I used to be such an LPS fan, many of my oldest comments was on videos of people making skits with them, & there was an occasion where I left one being homophobic about two dog boys despite having been a homosexual since I was a little thing… 6 years after I posted that comment I received a serious reply from someone, which was warranted but also so very late, yet I still got so afraid and I dishonestly replied saying I am so sorry, my little cousin got on my computer! I only owned a couple of them, but they made me happy. I’d make my own youtube videos as well as stop motions & even protested against the change of their designs despite also owning one or two of the new ones, by making a phone call to hasbro when I was little, lol. I really like the ferrets, and the kitties, and just about most of them all, really! I was a big LPS popular fan as a child, too!
Enough of that! Today I watched my boyfriend play some Zeno, which was fun while it lasted! And then he quit, and I ate a bit of the delicious cake I brought home from a restaurant yesterday :-) but now I am so tired, it might be because I wasn’t comfy last night no matter how hard I tried, so I’m back in bed… today has not been as productive as yesterday, but it is still nice. thanks for answering my question! i genuinely don't think something can be a sin without it being clearly stated as a sin, so all the so called analogies between "homosexuality" and "zina" doesn't exist in the Quran, therefore invalid. i struggle to understand why would God condemn love? why would it only be okay for heterosexual to be in a relationship and have sex, but not homosexuals? are we less than them? but he created us this way. so "just don't act upon it" is illogical to me. we would surely know if the Prophet punished anyone as well, since the homophobes would surely not miss that!! 😊 love is the most beautiful thing and it is given to us by Allah, so it cannot be a sin. i also don't really see the connection between zina and homosexuality. sex before marriage is haram so that lineages don't mix and people have a clear relationship between each other. with that being said, this could mean homosexuals do not need to get married, and they can have sex with content. or if their country legalized same sex marriage they would first get married. i have also read about how there were cases that allowed same sex intercourses within the islamic law in the past. since Quran talks about heterosexual relationships because they are the majority, we cannot really know what to do. but all we know that something cannot be a sin without being mentioned as a sin and that we are not condemned, despite what people think. honestly i am so tired :( i spend my entire time trying to justify my existence to other people and to myself, it is mentally exhausting and leading me to stray away from religion. i have even accepted that even if it is a sin, i would do more good deeds to be forgiven but i cannot be deprived from the comfort of love. i would love to hear if you have any advice for me. i don't mean to randomly vent but i genuinely cannot take it anymore and i don't have anyone around me to talk to. i just want to feel validated to be in a relationship, get married later and have sex :( once again, thank you and i'm sending my love! so hard to even simply exist in this toxic environment.
as a person who understands, and as a psychologist too, i must say, your feelings are valid, your struggles are valid, your questions are also valid. and you're not alone. it's just that as queer muslims we always face ostracization and criticism, so as you said even simpy existing is really difficult. both in muslim contexts and in queer contexts, we cannot find a proper place, both groups do not accept us wholeheartedly. the thing that helps me the most is to have queer muslim people around me. just like my best friend @aheartandashirt ♡ because queer people do not understand my religious identity. and muslim people do not accept my queer identity. but queer muslim people will understand the most. having that safe space is truly healing.
why i'm studying this subject academically is also because of that. i'm interviewing with turkish queer muslim women and i'm seeing that we are not alone. hopefully this study can be something empowering that helps individuals like us to feel less lonely and more resilient. if you wanna talk, i'm always here. my message box is always open. i'm sending lots of love and virtual hugs 🫂 take care ♡

Like, the definition is pretty simple, but you can get called it any time, when someone disagrees with you xD so it's...stupid? To take it seriously, when you just get called it over and over again, because someone did say something stupid/weird and you just point it out

Homophobia means nothing but a negative attitude against homosexuality or LGBT people, most often a personal dislike (even a fear) of non-traditional values. Homophobes (as well as any person) do have a right to their opinion if it doesn't harm others. Cause you don’t despise other person for loving spiders if you are an arachnophobe, right? You just avoid spiders :D
At the same time, there are people who are sensitive to any other opinion if it contradicts theirs. Some people may take it personally as homophobic when they feel uncomfortable, as if their rights are being infringed upon. But to call a person a homophobe for their opinion, where there's no homophobia in, is strange.
I'm sorry that you became the target of someone's defensive reaction, when you actually didn't mean anything bad (ówò) In any situation, it's better to stay respectful and friendly, people will treat you the same way ♡ Hope you make peace and find a common language! ( ˵•́ᴗ•̀˵)(˵•́ᴗ•̀˵ )

Okokok I have so many. But first of all I would like to kiss the person who translated this one on the lips the captions are delightful
Most people think Ote is Ito's father, and I think this is maybe what Mr. Abuse intended. But when you look at what he calls his dad vs how Ito refers to Ote, that's already one difference
Secondly, I think it's important to look at what the Flower Wars were in history. To summarize, they were wars in a different sense than usual between the Aztecs and several other peoples in the area, with pre-planned and even battles and often ritualistic sacrifice to gods in response to a famine. Now with the religious trauma shit we see in Christ, obviously implied to be Christianity, my interpretation is. They are gay and in love. Which makes love being the central theme in Flower War homosexual, which is a win.
Headcanon-wise, I see Ote as a product of rape outside of marriage and raised by his single mother, and Ito as adopted into his family. (Also trans but that's just religious trauma projection, still fun for the interpretation.) They both feel dehumanized by society and the church, hence both of them being represented by animals and Ote's song having themes of dehumanization. Even more so once they start dating and the church rejects them. Ote's mom is a neglectful bitch so he just resorts to having homocidal thoughts and being emo (W). Meanwhile Ito, his parents pretty accepting of him and Ito, decides that they should actually die. And good for him tbh. So he kills their fellow church-goers for being homophobic ♡

Especially from your blog. /Love your blog btw/ So what i wanted to ask is is it true JC was disgusted when he learned Mo Xuanyu is cut-sleeve in the novel? I know he was homophobic towards Wangxian and i also heard he was disgusted at MX too but i haven't read the book so i kinda need someone to fish it out of there if it's true because you see JC stans are claiming "JC isn't homophobic, he is disgusted because WWX is his brother and he don wanna see his bro with anyone". Boy...
