#marquilla#me at 4am: lmao idk why they bothered salting the parking lot the storm is passing us anyway#me at 8am nearly falling on my ass in the snow in the parking lot: nvm#hot take but i think that having the traction control system on when the roads are slick isnt a good thing bc it makes me nearly spin out#every time. and i tested it too. i tried driving halfway with it on and halfway off and i could turn corners and more importantly STOP safer#than when i didnt turn tcs off.#i know it works by slowing and stabilizing the tire losing traction but like it feels like that works against you if youre turning bc then#your car is swinging essentially like lets say it's only on the right wheels. tcs comes on and you stop now youre car is turning clockwise#from the momentum of the non traction affected tires#and if it's all the wheels then you skid forward#im sure it has helped people and im sure it probably saved lives but motherfucker i nearly took out four mailboxes on a main road#bc i turned AFTER A COMPLETE STOP MIND YOU so it wasnt my momentum of the car being in motion and taking too fast a turn#idk i just find that when i see that little fucker come on that i have about a 40% chance of it killing me#anyway it snowed and we got like 4in lol
