I feel like I liked the overall message of the episode (being, you can‘t live without causing harm but there are ways to reduce the harm you cause) but I didn‘t much like the episode itself? Or I just did not care about it much.. they hyped it up so much I expected something great but it was just more of the same to me.
Everyone treating Morty like shit for trying to be ethical.. I‘m tired of that. We‘ve seen him destroy planets by trying to help countless times, it gets boring and just mean. Didn‘t see much character development in this episode. It‘s just a classic example of focusing on the message instead of the characters and using the characters as tools to convey that message. It‘s ok and it‘s something the show does, they just usually aren‘t my favorite episodes.
I also didn‘t care for the montage. I understand why it affected people emotionally, but it didn‘t do that for me like, I don‘t know these people I didn‘t care about their story so to me it was just long and boring
Just my initial thoughts. Gave me season 4 vibes kinda. Don‘t love it don‘t hate it, just don‘t care much

Everyday i think about this screenboard scene that got semi-scrapped from Donnie vs Witch Town, like it just explains so much about Donnie as a character and i’m very sad we didnt get to see it entirely

I have finally finished O Segredo Na Floresta.
I have cried more than I thought possible.

Does the whole 'bigeneration' thing as an introduction for Ncuti Gatwa make anyone else feel icky? Because I definitely feel like they did Gatwa dirty with a botched transition between regenerations because people are getting a liiiiiiittle too nostalgic with the whole RTD/Tennant thing.
Tennant is a brilliant actor, and I'm not trying to downplay everything he's done for the show, but by leaving Tennant alive, they robbed Gatwa of an introduction that shows respect to his iteration of his character, instead leaving him to be the Random New Person while The Real Doctor is yet to come into the completion of his arc.
It's just a disappointing diversion from giving Gatwa's Doctor the focus and development he deserves.
#and yes I KNOW that there's probably going to be a proper regeneration next episode if I got all the lore stuff right#and then Gatwa's going to go back to bigenerate from Tennant and All Will Be Well#but it's still weird??? that he wasn't just given the chance to Become on his own#but instead had to spend the last however many minutes of his own introductory episode comforting a white guy#instead of literally anything else#doctor who#the giggle#doctor who the giggle#Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa#the fourteenth doctor#whichever one that refers to by this point

my verdict on ark is that dt is like. the only celebrity voice actor in it that is doing a really good job but i forgive it bc the rep is pretty good
#episodes 1 and 6 were the best 2-4 were kind of boring 5 was good for the meiyin content#the art/animation are pretty good (like it's a cut above tlovm/invincible standards)#However i think the characters are a little underutilized. like rockwell especially what the hell is his deal i want his backstory so bad#i also want to know more abt the past connection between rockwell and meiyin. he was part of the rebellion and BETRAYED her#can we delve deeper into that.. that kind of drives me crazy can we see more between these two#also i'd like it if the show focused more on helena's personal struggles and flaws. i LOVE the look into her backstory on earth#like w her wife and her mom. but i'd like to see more of like. how that backstory affects how she views the world#they do this really good w the side characters meiyin especially i just wish . like.!!! helena struggled w anxiety/depression#she was so dependent on victoria for like any sense of stability can we like. See More Of That#can we see her and meiyin be codependent toxic yuri . for me. for fun#overall.. i think it's alright of a show 7/10 i need to see more of it to deliver my verdict fully#cuz in the next time trailer there's bits of rockwell backstory and Please Give It To Me

To celebrate Hazbin Hotel dropping today, I thought that I'd share an Angel Dust drawing I did!
Angel was my favourite character in the Pilot (though Charlie is a close second), and I am so excited to see more of him in the show!
Some ramblings under the cut
I was watching a tutorial for Angel's dance routine at the beginning of the Addict music video that was done by the storyboard artist who boarded those scenes, and I felt inspired.
I'm much newer to this fandom, considering I only started Helluva Boss in late December last year and only watched the pilot for Hazbin Hotel earlier this month, but I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the world!
I unfortunately do not have Amazon Prime, so I can't watch anything beyond the first episode, but I absolutely LOVED that first episode and I am so ready for more!
