for all minkowski wants to do things by the book, it's soo easy for her to get pulled into eiffel's spiraling vortex of unprofessionalism. what even was the schedule a year into their mission? like, kepler actually trying to enforce protocol was a horrible shock to eiffel's system, and even then. he still overslept and was late for everything. what was minkowski doing? a third of her crew just fully doesn't show up for her briefing, and, what? she's wasting her own time clanging on the door of his quarters with a wrench until he can't take it anymore, and that takes even more time because now he's definitely not getting up. on principle. there's a non-zero percent chance that she's just barged in there and pulled the covers off of him like he's a teenager who won't get up for school. but only once, on the basis of things she would rather have gone her whole life without seeing.

I think Jane was right about Kenny being unstable and dangerous to be around, but putting AJ’s life at risk by hiding him in the car and not telling anyone in order to purposefully set Kenny off was just incredibly stupid.

You know how Ms Ji's cooking is horrendous but Yohan and Elijah (and I assume Isaac?) ate it all without complaining for what seems to be years. If she was the one to raise Yohan, that means she's been cooking in that house since he was a baby. I'm wondering then, why would Kang Jisang keep a housekeeper that can barely cook ? And apparently not say anything because to the day Gaon tries her cooking, she's not sure why the kangs stopped eating it ?

Either 1) Jisang liked her food 2) had some form of ageusia/didnt care for the taste of food, maybe as a self flagellation method idk. 3) Ms Ji's cooking wasn't always like that !

I'm thinking that maybe it was normal, nothing amazing about it but decent enough, until a bit before jisang's death or after the church fire. Elijah mentions that she's obsessed with adding healthy ingredients everywhere even if it does not match the dishes she's making. I wonder if Ms Ji does it with the intention to promote healing or something like it, especially once Elijah loses the ability to walk and Yohan has second to third degree burns on his back. Would also sort of explain why they don't dare tell her anything about it, because she was trying so hard and they didnt want to hurt her feelings by telling her upfront that the food wasnt edible..

no yeah miri's mom was NOT the ""villain"" and she definitely was not presented as such either.

with the smile spell miri mentioned earlier, and just overall despite the situation she was forced into, misaki clearly did her best with miri even with her conflicting emotions.

the only obviously "bad" choice shes made so far was sending miri, a 4 y/o all alone into the city but 💀 to some degree the thought of sending her to be with her dad is also. yeah. like shes not in a place where she can take care of miri properly, and even if miri seemed to be some sort of... bargaining chip?? miris dad has the resources to help miri more than her mom could

and kazuki isnt the ""good guy"" either nor was the situation presented as so black and white. both parties said things that they've internalized due to their own separate situations, and while kazuki was mostly projecting due to his own losses and experiences, itd be good if he manages to learn about some other worldviews.

but yeah tldr: neither misaki nor kazuki were villains, and they werent PRESENTED as such either. they just said whatever and you the viewer have to interpret it.

i am aware a lot of series often demonize women who dont want their children or are in similar situations etc. but thats not what happened here luckily

I’ve seen people’s take on the ages of the MM turtles (Leo’s the oldest, Mikey’s the oldest, Raph and Mikey are twins, etc) and here’s MY TAKE:

They’re quadruplets

Look I don’t know about you guys but for once in my time in the fandom I’ve truly felt they’re the same age (or relatively on the maturity level). It could be the teenager/pre-teen VAs, but I don’t get the same ‘they’re different ages’ energy from the MM boys.

Like although Leo’s the anxious one I don’t get the feeling he’s the most anxious because he’s the oldest and the leader and blah blah blah. He’s just a teen full of anxiety.

And Mikey doesn’t feel like the youngest to me (because the scene he had with talking about the watermelon being like his head) but not like the oldest either (because he’s equally fooling around with Raph and Donnie). He’s isn’t some young goofball baby of the family but not a cool oldest sibling either.

And same thing with Raph and Donnie. Donnie for more obvious reasons mostly because the VA I’m gonna be honest but just his general demeanor. He feels like a teenager who happens to be smart, not someone who’s smart but happens to be a teenager.

And Raph doesn’t give me ‘edgy wishes to be leader roughy guy’ he’s just a jock teen who wants to do sports. He doesn’t give off the same ‘second oldest’ energy all the other Raphs (minus Rise Raph) have.

TL;DR: It could just be the VAs and the fact we only got a few scenes in the trailer, but I don’t feel like the MM boys have like ‘youngest to oldest’ energies like most TMMT incarnations do. When I compare them side-by-side they all just feel like quadruplets with different personalities.

Lmao a video went viral of an autistic son hitting his mother for not getting Applebees and the comments are all “you shouldn’t let him do that” “if that were me I’d hit him back”

Now y’all get why it pisses me off that Autism became trendy?

The mom did the right thing which was to not retaliate and to not give into demands. If you ask experts, that is how you handle that situation. Because a child with Autism needs different parenting than a neurotypical child.

But because it has been so watered down, people don’t see that kid as autistic, just as a bad kid. What are we in, the 1980s? Kind of like when you go so far left that you turn right.

It’S a SpEcTrUm. I know. You say it every time. Every time. I get it. But those in the lower end and their loved ones are suffering the most, have been ignored by education institutions, insurance agencies, medical staff, and so much more for years and im sorry I feel worse for a mother who has to endure being hit for refusing Applebees than someone on the higher end getting overwhelmed by lights. Kill me.
