I heard sessrins are angry about the manga though. Theyre saying he made moroha steal Setsuna from towa.
He as in the mangaka?
There is a huge difference in the girls' backstory here—SPOILERS BELOW—and, honestly, it's a drastic improvement narratively and for the characters.
The brief idea is that one night about a year after all the kids were born (Moroha being older than the twins in the manga), InuYasha showed up at Kaede's house with a ~mystery acquaintance of his father~ (Riku) and tells her that he, Kagome, Rin, and the babies are all leaving.
Years later, Kaede finds Moroha and Setsuna abandoned in a flaming wreck. Towa and all the adults are missing.
So Kaede takes them in, of course. And the girls grow up together—which makes sense! It gets rid of unnecessary trauma and side characters like the wolf lady, and condenses the plot while also giving Setsuna and Moroha a reason to be close to each other. It's a strong plot! It makes sense!
And it gives Towa an existing group to insert herself in, the same way Miroku was added to InuYasha, Shippo, and Kagome's tight-knit group. Riku is also set up as a villain or suspicious character correctly, and Sesshomaru doesn't attack InuYasha for no reason—in fact, he trusts him, and it builds off of where they were at the end of the original series.
Just because Moroha and Setsuna are given an existing bond doesn't mean she's "taken" from her sister. It means the narrative can focus on building their relationship solely instead of each of the girls having to build to relationships with each other.

have you seen the new hny manga chapter?? if you have, are you okay with sharing what are your thoughts on it 🙏
I just finished reading it, here are my thoughts:
- Miroku and Sango give a damn about their best friends' daughter, what a concept! But Sango saying "I hope Kagome and the others are alright" was underwhelming imo since she hasn't seen them in 3 years
- It was so cute how Moroha wanted to go play with Hisui and Kingyo!
- My friend thought it was ooc of Miroku to yell at a crying child, I was like "So your fave is mischaracterized in a spinoff? welcome to the club!" lmao
- I can't tell Rin and Kagome apart most of the time
- Jaken's "human" form is terrifying
- It wasn't Kagome holding Moroha, just some unmothers. Disappointed but not surprised
- The girls are actually motivated to find their parents and stop the world from getting destroyed, what a concept! Even Towa cares about saving Kagome since she's a Higurashi (as she SHOULD). I still can't believe half of season 1 of yashahime was "fillers" and the girls forgot about the plot 90% of the time.
- Sota did research about food in the feudal era while Kagome was traveling with Inuyasha, so cute
- Rin is still in the tree so I'm guessing Inukag will still be in the border of the afterlife.... really disappointing
Overall the chapter was fine, a lot of battles and some new info. The translation is here if anyone wants to read it (I'll reblog the post after this).

I can relate with the anon who hasn’t watched the anime so how does inuyasha end? (Manga+anime)
If I’m not mistaken there are not ships canon besides inukag and mirsan or are there more?
The three kids aren’t acknowledged as canon as they’re part of the hny verse, right?
SPOILER ALERT!
Inuyasha might be a feudal fairy tale, but it's a fairy tale nonetheless. You got magical elements, good and evil characters, enchanted setting, fantastical creatures... and a happy ending.
After finally defeating the villain and bringing (relative) peace to the feudal era by erasing the Jewel of Four Souls from the world... After defying time, space againd and again to meet and then coming back to each other... After three years apart... After so much hurt, trauma and growth... There wouldn't be a happy ending if these two didn't end up together.
Kagome was forcefully locked away in her own era for three years after they won the final battle. Inuyasha went to the well every three days waiting for her to come back, until it opened again and allowed her through again, so they could be together.
Miroku and Sango also got their happily ever after. They married and started a family. Two twin girls and a baby boy. Inuyasha and Kagome, on the other hand, didn't get any canon children, although it's a given that they would definitelly want some eventually. And even though the cerimony was never showed, they were canonically married.
As for sᴇssʜᴏᴍᴀʀᴜ and ʀɪɴ, she was 11 years old when it ended and their relationship remained familial and platonic, with sᴇssʜᴏᴍᴀʀᴜ doing his own thing but still coming back to the village he left ʀɪɴ to visit her and bring her gifts as a good guardian does since it would be too dangerous to let her come along.
And that was all. The manga got an extra chapter for charity placed six months or so after Kagome's return, but nothing substancial changed. Moroha, Setsuna and Towa only exist in ʏᴀsʜᴀʜɪᴍᴇ, but on the other hand they're also the only ʏᴀsʜᴀʜɪᴍᴇ characters designed by Rumiko Takahashi herself, as far as I know.
So it's really up to us to decide. Personally, I took Moroha and ran ages ago. She is perfect and everything I care about or expected of an Inukag child. I can't see Setsuna and Towa as canon, though. Not in regards to Inuyasha. Not with ʀɪɴ being their mom.

"A Beybattle Would You Like to See"

This is maybe too biased, but I really want to see Tyson vs Raul.
In Rising, both of Tyson and Raul is individual beyblader who is being the representative of their teams.
Well, it would be good if they have their individual battle to represent their team.
I will talk both from G Revolution (anime) and original manga.
First, let's talk about G Revolution. In episode 22, we know that Raul really wants to have solo battle to prove himself.
I think it wouldn't be limited on his battle with Mathilda. Raul was getting more confident to battle by himself.
He would like to get more solo-beybattle, but I guess he hold himself to do solo-beybattle because of BBA Revolution's request to do tag battle in episode 26.
Julia seems realized to Raul's desire for his solo-battle, but it's also seemed that Raul hold his desire because for the sake of his sister and his team.
Next, from original manga. Raul had his battle with Tyson, but it was just speed battle and stopped because of Raul's incident.
And the twins were still in team tag in world championship, not a solo-battle.
We know, both of manga and anime have similarity : Almost all Tyson's rivals have their desires to battle Tyson and win as the world champion.
Probably Raul has same desire to battle Tyson by only himself. As an individual beyblader in F Sangre + M, Raul should chance to solo-battle with Tyson.
I'm sure Tyson will still absolutely win from his beybattle with Raul. But, I want to see how Raul develop himself as beyblader in Rising, show his true skill and power by intense battle with Tyson.
Of course Dragoon's power is unbearable and Torch Pegasus isn't that strong, but Raul is quite tactical and makes interesting battle with his tricks.

I am currently stoked with the interpretations of the images which were found in the HNY ED. To be honest, if it wasn't for the people who were posting about HNY, I wouldn't be able to pick up the nice theories they were explaining and they were so damn good.
Sometimes, the imagery of the ED is a foreshadowing of what's coming in the next episodes. I personally think that they're doing this as foreshadowing and I hope that before the "sequel", we'll be able to obtain answers rather than questions.
Let me introduce to you my favorite anime "Attack on Titan". This anime has full heck of foreshadowing because its EDs (S1-S3) always depict images that were unknown to us but eventually those images were further explained in the manga in a bizarre way. I'm not mentioning any spoilers so it's up to you how you can find it for yourself.
I think that the ED of HNY has something to tell and it's kinda weird not to point these out (basing from the posts I see here in Tumblr). Maybe someday can finally unearth the clue to who the mystery mother is if we can see whether the images are truly reliable.

The manga adaptation is SOOOOOO much better because there’s actually InuKag content, Towa and Setsuna are shown NOT being abandoned somewhere, both the kids and the wives are shown to be fleeing from danger TOGETHER, and it’s shown Moroha and Setsuna grew up together and Kaede was there with them. Oh and SHIPPO is mentioned.
I loove that Moroha and Setsuna grew up together! Their friendship was one things I enjoyed in the early episodes of HNY and I was so mad when Sunrise stopped giving them nice moments after episode 8 for no reason...
They are so tiny! 🥺 Also, it makes sense for them to have to face bullies since racism against hanyo didn't magically disappear, lol.
I don't fully understand the plot yet because I haven’t seen all the pages translated but it seems like Kagome, Inuyasha and Rin left together with the kids on some kind of weird vehicle (with Riku too??) but then 3 years later Moroha and Setsuna returned alone? The plot seems completely different from the anime so I’m curious to see where this is going. Like you anon I like this better than Sesshomaru’s plan of leaving the twins in the forest, letting Zero burn the forest, and sealing Inuyasha and Kagome “because they’re hotheads and would attack Zero without thinking” :|

This may seem like a stupid question, but do you think that even though the mangaka himself said it was going to be more of a "What-If", that the IY fandom, specifically the InuKag fandom, are going to start considering the YH manga canon since people seem to be liking the inukag additions into it, even though it looks like Moroha AGAIN isn't raised by her parents?
I know it's stupid, and a little bit selfish, but I just don't want to be the odd one out where I don't consider the YH manga canon due to InuKag's separation from Moroha (which looks like that still happens in the manga).
I guess I've just really liked on how all of us simultaneously agreed YH was shit and took our favorite new characters to make our own post-canon w/ them where they are never screwed over, that I'm kind of afraid that if the YH manga actually continues to be good, even with the separations, then fans are gonna stop making their own post-canon stuff where no one is screwed over and start proclaiming Manga YH as the "True Canon".
I know that's stupid and selfish and that everyone is entitled to enjoying whatever it is that they want to personally call "canon", but I just hope new post-canon content where Moroha is raised by InuKag doesn't start dwindling down, you know what I'm trying to say?
I'm so sorry for the long post and for sounding like an entitled brat, this has just been weighing on my mind all day since seeing people's reactions to inukag w/ the new YH manga chapter and I just thought that maybe expressing my feelings might make me feel better.

I don't think people who hated Inukag's situation in Yashahime will suddenly love to write about it just because the manga is better. I think people are enjoying the new chapter of the HNY manga because it's giving us glimpses of Inukag and Moroha together. I think most people who love Moroha want to see her happy and raised by her parents, so I don't think the manga will negatively affect the amount of fanarts and fanfics we get about that at all. If anything, it might inspire people to make more?
Also, I think the HNY manga creates a very interesting situation for people who argue that "everything that is approved by Rumiko is canon". Because both the manga and anime were approved by her, both are placed after the end of the manga, both use the same characters, but they're different stories. If canon means "these events happened in the world/timeline of the IY manga", then how can they both be canon if they conflict each other? This is why to me it makes perfect sense to say that they're a "what if" scenario.

oh hny I have a LOT of opinions on that, I´ll put it under a cut cause of spoilers and um I think I´m the only one who hates it and am scared that ppl will misunderstand >.<
okay so first of all the things I liked:
- I loved Eren´s development apart from the things I´ll get into later
- I loved that Mikasa went through and killed him, realizing that it was the only way
- everyone is alive and well!! yay!!! (well apart from Eren but his death was pretty clear from the start)
- Levi lives, if you know me that´s all that matters to me really (like fuckkk I named my cat after the guy, he´s my fave anime character and I feel like ppl always forget cause I don´t post a lot of aot but that´s cause I can´t write for it)
now the things I disliked:
- the whole Eren x Mikasa thing, but not because I don´t ship it or smth stupid like that
- I just don´t like it because it feels so off for the whole series, I mean yeah Mikasa always loved him but Eren didn´t. For me personally it never felt like Eren loved her back. And honestly idc what ppl say: Mikasa´s character development and character suckkks because:
- I HATE how she´s reduced to being a love interest the whole time, she had scuh great potential but no, her chara is just Eren centered and I hate it
- while we´re at it: since when it aot a high school romance manga where they confess and talk abt love???
- okay I´ll give it to them tho since love was always a great topic, but I always liked the subtle way it was discussed, I didn´t like the scene between Armin and Eren because of that
- because it feels so sudden and unnatural to me
- also while we´re on the topic of ships (this point is just petty and for fun):
- if Eren and Mikasa had their happy ending why didn´t Armin and Annie >:((
