they were a birthday gift from my two dearest friends in the world!

i made their shirt out of a sleeve of a sweater, and i have a bandanna that matches theirs. i also put some patches on their pants and made them a belt out of a piece of ribbon :3

that rainbow bracelet was actually mine when i was a little kid, and i found it recently and gave it to them since it doesn't fit.

their favourite music is Owl City and their favourite food is ramen!

Starting from the Eldest Cousins:

Aym and Baal, Narinder and Forneus' sons. Were functionally immortal in Narinder's realm then made officially immortal upon rescue. SEVERAL hundred years old.

Aym has not exactly chilled out, but he does spend many hours sparring with the youngins and teaching them things he finds interesting because "no one else is going to do it good enough, obviously >:(". (Definitely doesn't care about the little beans. Not at all.)

Baal has become a wanderer of sorts, often taking Aym with him but mostly going on his own as of the past couple decades. He has taken to painting, to capture all the people and colors and sights he didn't get to see for most of his life. He also has gained some medical knowledge and sometimes works as a low-level doctor.

They're the adult cousins who were adults before any of the others were born, so they're often treated more like surrogate uncles than cousins

Hannah, Heket's daughter. Named after her other mother. Frog woman who looks like a toned-down version of her mother, and is a more yellowy-orange.

Given her own immortality and how long she's been alive, she is a young adult-type. Self-assured, and well aware of what she wants. Always spoke on Heket's behalf growing up bc of how painful talking was. So now not only is she willing to let anyone know what she thinks, she'll let them know what her mother thinks, too. She's exceptionally good at being the voice for others

The Lamb figured out how to share portions of his power, given that he took all of the gods' power and was the only one kicking for a hot minute, and was able to over time give her enough power for her to take on Heket's crown with minimal issue and has started ruling Anura in her place.

That's a tough job, bc the residents have gotten used to the past few hundred years of having to answer to no god but the Lamb, but there have been dangerous powers wreaking havoc there and there needs to be a consistent, steady hand

Wave, Ocean, and Shore

(They/Them, They/Them, She/Her)

Kallamar's three older kids, who all hatched in very short succession. Technically they're in the same age order as their names, but there's less than a year's difference between Ocean and either of their siblings, so it barely matters. (Kallamar got the Lustful trait in my game, and so he is like that in this AU too. He has a Few kids) They're very young adults, and all mostly-mortal. They have life-doubling necklaces, but none of them currently want godhood or full immortality.

Wave has fully moved out and runs a school in anchordeep. They're an axolotl with Kallamar's color scheme. They were given their father's relic ear as a parting present, which they wear on a chain around their neck. They are patient, a good listener, and helped Aym teach the cult children things before they left to do similar elsewhere. They swim as a passion.

Ocean is a coward like Kallamar, and also buff as hell because they spar and exercise to redirect their constant anxiety. Being super tall and super buff is a natural fighting deterrent, so they don't have to worry about being attacked much. Which is good, because they might run away if someone did. They're a light blue otter.

Shore looks just like her father, but with big circular glasses and certain details toned down to make her look a lil more mortal. She's incredibly good at picking up a variety of tasks- a jack of all trades. She especially loves building. Her current project is completely redoing their cooking station for convenience and efficiency. She doesn't want to leave the cult because this is safety, this is home. And also because there's a yellow starfish boy her age that she's kind of sweet on.

Bunbun, Narinder's only child with his wife Hoppy. She, like Hoppy, is a rabbit, but black like Narinder instead of white like her mom. She's gradeschool age, and has a strong sense of How The World Should Be. She's also incredibly stubborn. But if she likes you, she's the best friend you'll ever have as an 8 year old

They're six and they like to collect rocks. They also love collecting seashells to "hear the ocean" through. It's very cute

when i think of peter, i think of classic teddy bear. he’s not really a stuffed animal guy, but either the guys convinced him to go, or it was a gift from dana. either way, it sits on his bedside table :)

she’s cute, she’s classy, she’s a girlboss and we love it. also her fur is very soft and that would come in very handy for our favorite secretary, who is probably stressed from all the phone calls.

Well, let’s move up to floor two -- after a quick close-up of Victor’s cauldron and Smiler’s Tetris-frogs display (Frogtris?), that is. Up there we have:

-->More rugs, as promised! Smiler’s party room got a nice complement of rugs (actually, three of those are one item from the Toddler Stuff pack! The trio came in so many fun colors I had to use them; the fourth rug is one I was gonna put in their room before I found one with a swatch I liked better); the upstairs landing got TWO colorful rugs; and both bedrooms got under-the-desk rugs. Rugs everywhere!

-->More pet stuff as well -- cat tree in the corner there, another litter box outside the two bathrooms, and a trio of pet beds -- two in Victor and Alice’s room, one just outside Smiler’s bedroom (I was gonna put it inside, but rearranging everything in there made it so it didn’t fit).

-->Smiler’s former party room is now Victor’s seance room! Complete with bat wallpaper and the bat-winged ceiling fan from @the-crypt-o-club‘s 2020 Simblreen pack, Creepy Creations (also the source of Smiler’s yellow-and-black striped suit!) I initially wasn’t sure what to put in it besides the seance table itself, but then I figured it could be used as a display for some of the magical items Victor’s picked up -- hence the spare broom on the wall, and all those familiar orbs he isn’t using in the curio. Also put Alice’s collected crystals in here, and the bizarre idol for safekeeping. Still felt like the room needed a bit more purpose to it, though, so I threw in a rocking chair and a meditation stool. *shrug* It’s a bit slapdash at the moment, but it does the job!

-->As stated previously, I redid all the bathrooms! Mostly because I was looking at the furnishings already in there and realizing a couple of them were listed as “Uncomfortable.” Now that won’t do! So both now have better toilets; proper counter sinks with soap dishes and toothbrush cups; and nicer mirrors and a bit of Plumbella’s artwork. I also gave Victor and Alice’s bathroom a nicer shower, and Smiler a nicer tub. It’s basically all just nicer, okay?

-->Moved around some paintings and collectibles and suchlike -- all of Victor’s little statues are now on the shelf he built in Granite Falls (painted white), and their collection of fossils on Smiler’s suitcase shelves (also from Cepzid’s “Arcade Stuff) -- Victor recently got a raptor claw. :D

-->Victor and Alice’s room got a touch of a makeover, with me using all the slots on their new Ivybell desk to put in some more decorations. Like a nice snowglobe, the Dragon Dragonfly Victor caught in Granite Falls, and A DIGITALISTIC SKETCHPAD BECAUSE I KEEP MEANING TO GIVE VICTOR ONE. *sigh* I have so many things I keep meaning to do with this lot and I just FORGET. . .

-->Speaking of which, Smiler’s room got a BIG makeover, mostly because I went “hey, yeah, wasn’t I going to have them do videos online?” and started looking to see if I could fit the video production station in there. Turns out I could! And that led to them getting a desk upgrade in the other corner, and rearranging all their collectibles a bit (including putting the space rock and Hoppy the MySim in their room), and getting a new smaller dresser, and -- a lot happened here to fit in the new video station! But it’s here, and Smiler is ready to make video content.

And that’s basically all the most important stuff! Like I said, things may still change in the house, but I’m pretty happy with this for now. :) Next time, we catch up with the actual SIMS again as they get used to the new digs and start making some animal friends!

Something went squish beneath his foot and Fëanáro stopped short and closed his eyes and prayed to whatever Vala might be listening that he had not just stepped on another one of the Ambarussa’s pets. The animal would have died quickly, if so, but the last time one of their myriad squicky things had gone missing, oh sweet stars, wailing and tears and accusations and dramatics for days. And then the lizard’s tail and bits of skin had been found where Huan slept and of course Turko had taken the side of his beloved dog and it was the first time since the twins were born that they had been angry with him and they had given him and the usually-adored pup the silent treatment for months.

Fëanáro tried to think. What was the current animal du jour? Ah. Tadpoles and pollywogs. The boys had decided to see if they could raise frogs and toads from spawn to adulthood. They were on their third batch – their first one was happily hopping around the house and competing for bugs and Yavanna knew what else – and if Fëanáro found small amphibians swimming in his forge water one more time, well. He wasn’t sure precisely what he’d do but it would be drastic.

But if he had stepped on one of the innumerable hoppy-things that were currently denizens of the house (and the garden and the pond and his forge and probably Nerdanel’s workshop although she claimed she had a secret to keeping them out but she had merely smiled slyly when he had rather desperately asked what it was so he very much doubted that she did), then perhaps there was hope that the twins wouldn’t notice that one was missing.

…on the other hand, they had put differently colored dots on the backs of each creature in the first batch, so it was completely possible they would realize it was gone. This was a gloomy thought. He would have to bribe them with something. Perhaps a wind-up toy frog that would hop and croak and not go squish if stepped on inadvertently (or advertently, his boys had been known to do such things in fits of pique before, although of course this carried the risk of further outrage and revenge, and so was discouraged.) He rather glumly mused that this idea would probably be met with scorn.

Bracing himself for the likelihood of half a year’s worth of tantrums, Fëanáro lifted his foot and peered tentatively at the substance squished between his toes.

…oh. It was just a baked apple that had fallen out of somebody’s pocket after breakfast.

~Just had a lovely visit from a local froggy from the garden. He was knocking on the sliding glass door, and so I brought him in for a brief respite, and to say hello! 👋😊

After chasing the hoppy fellow about the house for a bit (in 2 foot increments at a time!), I gave him a quick rinse and lots of endearing smiles before releasing him back out into the night.

Color me blessed! 🙌

The Frög Family is growing! I found a Hoppy Swirls on eBay (unstuffed) to match Esther, the mini, and I named them Capris! After they arrived today, I cleaned them up a bit, and off to BaBW we went to have them stuffed!

As always, the staff was very kind and helpful. This was my first time adopting an unstuffed BaB online. I didn't learn until recently they will stuff or re-stuff BaBs you already own. That's so neat! Buying them unstuffed didn't particularly appeal to me previously, but I can see how it's useful when doing so used for cleanliness purposes, especially if one is a bit older.

I didn't have a vision for who Capris would be before I found their outfit. I hadn't noticed this amazing two piece set online, and it was a fantastic surprise in store. It feels a little late 80s/early 90s, kind of a Vaporwave, sitting by a pool vibe, right? It immediately made me think of Capris Sun and also for some reason that men's cologne that was unnaturally blue?

Capris is definitely a chill, summer frög who listens to a lot of City Pop and drinks fruity beverages. That's my read so far.

I also totally forgot to post about Quilt, my Hoppy Colors/"Color Block," when I got them the other week! I adore both Quilt and Capris equally. Bubbles, the Spring Pink was the first, maybe a couple years ago or less(?), and Esther followed not long after. That reminds me--I need to figure out their birthdays!

I keep track of my all my plushies' names in a note app, and then I slowly transfer their info into a database I created a while back. I'm super behind on it, but it's so helpful! I input where they are from, what type of plush they are, etc, and I save a photo of them in it for reference. I highly recommend it!

Nothing says Happy Holidays quite like frogs.

Wait, what? Frogs?

Yes, frogs! The Rein Frog is new this holiday season on Xanje. They are the cutest amphibians you'll ever find under the tree. Their name comes from the stripes down their sides, which folk say look like harness reins.

They are a fairly common stray and easy to find, so you can collect the numerous colors to your heart's content. I have over 150 already! They also have lavender, purple, and silver variants, so I better get busy breeding!

Second, with the upcoming Wild Update, what is your opinion on frogs? Do you have a favorite (irl) frog?

My personal favorite are the teeny tiny ones whose species I don’t know but I liked seeing them vibing on the sides of the trailer where my Latin class was held in the mornings. I also like poison dart frogs, they’re so colorful!

I think wild frogs are cute, but I don’t know that much about them! I liked poison dart frogs when I was younger because of their bright colors—there’s this one that is black and blue that I personally think has a very cool color scheme, for example. but I don’t know enough about frogs to have a favorite one!

I am excited for them to come to minecraft though. cute hoppy little fellows.
