some kinda yan gamer, streamer "catboy/eboy/femboy" guy who posts stuff with lewd undertones. liek... i just love dudes being all pathetic and desperately trying to get yr attention but all u do is look at them in mild disgust........................ obsessed with that rn. ;;

like the dude uses :3 consistently. emoticon user, in a negative way. horny freak. he'd say you're best friends; slowly making your way towards a friends with benefits type deal, so desperately wanting to be those friends who r super touchy with each other, borderline fucking, but he doesnt wanna cross any boundaries by suddenly sitting on ur lap or cuddling into you, hugging you out of no where... you, on the other hand, would say you're friends, but that's a little bit of a stretch. its generous, is what it is. you find him weird and hard to be around, but he's a bit of a loner around campus ( surprisingly ) and you have a soft spot for the quiet type, thinking you should be the one to give him a chance. he gives you this weird vibe, like hes trying way too hard... like a little kid trying to impress. a bit cringe.. no?

ㅡyeah, it was. very much so.. trying to hype him up when he posts videos on his socials. trying so hard not to cringe at the thirst comments as he posts himself in a skirt, thigh highs, oversized hoodie, cat ears, and a black face mask.. congratulating him and telling him that he deserves it because he is quite pretty; words without love, you mean them with stony-platonic affection.

obviously he takes this the wrong way.. you first notice his affection for you ( it was quite obvious. ) after he continuously mentions this "friend" in his streams and posts, speaking so fondly. to say that it didn't make your heart flutter, would be a lie. you felt a bit honored, disgusted with yourself for feeling such a way - he was a suffocating person - smothering you in his popularity and trying to make you jealous, but how could you be if you were his friend he "spoke fondly" ofㅡ? you wouldnt know how to deal with that if he was your lover. embarrassingly enough, the thought does come up multiple times throughout your mind..

you can't help it. those thoughts, they intrude on your normal train of thought like a disgusting plague... you were one of his top supporters, not donor, as he did stream playing dating sims and the like... he'd gloat, definitely meaning to, telling you about all the weird shit they'd say about / to himㅡand he was totally imagining it was you telling him all that stuff.. wondering just how lewd you are, fingering himself to the thought of you watching in a dark corner of his room.,, weirdo. ( <- spoekn with love...... )

you try to open yourself up, making more friends to hangout with after noticing that he took up all of your time. when did that happen? what happened to all your other friends before him? you wonder, but not wanting to relight those candles... it would be awkward, having left them for one guy without even knowing it yourself..

"did i do something wrong?" he'd corner you at your apartment, pouting, eyes glazed over with tears of anguish - his face scrunched as if he were about to break out into sobs. "why are you.. avoiding me?" his voice pinched, and you feel a wave of,,, what, repulsion? he's making you uncomfortable, just a tad more than usual.. "i'm not avoiding you." you'd reply bluntly, lackadaisical, a front. "yes.. yesㅡyou are, i can feel it. i know you are!" a whiny voice that morphs into a low hiss.. "no... i just made new friends so i'm not spending that much time with you as i used to." you speak slowly, as if he were an idiot - his face darkening with an embarrassed flush; heart palpitating faster as he promptly closes his mouth from continuing. why did you sound so... hot? argh, you always sound hot, but... whatever, he already knew that he was crushing hard on you - he has the preserved cumrags, bottles with a printed picture of you inside to prove it...

after that, he would take the time off posting so much, a hiatus, and would begin focusing on his one-sided relationship with you... trying to lure you away from your new friends, quite easily and you have no idea how he does it - a manipulative bastard in a way as he begins to get a little too comfortable with touching on you without your consent, he doesnt listen anyway - pulling the "cute guy who can't get punched" card;; asking you questions if he wasn't enough for you. it wouldn't work out, as you would often ignore his stupid queries. it was draining.. but.. you realize, that maybe you were just jealous? your cute friend posting himself for everyone else to ogle at, even if they didn't know what his face looked like. you weren't the disgusting one here, he was. they were only thoughts - nothing you were going to act on. rather, he would act on them for you.

Yes you absolutely can!! Also, they're college age in this because I refuse to write high schoolers. They meet at a party.

Soap had no idea why he decided to go to this concert. He had never heard of the band, but he had needed to get drunk and this seemed like a good idea.

The place was packed.

Lot of people wearing dark clothing and sunglasses. Several of them had tons of gothic makeup on that made them look earie in the flashing lights. Soap had worn a jacket that he kept zipped up and jeans.

This was a bad idea. He felt like he stood out and not in a fun way.

Whatever. Just find where the alcohol is. Just find where the alcohol is and get wasted.

Soap notice a man with a skull mask. It was plastic and only covered the top part of his face, the bottom half exposed to show where they used black makeup to make it look like his mouth stretched to his ears.

His eyes caught Soap, a stunning green and Soap could see the flash of teeth when he grinned.

"Need something?" Accent was clearly from Manchester, but there was something in it. An underlying current of cold.

"What are you offering?" Soap tried to seem confident, still working to blend in.

The masked man tilted his head a little before laughing. "You're new. Can tell. You reek of fucking poser. And what's with the accent?"

Soap paused, getting whiplash. "Uh..." A hand fell on his shoulder and he almost jumped out of his skin.

Tall. This guy was fucking tall. "Tommy, stop being a dick. And you look like a loser wearing that mask."

"Get fucked, Simon." The guy hissed and stalked off.

Soap quickly pulled away and looked up. Shaggy dark hair, earrings and thick makeup around his eyes. The black shirt he wore hung tight to him and the rings he had on looked rather nice next to his tattooed arms. "Don't let him be mean to you. He's a pain in the ass." Same accent.

"You know him?"

"Unfortunately," Simon said it with the biggest fucking sigh, "he's my little brother. So don't be mean to him either. Hate to have kick your ass." He was smoking something and it definitely did not smell like a cigarette.

Soap was standing in front of one of the hottest guys he ever met after getting insulted and he wasn't sure how to feel about it. "Thanks for helping me out."

Simon shrugged, like this was something fun for him. If he was anything like Soap's older sisters, it might be. They made eye contact and Soap's stomach flipped.

"He was right though. You clearly don't really come to scenes very often. What brings you here tonight?"

Soap hesitated before sighing. "Had a break up recently. Wanted to get my mind off of it."

"Ah." Simon took a drag again before smiling. "Don't take anything else here. Mostly cheap party drugs that barely do anything." He said that while offering the joint to him.

Soap really shouldn't. It's not that he was above occasionally smoking weed or anything, but he didn't know this guy and had no clue if it was laced.

"Sure." He took it from him anyway though he kept it light, his eyes flicking over to see if there was some trick

Simon just took it back and they traded it back and forth before he eventually led Soap away from where they were as it got packed. His hand ended up on Soap's lower back somehow.

"So. When you're not trying to get over a break up and going to parties, what do you do?" Simon looked so genuinely curious and Soap liked the attention.

"Promise not to call you a poser?"

"Love. You are a poser." Simon laughed. "Won't hold it against you though."

Love? Love?

"I'm a football player. In college. The local one."

"Oh. I go there."

"I wonder how we've never met."

"I don't hang out with football players and I definitely don't dress like this. I also don't talk to strangers." Simon rather obviously looked him up and down. "Makes sense. You have a football player build."

"You're pretty fit yourself..." Soap decided to skip over the comment about not hanging out with football players.

Simon stared at him for a moment, eyes narrowing and Soap stared back. Such dark eyes. It felt like he got lost in them.

"Ever heard of shotgunning?"

"No. Can't say I have." Soap blinked up at him and Simon grinned.

"Want me to show you?"

Soap nodded before really thinking about it. Simon took a drag and then kissed him. Soap froze up but opened his mouth, feeling the smoke fill his lungs. Simon kissed him for way longer than necessary.

"Fun?"

"Y-yeah. Think we can do this again sometime?"

"Hmmm.... Still don't hang out with football players... But I guess I can make an exception for you." Simon had barely pulled away. Their noses were still touching.

"Maybe I can convince you to come to one of my games?"

"A bunch of guys throwing themselves at each other and kicking a ball around...." Simon said it so disparagingly, but that wasn't a no. Soap kept smiling at him and he sighed. "Maybe. You're lucky you're pretty." He pulled away.

Pretty?

"Forget about who you came here to forget?"

"Yeah. I think I did."

I think just in general Pink's personality can be pretty contrary to his appearance. He swears alot, he's somewhat irritable, he can be bitchy and sarcastic, he's down horrendous for like every man he's ever laid eyes on, he's depressed as all hell, more often than not his house is a mess, things like that. Also just his interest in horror. Also him being emo, he doesn't usually dress like it but say MCR within his earshot and good luck getting rid of him. Taking this man to Hot Topic is a disaster they got both worlds.

Aaaaa this is a bit more difficult because Pink is pretty firm in his personal set of morals. But I mean like if you wanted to be an emotionally manipulative asshole you could like become close friends with him and then threaten to leave if he doesn't do whatever it is. That'll get him.

She rummages around before coming back out and holding up a black headset with cat ears that functioned as speakers, and one in a pink-white styling. "Which one do you want for our matching fit tomorrow?"

Aphelios allows the guidance after rising from his seat; although it doesn't stop a dramatic hand being placed against his head as he was dragged away into the dungeon of his sister's room, never to see the light of day again! He falls into the comfortable seat with legs splayed, taking the time Alune needs to quickly steal a glance at his phone, get through about five posts before he's glancing up at the accessories in her grasp. A thoughtful thumb and finger stroke his chin, giving both of the headsets a chance paired with his imagining of Alune's look for the next day. Though, his gaze lingers on the black pair. But then it occurs to him, and an inquisitive brow rises along with protesting hands.

"... Wait, for me to wear? I already have my headphones." Aphelios takes a moment to shake the pair currently around his neck before continuing. "The look works without me dressing like an eboy. Animal ears are kind of Sett's thing already, anyway."

Silver Talks AniManga (16/04/23)

took it easy this week, so no crazy catch up like last one

things of note this week are the new pokeanime and Kill Blue, by the author of kuroko no basket

Anime

Pokemon (2023) Ep1 - 2

I've been asking for ash to get retired for a billion years so I was STOKED when they announced that was actually gonna happen. he still didn't deserve to become champion with all the cheating he's always done but it was inevitable if he was to get taken out back. but onto better things. the new pokemon anime! it's really good! I wasn't sure about it, since pokemon has been airing for 20+ years but it felt like a breath of fresh air. the animation wasn't animation to write home about, even the fight with charizard and ceruledge looked good but it wasn't anything crazy, but it had some fancy looking scenery shots. it's strongest point was riko and sprigatito tho, their interactions are cute and endearing. anyway there's more I could say but I waited to write this til I was done with manga, cause I finished ep 2 like right when the chaps came out, so forgot some of the stuff I wanted to say, but that's the basic gist of it. it's really good, if you like pokemon you'll wanna be watching it.

oh hey they got to the first scene that made me go "oh maybe this can be something special after all" in the manga, still nothing impressive in terms of animation but, again, the start is p chill til it becomes a battle series so we'll see

another good ep, still sticking very closely to the manga and nothing too special in terms of animation, but the sword fighting isn't bad also love seeing my lad gabi being such a wifeguy

fujimaki-sensei of kuroko no basket fame is back on jump! I really enjoyed robo x laserbeam when that ran some years ago (golf sports manga) but it ended up getting axed. kill blue is their newest series, based on their previous one shot with a similar name, like I mentioned in that news post some time ago. anyway, it's kinda like sakamoto and conan, a legendary assassin gets turned into a child and due to various reasons has to go back to school. the first chap was p decent, fujimaki's art is still great and the premise isn't bad so hoping for good things. hope it doesn't get stuck in the "old man goes back to school" thing and does some more stuff but I trust in fujimaki. also calling it here now that his daughter is gonna ge transfered to his class eventually, since they specifically mentioned she's around his (now reduced) age, so he'll get to interact with her and get to know her and become a better dad cause of that

A response to @cosmic-orchaid's submission

My problem with the whole George's inner demon thing isn't him having the inner demon being an explanation for his actions. I'm actually pretty fine with that. It's perfectly plausible that George having someone else's more developed inner demon may have, without his knowledge or awareness, influenced him into what he is today.

My problems with this inner demon thing are as follows (putting under a cut):

the lack of buildup

At no other point in the series was it ever hinted that George had an inner demon of any kind, let alone one strong enough to possibly influence him into acting the way he did.

For example, with Kagerou, before he was fully revealed we hints of it in Daiji's erratic behavior, him waking up dressed in the eboy outfit he didn't even remember owning, etc. With Lovekov, we actually get glimpses of her presence, such as right when Sakura admits her weakness. With Vail, we get stuff like Genta's not having a heart and him being affected by Giff's awakening in the same way his kids and their inner demons were.

With George? None of that. We just get told that his dad did this thing with little preamble, with nothing to even prompt him having to explain that he did it at all.

Like... why did he even decide to drop that bombshell then of all times, not any earlier?

the lack of acknowledgment of George's agency

With all this said, another thing that infuriated me about this explanation is how it brushes aside George's agency in all this, especially from before Chic made his presence and influence truly known. Imo, I can only assume that Chic wasn't manipulating/influencing George as directly, so George still had most of his agency intact.

In other words, he likely still recognized that he was doing some highly questionable things, but brushed them aside for one reason or the other. Whether it was to satisfy his curiosity by giving an unstable Daiji the TwoSiDriver, or whether it was to "obey orders" by letting Hiromi continue to use the Demons Driver to his detriment.

And because of the above-mentioned lack of buildup, it almost felt like the writers were just using Chic as a scapegoat for the choices that George made. "Oh, he did [insert super sketchy thing he did before the reveal]? His inner demon made him do it! He totally wouldn't do it if it were not for this inner demon we just introduced now!" is what it came off as, to me anyway.

the lack of consequences for George's actions

This is probably what really gets on my nerves the most. George does not get any sort of repercussion for what he had done, not just his actions as Juuga, but also earlier in the series.

Like... hear me out here, but if I had half a century shaved off my lifespan by someone letting me use a Driver that housed a demon that slurped it up like noodles, I wouldn't even think about being in the same room as them, let alone take them out for fucking parfaits.

If I had an inner demon that almost killed my family because you gave me a Driver knowing that my inner demon was going to take over and use it, I wouldn't even want to work with you, let alone trust you when there is literally no one else I could trust.

And if the same person taking out his daddy issues on my family resulted in a member losing their memories of us, I wouldn't even consider looking at them, let alone welcome them into my home for a fucking bath.

For fuck's sake... At least make him work for his forgiveness! Nothing he did is just something you can brush off with an apology, no matter how sincere it was!

He can't even use the whole Chic manipulation thing as an excuse because Olteca's in a straitjacket for the very same reason! And Hana was ready to turn herself in and spend her life in prison for what she did as Aguilera, and she's a kid! Why can't George display that kind of remorse and take responsibility?

Heck, I'd be happy if Hiromi gets to punch George's smug face in once.

To be honest, this is something that has been bothering me for a long time where Rider is concerned. Heroic Riders are sometimes just way too forgiving, and they would immediately invite an antagonist back into the fold just because some other more pressing concern turned up (or, usually, some worse villain).

Back when Build was airing, I opined on Sento forgiving his father- sure, guy was trying to save the world and all, but he also abandoned his wife and son for a decade, which led to the whole mess with Katsuragi becoming the Devil's Scientist to begin with. We have Dan Kuroto from Ex-Aid still running around years later despite being certifiably insane, and similarly Amatsu Gai of Zero-One despite committing what amounts to crimes against humanity. In Zi-O Sougo was so merciful as to give the Time Jackers new lives as his friends!

Like, seriously, I'm not really sure what they're trying to say here. I know Riders are supposed to be all-loving heroes but you gotta draw the line somewhere. Forgiveness isn't even supposed to automatically equate to redemption.

I felt Brandon taking all my reality and looks as I was transforming into the perfected jock. He was becoming a famous local jock as more of myself was merging into his DNA. He felt the newly popularity as his face became handsome. I was now nothing but part of his DNA.

Brandon felt the final bits of his new life finishing up. He knew now he was complete as he finally took that eboy for himself. His phone was bleeping away as everyone admired his latest upload of him sitting there looking away.

Brandon was now the hottest jock you could meet in town. He now got the looks, socials, body of a true jock.

Yet he had to give up his straightness as he was now a gay jock that only wanted to fuck any guy.

It's hard to see- but lloyd does have tear scars, I'm making a mental note to make them more prominent whenever I draw him. Oh and with him, he didn't get sent to the cursed rhelm! Instead he rotted in a fucking serpentine tomb with no way to escape for 40-50 years! fun. anyways, he kind of always looks like he's staring through others as a ghost and he doesn't care to have the common decency not to phase through someone when walking.

if you notice that the gis are inverted on the version of lloyd there is a point to that :)

(oh and the fade is just an idea I had, he just has two streaks to make sure the hair doesn't look like a black blob, also i think it's funny that a modern version of morro is an eboy. )

with the first one I just wanted to get down how I'll draw him using his powers. I headcanon that Lloyd uses more of the fire element when he makes his, while morro would use more of lightning. it's a fun multiverse thing because i can call back to him having wind powers in canon. (i mean hell, if wojira has wind powers and can use lightning, I'm going to call attention to it)
