My tribute to Paul Roma continues with this edited video depicting the stud's utter dominance over hunky jobber, Davey Rich. Sure, Romeo Roma is pure eye candy, but there is also something very sexy about his hairy-chested jobber too! That chunky dad bod and those bulging little trunks on Davy Rich, are you serious?! I'm in love.

We get to see Roma's trademark Over-the-Knee Backbreaker Series in the video, where he demonstrates his power by repeatedly hoisting up his opponent and dropping the poor dude's spine across his knee to bust his back. So brutal and merciless! That one always turns me on, and I don't think I'm the only one because I've heard other wrestling lovers mention his OTK gimmick as a favorite.

The Bearhug by Buddy Rose was of the sexiest collages in my old "Spotlight on Paul Roma" gallery, posted to my old Wrestling Arsenal website 20 years ago. The classic Fat > Muscle trope was a turn-on 40 years ago when Rose hugged Roma, as it still was 20 years ago when I first blogged about it, as it still is today.

To update the image, I went and found the match on YouTube and created the following animated GIF. The fat blond puts the squeeze on my Muscle Hunk as he sells his agony with an orgasmic expression, his back and shoulder muscles looking just spectacular.

I posted these images to a fanboy gallery in honor of "Pretty" Paul Roma on my old Wrestling Arsenal website 20 years ago this week. I had a big gay crush on Roma for decades (or at least, I got off on many of his matches if that counts as a crush.) What a hunk!

Revisiting this old gallery, I'm pleased with my images and my old captions. I could really write 'em back in the day!

So I gave this old Thirst Post some touch-ups today, combining the captions within the images as I do nowadays, and just marveling at young Roma's muscular beauty all over again.

Damn I love seeing my Roma getting double-teamed! Old wrestling crushes never die -- especially now that we can preserve their photos and videos digitally for eternity.

Yes I still have a man crush on Zack Clayton, even though I believe he is no longer wrestling for AEW. So I appreciated seeing a compilation video recently posted to YouTube focusing on his past punishments, defeats, and humiliations.

My man takes some massive abuse in his snug little red trunks. Why do I always enjoy it when they hurt the ones I love?

I mean, they had to know. When they featured HIM flexing THAT bare torso, in THOSE bright white tights and laced up boots. They just HAD to know what readers like me were going to do with this centerfold.

As more and more people bought televisions in the 60s, the more opportunities they had to watch some pro wrestling action in the privacy of their own homes. Often married men, they'd do anything to get their wives out of the house for a few hours while the wrestling was on. Giving them money to go to the hairdressers etc. Neighbours who were friends would convince their wives to go to the mall together. "Take your time ladies, we're just gonna watch the game and have a few beers"

Neighbours, work colleagues, friends from church... These men, sometimes in groups, once the coast was clear, would put on the wrestling gear they'd bought from the local sports shops (usually singlets) or mail order from ads in the back of wrestling magazines, and watch some rasslin. They might sit together, beer in one hand, cock in the other, watching. Maybe suck each other off a bit. They would be so insanely horny from watching the wrestling on tv that they would then wrestle each other, copying the moves they'd just watched. Basements and living rooms all around the world, when wrestling was broadcast, would have grown men wrestling each other. And often fucking each other too. They would have to hide all the cuts and bruises from their wives.

All week these men would obsess over the next time they could do it all again.

A nice classic pro Elbow Smash by Bam Bam Bossio on his fallen opponent, the Handsome Strangler. Then he hooks the leg for a near pinfall, offering the viewers some alluring view of his opponent's bikini briefs and bulge. Yup, works for me.

If at first you don't succeed (in getting us off), try try again. Bossio unleashes another picture perfect Elbow Drop and an even better Look-At-His-Nuts pinfall attempt.

Today's Scissor celebration comes from a vintage black-and-white match recently posted to YouTube. The great Pat O'Connor is in the ring against Lorenzo Parente ("Puh-REN-tay", whom I'm calling the "Master of the Scissors.")

We see Parente apply no less than 7 Headscissors on Mr. O'Connor! This HAD to be the greatest number of Scissors in a wrestling match ever... (At least before wrestleporn was invented and we started seeing fetish vids like The Science of Scissors, Parts 1 and 2.)

When did this match occur? According to the Cageside database, O'Connor and Parente wrestled on 17 March 1962 (and of course O'Connor would win on St. Patrick's Day). In the video clip, we hear mention of an upcoming show on "Friday April 6th." I googled it and in fact, 6 April 1962 was a Friday so I believe this video is probably their 17 March 1962 bout from St. Louis:

I was surprised to hear the commentator (who I think is St. Louis baseball legend Joe Garagiola) talking about astronauts and planet Mars -- this is happening 7 years before the moon landing, but I suppose there were test flights into space and everyone was excited about winning the Space Race against the Commies. He also reads an advertisement for Busch Bavarian beer, right in the middle of the match (which made me want to crack open a cold one, holler at the wife and kids, and watch some good old wrasslin.)

This is a sensory overload of Old School manliness: wrasslin, beer, a baseball legend, space exploration talk, and lots of Scissoring. And now I'm hard AF!

I have unusual tastes, admittedly.

This one time, at band camp, one of the drummers wore a headband to practice, like to keep the sweat out of his eyes. Dude was sort of an insufferable twat, real cocky without earning it. But he looked like one of the Midnite Rockers with his longish hair spilling over his brightly-colored band.

I was so horny for wrestling, I started having feelings for Drummer Boy -- his $3.95 headband transforming him into a Baby-Face Rasslin Stud in my private fantasies.

Anyway I was very turned on by anything wrestling adjacent, especially when I was about 15 or 16.

It's hard to explain to modern fans how deprived and desperate we were for wrestling content. How we'd scour the TV listings to find it. How we'd have a semi all morning, knowing it would be airing soon.
