With other men, they are aggressive, harmful, and crippling. But with their partner, Tag Team wrestlers are unfailingly loving, supportive, and affectionate. They dress just alike too, and sport shiny gold belts like huge, exaggerated wedding rings.
Wrestling taught me that every man needs just one good, reliable Tag Team partner. It is the ideal relationship.

Camilla and Gideon sparring in an extra homoerotic way? 👀
ok yeah i started thinking deeply about this. them sparring and then cam gets gideon down onto the mat and it turns into wrestling. cam keeping her cool but gideon just BLUSHING big time bc they're in a compromising position, like the kind of position where their crotches are bumping up against each other. she's so wet she's worried it's gonna soak through her pants. and cam ofc KNOWS the effect this is having on gideon and maybe she has some fun with that while playing dumb >:3

Last chapter of Maybe Baby is up! Nice long one. Involves kissing, dirty jokes, and two dudes pretending that wrestling isn’t super erotically charged.
Excerpt:
“Have you eaten?” Steve asked. “I’ve got… um. Cheese and bread and girl scout cookies. That’s actually about all I have.”
“You’re a true foodie, Harrington,” Eddie said. “But no, I’ve eaten.”
“I’ve never actually had anyone but Robin and Dustin over.”
“Not even girls?”
“Just Robin.”
“Where do you take your dates?”
“I’m kind of… not really playing the field right now.”
“Really.” Eddie raised an eyebrow teasingly. “Saving yourself for someone special?”
Steve threw a sleeve of Thin Mints at Eddie.
“‘Saving myself’ sounds like I have a chance.”
Eddie grunted sympathetically.
“Robin told me that Nancy wants to be single for a while,” Eddie said. Steve handed Eddie a Guiness and sat on another one of the large sofa cushions.
“Yeah, Nancy told me that,” he said, distractedly.
“Sorry, dude.”
“Sorry? What for?”
“About Nancy.”
“What about–” Understanding bloomed on Steve’s face. “OH. Nancy and I weren’t on a date. That’s not what that was.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“You gave her a Puffalump.”
“Oh my God, will people stop talking about the Puffalump? She liked it, so I gave it to her. What would I do with a hippopotamus made of parachute material?”
Eddie couldn’t help it. He shot Steve a slow wicked smile with an arched eyebrow. Steve punched him on the arm.
“Get your mind out of the gutter.”
“I didn’t say anything!”
“Why do you even care if we’re dating anyways?”
“I don’t.”
“Okay then.”
“Okay.”
They sat in silence for a moment. Then Steve turned on Eddie.
“Okay now I have to know. What could I possibly do with a Puffalump that could deserve that evil facial expression.”
“I gave you no facial expression.” Eddie tried for a face of complete bland innocence.
“You looked like the fucking grinch.”
Eddie's knee bounced. He took a long sip of beer.
“You really want to know?”
“Yes.”
“Okay, let me be clear, I’ve only heard people talk about this. I’ve never done it, obviously.”
“Uh huh. What have you heard?”
“I’ve heard that some guys cut a hole, and—“
Steve clapped his hands over his ears.
“NO WAIT! Oh god, I take it back! I don’t want to know!”
“I knew one guy who would get a little plastic bag and fill it with lotion, and then–”
“Oh my God shut up!”
They were both laughing. Eddie marveled at how easy it was to be with Steve. He knew that Steve wasn’t interested, and that broke him open. but just being nearby Steve made him so happy he almost forgot how much it hurt.
“You said you wanted to know,” Eddie said.
“I change my mind! Jesus!”
Eddie gave a smug grin that made Steve suck in his breath.

In general, I'm noticing a lot of Faith-in-Buffy on this rewatch that I missed on previous watches. 'Prophecy Girl' has a lot of it (after she dies, but also her smile while she's fighting vamps at the start of the episode), and obviously Buffy in 'When She Was Bad' is full of Faith.
And now, in 'What's My Line pt. 2', it's astonishing how much Buffy is Faith to Kendra. The way she provokes her, tries to bring out the passion in her - it's so Faith, so much a mirror of Buffy and Faith's relationship, with Buffy in the Faith roll. Just, you know, less homoerotic.
... I mean, it's still pretty homoerotic. Just... less so.
