Halfway through watching Alchemy of Souls season 1 and HOW
Just how do these people look at Jang Uk+ Mu-deok and think, "ah yes a master-maid hierarchy nothing to see here" after a certain point? Like seriously, HOW??
This boy is absolutely insane about her. Asks for her before and after every freaking thing and is constantly going Notice Me Senpai if she even looks at someone else. And she is equally insane about him to a subdued degree cause she will say I am doing this for my own benefit and then absolutely fold the second he looks at her and opens his mouth.
Then Jang Uk wins The Most important battle of his life and now everyone wants him cause he's The Hot Girl. EXCEPT THIS GUY turns around to his 'MAID' with stars in his eyes and is like, "Decide my future for me because at this point being Gaj-something isn't even a concern for me I just want you safe and by my side." AND DID EVERYONE JUST GO BLIND AND DEAF AT THE SAME TIME??

One of the things I love the most about Tim Bradford & Lucy Chen is that they are just simply a good example of what a healthy relationship should be and look like. And once they are fully out in the open, their relationship is going to FLOURISH.
They communicate honestly and openly with one another. They know what the other needs without having to be asked directly. Tim is always willing to step in if needed, but knows and trusts when Lucy says she has something handled. And Lucy knows when to step in when Tim is struggling from his emotional trauma in a way that doesn't bring attention to it, and with no expectation of any acknowledgement in return. Tim is constantly impressed and surprised by Lucy. You can just feel his pure happiness that he's finally got his person, his missing puzzle piece, and vice versa for Lucy.
One of the little details that I loved from this episode was Lucy showing Tim how to use the new coffee maker (he's of course totally impressed but can't show it fully), and then she gives him the mug of coffee she just made with no fanfare or fuss, like "it's okay, babe, I got you." It was such a small gesture, but filled with so much love. And I just *swoon.*
They love one another completely, flaws and all. They truly know each other "so well."
And, while I would have loved Tim to have swooped in like a knight in shining armor when Lucy got herself into that harrowing domestic call, I'm ultimately glad he didn't. Because Lucy has proven time and again that she saves herself and she doesn't need Tim to do that for her, which is again so healthy for the two of them.
I just love these two ding dongs and how well they compliment each other. I know you need conflict for drama or whatever for a television show, but I'm perfectly content with watching these two just gush over the other and be so totally happy and at ease forever. It's all I need, and they warm my little heart up so much. That might make for boring tv, but I don't even care, give me domestic bliss Chenford for a million more seasons.
Again, they are both such a goddamn delight, and brighten up my weeks. And I just love love love this show so much.

im finally completely caught up on 911 and ive only got a few episodes of lone star left and i think... i think, controversially, maybe i now prefer lone star ...
#no one is more surprised about this than me#a show where the main character is played by rob lowe over the show with buck in??#controversial truly#or maybe not controversial because i did that poll a couple weeks back and i actually think lone star won#so maybe its the normal opinion?#anyways the thing i hadnt considered was tk strand#and how he is perfect#also i watch these shows for the drama and the peril and the pining#and boy oh boy does lone star have a lot of that#(thats not to say 911 doesnt also have copious amounts of those things#just not quite as much)#dont get me wrong#i still absolutely adore 911#and i think its objectively the better show#and this could all just be because 1. i watched lone star more recently#2. i already knew every major plot point in 911 before watching whereas i didnt know any for lone star#3. i went into lone star with the lowest expectations so that fact that i loved it even any amount was a surprise#but like#i truly dont think ive been more entertained by a show in a long time#and i so deeply love almost all the characters in lone star and all the different dynamics and relationships#and tk!!#tk who is literally the blueprint of what i love in a fictional character#and you know#lone star has a dog#so thats a big bonus#ive reached the end of what lone star is on disney plus#theres only like 5 more episodes that need to put on there i think?#im debating whether i wait and enjoy the hype of weekly episodes for a bit#or whether i just track down the rest of the series now ...

I don't think I'm as into them as some people but I do like them a lot#the concept alone is so charming and it's a choice that establishes the show a bit from the original that I think works really well#Isaac's awkwardness and hesitancy to move things forward is SO relatable to my experience as a baby lesbian and I find it really endearing#Flower/Thorfinn- I'm not super into them I'm sorry 😭 I don't hate it but I also don't really feel the chemistry#although maybe this week's episode will change my mind!!#Pete/Alberta- oughh I didn't realize how much I loved their dynamic until I thought about it more#their opposites attract kind of thing is really cute‚ with Alberta helping Pete step out of his comfort zone#and alberta knowing she deserves someone a bit more stable who will treat her better than she was in life (she already knew this but still)#it's a shame bc they're probably the couple with the least chance of getting together 😭#Sasappis/Shiki- unfortunately there's not much they can really do :') however sass' shiki tree was adorable. what a dork#Sass/Jessica- cute while they lasted!! they weren't able to spend a ton of time on their relationship but it brought out a different side#of Sass that was fun to watch#Hetty/Trevor- absolutely hilarious. I never knew I needed it. I don't ship them in a capital r Romantic way but their chemistry is great#I'd rather see it stay just a fling tbh. also when the other ghosts find out it's going to be SO juicy I can't wait#last one- I really don't want to see the entire house coupled off. The ships are fun but also the friendships between the ghosts and how#they function as a group is the real heart of the show for me I don't want that to get lost.
