards you, her concern lingering on her features.
The blonde sighs in frustration, seeing you back away like this, before Billie takes over, taking gentle steps towards you, wanting to show you she has no intention of checking, no intention of scaring you further. ,,They know honey'' she whispers, tears lingering in her eyes as the realisation suddenly dawns on you.
Moments later, Wilhemina returns with a little makeup bag and you sigh heavily, knowing what she had just found. She holds the bag in her trembling hands, giving it to Cordelia as they pass each other. Inside the supreme finds a pack of razors, some tissue and wipes, shaking her head in disbelief, not understanding how she could have missed this, fighting back her tears as guilt and concern wash over her. ,,Are there any more?'' Wilhemina questions sternly, searching your face, searching your eyes but you remain silent, shivering as you stand in the corner under their gazes.
,,Y/N'' she tries again, banging her cane once in frustration, causing you to flinch. But this time Billie is quick to interject, positioning herself in front of you and stopping the redhead. ,,Wilhemina- enough'' she scolds, pleading with her to notice your state now.
,,No Billie, you do not get to do this'' Wilhemina argues ,,You knew all along'' she counters, causing the guilt to fill the mediums features again.
And then the room fills with silence, as neither of you can find the right words to say. Billie simply standing frozen, facing Wilhemina, still protecting you by hovering in front of you. The redhead holding onto her cane for dear life, the anger very visible on her features. Cordelia having abandoned the bag by now and sitting on a nearby chair as her legs felt like giving out, sighing in frustration as she watches the confrontation between Billie and Wilhemina unfold.
It doesn't take long before the confrontation triggers your anxiety again, causing you to shiver even more, your stomach twisting and churning before you eventually grow pale. Seconds pass until a small gagging noise escapes you, the panic growing in your eyes before you run towards the bathroom, brushing past your girlfriends. Wilhemina sighs, the guilt of this whole encounter weighing heavily on her, Cordelia and Billie sharing knowing glances and sighing in defeat, knowing they could have prevented all of this, by Billie speaking up sooner and Cordelia not addressing this in the way she had earlier this afternoon.
And as you empty the very small contents of your stomach over the toilet, tears stream down your cheeks, not from this whole encounter but more from being sick. You absolutely hated being sick, and so you can't help the hot tears escaping you. With a few deep breaths it's over and you quickly compose yourself, flushing the toilet, before brushing your teeth, wanting to rid all the evidence of what just happened. And as you stare at your pale complexion in the mirror, your brain races with thoughts, thinking what you could do to make all of this go away, to go back into hiding and them not knowing as this was exactly what you wanted to prevent. And so, the only thing your brain can think of in this moment, is make it all disappear, rid you of the scars and cuts so you could lie, go back into hiding and make this all go away.
You begin by closing your eyes after abandoning the toothbrush, rolling up your sleeves and focusing your magic on your wrists. If you were in a clear state of mind, you would know this could never work, especially not on the healed ones, or to begin with. You knew it needed healing potions and swamp mud to even remotely make it go away but your magic could never make them disappear like that. Still, you pathetically try, growing annoyed at yourself as you open your eyes and they are still there. Eventually stumbling backwards and sliding down the side of the bathtub, trying over and over again to make your magic help you out.
Meanwhile the three of them remain frozen, each of them contemplating whether to go in and help you but they knew you prefered to battle everything in silence, including being sick and they all breathe out in relief once the retching stops and the sound of a toothbrush can be heard. However, Cordelia is quick on her feet when her supreme senses alert her of something else. For some reason, Cordelia could quite literally smell your magic. It always lingered in the air whenever you used magic around her, the smell of strawberries. Ever so slightly and ever so subtle and it doesn't take long for her to connect the dots and figure out what you are trying to do. The other two watch in silence and confusion as she bursts through the door, sinking to her feet as she takes in your shivering form. And despite your best attempts to roll your sleeves back down, she had already caught a glimpse of it, knowing you are trying to make all of this go away.
,,Sweetie'' she tries, holding your hands back ,,No, No, No'' she tries to stop you ,,It doesn't work like that sweetie'' she reminds you, taking your sobbing form into her arms. ,,Shh'' she coos as you finally fall apart in her arms. The blonde is quick to sit on the floor, lean on the bathtub herself before pulling you into her chest, you holding onto her shirt for dear life, for some support to guide you through this storm. Billie and Wilhemina watch the scene unfold in confusion, not understanding what you tried to do in the first place, not being able to do much beside watch and frown, seeing their sunshine in so much pain, all the guilt and anger subsiding from their features slowly.
,,You're okay darling, it's all going to be okay'' Cordelia reassures as she holds you closely, grounding you by guiding you through your breathing, her perfume and smell calming you further as you listen to her steady but slightly quickened heartbeat. And so the two of you sit on the cold bathroom floor, neither of you caring about that as of right now. And after a while, your sobs slowly subside, the only sound to be heard your quiet breathing, as you close your eyes and continue holding onto your darling Cordelia. ,,Come on sweetie, let's get you to bed'' she tries gently but your eyes remain closed. With a worried glance, she looks up at Billie and Wilhemina who remained frozen in the exact spot, the medium quick to support Cordelia by helping her lift you up and gently take you to bed. And as you lay there, you still don't move, simply curled up, with your eyes closed before Billie tucks you in.
,,We need to let her rest'' the medium announces as she glares at the other two, getting ready to head to the bathroom to get ready to join you in bed. Wilhemina and Cordelia simply look at each other, a questioning look on the redheads face. ,,She-'' the blonde begins but quickly gives the redhead a signal to follow her. The two of you stand a little away from you before Cordelia explains ,,She tried to get rid of it with her magic'' and Wilhemina simply nods, understanding now what the supreme had sensed before and with a worried glance taking in your exhausted form.
And as the night wears on, the three of them join you in bed, Billie opting for the space next to you as she snuggles into your side, holding you close as she wraps her arms around you. As if she could make it all go away by holding you closely to her. Wilhemina in her usual spot but not able to sleep a wink, so in the end opting for simply sitting comfortable on the bed, a book in her lap, watching over you, Cordelia and Billie sleeping softly while holding you. And her thoughts can't help but trail off, why you hadn't told them, why you hadn't told her specifically, also about the medication. She worries then, that there was something about her that made you not feel safe, whether she was too strict or intimidating with you at times, despite a little voice reminding her that you hadn't shared with the other two either and that after all she managed to calm you before when panic was rippling through you.
It's about 3am when you wake, the only noises being heard the occasional car outside, the moon illuminating the coven and your bedroom, however another light source coming from another side of the bedroom, assuming it must be Wilhemina's nightlight. And then you hear a quiet noise, the sound of a book page flipping and you can't help but turn, being able to feel both Billie and Cordelia beside you but not your Mina. And as expected, she sits there, reading glasses on her face, her hair down which was a rare occasion, a lilac nightgown keeping her warm and comfortable. And it both made you sad and content, knowing she was awake because of you but also appreciating not being fully alone. You consider turning around again, hoping the soft arms of your girlfriends would coax you back to sleep but also knowing there was no way your racing thoughts would allow that.
And for some reason, the previous evening caused those all too familiar thoughts back, you felt guilty wanting to punish yourself, you felt pain wanting to make it go away, you felt fear hoping the blade could rid you of those. But you know they wouldn't have kept your things anywhere close to you and you also knew with Wilhemina awake she wouldn't let you brush past her, especially not now. And so the only thing you can do is cry, ever so quietly, trying to contain the sobs and simply letting the tears flow. But Wilhemina notices, despite your back faced to her right beside her. Cordelia and Billie beside you on the other side of the bed. She notices how your breathing was a little different and when the first sobs wrecks through you, she is quick to abandon her book on her night table, her hand reaching for your shoulder in an attempt to turn you around.
Shivering into her touch, you pretend you can't feel it, pretend you aren't crying and sobbing but it's useless as her hand taps your shoulder again, begging you to turn around. And when you do, her face crumbles seeing you in so much pain and wanting nothing more than to hold you, to comfort you, to fix all of this, to make her little one happy again. ,,Little one'' she whispers, her face filled with concern. ,,Come here'' she offers, moving her legs a little so you can get comfortable on her lap. You don't even hesitate, moving closer to her, settling on her lap, checking her expression whether it hurt her back. And for a while she holds you, her hand rubbing soothing circles on your back, helping you through each sob, wiping your tears in between with her thumbs, trying to make all of this go away.
It takes a while, but you settle in the end, finding your breathing as the sobs had stopped, as your Mina had wiped most of your tears, only leaving your damp cheeks. ,,Little one?'' she tries, softly, causing you to look up and meet her eyes. ,,Are you alright?'' she asks, unsure what to say at this moment as you really hadn't said all that much to them yet, and it worried her. ,,Hmm'' you simply nod, unsure what to say, your tired eyes locking with her worried ones. Silence follows before you feel her fingertips travel from your back towards your arm, beginning at the top before ghosting over your hoodie and stopping by your wrists. ,,Can I see, little one?'' she tries, her eyes still locked with yours. But you flinch, not really caring about Billie or Cordelia seeing them now but Mina, you simply couldn't.
And so, you shake your head no, feeling terrible as she was so kind, gentle and loving right now but you couldn't, not with her. ,,Why?'' she questions, not sternly or angrily but curiously, wanting to know why you couldn't let her see. ,,I can't Mina, not with you'' you whisper before doubt fills her features. Her earlier concerns and voices returning, telling her you had no trust in her and you can tell, by the way her eyes avert yours and how her expression turns into a pained one. ,,I can't show you because I feel terrible'' you admit, tears lingering in your eyes again. Her eyebrow furrows in confusion, before she looks at you again with a questioning look. ,,Why little one?'' she tries, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
,,Because.. you have to go through so much pain Mina'' you whisper, the truth spilling out of you a little bit. ,,Everyday and I'm so stupid for doing this to myself, I'm sorry'' you confess, biting your lip anxiously as more tears pour from your eyes. Once the realisation hits her, her face scrunches up in pain, all the doubts and self consciousness leaving her, unable to believe that despite all the pain you had been going through, her still your main concern and caring more about her feelings and pain than your own. ,,Little one'' she tries, her eyebrows knitted in concern, her eyes filled with heartache. ,,This is not the same'' she begins ,,You are hurting and that's just as valid my darling'' she reminds you. You falter then, glancing at your wrist as she gently lifts your sleeves, her eyes landing on the healed and cuts from a few days ago.
It brings tears to her eyes but Wilhemina knows how to fight them back, knowing she needed to be there for you now. But she hated it, the thought of you so sad to do this to yourself. ,,I'm sorry that we didn't see this little one, I'm sorry we didn't help'' she apologises, gently pulling your sleeves back down, to make you feel less exposed, internally grateful that you showed her, her heart swelling a little at your honesty with her in this moment. ,,You aren't mad?'' you whisper, a little anxiously but seeing no shame, no disgust in her features. ,,No little one'' she reassures, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. And somehow she makes you feel so safe and loved that you feel confident enough to confide in her in this moment, the truth about the past few months and weeks spilling out of you.
,,I stopped taking my medicine a few months ago'' you admit, meeting her eyes as she listens contently, her expression remaining calm, loving and understanding. ,,I thought that- that maybe I didn't need it anymore'' you admit before adding ,,I don't know what I was thinking'' and Wilhemina understands all too well, herself having tried some experiments with her medication in the past before. ,,And honestly I was better Mina'' you begin nodding your head to make your statement more believable. ,,But the last few weeks have been awful'' you admit to yourself more than herself really. ,,It all came back badly and I didn't know what to do'' you finally admit, all the truth finally out there. And Wilhemina simply looks at you, feeling content after understanding your reasoning, not for a second mad or upset with you as she understood all too well.
,,It's okay, come here'' she coos as she watches your face fall apart again, knowing this must have been a lot to admit to her, and so she simply holds you again, getting you both comfortable as she lays you down and holds you tightly on her chest. ,,It's okay little one, it's all okay now'' she coos. Wilhemina tries her hardest to coax you back to sleep and despite it taking a while for the sobs to stop, your breathing to get slower and sleep to eventually welcome you, she holds you through it all. And once you are finally asleep, she sighs, not in frustration, never in frustration but in pain, wishing she could help fix this, wishing this never happened in the first place.
And when morning arrives, Cordelia wakes first, finding Billie still asleep next to her, however she wasn't holding you anymore and she gets scared then, quickly turning around, only to see you cozily asleep on Wilhemina's chest, the redhead watching over you protectively, getting some sleep but waking as the first cracks of light flooded their bedroom. She exhales, the panic leaving her features, before a soft content smile spreads across her features. ,,You okay honey?'' Cordelia mouths and Wilhemina meets her eyes then, knowing she would have to fill the supreme in on this eventually but for now simply nodding and forcing a smile. Cordelia notices the way your fist was gripping onto Wilhemina's nightgown despite being asleep and how your sleeve was exposed ever so slightly. The blonde isn't sure what to do and so she simply does what her heart tells her to, move a little closer and snuggle up to Wilhemina, one arm protectively around you as she seeks in the warmth of her two lovers.
Eventually, you wake as well, opening your eyes only to feel that you are still in Wilhemina's lap, Cordelia and the redhead smiling at you as they notice you waking. ,,Good morning sweetie'' the blonde greets you with a warm smile, Wilhemina's features matching the supreme's softness. Remembering the previous night, you can't help but wonder what Cordelia already knew, what Wilhemina may have already shared with her and they can tell by your expression before the blonde cups your cheeks, brushing over them softly with her thumbs. ,,Sweetie it's okay, I understand now'' she explains and Wilhemina's face grows a little anxious, hoping you wouldn't be upset with her but your face is filled with relief, grateful that you wouldn't have to tell them again as last night had drained you enough. ,,I'm sorry'' you whisper guiltily, tugging at your sleeves a little nervously. ,,Sweetie'' Cordelia tries softly ,,You have nothing to be sorry for'' she reassures.
Meanwhile, Billie finally wakes, having heard muffled and whispered conversation, only really picking up the last parts of it. ,,Good Morning Howard'' Wilhemina greets her, noticing her rolling over and moving closer to the three of you. ,,Morning'' Billie mumbles, still a little sleepily smiling at seeing you three so closely. ,,Someone going to fill me in?'' she asks as she presses a kiss to your cheek. Glancing up at Cordelia, she gives you a reassuring smile. ,,How about we do that over some breakfast sweetie?'' she asks, as you stare at her a little anxiously but seeing both Wilhemina and her comforting and reassuring glances you can't help but nod, knowing Billie equally deserved to be filled in.
And somehow today felt a little more manageable, knowing todays conversations would be unpleasant and painful but also knowing you wouldn't have to hide it all, being able to just be yourself in front of them again, which you hadn't been in the longest time. And in their embraces all you can feel is safety as of right now, as Billie scoots a little closer, also wanting to feel her little babydoll close.

It was awful, really. And you felt bad for it. For wasting her time. This is not going to help. If you needed some extra help in your herbal class, then you need assistance from Zoe, or Queenie, or Myrtle, someone who is not this woman.
It was comical, and you almost laughed right in her face when she ask you if you wanted her to tutor you later in the evening. You didn't need help. You were a smart and powerful which. You just needed her out of you head. There was too much of her to even pay attention to the task at hand.
And it hurt too. There was no denying that. With the many obvious signs that she was helplessly in love with you, you ignored them all. She's the supreme for god sakes. She was so close yet felt so out of your reach.
You were just wasting time in this goddamn greenhouse. Every minute with her counts, but right now, you were just staring straight at the wall behind her, daydreaming of what you could be doing instead. What— no, who you could be kissing and showing you truth to.
You hear her snapping and it pulls you out of your deep trances. It's honey brown eyes and hair golden in the moonlight that's shining through the roof window that you notice first. "Are you even listening?" She doesn't sound annoyed, but she's clearly had enough of this. All this. What even is this?
"I'm sorry, Miss Cordelia. I am, I just—"
"You don't have to call me that, ya know." It hurts too much to not call you it. If you call her Cordelia then it seems to real. She's not your mentor, not your supreme, she's Cordelia. And so you stand behind that Miss Cordelia barrier that you build. The one that Cordelia tries so hard to break down.
"I know." As you stare into her eyes so warm that you feel as though your melting, as they soften as they stare back at you, she cups you heated cheeks. You know that she feels how hot they are, you know that she knows what is going on with you, but still, she asks,
"What's really going on? You're one of my strongest witches, sweetie."
You truly want to tell her that she's so distracting because you've unwillingly fell in love with her. Because, then, maybe you'll be able to pay better attention in class. But instead you tell her, "I just haven't been sleeping right," sugarcoating your love for her and letting it melt in your mouth.
It's not a complete lie; because you cannot sleep when she walks by your room to assure that you are safe in bed. You cannot sleep when you've see her only an hour before your rest in a simple pajama slip. Milky silk and see-through if it were any thinner.
"We should make you a sleeping potion then." She knows your lying, but she is not going to force you to be honest. That's not what she is here for. She just wants you to be ready. She would wait forever for you to tell her how you feel.
And then she's gathering the ingredients. Patting around the greenhouse as soft as a spring day, and you have to look to see if she is even walking. Look to see that she's not flying around instead of walking like an angel that you could mistake her to be.
She stands behind you and her arms are locking you in between the table and her body. She's wearing a nightgown like every other night and you can feel her breasts press against your back. Your breath hitches and you think she notices because she asks if you're okay. You nod, because you cannot speak, you cannot do anything besides stand there as if you were built with cement.
Her blonde hair falls against your shoulder and you get a strong whiff of her lavender shampoo. She smells so sweet and you feel like you are being embraced by a fresh pastry.
"Do you remember one of the key ingredients for our sleeping potion?" She tests you, because she knows that the day she taught this, her shirt seemed to be just a little shorter cut than usual. She knows you weren't paying attention to sleep and potions and herbs that day.
"Um...," you feel so pathetic for not knowing. So useless. "No, not really."
She smiles still. You can hear it in her voice, "That's just alright. Chamomile is one of the main ingredients." She speaks softly and begins grinding the chamomile into the mixture. Her freckled arms rub against yours with each movement. Bare skin against bare, and you yearn for more.
These emotions are too strong for your body to handle. They cannot fit as you are too much already filled with Cordelia. You are going to explode if you don't let it out somehow. And so you stand there and permit silent tears to roll down your face.
You assume that Cordelia won't notice, but a warm tear ends up landing on her hand and she cannot stand there and pretend that it didn't happen. She doesn't want to make you uncomfortable, but the only way she knows to make everything better is to be upfront and loving.
She grabs your waist, gently, and turns your body so your facing her now. It's so close; you can feel her soft breath against your face and her legs are practically intertwined with yours. "I don't want you to lie to me anymore," she doesn't sound angry still, just so desperate. And you know you look a mess right now but she thinks you're so pretty.
"I don't think I know how to not do that," more tears fall down. You are so afraid because you know that it's too far this time. There is no going back to what you once were with Cordelia just an hour before this.
"Show me?"
Your trembling hands cup her cheeks this time, smooth beneath your palm. You don't want to pull her forward, you need her to show you that she isn't the supreme right now. You always need her.
"It's okay," she merely whispers, nods, and smiles softly. And you forget about you fears, about the sugarcoated emotions on your tongue. You lean forward and everything's so fuzzy and blurry around you; like a fever dream, but it's oh so real.
She moans into your mouth. She sounds so pretty against you. It's the perfect combination of her vanilla chapstick and your strawberry one to create the sweetest taste.
Her hands are still on your waist and she pulls back, but only her lips so she can rest her forehead against yours. "Not so scary, right?"
"Well i'm scared that I just fucked everything up."
She shakes her head and smiles delicately at you. "You didn't fuck anything up. I would've been out the door by now." Your laugh and hers are a soft melody that echo against the four walls of the greenhouse. She grabs your hands and tangles her slim fingers with yours. "I. love. you."
"Promise me that it's what you want." You still can't believe it. But you can't have it if it's not real.
"It's what I always wanted. What I wanted when I met you. What I want, still, now."
"Then you should know that I always wanted it. I love you too. So much."

GIRLS' NIGHT
a drunken reader returns home to her lovers
pairing: Billie Dean Howard x Cordelia Goode x Reader
Word count: 2.2K
warnings: alcohol, vomiting (not explicitly mentioned)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a Friday night at the coven and like always, that meant that you witches dispersed across the city. Some of the younger girls headed home for the weekend with their families and the older ones typically hung around, out drinking and clubbing every weekend.
You weren’t either, really. You didn’t have much of a family to go home to; the coven was your family as far as you were concerned. And as for the drinking, you weren’t a massive fan. Your ideal weekend was spent with your two loves in the quiet of the New Orleans mansion, reading and napping the stressful week away.
The three of you did have an agreement that while you all wanted nothing more than to spend every waking moment together, it was good to have space and do things separately. After all, it made it all the more rewarding when you came back to each other after a day apart and got to relish in each others’ presence.
So, on this occasion, you were getting ready to head out with Madison and Zoe. You were perched at the vanity, adding the finishing touches to your makeup while Billie lay sprawled on the bed, watching you intently in the mirror. She was still dressed from work, letting you have the bathroom before she showered and changed for the evening, but her feet were up in the air with her little pink slippers on, softening her appearance.
Delia was elsewhere in the coven, pottering around and preparing to close down for the night. There were a few young witches whose weekend plans had fallen through, and she had organised a movie night for them which she would be attending; right now, she was pouring popcorn into bowls and arranging snack platters for the girls. She felt awful that their weekends hadn’t gone to plan, and so she was eager to make them happy.
“You look perfect, angel” Billie drawled out, coming up behind you to give you a kiss on the cheek, “I wish I was coming so I could look at you across the bar,” she smirked, winking at you in the mirror. You laughed, blushing at her affection, “I wish you were coming too, Bill.”
“You’re gonna have a lovely time, baby, I’m excited for you!”
You laughed, “Not as lovely as you! A cute movie night with the little ones,” you teased, getting up from your chair to meet the other girls downstairs.
“Oh ha ha,” she laughed sarcastically, following you down the stairs into the kitchen to say bye to Delia.
Your supreme looked up from where she was working in the kitchen, giving you a soft smile and holding out an arm to bring you in, “you look beautiful sweetheart,” she smiled, kissing your temple, “thank you Delia!” You smiled, excited to go out after their compliments raised your ego.
“Look at our girl, do a twirl y/n!” Billie said, clapping her hands excitedly as you twirled for them, laughing lightly at their silliness.
“Now I have to go, they’re waiting for me!” You laughed, trying to escape them after they had captured you in their arms, covering you with kisses.
Your heels clicked down the hallway, running towards the girls as they waited for you by the door, Madison rolling her eyes at the three of you.
“Let’s go, y/n!”
“I’m coming, I’m coming!”
You arrived at the bar and sat down at a corner table, sending a quick text to your girlfriends to let them know you arrived. Madison had gone to the bar to get you a drink, and you already regretted allowing her to choose your beverage, knowing she would likely be getting you whatever she thought would get you drunk the fastest.
Zoe was at the bar with her, ordering herself what you predicted to be a vodka coke, her usual drink of choice.
When they both returned, you got straight into the gossip, Madison giving you the gory details of her latest endeavours with her co-stars and Zoe gushing about Kyle. They always gave you the opportunity to chat about your relationship, but for some reason you never really wanted to. It felt weird to discuss the intimate details of your love life with the other witches, knowing you would be exposing their supreme, although she would’t have minded, of course.
You hadn’t really been keeping an eye on your drink; once you had had a few, you became so engrossed in conversation and telling your friends how much you loved them that you didn’t quite realise how often Madi made a trip to the bar to refill your drink. You didn’t even question it when when she mixed up the choice, preferring to mix alcohols instead of keeping you to one.
Some would perhaps call it a friendly sabotage, but you knew she just wanted you to let loose for one. And let loose you did. After getting kicked out of the bar for refusing to stop dancing on the table, the other girls had finally admitted defeat and decided they had better walk you home.
Back at the coven, none of the witches had really heard your approach, all too engrossed in the movie they were watching, although Billie would definitely deny that later.
They didn’t hear you stumble into the gates, trying and failing to push them open, nor did they hear you laughing your way up the front steps and struggling with your key in the lock while Madison rolled her eyes.
They did, however, hear you run into the lounge where the movie was playing, flicking on the lights and gaining the attention of every witch in the room.
Their heads whipped round at you stood in the doorway with a goofy smile, Cordelia frowning at you confusedly while Billie smirked.
“Hello everybody,” you grinned, “I love you all!” You shouted, making Billie snort.
The younger girls giggled, looking nervously at each other; this wasn’t what they had predicted for movie night, that was for sure.
Cordelia hopped up from her seat snuggled with the girls, ushering you out of the room while everyone burst into a fit of giggles, ‘okay, lets go and get you some water,” she mumbled, shooting a glare at Zoe and Madison.
Billie followed shortly after, switching the light back off to continue the movie while she wandered into the kitchen where you now were.
You had climbed up onto a chair of the kitchen table, arms in the air and swaying slightly while singing very badly. Poor Cordelia was fretting, holding onto the bottom of your skirt to keep you stable and trying to coax you down from the chair, while simultaneously scolding Zoe and Madison for being so irresponsible with you.
Bille sauntered in and leant against the doorway with her arms crossed, smirking at you. When you caught sight of her, you shrieked, pointing towards her, “my billie! There’s my silly billie!” You laughed hysterically, making her chuckle while Cordelia sighed, having now let you go so she could rub her temples in stress.
Billie came towards you, certain she would have more success than Cordelia in getting you down from the chair because she was laughing along with you, “well hello baby,” she laughed, “it looks like you had a nice time!”
She had her hands on your waist, looking up at you with the sweetest smile.
You were laughing, head thrown back and glowing under the light of the kitchen, and Bille swore her heart skipped a beat. It wasn’t often you let yourself relax this much, and not only was it hilarious, but it warmed her through to know that you were enjoying yourself and felt safe enough to let your hair down.
“Billie, get her down,” Cordelia mumbled from where she stood against the kitchen counter, watching nervously in case you slipped.
“It’s okay Delia,” the medium smiled over at her, offering reassurance that she had you, you wouldn’t fall.
Zoe and Madison had skulked out of the kitchen, not wanting to be blamed for your silly behaviour, and so just the three of you remained in the kitchen now while the other witches supervised the remainders of movie night with the youngest girls.
“Baby, why don’t you come down and we can go to bed?” Cordelia asked, approaching you and holding out a hand next to Billie, which you quickly accepted, mistaking her tone for flirting, “ooh bed time, don’t mind if I do,” you leapt down and wiggled your eyebrows, causing Billie to snort once again, absolutely loving this side of you.
You pressed your lips sloppily against the supreme’s mouth, and she entertained you, despite the taste of alcohol that coated your tongue.
Billie cleared her throat next to you, “I hope you’re not forgetting me, babydoll,” she winked, causing you to pull away from Cordelia and plant your lips on hers next, giggling into the kiss.
You stopped suddenly, growing serious as you stared between them both, “I want fries.” You stated, not wavering in the slightest.
Cordelia laughed lightly, heading to the freezer to take them out and put them in the oven, “coming right up!”
“Thanks mommy!” You grinned cheekily, plopping yourself down on the kitchen chair you were once stood on.
“Oh Jesus,” Cordelia mumbled, while Billie lost her shit, cackling in a way you hadn’t heard for quite some time, which then had you doubled over laughing at her.
“What am I gonna do with you!” Delia laughed, coming over to sit next to you.
After lots of giggles and lots of nonsense from you, your fries were finally ready and Billie plated them up for you, handing them over with a wry smile.
You decided to skip the table and walked off down the hallway with your plate, leaving both women stood confusedly in your wake, frozen in stupor given the events of the evening.
You had been craving this since you had arrived at the bar; in fact, the drunk food was half the reason you decided to go in the first place, and you just couldn’t wait to take a bite. What you hadn’t considered, though, was the temperature of the food straight out of the oven, and you promptly yelped upon munching a fry and dropped the plate in shock.
The two blondes looked at each other, confused, before silently agreeing to venture out and find the source of the clatter. The sight that they found was definitely not one they anticipated; you were sat on the floor in a heap, plate of fries in front of you, crying silently. When you saw the two women approach, you started wailing, “my fries! My fries!”
Billie was laughing, which made you even more emotional in your drunken state, so Cordelia shot her a glare and sat down next to you, “no baby, don’t worry! They’re okay, see? They’re still on the plate! You can still eat them!”
And with that permission, you didn’t even wait to pick the plate up, instead dining on the fries that now sat on the floor and laughing to yourself at how funny it all was.
Suddenly you stopped munching. Mouth freezing while still half full of food, and you looked up at Cordelia worried. She knew instantly what was about to happen and she dragged you up to stand, “ooookay, let’s go to the bathroom, let’s go!”
She escorted you hurriedly up the stairs and into the ensuite where you prompted to empty your stomach of your floor fries. Cordelia held your hair back and rubbed circles on your back while Billie was still downstairs, prepping to deal with the inevitable hangover that awaited you.
She filled a jug of water, grabbed a salty snack for your morning cravings, and gathered up all the painkillers she could find; Cordelia would know which ones were best for you.
When she entered the bedroom, she could hear you and your girlfriend talking quietly,  and after setting the items down she followed the sound into the bathroom, where she found you laying on the tile floor complaining to Delia about how you would never go out again.
“Poor baby,” Billie cooed, sitting down on the floor so she could stroke your hair. Delia was perched on the side of the bath, watching you carefully in case you needed to throw up again.
When you did muster up enough energy to move, they helped steady you as you walked out of the bathroom towards your bed, where you sat up against the pillows watching them move around the room, preparing themselves for an evening of sleep.
Cordelia wore silk pyjamas, applying moisturiser in the vanity and brushing her hair. Billie was gathering up her clothes, putting her heels back in the wardrobe, and brushing her teeth at the same time.
You sat silently, watching them both and incredibly grateful that they were the people you got to come home to.
Eventually, they made their way into bed with you, nestling you between them so they could keep an eye on you overnight. Cordelia handed you water she had poured from the jug and Billie stroke your hair, coaxing you to sleep; she knew you were always wired when you came home drunk, but she also knew how grateful you would be for a good night of sleep.
The next morning, the sun cracked through the window in the gap Cordelia had left in the curtains, and it felt to you as though it had penetrated your skull. Your head was pounding and the room was spinning, but at least you had your two loves to hold you still.
