I need to pour out my thoughts on q!BBH after that last stream, I may go back on this but I just need to talk about him rn

q!BBH showing that he DID take all the furniture opens up a lot of ideas and possibilities that I didn't expect.

Firstly, the fact he can lie to the ghosties, while not the most surprising thing in the world, it does mean that everything he has said/done in private has the chance of being a lie. He said that he doesn't lie to us... directly. He could even be lying about stealing the furniture at all.

This also could mean that he got someone else to do it, but took all the blame so everyone would hate him, as according to his plan. BBH wants to be put in jail, but only at the right time. Whoever stole the furniture could be consistently working with BBH for his plan (if he is working with someone).

I was rewatching the VOD of the day he got imprisoned, and a moment that stands out to me is when, directly after Cellbit pushed him onto the cage block, while everyone is talking at once, BBH says "I'll play along for now, I guess" WHICH MAY BE NOTHING but I think that that has to do with how he planned for people to hate him, but doesn't want to be in jail yet; he knows he'll get out eventually, but he wants to keep the others mad at him.

Another line, after breaking out: "this is not going well for my plans" this one, I believe is actually 100% related to what he said now. His plan is to protect the eggs, but everyone is now voting to make stealing furniture illegal, instead of mines. He feels as though he's the only one who cares for the eggs, like everyone is more concerned about furniture than their own children.

Also, looking back at the VOD, Forever and Pac broke into his house THAT SAME DAY TO STEAL HIS STUFF??? Like. broke in, code breaks, masks, invis potions- and then suddenly BBH is such a criminal and 100% in the wrong??? WHAT???? Also I do know Forever then goes on to say that he doesn’t think that bbh stole it all and was wanting him to return all the furniture from the past, (even tho its not illegal and still isn't) but whatever-

I will point out, Richarlyson's gaming chair was important, it had emotional value, Cellbit being mad about that is understandable, I agree with him... but everything else could've been remade with just the stuff Forever stole, and I think that's really funny jfdlksjfklsdk

OK SO. the animations family.

first off i have to explain the QSMP a bit. the QSMP (nobody's really sure what the q stands for afaik) is a multilingual minecraft smp that first started in march 2023. the original server roster was 16 players, half of whom were hispanic and half who were english speakers. (this was bc quackity, the guy who came up with the server and did all the planning and stuff, is bilingual and wanted to unite his two communities). one of these original 16 was jaiden animations (this is important). on the first day of the server, these 16 members were stranded in a place called Quesadilla Island, which is controlled by a mysterious and sinister Federation (run by a weird little guy named Cucurucho)

okay, you know the trope of science projects where you get split up into pairs and have to take care of an egg together? they literally did that. All of the players were split into pairs of one spanish-speaker and one english-speaker, and tasked with taking care of an egg (actually a special NPC played by a server admin). the eggs started out with two lives each, and once those lives were out, the egg's gone for good, and your in-game child is dead. (this is a secret surprise tool that will help us later!)

one of these parenting pairs was jaiden animations and roier, and their egg's name was bobby. bobby was a rambunctious little fella- artistic, brave, very aggressive- and an absolute mama's boy. jaiden, roier, and bobby (aka the animations family) all got along very well, and tbh i need to go rewatch jaiden's vods of them bc they were so sweet together. jaiden changed her minecraft skin to match bobby's so they were both wearing overalls together.

(^ mentally i am here)

jaiden's character (or cubito, a word from the spanish speaking community that essentially means "minecraft roleplay character" that p much the whole community uses now bc its so damn cute) was aroace (just like jaiden in real life!), so she and q!roier were in a qpr co-parenting situation. and it was really sweet and i miss them. can you tell i miss them.

now, astute readers may have noticed that i use "was" for both jaiden and bobby. on may 17th, 2023, bobby lost his second life to a vindicator and was ruled permanently dead. roier was there at the time, I believe, but was unable to save bobby in time. when jaiden found out, she SCREAMED and it was like. you know in hamilton how when phillip dies eliza screams? it sounded like that. (she also chased after the sunset while saying "wait for me" over and over again, it was really heartbreaking and im still a little bit insane about this).

the next day, the whole server went on a journey to the dungeon bobby died in, to plead with cucurucho for his revival. cucurucho refused to bring bobby back permanently, but allowed jaiden and roier ten minutes to talk with him and say their goodbyes. bobby asked them to remember him every time they saw a sunset.

(^ the last time the whole animations family was together. this was 9.5 months ago).

neither q!jaiden nor q!roier ever really fully recovered from bobby's death (although id say jaiden was hit way harder due to not having a support system outside of roier and cucurucho, who took advantage of her grief to manipulate her). there are some other things that happened here, such as q!roier getting married to a cellbit, a brazilian player working as a double agent of sorts within the federation, and purgatory (all the players were teleported to an island, separated into three groups, and forced to fight one another. in the end the island got blown up by a nuke).

on sunday, cc!jaiden talked about her qsmp character, ultimately stating that she was taking a long break from the server, that she had given the admins permission to do whatever they want with her character's absence, and essentially announced that unless the admins stated otherwise, q!jaiden had died in the nuke explosion in purgatory, firmly destroying the animations family.

(to me, the saddest part is that, recently, new eggs were assigned to groups of childless players, and both jaiden and roier got the chance to raise new eggs, with jaiden being assigned to empanada and roier currently being pepito's sole active parent. and all q!jaiden wanted was to be a mom. she died never knowing she had a second chance to rebuild her family. i am no okay.)

in conclusion:

THE LOVE WAS THERE AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I AM CRYING IN REAL LIFE I MISS HER SO BAD. SHE'S WITH BOBBY NOW.

I am so sorry c!pumpkinduo enjoyers but I have to get something off of my chest a lil.

Please I beg of you stop interpreting c!pumpkinduo (in manburg OR in Las Nevadas lore) as a healthy, loving dynamic. It’s like the biggest misinterpretation of a character dynamic I have seen in my whole life which has got to be an achievement. There were obviously silly and funny scenes between them, ones that made their relationship look like a good one and thats exactly the point. Toxic relationships are not a constant and unwavering hurt.

First reason, watch any Quackity manburg vod ever and pay attention to the semi-lore bits it is literally so obvious that for one, Schlatt did not love him back. Two, He did not respect Q, and three, anytime that was brought up it turned into threats. Anyone remember that one time Q stated c!Schlatt did not respect him and he just threatened to lobotomize Q so that he couldn’t think like that for himself? Because I sure do. It directly lead to c!Q canonically having a plan to impeach/execute him.

It was never carried through, honestly, but it’s the thought that counts. Suppose the good moments and bits of attention he got out of basically begging not to be made fun of for like two minutes worked out. Admittedly a lot of the making fun of was just them being silly, Schlatt telling him to go to the gym, calling him flatty patty and Q crying that one time but tears are tears ☠️

You guys forget the way that the two characters ended up. CQ brought up SERIOUSLY that he was tired of being disrespected and cast aside as an equal member of Manburg, and of being constantly mistreated, and Schlatt literally started to fight him. Like. Their marriage ended in a physical battle in which Q pulled out a crossbow to get him away and Schlatt taunted him for being a coward. Their marriage ended in cQuackity shooting him to death, and directly after he went to Pogtopia with hopes of actively working against him.

Though the biggest application to cPumpkinduo being blatantly toxic is the first Las Nevadas lore stream. The entire first section of it actually, which I was rewatching and gathering quotes from.

CQuackity explicitly stated several times that just the thought of being around cSchlatt makes him uncomfortable, and that he gets flashbacks/terrible memories when he’s with him. I genuinely do not know where people got the implications through any of his lore that this was a happy and loving relationship but it sure as hell wasn’t here. Cant be just me who hates ppl trying to take a canon abusive relationship and portray it as loving. Its like taking cdiscduo and being like omg best friends!! (But to what feels like a lesser extent)

Of course it wasn’t abuse to the extent that it was with cdiscduo or very typical violence you see in media, but it was still mentally abusive, and eventually they still got physical. (I could also talk ab how freaky it is for ppl to depict their relationship as s3xua11y abusive but thats for another time. Its annoyingly common.)

Another thing I notice people tend to do is, for some reason, say that c!sweaterduo is a better enemies to lovers dynamic or even ship Revived cSchlatt/Wilbur/Q, which if you think about for more than three fucking seconds youll see how weird that is. CSweaterduo legit just fucking despise each other not in the homoerotic, enemies yo lovers way, they just genuinely want each other to die. I promise making them get together at some point whether it be the elections or after revival is not the move you think it is. CPumpkinduo was a canonically abusive relationship, and adding cWilbur to the mix? Yeah, no. No thanks.

I can see cTntduo, but the complete mischaracterization of cSchlatt as a whole is just… Weird! Sorry, it’s weird. Making an abusive character loving and filled with guilt over his actions when that has never been canonically displayed (quite the opposite in fact) just to ship your favs is strange. Especially on the coumpkinduo end where cQ openly expressed that cSchlatt made him uncomfortable and upset just to think about because of the impression he left.

Jack Manifold and His Pursuit of Purpose

Jack Manifold is foiling Quackity and Techno hard, most especially recently. (Jack’s colors are also red and blue—red is Techno’s and blue is Quackity’s, which is an interesting dual dynamic.)

Based on my Big Q - Blood God Spectrum, he is leaning very close right now to Quackity, most especially that he has recontextualized his reasons for killing Tommy after seeing him come back

The thought came to mind when I rewatched his March 12th VOD, during his visit with Niki. He was quick to recognize Niki’s anarchist sentiment without her even explicitly telling him she became one. Based on his reactions, he seemed opposed to anarchy as a concept. (This thankfully doesn’t put them at odds with each other. I hope this friendship maintains itself in the long run.)

Techno’s idealogical opposite is Quackity, whose opposition to anarchy is stemmed from not only flourishing in a governing, organized, and structured environment, but being secure and safe in said environment.

The same can be said for Jack, who sees protection with the borders of a nation, as well as a mandated respect for the protection of personal property. Personal property is matter very important to him, someone who prioritizes hardwork and does not let griefing and stealing slide, most especially, as Ranboo once noticed and voiced, Jack Manifold is someone who “loses [their] stuff all the time,” and does so not for any justifiable reason other than “he’s just unlucky.”

He demonstrated this point alongside his point about getting rid of Tommy when he killed Niki’s chickens. There is a reason Manifoldland existed, after all.

Jack’s initial reasons to kill Tommy were personal in nature, driven by a need to enact retribution. It’s a need so strong that it literally brought himself back to life!

To him, no one should be able to get away with hurting him. (This is also why he has that same anger for Technoblade and Dream.) The selfish and personal nature of this motivation could arguably be why the first attempt failed. This anger stemmed from emotion and personal grudge, therefore making plans not so easily well-executed and very rife with his emotional volatility.

This, I believe, is where he heavily parallels with Techno, who picks and frames his battles through personal grudges (I am aware most of his motivations are noble in intent, but it’s also clearly punctuated with emotional grudge). In this anger did he not have time to process what exactly Tommy meant to him. Tommy’s death let him do exactly that.

Tommy’s resurrection and exit from the prison also did the same thing, just moreso, reviving Jack’s need for retribution.

It’s realizing that even if Tommy died and came back, nothing got better. Nothing changes. The potential for the cycle of chaos to continue remains.

Jack, in light of new realization, believes that Tommy’s suffering matters far less than not just his own but now also the suffering of everyone else on the server. For Jack, the pursuit of freedom and security shouldn’t have been achieved through some guy’s discs, but through countries and organization, in circumstances wherein less damage would be done. He, and in his belief, everyone else, shouldn’t have to lose that much to find peace. He was willing to fight and suffer, but not to the point of literally having to go to hell for it.

Tommy’s choices, actions, and circumstances that are beyond his control brought him to the position of contributing to one of the server’s major, life-changing conflicts. Unfortunately, only very few recognize that he’s a victim of Dream’s fixation.

Jack, still maintaining personal anger towards Tommy, most especially after how he and Tommy talked at the hotel that day, does not see that Tommy’s involvement with the server chaos is something he never wanted to contribute to. Both Jack and Tommy are in too much personal pain to properly communicate their needs to each other. Their shared brashness and emotional volatility just made them angrier at each other.

Where everyone perceives Tommy as a hero, Jack sees Tommy as villain. He thinks he should be worse than Dream, because Tommy dying to a friend (just as he did) is far more painful than dying to an enemy like Dream.

Jack, like Quackity, sees the need to use order as a means to combat the greater chaos happening upon the server. Jack, like Technoblade, treats friendships and betrayals so significantly that it affects their actions and relationships with people.

It’s tragic for Jack, IMO, because he’s not rich or as skilled as Techno, nor is he understanding and as sacrificing towards other people like Quackity. He has the worst traits of both, and for this reason, just can’t find freedom and security he’s looking for.
