My first playthrough of Slay the Princess was so funny bc I was like obviously I'm not going to kill her, but then the narrator forced me to so I tried to resist and got to the Prisoners chapter. Except I was like fuck you and tried to leave and got that scene where the world starts to fade and the Shifting Mound grabs you. I choose the "this is a nightmare" option. Got the denial achievement. Died. Got the "The Real Slay The Princess Starts Here (you'll know when you see it)" and I was like ???? No??? I am not seeing it what. But because I was back at chapter 1 I thought I got a game over. I wanted to try picking the other option I had when I tried to leave, but instead that broke the world and got me the Stanger chapter two. So I got to the fragmented cabin, meet the fragmented Princess(es) still not understanding what's going on.

I finally meet the Shifting Mound properly, except I thought that was only happening because I had broken the world. So I still didn't know what was happening, but back at ch 1 I wanted to recreate my choices because I felt I had accidentally stepped out of thay route. Except now when the narrator took control of me it wouldn't let me warn the Princess. That wasn't fair. So I was like okay I give up. Got to the tower chapter and now everyone was acting like I had chosen to slay the Princess of my own will which still wasn't fair and the Broken wouldn't stop sobbing. So I pledged myself to the Tower because screw you, I felt bad about killing her and also because I mean, come on.

Then I met the Shifting Mound again and was like oh, so the first time wasn't a fluke. And finally understood the game mechanics.

Confession. When I first saw ppl talking about the MCR tour I thought it was from ppl physically at the concerts and not from ppl watching them through a livestream. So when I went to LA3 I even told my friend that I wasn’t going to be able to liveblog like everyone else at a concert bc it’s hard to do and I didn’t realize livestreams existed until after the fact. I literally could have been watching MCR livestreams since the BEGINNING of the year
