It’s the middle of the week, have some dancing turtles

Spoilers below as I gush about my Mutant Mayhem Monday experience 🤗 please feel free to gush with me I wanna hear other people’s thoughts too!

First off… When Seth wanted to put the teenager in TMNT he meant it. Like, all the versions act like teenagers, but like Nickelodeon PG stereotypical teens. MM turtles were the realest PG-13 outta pocket 21st century teenagers I’ve ever seen and I love that shit because it’s the first time I actually felt like I was around the kids in middle school and high school again with the way they talk. Kinda appreciate Superfly cussing too? Like idk it’s Ice Cube and this villain goes hard tryna kill some teenage turtles he formally saw as his lil cousins, let the grown mutant cuss

Also uh, was not expecting to be sad so early in the movie? Like I could tell from the trailers it was gon be an emotional rollercoaster but shit like ten minutes in and these turtles are fuckin depressed. And to see it really hit me because in every other version (except for Bayverse) the turtles literally never let not being part of the human world get to them. In the shows especially they’re so well adjusted and never bothered by sticking to the shadows. Then there’s Rise where they pretty much go out whenever they want and indulge in most of the human world stuff they want to. For these guys to be so stunted and desperate to have more freedom was so heart wrenching. Especially when Splinter grounds them for a whole month and the reality sinks in of how much they know the life they want isn’t an option for them

Wasn’t expecting any kind of ship or romance but that crush Leo has on April hit me like truck because…… holy crap the Leo-April pair has never been a thing? On top of that this is only the second on screen black April we’ve seen and I’ve been a Leo kinnie across the board since day one so to see this combo of my favorite character liking a black girl is making me lose my mind 🥲 and like it got me thinking of several of my favorite shows and the single characters I kin in those and if they’ve ever had black love interests and it’s just still not a common normalized thing honestly.

I’m sure a lot of people aren’t excited for the prospect of ships coming back (especially after 2012 scarred us) but as a Leo lover and black girl it got me so excited to see something like this. I’m just hopeful and optimistic they won’t mess it up like a lot of shows do. The “this is just as friends line” already makes me a little worried bc that trope never has a good history but I have faith they’ll handle things tastefully and not make it toxic or messy

Just a couple of my favorite questions that April wrote down for them:

“Do you carry salmonella?” Look I still don’t know wtf salmonella is but it’s the second time a TMNT iteration has joked about it so I’m starting to think it has something specifically to do with turtles 👀

“Have you caught covid?” Oml covid exists in this world

“Are you the source of covid?” OUT OF LINE 💀

“How many people has the red bandana turtle stabbed? Does he need therapy?” Yes.

“Does sunlight cause you to burst into flames?” They’re- they’re not vampires? 😂

Leon Ardo deserves the world and whatever he wants in it give him everything 😭

I will never understand what made Donnie laugh so hard at the name Nardo other than it being because it’s his sibling and that it bothers Leo lmao

All imma say about the puke scene is that I’m glad I heard an “out of context” spoiler about it bc I knew exactly when to look away and I’m glad I did bc the scene lasted for so long??? 😀❓But hey at least I had Unwritten to listen too while I was sparing my eyes 😂

The sequence of them going around and shaking down those gangs and Superfly’s connections. BAD. ASS. And each of them got their own moments to shine? Loved it. Like they each even got to take point and have their moments where they got to kick in the door lol. And the fight scenes were just, muah. Chef’s kiss, they all looked amazing taking grown ass adults down together

Okay Splinter definitely gets the best dad award for putting together that little surprise party, with all the celebrity Chris’s and pretending to wait on them 🥺 so pure. It did make me sad the guys immediately left and you can just see such a sad dejected look on Splinter’s face, knowing he can’t provide what his kids really want or make them happy enough without it 🥲 At the very least they say thanks and that they appreciate but I would’ve at least stayed for a lil bit and gone along with it, Splinter just looked so excited about it and it was so sweet 😭

And he doesn’t even get upset though he knows they’re hiding something, he just says he’ll help them if they’ve gotten into trouble, which is something I’m sure almost every kid has wanted instead of having the kind of relationship where they’re more scared of telling their parents they messed up instead of handling it on their own

I love how musical Superfly’s family is 😂 Ray Filet just starts sing-introducing his name and Mondo and the other couple mutants when they drive with in the car trying to find music they could all sing to together 🥹 not to mention the musical references Superfly makes later that I’ll get to. “Kinda don’t wanna murder everyone on Earth, I just kinda wanna sing” Me too bruh.

Raph immediately going “goochi goochi goo” and playing peekaboo with Genghis frog is so underrated that boy has such a soft side he’s not even that afraid of showing at times, and maybe it’s continuing the trope of Raph having a soft spot for pets/animals? Who knows 😌

Yo I was kinda shook when that government guy knocked Leo out and he just fell unconscious on the ground 😶 Like we’re used to seeing the authorities be brutal especially in movies like this but that’s a whole teenager? You just assaulted a minor? 🙂 Crazy

Also I know it’s sad they got captured and drained painfully but Mikey in that scene was hilarious 😂 like even the way he was dramatically crying and Leo was just started to cry with him like “iM sO sOrRy mIkEeEeEy! 😭” gold. When one of his children is hurting Leo hurts too. One of my favorite moments 🤣

They literally started singing BTS while being tortured they’re so unserious but like in a serious way to them and I love it. Also the fact that they did it just to make Donnie feel better? So pure. Like Raph of all turtles offered to sing while being drained of blood (bc I refuse to use the m word 💀)

The way Splinter snuck in and soloed literal government soldiers single handedly? Badass. Never loved seeing a Splinter save his sons so much 🥹

“But it’s the only way we’ll be accepted.”

“No! We accept you!”

“You can come live with us! We accept you!”

“WE VIBE!”

Oml they’re so puuuuure 😭 I really thought this was gonna be a moment where the guys invite them all to come live with them and Splinter was gonna be like ‘aha 😬 whoa slow down there’ but damn nah he was just as enthusiastic as them inviting all those mutants to come live in their home forever “The more the merrier!” Like ugh he just loves finding family like Baxter Stockman and we see where the guys got their loving nature from 🥹

The amount of his soul Mikey put into that BROSEEEPH was so real like I’ve never heard the name broseph be said in any other way, I’m so glad they put that moment in there

“New York, New York!” “I’m the king of New York!”

Oml superfly’s a Broadway baby 🤗 he’s a big bad villain marching through time square and talking about King Kong but he’s fill gonna nerd out and make his musical theatre references 😂

“For once in your life you didn’t sound lame. You actually started to sound like a leader”

“That was really heartfelt Raph”

I love the Leo Raph dynamic in this movie. Like they don’t always agree or understand each other but they will show love towards one another and show mutual appreciation

Something about any of the turtles shells cracking always gets to me for some reason like those are some serious permanent injuries so I want to see if they do anything special with that in the sequel or show maybe 🤔 And I couldn’t tell if all of theirs cracked or just one, and if so which turtle it was. I think Leo or Raph. I feel like it was Leo but Raph’s are also starting to have a trend of getting cracks in their shells so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also I do not want to judge what other people like to wear but why are Raph and Donnie the only normal dressed ones 😭 like Mikey looks like he’s going on vacation and Leo looks like he’s going to clock in at Best Buy 😂 tell me it’s because they have limited resources for clothes lmao. HE’S LITERALLY WEARING A LANYARD

Them taking off the masks was crazy honestly… like them deciding not to wear them made my brain pause until I realize they’re kids going to school now and not being ninjas all the time… they don’t need them anymore. I’m just so pleased with the fact that this movie was willing to do what all other iterations weren’t. I see why they’re getting a sequel and show already, these guys and the plot development deserve so much more exploration

Maybe I missed something in the beginning but I’m wondering where Stockman went. Like is he still in custody? Did he die? Because not seeing him again that’s what I assumed but we only saw him get arrested or whatever, so if anything I don’t get why Superfly and the others wouldn’t try to break him out 🤔 I was surprised they didn’t make him a villain though, but I’m pretty happy about him getting to be a more optimistic kind character tho

SHREDDER HAD ME SHOOK LIKE THE ARMOR ALREADY LOOKED SO COOL AND I WAS NOT EXPECTING THEM TO GET THE BIG BAD INVOLVED AHHHH I’M SO READY TO SEE THEM REACT TO THIS ANGRY GIANT TIN CAN

Although I do wonder if Shredder’s gonna have some personal gripe with them since they have a different backstory he doesn’t seem to be a part of. And shit now that they’re public and in school it’s gonna be so much easier for him to go after them 😅 pluses and minuses…

The soundtrack: golden. Cultured. Nothing but range. Goes from a 90’s rap song to Natasha Bedingfield’s soulful 2000’s song. Most movies only ever have all pop mainstream songs or only rap songs because they think they can’t mix but MM does it effortlessly. The turtles are so versatile not just with music genres but they make old and new references ‘cause they’re well rounded kings 💪🏽 Between rizz, Adele, broski, Hey Arnold, K-Pop, Ferris Bueller, etc… I mean Donnie’s literally doing the sprinkler and the funky chicken in that gif up top 😂 they’re born in 2008 I doubt any kids today know about those dances anymore

Clearly I have all the thoughts and feelings about these boys and the movie, but I think this is probably my favorite TMNT movie? I’ve loved all of them but I think this one definitely brings me the most comfort fr

Headcanons but with a twist, it’s not for Guitarspear for once??? (Huskerdust hit me like a truck today)

Huskerdust . <3

1- Husk sometimes wears reading glasses and Angel will take them and play with them while flirting (Without being pushy with it, we respect boundaries here) and it makes Husk strangely happy but he will still push Angel’s face away.

2- Angel, as we know, hates his legs. But Husk will sit there and just admire his spider paws because he use to hate spiders and now he has the sweetest spider as a partner.

3- Husk was confused about Fat Nuggets at first, but once him and Angel hit the 4 month mark of dating, Husk would have Nugget lay on his head while he cooks.

4- Husk made a drink named after Angel and he made sure there was either little or no alcohol in it so Angel could still drink it.

5- Angel isn’t fully use to romantic things so when Husk does something romantic for him he gets confused and asks if he wants something - And over time, Angel finally got use to it all because of Husk.

6- When Husk finally told Angel how he felt about how he was flirting, Angel switched up a bit and became more romantic flirty than s__ual flirty but still made occasional jokes which made Husk feel 1000x better.

( I just wanted to say tysm for all the likes on my other posts!! I’m so very thankful and quite honestly surprised people even noticed my stuff? I might start doing 50/50 things where most my stuff ofc will be Lute & Guitarspear focused but also do other things for other ships or characters !! A/N: My first little drabble for the Baldur's Gate Gale/Astarion bandwagon because that ship hit me like a truck lmao

Summary: Gale is to curious for his own good and tries to study vampire habits by getting to know Astarion decides the vampire needs someone in his corner

So A Vampire Has Joined Your Company

“So, what do you make of having a vampire spawn in our camp?”

Neia had asked the question so casually that it’d taken Gale’s wine-addled brain to really comprehend the question, and the implications behind her words. As prickly as Astarion came across, it wasn’t hard to see the protective barrier’s he’d made for himself.

His flirting and biting remarks were deflections and defense mechanisms. Gale had spotted it the moment Astarion had given the wizard a lazy smile and called him darling in such a honey sweet voice. Ignoring the fact that Gale’s stomach had flip flopped under the rogue’s gaze, he didn’t miss the flicker of curious calculation.

And all Gale had asked was if the vampire didn’t mind being tent neighbors.

The vampire part wasn’t that surprising really. Gale was a restless sleeper on a good night, and damn near an insomniac on the bad, so he had witnessed Astarion’s late night coming and goings. The glow to his eyes, how he’d leave looking pallored and come back with a slight flush, tongue running across his teeth.

He thought at one point, he might’ve felt a slight shift in the air one of the first nights of camping together. Someone’s presence above him but when he’d woken he was alone in his tent.

Honestly, he was more intrigued in the tadpole’s ability to grant Astarion the ability to walk in the sun unscathed, and fondly amused whenever said vampire got distracted by a bird making its nest, or the flowers. Even just the activity in the grove caught Astarion’s attention.

“Rather interesting to be sure, I’ve only had the pleasure of reading about vampire spawn,” Gale told her.

Maybe there was also just a part, a very small, academically inclined part of Gale wanted to use it as an excuse to learn more about vampires. Self imposed exile didn’t exactly leave a lot of opportunities to meet other people.

So Gale did what anyone in his position would do, bought an overpriced journal from one of the merchants in the grove, gave it a magical lock because the last thing he needed for ‘his to curious for his own good’ nature bite him in the ass, and took notes.

A lot of notes.

Since I've been replaying Subnautica recently, I've been thinking more about Below Zero.

From what I've seen, people tend to give Below Zero more shit than I think it deserves. Now, out of the two games I would very much say that Subnautica is my favourite, but I think comparing the two games is a bad idea in general because of how fundamentally different they are.

The premise of Subnautica is that you're a janitor whose spaceship crashed on an alien planet, leaving you as the only survivor when you wake up 8 hours after the crash. You aren't prepared for this. You're all alone. And you have been infected by a bakteria with a killcount in the billions. You know nothing at all about this world. This sets up real terror, helplessness and the knowledge that even if someone were coming to save you, they would experience the same fate as the rest of your ship's crew. You're not stranded on 4546B BY CHOICE.

Below Zero however, is drastically different. You have gone to great lengths to willingly smuggle yourself onto the planet to find out just what happened to your sister to cause her death. You come very much prepared and you're more than willing to face all the risks. You can also theoretically leave at any point. All you'd have to do is show yourself to Alterra and they would probably escort you to a prison themselves. You do not get infected. You are also not alone.

This willingness and initiative in Below Zero is a huge detractor from the terror of it all. And it is why I think a comparison is unfair.

(Also, you have a Truck. In Below Zero. And Truck-kun is there, ready to deal massive damage for you! Honestly I think it's way too OP. Fucking Shadow Leviathans become nothing more than a NUISANCE. But well, it fits with the theme of the game.)

All in all, Below Zero had nice environments, nice creatures, nice gameplay, a better base building system and some pretty intruiging storylines!

In my opinion, the endgame is pretty lacklustre. Any terror I felt regarding leviathans or the like abated very quickly, even though I have barely 30h in Below Zero. Meanwhile, going to the Aurora in Subnautica still scares the shit out of me 80h in.

Although I have to mention here that some of the familiarity you build up in Subnautica carries over. You can never get the same experience as playing Subnautica for the first time ever again. Because now you've already experienced it once.

Below Zero isn't really a worse game for not being able to do this, though. It's a good game, it's just... not as memorable. Because Subnautica is truly special. From its stellar soundtrack to its satisfying gameplay and moving story and setting, Subnautica is a fucking masterpiece. Sure, it has its flaws, but they're more charming than detracting. To me.

And it's unfair to expect anything else to deliver the same experience. Because nothing can.

And when comparing Below Zero to Subnautica, so many cool things lose their shine in its shadow. I still vividly remember jamming out in the seatruck to Diving In Too Deep from Nerdout. The story of that one old wreck that managed to survive by distracting the big gun was some really good writing. The frozen leviathan terrified me so hard even though I knew it wasn't going to come alive. Robin and Al-An's conversations are genuinely interesting an entertaining. The kelp area is really cool and the oxygen flowers are such a good gameplay change! Sam's storyline hit me right in the feels! MARGUERIT. The ice worm hit me straight off of my snowfox and down a cliff so I had to run the rest of the way. The research crew are also lovely characters!

There are a lot of things to love about Below Zero and we shouldn't let them pale by judging the game with standards Subnautica lifted to the fucking moon <3

Hirogaru Sky! Precure Episode 41 Review - Falling Leaves

Like I said before in my episode 39 review, someone in the studio REALLY likes Battamonda. Guess who gets a third focus episode? I’m also assuming someone in the studio also really likes shipping Monda with Mashiro because this is the second time they’re on focus together. I’m honestly more of a Sora/Mashiro shipper, but the Monda/Mashiro dynamic is pretty hilarious given that she has no idea he’s Battamonda. Though, the “Kill them with kindness” quote really works here as Mashiro’s kindness is begrudgingly changing Monda.

I guess this would be considered a plot-related episode as a bit of the Underg Empire lore is revealed here. Underg soldiers are trained excessively. Battamonda managed to overcome the brutal training and became a general, but Skearhead tells him that he’s very weak and incompetent. To be fairly honest, if you compare the villains’ actions throughout this show, Battamonda was the only one who actually came close to capturing Ellee and defeating the Precures. He was the one who caused havoc on Sky Land with the giant Ranborg bomb, caused the King and Queen to fall into a cursed slumber and then used Shalala as the first human infused Ranborg to lower Sky’s morale. Compared to Kabaton and Minoton, the “weak” Battamonda was actually the most nefarious.

Battamonda’s personality makes sense now that he brought up the topic of how weak people fall into nothing like falling leaves. He acts tough, but he’s very insecure on the inside. He considers himself like falling leaves. Fortunately, Mashiro’s kind heart serves as a catalyst for his character development. Look at her catching onto Monda’s insecurity spot on when she had asked him if there was something that had been frustrating him. That look of bewilderment definitely meant she hit a home run.

If you notice, there are ginkgo leaves surrounding Battamonda towards the end of the episode. There are several meanings of Ginkgo leaves. They mainly symbolize hope, strength and resilience. Ginkgo trees are known for their longevity and toughness. Battamonda is very stubborn and is a tough person to deal with but like falling leaves, there is hope for his growth and change if he harbors the strength to do so and resist the urge to fall back into his old ways. I think this is perfect for him and a clever way to incorporate autumn since it is the season of death—death of the old Battamonda, perhaps.

While Mashiro was also the other focus character for this episode, I feel as if she was mainly a catalyst for Battamonda’s potential change. I do like how she’s super expressive than before in this episode. I do wonder why she wasn’t this bubbly before; she’s so adorable like this. I do hope the contest results will be revealed in a future episode.

I do like that Kabaton’s new life is revealed here. While Battamonda is reluctantly working at a food truck to make means ends, Kabaton is enjoying his new life selling sweet potatoes. His sweet potato stand seems to be popular as he has regular customers. I’m glad that someone is enjoying their time in Sorashido City.

Skearhead seems to be very heartless compared to the other generals. He fooled Sky by saying his motive is for someone he loves, but then tries to counterattack her when she fell for that. He cares about results above all else. He doesn’t think Battamonda is useful and even tries to kill him before Mashiro steps in. Though, his actions confuse me. Why is he doing this? I do hope that Skearhead’s motives are revealed in a future episode because he’s very mysterious.

Next week’s episode has Shalala coming to town. This will probably be a Sora-focused episode after seeing how frustrated she was at being called naive by Skearhead. I hope this episode will be good. The last time Sora had a depression episode, it was wonderfully written. If you have seen this episode, do you think Battamonda will change for the better this time around?

I love all your OCs dude they are the best

This honestly took so long at first, but I am really excited to share this! Truck is my big boy!

I'm gonna break this up actually, cause his backstory got way out of hand from my original thing so I'm gonna do a quick physical description/some of his little quirks before I get into the mess of his life!

He's probably like 42 in my head, so old compared to most of the Shadows but close to Graves's age. Around 5'8", broad build, an absolute unit of a man, hooked nose that has been very clearly broken several times, left ear is a cauliflower ear from a fight he got into as a teen, green eyes, looks angry all the time, has so many callouses on his hands and knuckles, so many scars from fights on his face. Those are little scars, but they're still there. GINGER TRUCK!! He so ginger in my head now and it makes me so happy!

Family: Momma is still alive, and he calls/writes her regularly, visits when he can. Pops died not long after he joined, which hurt like hell but he stayed on his course. His family supported him the whole way through. He's got two sisters, both younger, and he'd commit some pretty bad war crimes if anything bad ever happened to either of them. Surprisingly, he's married. He loves his wife but never talks about her; his life is his and not anyone else's. They don't have kids (yet? can't decide if I want him to have kids or not) but they do have 2 shelter dogs they adopted, and they're the cutest freaking things.

Hates anything carbonated, like sodas and stuff. Either drinks water with a little bit of lemon in it or straight black coffee. Doesn't do sweets (unlike Ness and Flash who live off of sweet stuff). Generally keeps a really good diet and workout routine when he's not in his shop. Such a routine oriented guy that it could only take 2 days to learn his full routine. Day two is just to verify everything.

As I've said before, he struggled a lot in school. It wasn't just his dyslexia (that he didn't know he has until sometime after joining); it was his anger issues. He was constantly getting into fights as a teenager. He had been bullied a lot as a kid. He's a ginger, so already was an easy target for bullying, but then you add that he was really poor compared to a lot of kids in the area, and he just became prime bully real estate. That is until he hit puberty and got tougher and stronger. Then he became a bully to his bullies.

He had to pick up a job in high school to afford lunch, and life was just really difficult in general for him. His parents were incredible people, he still has such a great relationship with his momma, but it doesn't change how difficult life had been for him.

His Pops taking him under his wing and teaching him mechanic things was a huge respite from all the icky stuff life threw at him. He got to spend quality time with his dad, which he rarely got to do as a kid cause of how much the man worked. He got to learn in a way that didn't stress him out and make his head hurt. He got to do things and sometimes his strength was necessary to get something fixed. The mechanic shop and the time with Pops probably saved Truck from getting into much more serious trouble as a teenager, so he feels he owes his Pops his life.

He has a lot of ways to cope with his anger issues that don't lead to either self destruction or hurting others. It's actually why he joined the military in the first place. He was once told by a really horrible teacher that if he didn't "shape up and start acting right" then he'd get shipped off to the army and they'd set him right. It was meant to be demeaning, kind of a way for the teacher to tell him that he's too stupid for the real world, the only people that would take him is the army. But for Truck? Free food, free housing, free education (should he want to try his luck at that again), a lot of benefits like insurance and stuff? Hell, decent pay??? Sign him the fuck up!

Not to mention, he wanted the military to shape him up, to make him "act right". You think other people don't like dealing with his anger issues? He loathes his anger issues. It cost him a lot of good friends and ruined trust with a lot of people cause he'd blow up over something stupid and the relationship would never recover. He ended up in the hospital one too many times (literally only once but given his family's financial issues, it was too many), and that was a low point for his family. He believes/knows it's his fault, and the guilt still hangs around.

The assignment that got him on Graves's radar for Shadow Company is actually how he met his wife. It was several years ago, probably around 6-8 years, but his wife was one of the nurses on staff that helped patch up the unit afterwards. His teammates tried to discourage her from pushing him, cause he's got a super short temper, but they all were shook when he simply said "Okay, fine." and allowed her to examine him.

He insisted on getting in touch with her afterwards because "she's the one person that can push all my buttons and I'll never blow a fuse" *catch me crying in the corner over this fire sentence that I wrote*

Sraaph Comic

Honestly, inspiration just hit me like a truck—

Since Sraaph exists in this Au, it makes sense that it would hold/remember all the trauma caused by the Krang—it’s a defense mechanism, that way Raph doesn’t die from guilt. That also means he has no memory of his possession, so in his perspective he was on the ship then fighting along side his brothers. I would say that Sraaph has…mixed/complicated feelings about the Krang to put it lightly. I was listening to the Hysteria meme music while making this—@nemkero made a beautiful animatic based off of the movie which you should check out if you haven’t already!

Gwenvid- 9/10 I'm honestly loving the dynamic between these two becuz like gwen is like the grump of the two and David's the sunshine that everyone adores and ugh its so adorable like cmon don't tell they wouldn't end up together it's overall cute

Danvid- 3or4/10 idk how to feel abt this because it's a bit odd to me I mean Daniel tried to kill David like yea but it would be a decent ship if Daniel wasn't THAT weird pretty meh ship tbh (sorry danvid shippers but ily)

I was wondering, do you have a ranking for Kotone ships? I assume Shinjiham is number 1, but I'm curious since you mentioned you liked them all

HMMMM maybe? I mean like I pretty much like all kotone ships since I'm biased and I like her althoughhh honestly some ships I just see more on platonic side but I salute anyone that ships her with a rare pair (provided its just not something entirely weird or borderline illegal lol)

Anyway, here's pretty much my ranking and thoughts for each ships lol:

1) Shinjiham - First of all, god Atlus doesnt FUCK AROUND with his SL route and it's so out of their fucking mind for Atlus to not let the girlies write for the romances in other persona ever again cuz WHAT THE FUCK???? They really fucking cook with his and Ryoji's SL its fucking sweet yet so tragic I just cant fucking take it anymoreeee 😭😭😭 and it fucking hurts me that even when you ended up not dating him, you can clearly see just how in love he is with Kotone like fuck man it hurtss

I am just such a sucker for the broody bf x cheery gf trope but they had me in my tits when they laced it with angst it had me bawling by the end of it. I really appreciate how in femc's route we finally get to see his true character like god before P3R we really only know him as that mean looking guy with a tragic broody past and he tries to make things right before its too late but we dont also see him trying to be better other than tiny mentions of it so when he is gone we dont feel bad other but P3P hooo boyyy shits fucked me up I miss him I miss my wife and even when I get to save him, even when he finally gains the reason to survive and have meaning to live, when the person that gives him that reasoning is gone, it fucking hits me like a truck man and that truck decides to reverse and run me over again. Absolutely spectacular shipping 11/10 dont fucking do that ever again Atlus I have inherited hypertension from my dad

2) Akiham - This is actually my initial otp before I blasted and fried my brain with foolmoon content. I was actually surprised to see this side of Aki where instead of him looking like he gets thing under control and cool all the time, he is just so clueless socially and every rank of him had me go "Holy shit he's autistic he's just like me frrrrr" like I didnt expect him to have awful social cues like me hskskssksk I also love how really cute the entire rank is like this boy is 18 and never dated anyone yet he is so sweet and thoughtful I almost forgot he probably learned this from the seventeen magazine in his room lmfaoo I love them they're the most tamed yet cute pair but also bittersweet and sad thinking that he lost everyone that he loves even after he proclaimed he will protect her ugh im in painnn

3) Theoham - I love how silly the entire route is! Its fun and relaxed and oh god what is up with everyone with white hair has autism in this game??? His lines are fucking bonkers it had me in tears and I cant even believe this man also manage to make me feel things about exposing one's hand after seeing it gloved for so long. Again Atlus please let the girlies cook again for the new persona i am begging you

4) Hamugis - idk if it was Atlus intention or not to make her pan but god I love this so much! Her entire route is her adjusting to being human and gaining human emotion gradually and I just really think its so beautiful when she said she doesnt even care if Kotone's a girl or a man she will still love her (Im sure she really meant it to be platonic and she pretty much mixed romantic and platonic but also that confession at the roof doesnt help at all I genuinely think she's in love with femc) and towards the end when she cried I can hear how human she is briefly like oh god I cant believe Atlus invented yuri

5) Yukaham - they're besties and she mentioned she wants a bf before okay whatever BUT I just refuse to believe she's into men honestly and she probably just wants a bf because thats what she believes girls should be (like obsessing over boys and such) and shes a girly girl so she should like boys, right?

Im not forcing anyone my HC at all so just ignore this if you want. Im writing this because the worm in my brain tells me to do it and i am also projecting myself here but like I just like the idea of Yukari feels conflicted about her sexuality because she's a girly girl and her liking girls doesnt fit the status as a girly girl but when she meets Kotone and she is feminine and likes girls stuff too but also a tomboy and doesnt really care much about the identity of being a girly girl and finds herself enamored towards her, she admits to her one day that she's having conflicted feelings about her and the other girls she finds oddly attracted to and Kotone's probably like "You should try to kiss me and see if you feel anything about it" and AKXHEIQPAUSQPAJQL oh god the thought of Yukari not knowing she's a lesbian and struggling to accept her identity as a lesbian is just so AAAAAAA i need more Yukaham content maybe I should draw them together

6) Mitsuham - I totally understand people's vision with Mitsuham. Actually at this point, you guys can see how Kotone brings impact to everyone in the team and towards the end of the game, everyone either finds a meaning to live or finally able to open up to each other but anyway shhh lets ignore the overall grim lore of this game and just focus on Mitsuru as a person instead. I really love the idea that Kotone introduce a lot of new things to Mitsuru since despite how rich and influential she can be, due to the responsibility and burden she has to hold at a very young age, she didnt get to experience what life is as a normal teenage girl so I just love the thought of Kotone teaches her what it feels to be a normal teenage girl like and gives her a glimpse of what it feels if she wasn't a Kirijo in the first place. Again, just a HC but like I think it would be so fun of Kotone and Mitsuru just sneaks out at night after she convinces her to forget her responsibility for a moment and loiters around town until it's the dark hour and Mitsu just freaks out because she was too distracted by having fun and being distracted by her duty and she was like I cant afford being normal, not in this world and not when she bears the name of Kirijo and oh god did I accidentally turn this into angst???? ANYWAYS yes I understand Mitsuham

7) Ryoham - Okay I have to admit, as much as bittersweet and tragic their whole relationship is (like the fuck as going on in Atlus' HQ when they wrote "Please touch me. Make sure I exist." Like ????) I'm just not into Ryoji much because of a personal reason but also like I love it when people draw them in an alternate universe where they meet again like I really believe in another life, they really do would fall for each other again ;w;

8) Juntone - Honestly I just see them as platonic but I saw this one Juntone shipper on twt before and I cant stop thinking of them whenever I have to think of this pair. Like okay shh imagine if Kotone isnt dead in the end but both of them still lost Chidori and Shinji, I know they both understands the pain but like if lets say they find confort in each other and down the line they do fall in love, I just think its really beautiful. Maybe not immediately but when years later theyre reunited and open up about their grief and still having a hard time to move on, I know they would clung on to each other just to feel absolutely alright because nobody can understand the circumstances they fall into.

Anyway, that's pretty much my ranking. I really do love and understand why people would love her with other pairing like I am all game but the ones I am pretty much very obsessed with is Shinjiham and Akiham while the others are more of an afterthought to me.

Thunder roared outside the large windows of the Dutton house. Kayce and I had called in today and asked the assistant to call us if it was an emergency. I had started working at the Livestock Office again since the Sheriff and I no longer have issues. Rummaging around in the bag that Bree had found the other day with letters from Spencer and Cara Dutton. Picking up the pile of papers I headed into the living room seeing my husband sitting on the couch. "Where are the kids at, Kayc?"

"Tate is playing with the twins inside the barn. And I think Carter and Bree are upstairs thinking of baby names. Oh and don't tell her but I took one of the security cameras from work and hid it in her room." He sends me a smirk while I round the couch plopping down beside him.

Raising a brow at his words there were some times that he went overboard. This was one of those moments. "Kayce, don't you think that is a little much. I mean she's already pregnant."

"Doesn't mean they can't still sleep together again, darling. What are those letters you have?" He draped his arm behind me scooting closer seeing the envelopes in my lap.

Unfolding one of the letters I had pulled out I lay my head on his chest with him moving his arm to wrap around my waist. "Bree found them one morning. I haven’t read any of them so I just thought it would be interesting too. They seem to be dated from your ancestors named Spencer and Cara Dutton.”

"Well go ahead and read one then." He told me simply looking up at the window seeing that the rain was starting to pick up and hit the glass softly.

Shifting so I was snuggled up against his warm embrace I cleared my throat attempting to read the old handwriting. "Alex, I am not good at writing. I am just a man of action who doesn't waste moments in life. When I met you I was struggling with what happened during the war. I didn't really care what happened when I was hunting animals. You have made my life better since then so I decided to write this letter to you. For when we are reunited at my family's ranch. I will find a way back to you, Spencer."

"I think I remember dad mentioning that there was a hunter in our family. What do the other ones say, Y/n?" He asked me to move some of them around and hand me another one. He honestly enjoyed it when I would read to him like he was still a child. I figured it had something to do with losing his mother at such a young age.

I did wish some days that I could get to know my mother in law. Be able to tell her how much I loved and adored her youngest son. That she could see her beautiful grandchildren the way John does. Evelyn Dutton was missed by everyone in this household. "Um let's see. Oh here's one that's written from Alex I think…Dear Spencer, I am burning to be with you again. I managed to get off the ship we were on and am now hoping to find passage to Montana. My love for you only grows during the time we are apart. Until we reunite, my love.”

“Awe this is so sweet. I can’t believe that they were separated.” My husband responded back, lifting up and meeting my gaze. We heard footsteps coming from down the stairs where we both turned our heads seeing our daughter and Carter.

Bree had her bag in her hands, sending me a look. “Hey mom. Dad, could we go get something to eat in town. I am craving ice cream and we are out?”

Kayce and I turned our heads back at each other both sharing the same look. The rain had stopped for a little bit and it wasn’t supposed to storm any worse until later tonight. “I guess so but just remember that you need to be back before the storm comes. I don’t want any of my children outside tonight.”

“We will be. Thanks uh…Mrs. Dutton.” Carter tipped his hat, taking my daughter’s hand in his, leading her out the front door towards the truck since he was old enough to drive now.

It was an hour after they left that the thunder and lightning had begun picking up. Kayce had gone to bring the other kids inside the house and close up the barn. Closing the fridge I had put some microwaved pizza on some plates giving them to the kids to eat. Kayce and I had crawled into bed where he opened one of the drawers of the nightstand beside the bed. He pulled out a notepad showing it to me. “I went and snooped in our daughter's room and I found this. I think that’s why she was keeping the letters.”

“She was thinking of baby names. Jewels, Gordon, Harrison, Spencer and Olivia.” I read off the names on the list seeing the lights of the house flickering on and then remained off longer where when they came back on we heard multiple sets of feet on the wooden floor.

The bedroom door got kicked open suddenly where we lifted up noticing that Elsa and Dallas were huddled together. “Mommy, can we sleep with you?” She asked, squeezing her teddy bear to her chest.

“Of course, sweetie.” I patted the bedside where she ran forward climbing up and getting in between her daddy and I.

Kayce turned his focus back to his younger son seeing that he was standing in the doorway. “You want up here too, bud. You’re mother and I don’t mind.” The lights went off again where he made a noise at us.

He still remained standing there glancing out into the hallway until I heard Tate’s voice. “Dad, he’s acting like me…I thought I was too old too - ah!” He jumped now standing behind his younger brother, sending us a concerned look.

“Come on Tate. Age don’t matter right now.” Tossing the covers aside I picked up my little boy in my arms waiting for Kayce’s other child to climb in our bed. The power completely went out where the twins latched onto us in fear.

Tate layed his head on my stomach hearing the front door get slammed open telling us that his sister was home. I didn’t feel like getting out of the bed so I just texted her that I was happy she was safe. “At least they got home safe. Now our kids are here.” Kayce draped his arm over my shoulder kissing my forehead.

Shutting my eyes I was about asleep until my phone went off on the nightstand. I scooted myself out of the bed doing my best to not wake up the kids since it was hard enough getting them to sleep when there was a heavy storm. Stepping into the hallway I didn’t check the caller ID. “Hello who is this exactly?”

“Y/n, this is Jamie. There’s some interesting information I discovered recently. And I don’t think you want your children to learn what their grandpa really does on that ranch.” He responded through the phone making me glance over my shoulder seeing that Kayce was still fast asleep.

Pressing the phone back to my ear I whispered. “What do you want from me, Jamie. And under no circumstances will you come after my children.”

“I want John to pay. What I want from you is help me become Governor or I will pull up your records with the sheriff and bring all that past drama back into your life.” The former Dutton threatened where I hung up the phone running my fingers through my hair heading back to bed. Jamie had no right to do any kind of threat against me.

3 ships: like. like right now? I honestly haven't had the fandom itch in a long time but 3 major ones I'm currently fond of are serirei (mp100), alphyne (undertale) and jonmartin (tma)

First ship ever: honestly probably akuroku. I might have figured out shipping was an option before getting hit like a truck playing kh2 but that's the first one I remember actually getting really into, to the point where for a while I was obsessed with any redhead/blond ship I ran into (mattmello anyone??)

Top 10 times a kid’s cartoon made me cry!

(spoilers for The Owl House, Adventure Time, Amphibia, Gravity Falls and She-Ra)

10. Luz Leaving Camilla Again (The Owl House, Yesterday’s Tide)

This one’s number ten for a few reasons. Number one, I was quite annoyed at how Camilla reacted to Luz’s choice to stay in the Demon Realm. It wasn’t like she chose it over staying with Camilla - she chose it over going to some weird-ass conversion camp. But also (and this might just be me being a jerk) there wasn’t anything physically stopping Luz from going back to the DR after finding her way back to the Human Realm, just a promise that can be persuaded away. The main reason this was sad was that she was being pulled away from her mum again, and that Camilla blamed herself.

9. Queen Angella’s Sacrifice (She Ra and the Princesses of Power, The Portal)

Angella’s character development kind of hit me like a truck, because until this scene I didn’t realize she needed character development. I feel like she’s an underrated character. In this scene, you can totally see that she views Adora (and Bow) as her own child, especially since Adora’s an orphan. You can hear the pain in her voice as she voices her past mistakes. Also, this is especially sad since she must have thought “ah well, at least I’ll see Entrapta and Micah again”

8. Tuba’s Funeral (Infinity Train, The Campfire Car)

Tuba’s actual death didn’t really affect me because I was so certain she would just come back. But this funeral killed me. Grace had come so far, crying over a “null’s” life and making sure Hazel felt safe, protected and calm. And the way Hazel trusts Grace even though her best friend killed Grace’s mother. The scene was so well written and acted.

7. Marceline and Simon’s Past Revealed (Adventure Time, I Remember You)

I think the worst thing about this scene is the fact that Marceline has had to carry these memories with her for centuries and centuries. Every time Finn and Jake complained about the Ice King, every time he turned up at her doorstep asking for lyric help, every time Bonnie got kidnapped, Marceline had to look at her father figure and see a monster. And the fact that Simon had no memory of her or their past? Wow. That hurt. And the final blow - that Simon got Marceline Hambo - just destroyed me.

6. Finn Says Goodbye To Minerva (Adventure Time, The Light Cloud)

The main thing about this one is that they could have had more time. If the ship had been slower, if the headset had a bigger range, if, if, if. I was OK until Minerva started to give the advice she wished she’d been giving for fifteen years. When she said “Watch out when eating blueberries. Too many can hurt your tummy.” it hit me with just how much she regretted. Regretted getting into a life that would lead to Finn having to flee the island. Regretted not coming to find him sooner. It just really hurt.

5. Come Along With Me Plays For The Last Time (Adventure Time, Come Along With Me)

Honestly, this hurt me for one main reason - it was the last. The last time we’d see Finn and Jake, the last time we’d see how our characters grew, the last time we’d hear those beginning drums to Come Along With Me. I actually fell off my chair when I realized that’s what Music Hole would sing, and I cried so much.

4. Stan Sacrifices Himself (Gravity Falls, Weirdmageddon Part 3)

Honestly, the only reason this isn’t higher is because I knew, deep down, that Stan wouldn’t die. He was too much of a main character to die, but watching him willingly lay down his life for people he felt had more worth than him really hurt. He was ready to kill himself to save the people he loved, even though he’d started off the series “incapable of love if it isn’t monetary-wise” (his words).

3. Luz And King’s Sacrifice (The Owl House, King’s Tide)

The desperation in Luz’s face as she puts her life on the line for her loved ones. The fear in Amity’s face as she begs her girlfriend to save herself. The break in King’s voice as he thanks Luz for being the big sister he never had. It was so raw and realistic and painful. And I think it’s really symbolic, that King - who used to literally see himself as monarchy - did everything in his power to save one of the only people who actually believed in him. This was one of the most heart-wrenching finales I’ve ever watched and it’s not even over yet.

2. Anne Says Goodbye To Sprig - Permanently (Amphibia, The Hardest Thing)

I genuinely never expected them to leave and never come back - and I don’t think anyone else did, either. Anne, Sasha and Marcy had come so far since they arrived in Amphibia and grown so much, and this scene just showed that. Sasha’s and Marcy’s goodbyes shoved me to a cliff and that one-shot of Anne and Sprig put me in a catapult and launched me off the edge.I just - it hurt, alright? It hurt.

1. Mara’s Story (She Ra and the Princesses Of Power, couldn’t find the episode)

IF YOU HAVE WATCHED SHE RA YOU KNOW WHAT I AM FEELING. I don’t know why I’m putting this in first, but I am and I have no regrets. We were made to dislike Mara, to be annoyed at how much she put on Adora’s shoulders, but really she was just like Adora - a scared girl with a biiiiiiiiig responsibility. The worst part? Razz’s confusion. “We were going to make pies together. She promised”. The trope of one-person-dies-and-the-other-doesn’t-understand is such gold and gets me every time. And Mara’s relationship with Light Hope? *inhales*

I had to watch all these scenes to get the screenshots, so I’m not feeling too good right now. Weep for me, weep like I have wept for these pixels. I am not ok.
