Gilbert smiles at the camera, “the other day was Lutz’s birthday! He had a good time, his friend Alfred came over and Grandfather helped them bake a cake!” He laughs, “it was actually an awesome cake. Grandfather’s good at baking and Lutz likes everything to be just right.”

Gilbert continues to talk, “Alfred’s older brother Matthew also came over, he’s my age and he’s really nice. I know he’s in my English class but we never talk really. We played some video games and he beat me at Mario Kart! I never lose at Mario Kart!” He crosses his arms and sighs, “though I just play against Francis mostly and Francis sucks at video games.”

“Maybe I need to play video games with more people besides Francis. Like Mathias!” He grins, “oh yeah! I never told you about the study date! It was nice, Mathias and I got our play written, he liked all of my ideas! And I was right, he did an awesome job as Macbeth!” He props his chin up on his hand and laughs, “he also said that I did a really good job too. And he added a part where Macbeth kisses Lady Macbeth’s cheek. I didn’t think it made a lot of sense to the story or scene but he explained how it fit in and I think it worked out alright.”

“He kissed my cheek too! It was weird, I don’t know if I liked it because it made me feel really nervous and he let me hold his hands after which was nice actually.” Gilbert sighs, “I think that Francis is right, I do have a crush. Mathias is just really nice and he’s so friendly and I want to hang out with him more! Maybe I should invite him over for video games. We still have some leftover cake.”

He turns to look at the clock on the wall behind him, “I’m going to ask Grandfather if I can invite Mathias over for the afternoon! Sincerely, Gilbert! I’ll tell you all about it later, okay?”

Gilbert smiles brightly as his computer before the camera clicks off.

Sorry this one's vague, but DenPru maybe?

Congrats anon, this is the first time I’ve ever written Denmark and this ship by extension in my entire life. I hope I’ve done them justice!

Pairing: DenPru/PruDen Rating: G! Length: ~340 words Content Warnings: They’re doing a bit of social drinking, I guess?

“Your aim is shit,” Matthias supplied helpfully as Gilbert’s dart embedded itself into the wall rather than the intended board.

Gilbert shot him a glare without heat and stepped back to take a drink while his companion took the stage.

“Albino, idiot. You should be thanking me. If I wasn’t blind as shit I’d be sweeping the floor with you.”

Matthias hummed doubtfully and he appeared unbothered by Gilbert oh so graciously endeavoring to preserve his ego. Bastard.

It wasn’t a surprise when he landed his three darts in quick succession but what was a surprise was the way Gilbert’s stomach did a flip when he turned to beam a shit-eating grin at him.

It must have been the Danish beer, he dismissed stubbornly as he took another sip of it and narrowed his eyes theatrically. 

“Congrats,” Gilbert drawled, eyes flicking up to meet Matthias’ face when he approached with that easy, confident swagger of his. “Not that this makes much difference, I’m already paying for your drinks tonight.”

They went back and forth like that, on the nights they hung out. One night Gilbert would pay, then Matthias the next. Which made the regular dart contests to see who would pay for the next round at the bar more of a farce than any genuine competition. It was good and easy between them.

Matthias was in front of him and his grin became altogether more cheeky, which Gilbert raised his brow at.

“I do have a better idea for my victory prize, actually,” he almost purred and Gilbert was having trouble blaming the shitty beer for the way he felt the tips of his ears prickle beneath Matthias’ attention.

Matthias was taller than he had any right to be but Gilbert was glad for it because it meant his size shielded them from the rest of the bar as he leaned down to capture his mouth in a sweet kiss… And it hid from the rest of the bar the way Gilbert laughed and returned it with a grin.

Let's get this over with, shall we?

“You never kissed a boy before?!”

In his already a little more than tipsy state Denmark almost fell off the sofa when he rolled over to look at Prussia, who was sitting in an armchair to his side.

“No! Got a problem with that?” Prussia snapped. His legs were lazily dangling over the armrest as was the upper half of his body over the over one when he took another sip of his beer, waiting for an answer from Denmark. Or a participation in the conversation by England, who was already lying on the floor, limbs spread out like a starfish on the carpet.

“No!” Denmark claimed and swirled the last sip of his beer in the bottle as he contemplated his next words. “Just.. unexpected.”

England giggled at that, his friends taking it both as a sign that he’s fine - or at least hasn’t passed out yet - and that he’d definitely had too much to drink already.

“And I’ve never kissed any girls either if you must know!” Prussia added and finished his beer in a few big gulps before putting the bottle down onto the floor where it fell over with a clatter.

Headcanons for Prussia and Denmark being friends?? :0 !!

Listen. Those two are chaotic friends. They don’t care that their history was rough, they’re good friends! They’re the kind that you would see daring each other to do absolutely ridiculous things, anything from... Eating grass (Looking at you, anon who sent this-), to making the smallest possible controlled harmless explosion. They get drunk plenty, often competing and having drinking competitions which they always regret in the mornings. Oh, and everything’s a competition for them. Catching a bus or something? Competition. Boiling an egg? Competition. It’s very annoying to anyone around them but it’s all in good fun, really. Both of them are hyperactive to a level or another, so they can tolerate each other’s energy better than anyone. They like to watch horror movies and get scared together, yelling and cursing at the screen when some jumpscare pops up, and on occasion making fun of it to make it less scary. Oh, and both of them are terrible at anything romance-related, Prussia’s just plain awkward with it, while Denmark always tries and fails miserably, so they’re trying to educate each other and it’s amusing to watch. They refuse to take romantic advice from anyone else, obviously. However, all jokes and fun aside, they do care for each other deeply, and do get concerned and try to help out one another in times of a problem. It’s rare that they argue in the present time, and find themselves apologising for conflicts of past. So, overall, it’s a very healthy and good friendship!
