This isn't going to be anything fancy, just a little something for fun.

This is calm, and it's, Doctor.

After buttoning up my white blouse, I looked up at myself in the mirror. Accepting my appearance, I nodded at myself in the reflection. I checked the time, looking down at my watch, 8:43, "Plenty of time to get a coffee before my interview." I thought aloud, grabbing my keys and wallet whilst heading out the door.

Pulling into the car park, I checked the time again, anxiety eating me up at the thought of being late, 8:55. I pulled the keys out of the ignition and got out of the car. Hitting the lock button the the key fob, I watched as the lights flicked once, signalling the car was locked.

I headed across the car park bad into the building. There was a surprisingly small amount of people for the time that it was, but that didn't bother me, just meant I had less time to wait for a coffee. I hopped in line, internally going over my order.

Once I reached the front of the line, the words I spoke did not make sense, indicated by the cashier who furrowed her brows whilst tilting her head with confusion.

I took a breath, "I'm so sorry. I have a job interview and I'm super anxious," I had to stop, I was embarrassing myself with my nervous rambling, finally getting back on track to ordering my coffee, "one large cappuccino, extra shot and two sugars, please." The cashier rang me up, ignoring my rambling. As I went to pay a guy around my age called from behind me,

"I'll get it!" I turned around, confused and flustered. He looked down and smiled, walking up next to me.

'Do I know him? No? Why would a stranger buy some random person a coffee?' I thought to myself not really comprehending the scene that just unfolded. I moved to the side and out of his way, so I wasn't in his elbow room.

I was looking at him, studying him almost, maybe looking for too long.

He stood almost a foot taller than me (5'4"). His slender body was dressed in suit pants, a button up shirt, a sweater vest that looked like someone triple his age should be wearing and a pair of low converse on his feet. His cheekbones so sharp, his hair, loose sandy-brown curls and his lips, plump but noticably dry.

He looked at me, walking in my direction after he had paid. He walked past me, smiled and was met by another man, a bit older than himself.

This man, slightly shorter, but muscular, a shaved head and stubble on his face, was wearing a tight grey tee, black jeans and black shoes. I was watching them both greet each other whilst walking toward them. I stopped just short of the two, but not too close.

Still trying to wrap my head around what hd just happened, I was interrupted by the older guy interjecting himself,

"Reid told me that he bought you your coffee," he seemed almost excited, looking over his shoulder you see the taller guy turn a light shade of red and avoid eye contact, "guess you're waiting with us! I'm Derek!" He pushed his hand out toward me and I took it, a bit firmer than he was expecting,

"y/n."

"Reid, this is y/n, you should maybe at least know the name of the person you just bought coffee for." He giggled to himself while introducing us.

Reid didn't offer a hand to shake, but he wasn't being rude about it. He seemed timid and shy, I didn't press it or offer a hand to shake, not wanting to make him uncomfortable.

Reid asked me, "what's your interview for?" Genuine curiosity was spoken as I remembered everything that had just happened not a moment ago.

"I'm interviewing to transfer, hopefully," taking in a sharp breath, "I work in internal investigations with the FBI, and I've been studying criminology and taking a keen interest in human behaviour on the side. I've finally graduated and I applied for the Behavioural Analysis Unit -or- BAU, I've been keen to get into the BAU ever since I heard about it. So when I got the phone call that I had an interview, I couldn't contain my excitement..." Holding my tongue to stop me from blurting any more out I watched the guys look at each other, making eyebrow wiggling gestures, almost as if having their own non-verbal conversation. I was sure I had scared them.

The barista calls out "Reid!" and we all walk to the counter. Derek hands me mine and asks me what time my interview is.

I confirm, "Nine thirty." And checked the time on my watch, Derek does the same.

"Good luck and may our paths cross again..." He smiled, offered me another handshake, which I gratefully accepted. Looking over at Reid, whose hands were conveniently full with a cup tray, I nodded, "Thank you. I, too, hope our paths cross again. You guys seems lovely." I looked between them and Reis pressed his lips into a smile before they both walked past me and toward the door.

As they were leaving, I couldn't help but watch them. Reid looked back at me, looking confused and most concerned, looking back at Derek he said a few words, but they were too far away to hear. Derek just shook his head and patted Reid on the back as they left.

I took a sip of my coffee and soon headed out myself. After unloading about my anxiety onto those guys, I could breathe easier and I felt great.

I jumped in my car, popping the coffee into the cup holder and started in my way. On the drive, I couldn't help but think back to what Derek has said.

'May our paths cross again..." Lingering on the thought, he was smirking while he said it.

'Did it mean anything?'

6 Things I Want To See At The Nintendo Direct

After nearly a year and a half, we are finally getting another full on, Nintendo Direct. I am one among many who thought the Direct as we knew it was gone, but I am also so very happy to be wrong. While I’m also one to not put any expectations on a presentation like this, and please do not let this list hype you to the point where you are disappointed if they don’t happen, I can’t deny how fun it is to speculate. So, with only a little less than 12 hours to go before the show begins, let’s talk about 6 things that will hopefully be at the show. Please remember my lists are not ranked based on how much I want something or how popular it is, so much as how much I want to talk about it. That means your favorite possible thing can be in the first, or last spot of the list. Now let’s begin.

6. A Zelda Collection of some kind

There are a lot of important anniversary’s in 2021 for games, and none may be more important to many fans than Zelda itself. The series is turning 35 in four days if you can believe it. Mario got a lot for it’s recent anniversary and while it’s pretty likely something is planned for Zelda, getting a good idea of what that might be, would be nothing short of fantastic. Perhaps we’ll see Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, and something completely out of left field to round it up. Who can really say, but it is absolutely the perfect time to announce something, and something big at that. Nintendo does love to surprise people, so let’s hope something surprising pops in.

5. Falcom get’s some much needed attention

Falcom, one of the oldest developers in Japan, has been releasing hit after hit, after hit, but like many other fantastic developers making the best double A experiences, they’ve never really made it into the limelight like they deserve. With two games coming for the Switch YS IX: Monstrum Nox, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV set to come out in April and Summer respectively, and with so many eyes on Nintendo, it’s time they got a proper slot to be talked about. It would also be nice to see something new come from Falcom that isn’t previously announced, as even though the focus of the direct is seemingly about the next 4 months leading up to E3, hints of something more are always possible. Falcom is a brilliant developer, so hopefully, they manage to get their time to shine.

4. A Sonic Collection of some kind

Sonic is yet another franchise that’s hitting a major anniversary, as it’s turning 30. With that kind of history behind it, Sonic has a lot of ups and downs. Surely more than enough to make an enticing collection. to be...sure. Perhaps a remake of Sonic Adventure 2, a remaster of Sonic generations and maybe a fixed version of Sonic ‘06? Wouldn’t count on that last one especially, but Sonic has such a rich history of games it could pull from that could get everyone hyped. There’s also rumors of another 2D Sonic game, which would also be nice, but what’s an anniversary if you don’t target nostalgia in more ways than one? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon.

3. Something Indie

While Nintendo has had some...issues with quality checks with the Switch, there’s no denying that it’s absolutely got hundreds of amazing Indies, and that the Switch is a great source for them. A couple of possible exciting indies could be Windjammers 2, Atomic Heart, Mineko’s Night Market (please gawd let’s hear about that one) Sports Story, Hollow Knight Silksong, Eastward and Garden Story to name but a few. Indie games need love just as much as any other game out there, and with so many potential high quality indies coming our way so far as plans go for 2021, it would be a sad thing to miss out on some spectacular games that are headed for the Switch.

2. The next Mainline Pokemon game

Rumors were abound a few weeks ago that Pokemon’s 4th gen was already set to be remade for release this fall, 2021, and while as I’ve said this direct is planned and meant to tide us over until Summer when E3 comes along, it doesn’t change the possibility that something coming out past that point, if not several somethings will still be given an update or announcement. I think it’s safe to say based on the hype of the rumor that for a lot of people, Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum are top tier games and in a lot of ways, and rightly so. Sure, they could use a good number of updates, but that’s what remakes are for, and while a Pokemon direct on Pokemon day itself would suit just fine, I feel if something is coming for Pokemon 25, this is the time to get it out there. Just please, don’t throw in any DLC Pokemon you get for buying a special item.

1. Metroid/Bayonetta/Breath of the Wild 2, get something.

Am I mashing a whole bunch of entries into one, yer damn right I am, otherwise I’d be here until the direct started, and where would the fun in that be? Jokes aside, these franchises all of have been lying kind of dormant in the mainline entry department at the very least, and while it’s like I said, something for Zelda is going to be announced mostly likely anyways, to see a continuation of that as we look to the future for the series would be amazing. It would also be nice to see Metroid Prime 4 get an update, or see the original trilogy hit the Switch. Bayonetta 3 is the Devil May Cry of Switch these days despite having DMC on it, and darn it all, it’s time we got SOMETHING for it. Sure, none of these games are coming out before the holiday season this year and that’s fine, but just to know they are on their way, would be good enough.

Raihan taking pictures with ash having fun with friends, raihan social media followers didn’t know who’s that person with raihan, many followers thinks that raihan best friends just like Leon and others just ship it with raihan and ash as a joke/fanfic

This honestly got away from me very quickly, so have this basically fic that does really keep to the ask.

They were out on some camp sight, Ash’s property he got through his grandpas will that he never touched until last summer when his mom reminded Ash about the property. it was just Ash, his closest friends, their significant others, and Raihan.

Over all it was good. He couldn’t remember a time when he went camping-camping. Like without constant training and devising a way to kick Leon’s ass which he never ended up doing but that’s besides the point. They even brought three awesome Malibu Boats between the semi large group. Most people were paired off into to their respective partnerships or friends pairing up for the night. Raihan was with Ash and they had a good system down.

Raihan is usually placed on the supper side of the two sleeping bags that were dipped together to creat one large one because then Ash wouldn’t accidentally open it up while they were sleeping and stumble off the air mattress and onto the cold floor. Raihan also cornered him to the side of the tent and the past two nights they’ve been essentially cuddling, which they didn’t mind since both were naturally warm and Unova nights can get pretty cold out in this dessert... forest?

Over all they started to slowly stick more around each other. Raihan taking a bunch of pictures and Ash happily joining him when ever he asked. It got to the point where Ash would either slide into Raihans lap or side without prompting when he saw the Rotom Phone flying around Raihans head. It honestly felt good holding Ash by his side and Raihan refused to look at May and Misty’s pointed eyebrow wiggles as they cuddled through the trip. It’s also gotten to the point where, at night by the fire, Ash would pad over with the s’mores stuff and happily sit his cute little butt down in Raihans lap.

Internally Raihan is freaking the fuck out slightly, wanting to either pull Ash closer and kiss the top of his head all over or kinda push him away and go to their tent because Raihan is definitely sure a boner is gonna pop any second, outwardly Raihan keeps his face in his phone and raises a hand to hold onto Ash’s hips as the shorter male kept wiggling about. Getting comfortable while also setting s’mores crackers, chocolates, and peanut butter cups on one of his legs Liz neutral look on his face forced on, especially when Ash did a hard grind against his hips as he wiggles about to get even more comfortable. Inside Raihan was dying, though that didn’t stop him from raising his phone a little and pointed the super HD lense at the smaller one in his lap.

“Hey Ash?” Raihan rumbled. Keeping his voice down because it looked like Brock was dozing off with Olivia happily tucked in his side and fast asleep as well.

“Whu?” Ash spluttered. Desperately trying to swallow the mouthful of a s’mores that he just made and turned to look at Raihan.

“Smile.” The gyn leader grinned. Trying to not sound dreamy as Ash gave Raihan one of his most stunning and happiest smiles Raihan had ever gotten out of him. “Thank you.” He reached out. Gently caressing Ash’s back and smiling a little when Ash lent back a tiny bit, arching his spine to press more into Raihans palm before returning to his s’more that Pikachu had tried to steal without its trainer noticing.

Raihan was angled enough that neither anyone sitting besides him on lounging chairs would be able to see his phone screens. Not like they would anyways because Zoey is trying to silently argue with Dawn that four s’mores is already enough and Gary was sleeping in Tracey’s side, one of the firsts to go down and even before the sun had set.

Raihan looked back at the photo he just took of the Champion in his lap. Ash looked absolutely stunning with the almost twisted almost side profile he gave Raihan. Brown eyes and white teeth lit up by the roaring bonfire behind him and Raihan could easily pick out where Marshmello stuck to his upper lip and chocolat at the sides of his mouth. Half of his freckles on his nose lit and looked like golden specks flicked on while the others were darker but could still be seen by the faint mini lap that was held on by a branch a little up ways and behind the two. Raihans signature hoodie was big and loose on Ash, gathering at Ash’s elbows and exposing his back and fluffy black hair that was a little greasy. Raihan didn’t hesitate posting that picture to almost every sight he was on. Insta, Facebook, Twitter, both private and public Snaps, you name it and it was on there. Captioned it all with;

“Can’t believe I’m out here with him and everyone. such a blessing to know Ash and the gang ❤️”

He did something he normally didn’t do unless he was at home and was one hundred percent certain that he wasn’t gonna be headed for the day and told his Rotom to go have some fun and charge up as well. The shiny little electric Pokémon zoomed off to where Ash’s Charizard and Raihans Flygon was. Hopefully the little bugger won’t make anyone mad. Setting down the now rotom-less phone Raihan leaned back more into the reclining camp chair. Being careful not to knock Ash back or off the chair entirely. Soon enough though some telekinesis snatched the box away and sent it back into the main trailer where they soley keep their utensils and food cold and dry, also because Gary had hurt his back a week prior before the planned trip so they had to be accommodating as much as they could because Gary refused to be left behind.

Ash glared at Zoey and her new Gothorita and the two stuck their tongues out at him before turning back to Dawn and squishing her under her quite complaints. He shrugged and looked back at Raihan. eyeing his chest and bitting his bottom lip like he wanted to ask a question, that sight sent more blood down south because Arceus dammit that was a sinful look and Raihan really wants to cover Ash’s face so he can either calm his dick down or not see Ash’s realization on what’s going on.

“Can I...?” Ash waved his hand and pointed to Raihans chest where one of his arms were crossed over. A hopefully look in his eyes and he leaned down while giving Raihan a look.

“Su-sure!” Raihan coughed into his fist. Thankfully his face was a little to far from the fire and skin to dark for anyone to notice his raging blush. Raising the arm over his chest Ash gladly sunk down. Moving and wiggling about, much time Raihans enjoyment and torture, until he tucked his head a little under Raihans head and had one of his arms reaching across and up to cling to the light jacket Raihan was wearing at the upper shoulder area.

“Comfy?” Raihan couldn’t help but chuckle. His own hands falling back down to curl Ash closer and shift him slightly so that he was hurting each other in anyway like this.

“Mhmm,” Ash sighed, deflating slightly and closing his eyes in bliss, “you’re warm.” Punctuating the last part by Turing his head up and nosing along Raihans lower neck before stilling and enjoying the heat he was getting from both the fire and Raihan.

Raihan really couldn’t move his head much because of how Ash was laying on him and he was thankful. No doubt by the prickly feeling in his spine everyone else, who was awake, was wiggling their eyes at him or giving Raihan a pointed glare. Choosing to take the moment he started running one of his large palms up and down Ash’s back slight. Tipping to the side and not his hip so that he didn’t rub Ash’s ass and and going as far down Ash’s thigh that his long arms could allow without jostling Ash to much.

Said trainer his his arms was practically purring as Ash was becoming putty in his arms. Arching and leaning his back a little into every touch before soft snoring could be heard and Ash didn’t move anymore. Sighing Raihan moved both arms over Ash again and tilted his head back, looking at the stars above and trying to find some constellations to pass the time before someone calls bed time and the rest follow afterwards.

Raihan didn’t post anymore pictures after that one surprisingly, it was only the third night there out of the week stay, though that doesn’t say he didn’t take a lot of pictures.

Most of them just happened to be of Ash or Ash with him or Ash with everyone pokemon. Especially of Ash in his swimsuits.

Raihan drove the biggest Malibu boat, not very keen to know what kind it is or power it had just that it could go fast and faster then the other two boats piloted by Gary and Brock. Everyone was happy that there was a public boat launch not to far from Ash’s property and that they’ve been out in the sun and taking dives into the cold water that had come from a nearby mountain.

Back to the phone, it was flying everywhere and being careful not to attract a lot of bird Pokémon, Rotom was currently near the back of the boat. Catching videos of Ash and Dawn surfing separately on the waves the boat made. He had to be careful and not go to fast if he didn’t want to automatically sink Ash and or Dawn. Ash was currently the one who was surfing. Dawn had quite two sessions ago and held onto the green rope that they use to get up and into the wave.

Zoey did her call, “flag up!”, and Raihan immediately slowed down to boat even more as he turned to the right. Letting the giant waves crash into the haul head on and grunted at the up and down motion as the boat bobbed.

“You good?” Raihan called. Motioning first Zoey to keep the bright orange flag up just in case Ash wanted to go again.

“Little sore,” Ash called from the lake water, grinning up at Raihan before squealing when Dawn all but hurled the green rope at his face when he came into launching distance, “I’m hungry though.”

“Yeah,” Zoey piped up, “Lunch sounds good.”

“I agree,” Dawn yawned into her hands, “and I actually want to get some tanning done today.”

“Sounds good!” Raihan directed his lazy smile at the three, the only ones who wanted to do some water sports as the others just wanted to swim and play with water squirter‘s and chillax, “I’ll call Brock and see how far we got away from the other boats.”

He quickly turned back to the control panel at the steering wheel. Not keen on catching a glimpse of a happy and wet Ash out in the bright sun. That would K’O his ass right then and there and nobody needs that since Raihan is the only one on the boat with a legal driving license.

“This is Big Dragon calling to Hot Chef and Country Gay, where’s your guys’s location? Over.” Raihan had to keep himself from chuckling. Both Gary and Ash were insistent to use fake names over the clip on radio and nobody knows why. Raihan also didn’t have to wait long.

“This is Hot Chef, Country Gay is currently in the water and we’re by the Deschutes side of the lake. Over.” Bricks voice was a bit staticky but it was all good.

Raihan also didn’t bother answering. Just telling everyone to hold on as he slowly ramped up the speed until they were shooting across the water back near to where the boat launch is.

Rotom had fluttered near a holder that the boat had for phones before the take off and decided to be a little shit and show him all the photos it took. Especially all the ones of Ash’s. It only took one look and a sharp under the breath curse to note that Rotom tried especially hard to get some absolutely stellar pictures of Ash. If he was honest with himself and Ash even had a social media account, the smaller trainer would have girls and guys just begging on their knees to take him out on dates.

That irked Raihan a bit much then he was expecting. Hot searing jealous flashed in his chest until a smaller hand came out of no where and gently settled, as much as it could with the wind that was buffing everyone, on his bicep.

“You good?” Ash called over the wind.

The jealous settled down. Content to know that all the photo’s Raihan room were his and that no one else had the exact same pictures as the one in his phone, except for the one he had already posted before. “Yeah.” Raihan answered. Not wanting to bother anyone with his own emotions at the moment.

Ash nodded from the corner of Raihans eye and went to sit back down. A hard wave hit them and Raihan cursed a bit more loudly and quickly apologized before continuing off.

At least he has those pictures.

Which he uploaded when they got to the airport after their stay. Olivia and Dawn were particularly happy about the air conditioning and so was Tracey who had to carry most of his and Gary’s luggage because Gary’s back still hurt a little.

Ash and Raihan were almost always together as they waited for their flights. Raihan was going back to Kanto with Ash, Tracey, Gary, and Brock while the rest were saying good byes to each other.

Raihan, which hes finding a common reoccurrence this week, ignored most of his other media to focus on posting a few more pictures on his accounts. Slightly arguing with himself not to post to many pictures of just Ash and also sprinkle in some other candid shots of a few other friends and a group picture they took at the entry way into the park that they had to drive through to get to the property. Though most of his pictures still ended up being dominated by Ash.

His favorite was the one one, that he didn’t take but Zoey did by snatching his phone out of the air as quick as she could before Raihan noticed, of him and Ash. Shoulder to thigh as much as they could with their feet on the backboard and letting water wash over the hot tips of their feet. Zoey at the time was on another boat during lunch, helping Misty take out the drinks from a cooler in Gary’s boat, and had a perfect clear view of just Raihan and Ash in Raihans boat of the two. Raihans head was ducked down more towards Ash, his original hat was long gone in favor of one of those straw sun hats with some cool orange colored fabric on the bottom to keep more of the sun from his eyes from shining through the little holes of the weave. Ash had a more sturdy floppy sun hat, pushing the brim up to he could smile at Raihan. Cheeks rosie and brown eyes soft.

It competed with the fire and s’mores picture Raihan had taken the night before that day happened. Putting his phone down Raihan focused back on Ash and Gary who were joking easily together about buying each other some touristic Unovian hats just to give to Ash’s Mom and Gary’s Grandpa. An easy smile glittered over Raihans lips as he came over and sling an arm behind Ash as they both asked him what hats should they get.

Raihan didn’t look at his phone, after posting yet another picture of the gang before they had all split up, until after he and the other three had touched down in Kanto.

Gary kept giving Tracey jaw kisses in apology for not being a big help this trip around. Tracey didn’t object to much as he was enjoying the extra treatment that he was getting from his Fiancé.

Raihan was lazily pulling Ash along. Pikachu decided long ago that Raihans shoulder was better then his trainers and had tucked his head against his jaw. He didn’t mind but it did make it a little hard to keep track of Ash who stumbled and grumbled behind Raihan, clinging to his large hand, until they got to the front where Daisy and Professor Oak were waiting. Two separate cars because Ash had warned ahead that Raihan is a tall bastard and is gone need a full back seat to himself.

He was to tired to fully freak out over meeting two very high end Professors, he just wanted to get to Ash’s place and take a three day nap. Raihan gently pushed off Ash and nudged him over to the front of the car where Daisy caught him in his stumble and helped him sit down in the front passenger seat. Raihan placed their luggage in the back of the trunk and cursed under his breath as he awkwardly climbed into the semi small car and tried to situate himself the best that he could with his lanky ass body. Raihan waved away Daisy when she made a wounded noise as she looked how scrunched Raihan was as he took up the whole back seat with his legs and his shoulders were still slouched down with his head to avoide hitting the roof of the car.

It was an hour drive home. An hour where Raihan couldn’t look anywhere without hitting his head but directly at Ash. Who, for the love of Arceus, woke up from his slumber to look back at Raihan with the most sappiest looks Raihan as ever received in his life and shifted so he could reach out a hand to Raihan. Wiggling his fingers until Raihan’s slow moving brain caught up and he reached out his own hand to grasp Ash’s. Who then promptly fell asleep seconds after. Their hands still connected.

Daisy made a snorting laughing sound. Raihan could barely see her goofy smiling reaction through the review mirror as she eyed him and Ash. “You like him.” She quietly sang. Eyes moving back to road again after taking one last look at Ash.

“Uh. Wrong,” Raihan slurred, head not really catching up to what his mouth was saying, “I love him.”

“Even better.” Daisy replied.

“Damn right.” He sniffed before shifting his hand that was holding Ash’s a little.

Next thing Raihan knew he was waking up in Ash’s small childhood bed. Legs cramping horrible and back aching from the way it was arching and how Ash’s elbow is digging into his stomach. His Rotom Phone was right above his face, bright light shining down in his eyes, and displaying over fifty different text messages and calls and stuff from his social media apps.

Raihan blindingly reaches up and snatched his phone out of the air with an angry half growl. Lips curling in a sneer when he noticed that it was only five in the morning. Lazily looking through his messages Raihan only garnered that his fan base was blowing up about his pictures that he posted and that it’s causing the league to freak out as well for some reason.

For all Raihan cared that was the normal with his fan base, even his more normal chillaxed fans, so he didn’t even see a reason why anyone would be calling him this early in the morning.

“Mute all calls and messages unless it’s a complete dire emergency.” Raihan mumbled loud enough for his Rotom to hear before letting go of the phone and trying to gently shift about without waking Ash up. It was an impossible mission to find a better sleeping position with how small the bed was compared to him so Raihan just let it go and slung an arm over Ash curled up body. Feeling the tinnier trainer shift more into Raihan’s chest at the motion.

The Rise of Kyoshi

This one technically isn’t ATLA or TLOK... we’re venturing into new territory?!?!

A big surprise we very happily got hit with recently, The Rise of Kyoshi is an upcoming epic YA novel series about the origins of Avatar Kyoshi from a humble corner of the Earth Kingdom, starting her journey to legendary greatness.

It’s going to be two books, with the first hitting shelves on July 16th, 2019. When Book 2 comes is anybody’s guess, but a year later in summer 2020 is a potential ballpark.

The next Korra trilogy

This is the one we know least about, but what’s exciting is that we know it exists at all! Korra’s story isn’t over yet: we have confirmation that a new graphic novel trilogy is happening. The rumor mill says we might finally be seeing the Fire Nation, but only time will tell...

We can hopefully expect some concrete information about this at NYCC in October. As for a release date, expect at least a few months between the end of Imbalance and the start of this, so late 2019 at the earliest, but probably 2020.

Prime Hunting Season Starting Soon

Official hunting season for 2018 is long over. With another season in 2019 just around the corner. I visited what was to be the final yard sale of the 2018 season on October 25th 2018. A brave older couple was downsizing and held a yard sale when it was 36 degrees out. Unfortunately, they were not gamers. Nor did they have any games from any kids or grandchildren. They did have some stereo equipment, and a surround sound speaker system. No music, or blu rays either though. The stereo was a shelf system, not a component type unit like I would be looking for to match the Sony TC-WE805S tape deck that I got at the start of the season. An all around bust of a sale for me. I wished them luck and headed on my way.

I closed out the last post with the PS3 find from 09.01.18. Giving me access to HD console gaming. A new era for this Old Nintendo Nerd. I do primarily game at 240p being that NES, SNES and N64 are the consoles nearest and dearest to my heart. GameCube and Wii weigh in at 480p at their absolute best, still falling short of HD. But now, with a PS3, we’ve got 720p gaming (mostly, some is 1080p). I have no problem with collecting a little for this system, I’ve heard good things about Uncharted, The Last of Us, and a smattering of a few other games that I will be looking out for.

Before we get into finds for the last, freakin 5 months, I have sold a couple things since the last post, and I should hope so, since its been forever! Right? Sorry. Life.

I had a bundle of 16 total PS1 games that I let go of. Titles were the likes of Syphon Filter, Driver, Test Drive 5, Rainbow Six, and a smattering of other luke warm titles. I’ve posted all of them up here at one point or another, so you have an idea. They were nothing I’d ever want to play, and since I only paid around $16 total for all of them at $0.99 a piece, I thought if I could average around $2 a pop on eBay id be doing OK doubling my money. They all added up to a value of about $95 on pricecharting. Now granted, that is fantasy prices, even those prices aren’t the prices the sellers MAKE when sold. Ultimately they all went for $52.99 as a lot. After fees and shipping it netted me $38.44, which comes to right about $2.40 each. 40 cents higher than I was hoping to get per game. Not bad!

The end of the last post left us with $9.73. Put that in with the $38.44 for a total of $48.17.

Additionally, I sold a disc only copy of Animal Crossing on eBay that I had laying around for $18.99. This came to $13.58 in pocket after fees and shipping. Tack that on and we now have $61.75 game hunting money moving into this post.

I’ll be honest, it’s been thin, it is cold here in the winter, there are no yard sales through the cold months at all. Places like Arizona or Florida where you could sale year round are lucky. Not here. Even donations to Goodwill slow down significantly as well, making the hunting quite a bit more difficult. I had zero finds for basically all of September. Which was surprising, it is really the last warm month here with temps still reaching 70′s and sometimes low 80s. But it wasn’t until the end of the month I ran across something at the Goodwill.

De Blob - Found 09.29.2018 at Goodwill

Disc, case and Manual all in pretty good shape, but nothing to write home about. If it were June and prime hunting season and I’d been getting finds, I probably wouldn’t have bought it.

But I did, and it cost me $3.21. Takes the total down to $58.54.

Next up was the first official game for my new PS3. Again nothing fantastic, but at least it rang up at the DVD price instead of the game price. Saved me $1.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Found 10.04.2018 at Goodwill

Minty fresh.

But, again nothing special, not even a full game. But I sat and played it for an hour anyway. Probably already had $2 worth of fun with the thing. Despite being labeled $5.99, they still only charged me the DVD rate of $1.99. Hah! So, $2.13 out of the till leaves us with $56.41.

The next find was literally the next day. Different Goodwill though.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on PS2 and Grand Theft Auto IV on PS3 - Found 10.05.2018 at Goodwill

This was absolutely minty fresh as well. Both of them were. Discs, cases, and manuals / maps. I wasn’t going to buy San Andreas but when I saw that it was in as good of shape as it was, and had a bonus inside, I couldn’t not get it.

First time I’ve found a game in Goodwill with a Memory Card inside. Those are $8 to $10 each right there, and I am a little short on memory cards, so I had to get it. The game was technically the bonus, I bought it for the memory card. Heh.

Great shape for two Goodwill games, they look brand new. Plus I heard that while GTA V is superior graphically, GTA IV is better with exploration, in that you can enter buildings, and enemy AI is a lot better as well. So I thought, what the hell?

Those two ran $6.42 together taking us to $49.99.

The next find was from 10.15.2018, from Goodwill, another few halfway decent games. Borderlands, Alice, Dante’s Inferno, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and a Disc only copy of Skyrim. It was actually in the same case as Alice, just under the Alice Disc for some reason. I wasn’t arguing with that so I left it there.

PS3 Lot - Found 10.15.2018 at Goodwill

Sucks about the two basically disc only games. Marvel Vs Capcom and Skyrim. One being from Best Buy pre-owned. The other hiding under Alice in the same case. not that I’m complaining about that one. Free game? Nothing wrong with that. How Best Buy even gets disc only copies of stuff is beyond me. Game system trades or returns with games still in them? I wasn’t aware they did pre-owned anything.

In any case... They are all in good shape. Minimal labels and damage.

Especially Alice. I dig the art on this one, and it is in very good condition.

As for Skyrim, well, I had a spare case laying around for FIFA 09, and I figured, why not print out a cover for it. I couldn’t give a shit less about FIFA Soccer. You can see the print lines, but it’ll do to hold the disc.

All of this ran me $12.86 being I paid for four games at $2.99 each plus tax. This takes the hunting money down to $37.13.

Moving into November, I had a spectacular find. At least, for the hunting money total. Not so much on the video game front, because it was just a Blu-Ray movie.

Wing Commander Blue-Ray - Sealed - Found 11.08.2018 at Goodwill

This thing, just looks like cheese from the cover. I picked it up, and immediately put it back down and walked around the corner to where some more shelves are. Then I said to myself you know what? No, let me check that, immediately dismissing something out of hand like that loses people money. Pulled up eBay on my phone and about pooped my pants. A sealed one was listed for $180. I thought that has to be some looney toon’s listing. I kept scrolling and no, used ones were just under $100. Check sold listings and there were real sales for $80+. Suffice to say I bought it, of course. Listed that sucker up, and I was hoping to get over $100 for it since it was sealed, but, there was some damage to the corner. The plastic was not in tact anymore.

This made the listing go for a lot less than $180. However, I was still pleased to see it sell for $85.00. For a $2 item? That’s a home run! After fees and shipping it netted us a nice cool $68.67. To be fair I will pull the money I used to buy it from the game hunting money, it was $2.12 ($1.99 plus tax) dropping us to $35.01. Then, adding $68.67 gives us...

**** DRUM ROLL****

$103.68!

We are now officially above the original $100 I started this game hunting journey with.

Not a bad note to end this post on. I’ll post up the finds for the very end of 2018 in the next post. Hopefully I can cobble that together here in the next couple of weeks and have it up much faster than I got this one up. There’s a really nice co-worker find to detail.

Maxwell: While Bryan was up in the air, Let me talk to about this latest Nintendo Direct that gotten delayed a week ago that almost got me depressed....I MEAN...Nevermind....

However I exclude Nintendo Switch Online Service cause reason, even though the NES Controller version of Joy-Cons looks cool.

Sam: I know! I just loved it.when Nintendo gotten something creative somethings. ^^

Maxwell: Anyways, it’s starts with Luigi in the dark place and I think it was from the 3DS version of Luigi’s Mansion, but the strangest then it that his poltergust 5000 looks different like from Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s Simon and Richter’s trailer; noticed his plunger attack on a ghost. Surprised that it was revealed the Nintendo Switch getting a threeqeul for Luigi’s Mansion and it’s gonna very hard to brace himself for 2019 release while his 3DS version is coming to Oct. 12 for Halloween Month.

Choco: As if Luigi had a hard time this year with his death. 😜

Maxwell: Choco! Don’t push it....

Sallie Chips: Just think for fans of Luigi. For me, I do like the reveal for Super Mario Bros “port” from the Wii U with characters like Toadette, but golly she’s transformed into Princess Peach when getting a crown. How’s that happen? Wondering if the ending with real Peach gonna be funny!

Bucky: Yeah, Yeah. Super Mario and all, but I’m so hyped for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee although waiting for another hardcore Pokémon RPG next year, but no problem. Seeing this trailer, trainers using a secret technique to their first Pokémon to cut down trees, but riding on wave and flying air?! That’s Wynauts! Then that means there’s not gonna be HM slot taken? (Also Pikachu had hair?!)

Stripes: Not any time soon, I think. *YAWWNN* Did you notice Game Freak is also working a new RPG too for 2019?

Bucky: Oh, Wow! Never thought Game Freak had some much potential. Go for you, gaming company of Pokémon!

Mikey: Speaking of RPG, It was gone crazy as heck that Nintendo just announced every Final Fantasy games to be coming to Nintendo Switch, especially from...PlayStation: Final Fantasy 7, 9, And 10 in HD Remastered. I know it was reasonable cause of “Why Cloud in Smash 4” thing, but hearing this series since my childhood, it was outstanding to see Nintendo actually do this for Square Enix and fans everywhere, especially Hefty.

May: My life’s to be a Smash Player wanted to see experience things like Bryan and this bundle was definitely fits the bill. There’s been a leak about this, but guess It was it! Maxwell: Okay....I think that’s a wrap for today. Besides some awkward moment for Mega Man 11 demo that already gotten released date, plus Amiibo that allow to get E-Tanks in days, from new 3DS version title for Kirby’s Epic Yarn to new Switch title of Yoshi’s Crafty World was so cool and interesting for Bryan, and Isabelle reveal to be playable that almost make Bryan had second thought for getting s Switch; not to mention Animal Crossing is coming to Switch 2019. I’ll give this 7/10 stars. Hopefully there’s more to come, but for now let’s take a moment for Bryan by doing a fanart for Isabelle while hopefully there’s more time to going to the service program this month.

Barring adding more RAM to your computer, there are 6 steps you can take to speed up your computer’s performance. Most of these steps will allow you to speed up your computer, free of charge since they are applications already installed on your computer.

One of the first steps you should take is to empty the Recycle Bin. It’s easy to do. Just point your cursor to the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop, right-click, and choose “Empty Recycle Bin.”

Next, open up your Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options. Click on “Delete Cookies,” then on “Delete Files.” In the window that appears, check “Delete all offline content” and click OK. Once that’s done, click OK to close the Internet Options window, and close your Internet Explorer.

Those two are steps are the quickest, and simplest ones so that’s why we got them out of the way first. Next, we’ll be conducting a Disk Cleanup. To do this, click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup. The disk cleanup function will now begin calculating how much space you will be able to free up. Once it finishes, it’ll give you a list of files to delete. It should already have some files checked, but you can go through the list and check off all the files you want to delete, then click OK.

Now it’s time to do a disk defragmentation. This can be a long process so you should probably set this up during a time when you’ve got other things going on. For example, set it up, then go watch your favorite TV show, or go mow the lawn, or go workout. You get the idea. To begin go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. Click Analyze. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the “You do not need to defragment this volume” call-out, but more than likely, you’ll have to click on “Defragment.” If so, click on it, go do something else and come back in an hour or two.

Once that’s done, it’s time to run a spyware scan. Most people don’t realize how easy it is to get infected with spyware, so running periodic scans is highly recommended. You can use any anti-spyware program you choose. Just be aware that no one program gets rid of everything. To play it safe, you should run at least three different programs. You might be surprised by what they find. You may have had spyware running on your computer and not even know it. Once the scans are complete, and all that spyware is taken care of, it’s time for the last step.

This last step is to run an anti-virus scan. Hopefully you have an anti-virus program installed on your computer. If not, I highly recommend you get one as soon as possible. Once the anti-virus program is set, go ahead and run it. This could take anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple hours depending on how many files you have on your hard drive so once again, set it, and then go do something else. Come back in about an hour.

Once all the steps are complete. Restart your computer and you’ll be surprised at how completely nimble it now feels. It’s a good idea to follow these 6 steps at least once per week (some steps you can even set up to be done automatically). By doing this, you will keep your computer performing almost like it did when you first bought it.

"Okami" HD Release Confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Remember when Okami HD rumors were popping up last month? Well, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine is here to confirm them, lining the remastered version up for a December 13 launch on PC in Japan, followed by PS4 and Xbox One on December 21.

The loading screen mini-games from the first version of Okami are going to return, and fans can look forward to high-definition and 4K support. The Xbox One and PC versions of Okami will be digital-only, with a physical release available on PS4 and prices set at ¥2,990 ($27) for the standard edition and ¥4,990 ($45) for the limited edition.

Hopefully we'll hear about releases outside of Japan soon!

2020 Jan 27-32 The Right Foundations

Wouldn't go to gym without eating, if I didn’t eat, I wouldn't go, and’ve been lucky, and won't go if depressed because I don't eat when I'm sad, I just stay at home in self-defeat. Obvious restless from dieting, losing sleep staying up an hour, or not getting to bed an hour earlier, or waking up an hour early, or an hour too early, that’s like four hours lost sleep, it damages proper thought -- carbs around/during workout has changed that.

Clearly not parallel to superheroes, but wow deciding to eat mid workout, on a timer after starting, to see if it quickens workout, does improve ability to break a sweat and get shit done. Still sick of bad miracle diets into trendy workouts, and realized training intensity needs carbs, as runners likely do too, and then replace glycogen after workout, and eat just enough carbs to fall asleep. Normalcy is easier with it, if intra-workout carbs are key (only tried it once) and gains/cut drops to 222lbs, I’ll test lean-bulk right after. Time will tell. Now that mid-workout food is good instead of groggy, hopefully better reps, gains, shorter session, “in modus bonus.”

If 18-25 might I suggest some heavy af 5-3-1 sets, or some weighted reps to infinity, until your target muscle burns ‘for reps, not PR’ as some say. Weakspots training without eating right-before (semi-fasted) soon kills getting any good reps even at all, no flexes, no PRs, half-assed and deenergized, and mental concentration shot, especially after giving up big breakfast. Malnourished clouds focus, no suns out, no guns out, kinda sorta.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC is Pretty Expensive For What It’ll Probably be

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC is 30 dollars, a pretty high price for another round on Nomura’s ride.

Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC in the latest State of Play. The trailer most notably reveals that Aerith and the other Final Fantasy characters aren’t dead. As you already know, since the trailer leaked beforehand, the DLC will launch on January 23, 2020. What didn’t leak, however, was the price of the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC. We heard it now.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC is priced at $29,99 and contains:

An Additional Story: Re Mind

The Limitcut episode and 13 boss battles (the harder boss battles against each Organization XIII character, like they did in KH2 Final Mix)

A Secret episode and boss battle

A Data greeting feature

A slideshow feature

The DLC also comes with a $39,99 priced version. It includes all the above plus a video of the World of Tres Orchestra concert, recorded in Osaka, Japan. 19 tracks in total.

Personally speaking, I think the DLC is pretty expensive for what it is, especially considering players already paid Kingdom Hearts III full price and what they got was an unfinished game. Which will now be complete with this DLC.

Square Enix always launched Final Mix versions of past Kingdom Hearts games, and Kingdom Hearts III is getting this treatment via a DLC instead. This DLC is definitely historically better since we don’t have to pay full price for a Final Mix game and restart our playthrough from the beginning. But it doesn’t make it a good thing either. And while we have a list of the DLC’s content, we have no idea how long is said content. It’ll turn into an even worse deal if you can clear the additional story, the Limitcut episode, and the Secret episode in just a few hours.

Tetsuya Nomura chatted about the DLC in various interviews we translated. He most notably mentioned how it would launch before 2019 ended. Turns out that it didn’t make the cut in the end. January 23 isn’t too far off from 2019 though.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 are also coming to Xbox One. Square Enix is also currently recruiting for the future of the Kingdom Hearts series.

The trailer is included below. I’m sad Square Enix still hasn’t published a Japanese dubbed version yet and we couldn’t hear Aerith voiced by Maaya Sakamoto and Riku voiced by Mamoru Miyano. Hopefully, it’ll pop up soon on the Japanese KH Twitter.

I really dug that opening segment with the showdown between Terry Funk and Eddie Gilbert. There was clearly chemistry there and it sets up tension right away and also lays out that Gilbert is our main heel and will be steering the ship week to week. It got us going strong right out of the gate.

Best Performance

Terry Funk was great on commentary. He was really funny and added some good legitimacy to the broadcast. His opening showdown with Eddie Gilbert was well done too and sets up some strong tension right out of the gate. On a night filled with soft matches, Funk helped keep everything watchable. And he even promised the fans that the show and performances would get better as the weeks go on. What a guy.

Biggest Surprise

I was pretty surprised a bum like Rockin’ Rebel was set up as the #1 contender for the ECW Heavyweight Title. He looked like a hack and was pretty poor in the ring in his match tonight. The name is goofy and his look is goofy. Hopefully he is shuffled out of the picture soon. I am also always surprised and confounded that Sal Bellomo was trolling around here in his bizarre Wildman gimmick.

Most 90s Moment

The graphics. All of the graphics were so early 90s. It will be like that for a while, so I will give them an honorary award to open up this series. Honorable mention to Rockin’ Rebel’s mullet. It was fairly glorious.

Additional Observations

I like the tournament idea, makes the SportsChannel debut feel like a big deal; Pretty fitting that Terry Funk pops up right out of the gate on episode one; I also like how we kick right off with a title match, they definitely are making this episode stand out; The gear on both the Destroyers and Hell Riders is so damn low rent, it is basically backyard wrestling quality; Stevie Wonderful is carrying the commentary here, he sounds the smoothest and is pretty funny; It is so bizarre seeing Sandman as the beach bum in his surf gear; during this music video; Sal Bellomo’s bizarre wild man gimmick will never cease confounding me; I like how they announce the seeds of Bellomo and Cairo to add some legitimacy to the tournament; Tommy Cairo is undefeated in ECW apparently; I don’t know how Bellomo wrestles in that absurd costume; Tony Stetson’s prematch enthusiasm was certainly infectious; Rebel is apparently the number one contender to the ECW Heavyweight Title; Jimmy Snuka’s sidepiece, hache mache; Good way to set up Hot Stuff International here, strong out of the gate; Snuka is the #1 seed so he is getting a real hard push here and he really beat the piss out of Winters
