A/N: anon I'm dying at go nuts show nuts, that's the funniest shit i've read in a while but anyways yeah, all 3 sounds good to me lmao. also, I wasn't sure if you wanted platonic or romantic so i just kept it on the friendly side, i hope that's okay!

Jack:
Jack is a bit wary around you at first simply due to the nature of your job.
But once he sees just how gentle and kind you are with the souls you reap, he's back on board with getting to know you.
As he gets more comfortable with you, he'll definitely make fun of you like he does with the other guardians but he does it with love!
Jack will occasionally accompany you when you're reaping a younger soul. His presence seems to calm them down if they begin to panic, even if they sometimes can't see him.
If you ever get a break from reaping, he will invite you to participate in one of his famous snow day snowball fights as a way to forget about the sadness that sometimes comes with the responsibility of being a being of death.
He's still the excitable and reckless Jack Frost but when you're around, he's more mellowed out and - forgive the pun- chill to hang out with.
Pitch:
Pitch is intrigued by you from the start.
While he may control people's fears, it is a rare occasion for him to actually interact with one, let alone one as important as the personification of death itself.
He knows just how powerful a reaper can be so he is always sure to treat you with the respect you deserve.
The one time Pitch tried to convince you to join him against the Guardians, it ended with a scythe pointed at his neck and a stern scolding from you, so he doesn't bring that subject up around you anymore.
Pitch actually enjoys spending time with you though, he feels that your presence is much more tranquil and calm than that of the other spirits he knows.
He can be maniacal and full of himself but deep down he has a strange admiration for you and the job you do.
Bunnymund:
Bunny has known you for a long time and has come to highly regard you as an ally.
You two mesh well together, because without the deaths you take watch of, he wouldn't be able to help bring new bouts of life into the world.
He refuses to see any of the souls you may bring around The Warren though, it makes him kind of squeamish.
He will occasionally help you wrangle up a lost soul or two but it's very uncommon for him to be around during the actual reaping.
Bunnymund and you do spend the most time together just because your roles are so interconnected with one another (Guardians of Life and Death and all that).
All in all, You and Bunny are very close knit and have a great respect for one another.

Im a very big proponent of lying and/or withholding information on the internet, ESPECIALLY if you belong to a marginalized group. This entire blog is about trans men and i purposely tag my posts to get as much spread as possible. This blog is not private; it's huge and very public facing. And that invites the usual bigotted assholes; transphobes, mostly terfs, weirdly a lot of the forced pregnancy crowd. Those people are dangerous in their own right with doxxing, mass reporting, and stalking irl. Thats why I keep shit vague. Sasha is not my name, is not related to my name, and is not a name i have ever gone by. My age is 21+ and that's all you get. I'm in the northeast usa, which is hugely populous but relevant to my posts about medical care which is why it doesnt just say "american." When I post pictures of my top surgery results, my face is never in them, and I censor identifying scars and tattoos.
Now personally im not uber worried about run of the mill bigots. I block preemptively. I have code in my blog that allows me to see who is viewing it, when, and where from. I feel safe enough with the precautions I take that this kind of harassment doesn't bother me.
What *does* bother me is pissbabies who dont know queer history dragging me into pointless discourse, and fandom police. These are not people I *ever* want finding my main blog. This blog is a side project- I saw a hole in the community, a lack of positivity for trans men, and I wanted to help fill it. My main is my home on the internet. I have been on that blog *for longer than some of you have been alive.* I am not risking being harassed and falsely mass reported and having my friends targeted because someone hates my opinions on fucking star wars.
This is a lesson from ye olde internet. LIE. Stop telling people your name and age and birthday and location and mental illnesses and triggers and posting selfies with recognizable locations in the background. Like for fucks sake- you do not *ever* owe anyone this information for anything. Not to be in a discord, not to participate in a fandom event, not nothing.
Stop asking people for this information, and stop providing it. You can never take it back once you do.

Okay, a few questions:
(I know you dont have the answers for most of these but I really enjoy your headcanons)
1 Amun is said to have some talent at finding gifted vampires (while they are human even) how do you think he does that?
2 Do you really think vampires have regular human hair? All vampires would be bald. I mean even just the windshear from running at stupid speeds would eventually make their hair so brittle it would just fall out, and they would just, pull it all out when they are newborn right? Also the nails are vamp grade so why not the hair (I headcanon that alice and rosalie had just spendt a few hours with wirecutters dipped in venom trying to give emmet a more modern haircut at some point, and then he imidietly went out and ‘played with fireworks’ and thats how he burned his hair off in cannon, the ‘wound’ was still fresh and the strands had venom exposed to the air)
3 Are you still doing the monthly writing challenges?
4 Where do you think the ‘soul particle’ is in a vampire? Like you could probably burn the limbs and maybe even the chest whitout killing them but the head needs to be attaced to something for the vampire to be concious? So is it the head? Like in the southern wars would they burn the heads in battle and worry about the bodies after or would they still have to worry about headless bodies rejoining the fight?

Amun
Well, like you said, we don't know. We only know what he says in Breaking Dawn and what's mentioned in the guide. However, what we do know to me doesn't indicate a talent so much as Amun is very old and knows what to look for and is also actively looking.
We don't know how he found Demetri but we do know how he found Benjamin. Benjamin was noticeably talented with fire and Amun heard about him, witnessed this, then turned him. Amun in other words, despite being a hermit in the desert, does have his ear to the ground and actively searches out talent much the way that Aro does, by taking a chance on people who look exceptional.
Add to this that Amun has been around Egypt for a very long time and that population and trade in that area has always been extremely large relatively for world population. What I'm getting at is that without having to move around it's not unlikely people with gifts would be in the area with enough time.
It's also telling to me that in thousands of years, thousands past when the Volturi decided gift strike forces were a great idea and everyone had to participate in an arms race, Amun has only found two and he has Benjamin in a death grip.
He immediately went full hermit after Benjamin and is terrified Aro will show up and take him away from him. That speaks to me of how rare it is.
TL;DR Amun's been looking in a highly populated area that has a rich history stretching back thousands of years, he knows what to look for and is willing to take a chance and turn people himself, and he's only ever found two and is horrified he'll lose Benjamin.
Is the Hair Human?
No.
Previous thoughts on vampire hair have been had but I do think it grows (otherwise everyone would be bald), so perhaps grows slowly pace we take into account Bree's adventures and the newborn with a bald spot, and it has to be stronger than our hair or else again everyone would be bald. What it appears to do is only ever stay at the exact same length for reasons.
We also know that it generally looks 'better' than most human hair without the vampire putting in any effort. Victoria's hair per Bella looks great when she's running about the wilderness with no shampoo, conditioner, and probably know hair brushing either.
Bella's hair after a month of starvation is suddenly not only incredibly long but also unbelievably good looking. It should look awful after that experience and should be thinner.
This gets me a lot of flack in this fandom but I subscribe to the magical girl hair theory for vampires.

What the Fuck is Up with Zombie Vampires
Every time I talk about Biology I say something stupid. I could assume a brain is required for most congition, and that the limbs simply have some nervous response or remote signalling that gets them back to the head, but I honestly don't know.

Re: Hypertagging characters/ships for triggers, yeah as someone whos insane ass has a very serious trigger for a specific fictional character -particularly if they are portrayed in a positive light- I just Do Not Read Fic in that fandom by and large and blacklist it pretty hard.
It sucks I had to divorce myself from the fandom because I LIKED the earlier seasons and sometimes the fic was cute and good, but I simply cannot reasonably ask anyone to tag every mention of that character so I blacklist it all.
Its a me issue, NOT a them issue, so its my job to manage it and actually put effort into that.
That means blacklisting the show on every platform that is possible that I use, not following people who are likely to post that character, not consuming the new canon content of the show in case I get jumpscared with the character, and only ever intentionally looking for content if im in the right frame of mind to be able to stand simply seeing the name somewhere while I control+f a fic to see if they show up. I even sometimes ask friends to prescreen fics sometimes if I REALLY want to read something.
I make my own content if I want to engage with that media and I avoid the fandom. Its... I wont say its easy because it really sucks actually, but the world cannot and should not cater to me in that way. Its a competing access need and unreasonable to ask.
Its reasonable to ask a friend to warn/not deliberately show me that character- not NOT reasonable to ask a rando to do that.
Id even try to desensitize the trigger if I was in a good place for doing it but I am the wrong kind of insane to be doing that any time soon lol. Trauma work lays you right out.
To people wondering how anyone could be so fragile as to need something like that tagged; PTSD and other mental illnesses that cause serious triggers often latch onto innocuous things. Do you think I want to have such a 'cringe' trigger that causes me to [redacted] at best and have a dissociative panic attack-flashback combo AND [redacted] at worse? No its dumb as hell and I hate that there is very little to do to suppress it. Does that make the trigger go away? Also no. Its not like this is just me not liking or being uncomfortable with the character, this is an involuntary serious-hazard-to-health negative reaction I shant detail that sucks ass.
Yes us crazies do deserve to participate in fandom spaces too, we arent too broken to be barred from playing with everyone else- we just have to understand where the reasonable line is on accommodations for tagging, understand that competing access needs are a thing, and do the rest of the work ourselves.
Its not perfect but its the most good for the most people.
Id invite anyone who has a character/ship/etc trigger to seriously just blacklist the media and do what I do or even be more strict about it. You will feel so much better and more stable im not kidding. It sucks to lose a beloved fandom but you will feel so much better.
For everyone else- dont feel you need to tag every last mention on something. If you really want to be trigger friendly for some reason, you can put in the chapter notes all the minor mentions of stuff or w/e. Please Do Not put it in the proper tags.

Sadly, "dumb as hell" is a pretty default setting for triggers. If only brains were logical and behaved themselves! But one has to work with what one's got.

I think it's really cool when other people who are multilingual do it! I've dropped a word or two in when it felt right, but otherwise I personally stay away from writing it because I lack the knowledge to do it justice. I do sometimes make up languages for magic purposes, though!

last song: 'trample out the days' (2022) by orville peck<3 'bronco' is one hell of an album man.... and that VOICE. while writing already listening to 'kalahari down'. also on repeat: the hungarian rhapsody (because of daffy duck) and 'renaissance'. also: i really like checking out what yall listen to every once in a while:) otherwise, i will listen to the same stuff over and over
last film: 'se7en' (1995), i dont care for smart ass killers nor their idiot Methods, but i found the atmosphere here fascinating and so immersive! i also really liked the very on the nose discussions of ideas, of motivations, between the two detectives!! next is 'zodiac' and maybe an almodóvar one... ah also. technically didnt watch the whole thing, but watched the part of 'the two towers' when the ents decide to take down saruman; "a wizard should know better!!"
currently reading: 'the book of form and emptiness' (2021) by ruth ozeki, i adoooore both feeling the flow of attention and detail in the narration and getting that dialogue between narrators! i'm around halfway; and currently on hold because the other one is getting very good, 'la casa como jardín' (2021) by xavier monteys, treating the house as a garden! fascinating perspective and i have yet to get to the best parts!! reminds me so much of the concept of mat buildings and toyo ito's mediatheque in sendai...!
currently watching: jjk season 2. technically i'm also 'watching' spy family (makes me mad. will not speak about it) and a couple dramas (i miss you so much, attorney woo young woo...), because i'm present while they're on... but i just care about jjk

are there any rvb fics you still think about all the time? like i dont think a week goes by without thinking abt qed and how it def changed me on a molecular level, do you have any fics like that?
oooh good question. the most important fic is at the bottom of this post so just scroll to the final paragraph if you only want one, true recommendation of the only rvb fic that really matters.
QED is fantastic though its more of @shotgunslap's thing than mine. the partner to that is also obviously QoQ, the only rvb fic ive been able to make almost all my friends read. i think about the south/north characterization every day of my life. caboose and carolina mean so much to me, etc etc. thats a pretty easy pick though so im cracking into my ao3 bookmarks to look for more niche picks.
i know there was actually a lot of rvb fic that was just posted to tumblr that i think ive gone back and tried to reblog at some points but i never organized it, i should have archived it, people who wrote good femslash and rvb women liked to just post it under a readmore on their tumblrlog and you have to go digging through decades old tags to find it now
okay. the big one i actually do still think about all the time forever and ever is saltsanford's stuff about epsilon/wash's relationship. this is the big one i still think about that centers on their backstory, but also, put my guns in the ground, which is one of the Big fandom tuckington longfics, also has such good washpilon stuff in it and they're so fucking juicy. when tucker asks wash how many times he's broken his ribs and he says four and epsilon says "actually it was five" before realizing How Bad of a Move that would be. Hello? Hello?????? i want them to be forced to reimplant and have weird mind brain trauma sex SO BAD sorry im normal. this is another one that takes place during/after the chorus era
on the spectrum of fics that i actually dont yet feel ashamed reccomending, primtheamazing, who wrote QoQ, also wrote some other good stuff. i am a HUGE fan of this fusion fic, the punchline to the tucker/caboose fusion is HYSTERICAL. this one where grif forgets who simmons is due to temple shennanigans and flirts with him is also very like. trope-y but i like that shit so this goes here too
ok. now onto the stuff that it is actively embarrassing for me to be recommending. but. prim's logrimmons fic is hysterical and was the stepping stone to creating the lolixgrimmons mind palaces with my friends so its worth it just for that. but also its really fucking funny. so is the one where locus has to listen to them have sex and gets himself caught
the truly embarrassing one for me to have here is the piece of softboy grimmons content i participate in. sadly i do enjoy s15 content sometimes for the softboy grif sensitive emotions exploration i will admit to being a hypocrite there and i really liked that one and reread it frequently (just realized this is written by the QED person so! you might already know of it)
and then finally. the most important red vs blue fanfiction of all time, guns are for shooting. it has it all. sarge. washington. sarge again. kismesisitude. grif and simmons acting like rosencrantz and guildenstern (are dead). locus being invisible and getting caught by lopez with a bag of flour. it's written by the person who wrote QED. You want to read it right now. Read it right now. READ IT RIGHT N

Not to be a "fandom elder" but can we all agree that if you're in your 20s or older in the Monster High fandom you should not be engaging with teenagers in discourse beyond educating them instead of thinking it's okay for a bunch of 20 somethings to gang up on a teenager because they have problematic thoughts and ideas lmao.
Like, teenagers are probably gonna have g3 Monster High be their first ever fandom experience and I really dont wanna see literal adults giving them shit because they don't understand how to navigate problematic thoughts and systems yet. Teenagers are gonna be cringey and awkward and messy but we should let them be that without the expectation that they need to be our peers to participate in the fandom.
It's much easier to ignore, block or disengage than to bully and harass teenagers who are exploring their feelings about themselves and the world through a toy franchise.

“Hm, Draken? What are you doing here? Where’s Mikey?” You ask, confused at the tall man at your door instead of your best friend who was supposed to be coming over to your place.
“He’s being a wimp,” he sighs with a frown and hands you something, “Here, it’s from Mikey. He’ll be over soon, I’ll make sure of it.”
Then he walks away, waving you farewell over his shoulder without looking back.
Confused, you close your front door, but open the envelope Draken had given you. He said it was from Mikey, which makes you swallow. Was it a coincidence that today was Valentine’s Day and you were receiving a letter from your best friend who you had the biggest crush on? Or were you getting your hopes up for no reason? Only one way to find out…you begin to read the contents of the letter inside;
Dear Baby,
Okay wait, it’s weird to type that out already, when I haven’t even written anything yet…sorry, you’re probably shocked. That is what I want to call you–actually, it’s what I’ve been calling you in my head for the past few years now. You have no idea how hard it’s been to keep that petname to myself whenever we were together. It’s almost slipped from my mouth so many times.
Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day, Y/N! This is my confession letter to you :D. I think my feelings for you were there since we first met at the Sano Dojo. I didn’t know girls could be tough too, so it made my heart flutter to see you fight so well, since it was something I was also good at. Though we were still kids at the time, so I don’t think I fully understood what those feelings meant, so I just wanted to be your friend.
But now the title of only friend isn’t enough…I need more. I need you. Your my partner in crime, and that will never change, but I want to hold your hand as more than friends, and kiss your lips instead of your cheek. I want to have a future together as lovers. So, will you do me the honor of being my Valentine this year? Will you be mine, baby?

You didn’t even get a chance to react to Mikey’s confession before Draken’s booming voice could be heard outside your door.
“I swear if you don’t hurry up and knock on that door. Stop being a wimp, Mikey!” Draken yells at his friend.
“Shut up, Ken-chin, I’m doing it! I’m no wimp,” the man behind the letter to you whines. You can almost imagine the pout on his lips, which makes your heart flutter in your chest.
With a thumping heart, you open the front door and find yourself face to face with Mikey, who has his hand raised as if he’s about to knock on the door.
“Oh, b-, Y/N! Haha,” he laughs nervously, his hand flying to his pockets where he stuffs them, “Funny seeing you here.”
“You idiot, this is her house. Why wouldn’t she be here?” Draken sighs, slapping him upside the head, and shoves him inside, before Mikey could run off.
“It’s about time you both got this over and done with. How blind can you both be…” Draken grumbles before stomping off.
Mikey was nervous–that was something you’d never seen before. He was always full of confidence, never scared of anything…
Mikey glares at his taller friend as he walks away before facing you again.
“Heh, ignore him Y/N,” he laughs, closing the door behind him and making himself at home, as he throws himself on your couch, like always.
“You like me?” You ask him causiously, butterlfiers erupting in your stomach at saying the words outloud. You almost regret them as soon as you say them as Mikey visibly freezes on the couch.
It’s quiet for a few moments between you before he turns around with a small smile and pats the space beside him.
“C’mere,” he invites you over to his side.
Your feet seem to move without you realizing, and before you know it, you’re inches away from his face, now sitting beside him on the couch.
“I think love is a better way to put it. I love you, Y/N,” he confesses, which makes all the air from your lungs vanish.
His confidence is back, and it’s more attractive than ever. This man was going to give you a heart attack. You slap his arm playfully and clutch your chest.
“Mikey! You can’t just say that without any warning, I’m hanging by a string here, you’re gonna kill me!”
He laughs at your dramatics, a glint in his eyes as they meet yours.
“So? Whaddya say?”
“You’re so lucky I love you too, you idiot. Of course I’ll be your Valentine.”

sorry i’ve just stumbled across your blog after reading one of your lashton fics, but is it just me or is this fandom very y/n fic focused… (people say rpf is bad when y/n is RIGHT THERE) anyways from an outside view (i don’t want to be rude!) this fandom i think struggles with the fic fests and things because there are no “main” ships, if that makes sense. idk sorry you’re an amazing artist and it makes me sad you aren’t able to participate in all the fests you want!
so!! thank u for popping by!! im now going to disagree with pretty much everything you've just said!!
so, first and foremost, yes, I do think we have a large x reader population here (as is the nature of any rpf-based fandom) but I dont think that relates at all to fic fests, especially considering that none of the fic fests I've even seen done in this fandom have allowed x readers to participate.
And also, please don't come into my inbox talking shit about other writers ever, it's not cool <3 x reader is no less valid than slash fic <3 and it is quite simply just a matter of personal preference. No matter what, people are writing what makes them happy, and it's pretty shitty to talk down to it.
second - as I have said a plethora of times now - this fandom struggles with fic fests currently because of the lack of writers/readers and engagement. No other reason.
The fact that we don't have a main ship is actually what has, in the past, made fic fests so accessible and fun for everyone!! because we all get to write what we want!! and having no main ship actually inspires MORE community, not less.
third, I appreciate the concern for me but also I'm totally fine not doing fic fests! i don't really like putting deadlines on my writing, in truth, especially when im so busy in other areas of my life rn. Ive just been getting a lot of asks about it lately from other people expressing interest (which has really thrown me for a loop tbh lol) and I've been explaining why there aren't any being hosted right now.
HOWEVER, if someone wanted to host a fic event, i see no reason why they couldn't. No one's actively stopping them. It's just a matter of... would anyone want to join if they did host it? and, based on the interest form one of our previous fic hosts made earlier this year, the answer is no!! no one really has the time or motivation these days!! and that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

every day i laugh about how i followed you for your webcomic, and saw your yugioh art and was like "huh thats cool. i dont think i'll ever be into ygo but its cool to see art for it!" and then i fell assbackwards directly into the ygo fandom. and then i saw that you did tf2 art and i was like "huh that's cool. I'll never get into tf2 but the art is neat" and here i am drowning in how much i love tf2. do you have any other fandoms you want to try to get me into? anything niche?

And I can certainly list some fandoms/things I've gotten really into! I feel like my interests are kinda scattered, but if you like both tf2 and yugioh too, yours might be too lol :']
Now, the number of fandoms I've participated in is fairly small. To keep this list tolerably short, I'll only mention the fandoms I have or currently look up content for.
Big Fandom things you've def already heard of or might already be into:
Fallout 4/Fallout - Were you here during my Fallout4 phase? It was after tf2, I think lol :0 If not, Fallout in general has a great aesthetic, some fun lore, fun characters, and a pretty extensive fandom :0 I also really loved the game itself, and I suck at fps games :']
Stardew Valley - I haven't really dove into fandom for it, I just look at the pretty art :'] (Elliot my beloved,,,)
Balders Gate - It lived up to the hype for me, I've loved playing it ^^ Haven't participated in the fandom for it myself, but I know there's plenty of people who make plenty of good stuff. Great characters :'] I do wanna draw my player characters,,,
Undertale/Deltarune - Don't let the fandom scare you from the games if you haven't already played them :'0 they're so genuinely good
Steven Universe - were you,,, were you here during my steven universe phase,,, just ignore the infamous part of the fandom :'0 (I did not enjoy Steven Universe Future, the spinoff, I'm sorry if I missed the point but it missed me,,,)
Smaller Fandom things:
Castlevania on Netflix - All of the characters are exceptional, the animation is exceptional, the story is action packed but the characters have room to breathe. Isaac is my favorite character, hands down!
Dislyte - yeah,,, it's a gacha game,,, and I don't even know if it's a good one lol BUT hear me out: the character art and the settling/world concept is so good. There's so much room for good stories, I just wish the game would give us more than what it currently has :'0 I'm currently writing a fix-it fic for the main game story :']
Tiger&Bunny on Netflix - It's an anime with two seasons, and I believe there's been two movies, and there's a short manga add-on (it's an anime first, so the manga is supplemental) It's about superheroes that are sponsored by their network to fight crime. I really enjoyed the characters and world building :0 BUT IT IS CRIMINAL WHAT THEY DID TO LUNATIC MY BELOVED they'd better walk it back if season 3 happens
Petshop of Horrors - I... I don't know what to say lol it's an older manga, and it might not be perfect, but something about it just got me idk. It's def the most niche thing on my list that still fits the criteria of 'I liked it enough to actively try and consume fan content of it'

it pisses me off when people say that a boycott isnt going to do anything - so what??? youre telling everyone you dont give a shit about trying to make a difference when you disregard a boycott. at the end of the day, maybe a boycott does nothing, maybe it does something, but you are showing other people your character if you dont even wanna try. and that says a lot to me. like if you cant stop streaming your fav artists songs and buying their albums for a little bit for a CHANCE that it'll make a difference...your values are gross and you're spineless. talking about how you support palenstine doesnt mean shit if you dont put in effort to make a change, and honestly, not listening to some music on spotify for a little bit is NOT that big of a sacrifice. there are many pro palestine artists you can seek out and listen to. you can pirate. you can use youtube downloaders. there are so many options

yeah truly you are so right! no one can guarantee this boycott can work but it's not an excuse to not do anything! personally, i haven't been the same ever since i found out the big influence zionists have in the industry unfortunately and it did change everything for me and it made me want to make a difference! i don't want to buy albums and stream knowing that money will end up in these people's hands and it's truly just about being against their presence! they don't deserve to be anywhere for that matter and they are ruining music and directly and indirectly funding a genocide so if that information doesn't move a bit and doesn't make you want to do something to change then... something is wrong with you i am sorry. but it's like you said, at the end of the day, a lot of people are showing where their morals truly lie and what type of people they really are. it's not that i was expecting much from kpop stans but it's truly disheartening how some people indeed can't stand for anything and this is truly the bare minimum you can do if you can't do this and participate and at least have this conversation with us then... idk what to say
