Had another go at doing a sorta poster-esqe design

This time inspired by the IF Blood Choke by @blood-choke , since it's a very visceral read I felt I had to do something up to par with that

All that was going though my head making this was "squish heart" and "gradient map with lesbian flag"

the implication that h.zoroarks as a whole forgot their original typing as the generations and time passed w them being born :(

I mean yeah😔 considering Spice would've frozen right after hatching and only vaguely heard of black furred zoroarks, in the same way Sugar's probably only heard vague stories of ghost type zoroarks from her grandma or whtv. Makes sense that dark type zoroarks would be a weird thing to him

while im thinking about qtubbo i know many people like the comedy of him being a dragon and many of the designs keep him humanoid (often people who draw the eggs as humanoids anyways) but i would like to bring up the idea of qtubbo truly being a dragon. like barely that distinct from the eggs except for the fact that hes bigger (not by much) and can talk and yes he hates how incredibly easy it is to mistake him for one of the eggs but its funny when it happens (and it does. all the time)

if theres one thing im a huge sucker for, it's monster ecology. Monster hunter sometimes misses/goes for the rule of cool and "if the monster looks bad its probably dangerous and we should kill it NOW" and like. sometimes loses me. But sometimes they're fucking spot-on with designs and lore and ecological interactions.

Tbh, it is such a devastating concept to have a loved one die and then spend the rest of your life trying to bring them back, crossing so many lines in the process, maybe never succeeding, maybe actually managing to get them back, but not fully, never fully

if i did a second nuzlocke with sicely and anthea idk if itd be a sequel or not. on the one hand them getting to know each other all over again might be tedious, on the other hand i'd have to think about where the next part of their adventure and character development could take them. if per aspera ad astra is about "through hardships to the stars" aka learning what it means to struggle to get what you want + identifying what you want, whats the next thing for sicely and anthea to learn, and what game would be best to tie that theme into? pkmn BW has a pretty specific theme to it (though what exactly the truth and ideals are is left vague)
