Lots of interesting character work, though the plot hasn't deviated too much from canon so far.

Ships: Buffy/Spike, Angel/Cordelia, Willow/Tara, Anya/Xander. The Buffy/Angel ends on mutual terms.

two roads diverged (and that has made all the difference) by RoseyPoseyPie - a Buffy season 5/Angel season 2 crossover. Hoping to escape Glory, the Scoobies end up in Pylea with the Fang Gang. This fic is absolutely hilarious (the scene where everyone gets high and drunk together is a notable standout). The author writes Anya, Lorne and Cordelia in particular super well. Dawn and Angel's dynamic is also amazing.

Ships: Buffy/Spike, Angel/Cordelia, Anya/Xander, Willow/Tara.

don't know how to stick around, but I wanna by chasingfictions - a series in an alternate universe where Faith, instead of going to prison, joins Angel Investigations. Very Fang Gang centric, but really builds up their family bond. Darla, Faith, and Wesley were stand outs to me in this.

Inside Man by HollyDB - An Angel season 5 fic. Spike calls Buffy. This shows all the things that change when Buffy has a spy on the inside of the Fang Gang. Follows canon up until the last episode, but provides fun context.

“Gabbie, Nomi,..” he called out to them, making them stop in their tracks and you sit in the car distracted by your phone unaware of what’s going on outside of the vehicle.

“You guys have to give me a moment with her” he gives a look of desperation making them give in.

Jack races over to the car opening the driver side door and you being distracted on your phone you don’t look up assuming it's either Gabbie or Nomi.

“On the way back can we stop at- what are you doing here?” You're taken back by seeing Jack sitting in the driver's seat where one of your friends we’re supposed to be seated.

“Baby, I just need a minute” he reaches to hold my hand but I pull it away out of his reach.

“Don’t call me baby, Jack, it’s been 3 months. There’s nothing to talk about” I look outside the window ignoring his presence.

“Please baby, you know I didn’t mean any of that shit” Jack grabbed onto your thigh softly giving it a squeeze, his hands trailing upwards towards your core making you shut your legs tightly making him smirk.

"See you really wanna forgive me ma stop acting all tough and shit." Jack told you before you scoffed pushing yourself up against the car door.

"I'm done with you Jack. I don't see things getting better between the two of us. Its over, it’s been over.” You went to reach for the car door but Jack was quicker than you. He reached over you and slammed the door before grabbing your face softly but he still had a firm hold on it.

"Who gon' leave who?" His baby blue eyes looking at you intensely which scared you.

“Get the hell off me Jack what’s your fucking issue we are no longer together nor will we ever be together.” You spat at him and Gabbie quickly opened the door making you finally relax knowing she was here.

“It’s time for you to go Jack and to never come back or bother Y/N again.” She threatened and Jack rolled his eyes before looking back at you one more time before getting out of the car and leaving.

“You okay babe? I’m sorry we shouldn’t have let him talk us into coming in here.” Nomi said and you shrugged your shoulders and hugged yourself.

“It’s okay guys let’s just not talk about it I just wanna go home.” You whispered and they nodded before pulling out of Druski’s driveway.

Once home you showered and got changed before going to bed you checked your phone and looked at your phone in confusion seeing a message from an unknown number.

“I meant what I said Y/N you’re not leaving me.” Your eyes winded not believing he was this insane. You quickly blocked the number and tried your best to sleep that night but it was hard you had a feeling someone was watching you.

There was one point where gru and his minions and poppy (apparently a teenager villain that lives next door to gru) break into this dark mansion on a hill in the middle of nowhere that the minions drove a hot air balloon to that I think a old lady owns with her muscular body guards or man companions (if you know what I mean) the old lady was awoken by the noise they was making I’m not sure what happened after that that’s all the trailer showed

Do I think it’s going to be a good movie

One answer YES but it seems like there’s a lot going on (I think i mentioned it in my last post i don’t know though) there was also a scene where Lucy was chasing a villain in a shop it seems like it’s going to be kinda messy to me I thought the two main villains was maxime le mal and his girlfriend valantina but it seems like there’s loads in the despicable me movies and minions there was always just one group of villains or just one with a sidekick maybe they might all be working together but I’m not sure

I follow the official minions account on tiktok it seems like they have been quite that’s actually how I found out about the movie from there one tiktok and after that not much as been said and also joey king voices poppy I really hope this isn’t a movie where all famous celebrities voice act but I don’t mind.Joey king also made a tiktok with unseen content of poppy and the caption was “meet poppy you don’t want to get on her bad side” (poppy also has a cat) but anyways I thought they would be referencing the new movie in there TikTok’s but maybe when it comes to the release date, they’ll release I think I’m just impatient😂

WHERE IS DRU?

Now I actually didn’t even think about this until a comment said it and I was really surprised I don’t think a movie would bring in such a character like Grus long lost brother for just one movie and then just forget about it I don’t think a very big Movie franchise would do that, unless he just wasn’t brought into the trailer but he is in the movie. I’m not sure and someone even said that dru took all the minions with him because there was only three minions that went to the safe house with gru but I guess in all the movies there was three main minions, but my best guess is they are with dru I hope they do reference him or where he is or what he’s doing. If they don’t I think that Despicable Me 3 was kind of irrelevant if one of the main characters in that movie just disappears out nowhere.

Is despicable me 4 going to be a disappointment?

Well it depends on the person really but I do see is a lot of people hate a certain movie it does turn out to be shit so I don’t know I really hope it isn’t,you cannot go wrong with a despicable me movie I think they are all amazing but it the creators keep on making movies or finding ways to make more stuff I think people are going to find it shit and annoying after a while because normally if movies make more than one it gets crapper and crapper but I hope it doesn’t

At this point it's quite literally just a list of Indian characters and what went wrong in their representation, like I've got working directly for the British Monarchy along with having no personality other than hot, complete rejection of Indian culture, etc. I'd have to edit it to make it actually make sense, but maybe I will when I get the time!

Like my family has varying tastes with media, but we all absolutely adored The Unlisted and like it was literally a typo that led me to find the show in the first place! That part when they are doing pooja during Diwali - it was the first time I've ever seen a pooja on television for Diwali. Like yes there's a celebration afterwards but they do pooja first! And like Dru and Kal and Vidya! My children!

That scene very much does exist! The really funny part is that Reagan (The girl who witnessed it) gets a recording of it and shows it to a teacher, hoping to get Kal in trouble and the teacher is thrilled by it rather than upset.

In defense of Despicable Me 3

It has taken me FOREVER to get to this and I can no longer find the ask but! @squidsandthings, to answer your question of what's up with Despicable Me 3, the plain truth of it is that it is simply the pinnacle of film. Most people think it's a classic case of a company wringing every drop of profit they can from a movie that saw commercial success, dragging it out further and further with each sequel until the plot is so attenuated you can barely see it, the concept is so inane you lose brain cells watching it, and the characters are so two-dimensional they are undoubtably relatives of Stanley. But I say it's cinema at its finest. I will try to make this short, but brevity is nigh impossible when extolling the virtues of Despicable Me 3.

To start, Gru is the morally gray anti-hero this generation needs: an ingenius villain with something to prove (he has mommy issues), yet a tender family man at heart. He yearns for his past life, for the thrill of heists and gadgets and gizmos, but recognizes that he now has joys and responsibilities (the gorls) and must struggle to tame his nostalgia.

Dru, Gru's long-lost twin brother with the most luscious blond hair you've ever seen, is the hot to Gru's cold, the high to his low, the piliferously well-endowed to his follically challenged. Dru has all the charisma and charm that Gru lacks, but he is bumbling and incompetent when it comes to heisting. Yet, despite it all, he desperately wants to follow in his (and Gru's) recently deceased father's legacy of villainy, to make him posthumously proud.

The gorls are growing up: Margo receives a proposal from a boy with limp cheese and a pig, Edith remains surly yet reveals her caring nature as she accompanies Agnes to find a unicorn, and Agnes herself remains a paragon of hope and childlike wonder despite learning that unicorns aren't real, choosing to embrace a one-horned goat in what is possibly a biblical allusion to finding the beauty in imperfection. All the while, the gorls are figuring out what a relationship with their step-mom Lucy looks like, and Lucy in turn is learning what it means to be a mother.

The minions, upset with the dangerous labor conditions (Dr. Nefario was accidentally frozen in carbonite) and unfulfilling work (not evil), decide to unionize in a powerful example of proletariat uprising. Unfortunately, they later get imprisoned for stealing pizza after enthralling fictional and real-life audience members alike by performing a spectacular impromptu rendition of the Major-general's Song on a live singing competition. They then stage a jailbreak like the radical prison abolitionists they are and find their way back to continue a life of crime with Dru.

With such a star-studded cast of characters, you'd think there would be no way to steal the spotlight, but the antagonist, Balthazar Bratt, manages to outshine them all. Bratt is nuanced and realistic with a tragic, compelling backstory (teenage acne) who clings to a delusion of fame after his TV show as a child actor was canceled. He is stylish and funky, bringing all the best parts of the '80s back to life with his superior sense of fashion (I mean, who else can pull off spiky purple shoulderpads and not look monstrous?), immense bravery (he sports a spiky, gleaming mullet despite his large bald patch), and multipurpose choice of weaponry (keytar that emits waves of sonic energy strong enough to blow not just your socks, but all of your clothes off to the tune of Van Halen's "Jump").

In all, Despicable Me 3 is undoubtably a cinematic masterpiece through and through.

Also, it's an inside joke with my cousin that I've taken waaaay too far.
