y'all can stop sending me asks about whether i consider femboy a slur btw, this is stupid fucking discourse. just like any other label it is okay to use for yourself, be it as a gender non conforming guy, a non binary person or even a transfem, but just randomly applying it to other people is obviously shitty and can be done with derogatory intent. most use of the word, especially in queer spaces, such as on tumblr, is self describing or about people who self describe as such. you don't have to be comfortable with the term yourself, or with being called that, but that doesn't mean other people using it for themselves or referring to people who use it for themselves is somehow derogatory. we also don't have discourse about whether tomboy is a slur now do we?

SCOTUS RANT
So I live in the USA.
Today our Supreme Court ruled in favor of a web designer denying service to LGBTQ+ siblings for a wedding website.
This ruling sets precedent for businesses to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people without a second thought.
The court has been compromised by fascists that want us dead. Second class citizenship and discriminatory actions and laws are the first steps in any type of genocide.
THERE ARE NAZIS IN THE SCOTUS.
And I'm fucking livid. I'm emotional. I feel that these 6 justices should never have another day of peace in their wretched lives. They deserve the exact treatment they have doled out to one in five Americans.
People will die because of this decision. People will be beaten, harassed, assaulted, threatened, because this ruling is a green light for discrimination.
The world will be a better place when these justices die and are replaced. That day cannot come soon enough.
We must band together and stand against this. We cannot despair.
WE CANNOT DESPAIR.
We will stand up and fight this. Either in the streets or the ballot box. These fascists know that their time in power is limited, so they seek to sew as much chaos, hate, division, and cruelty as they can in the time they have left.
We are better. We are stronger. We are more united. There are more of us than them. There are more of us fueled by love instead of hate.
It's time we remind them that they are few, and we are many.

I’m trying so hard to trust the writers about the finale and how this is all going to end but I just can’t wrap my head around this entire story being built on love and these two people who have been shown again and again to only feel real when they’re together just... spending the rest of their lives separated. even if they individually find catharsis and healing from the whole fucking ordeal, spending the rest of their lives apart makes the whole story feel empty. not pointless.
