Welcome to my New Blog!
Hello! This is my secondary blog where I will be sharing my views about films and series I watch. This is not strictly a review blog, rather more of me rambling and fangirling about the media I consume because none of my friends share the same taste as me.
My Film Philosophy
I do not watch films to relive reality or gain information, or even for entertainment for that matter. All I want is to escape into a fantasy world. Consequently, I don't usually criticize what I watch for overlooking logic and reality (when within reason, of course), and prefer simply relishing in the swarm of new fantasies a single film, or sometimes even a scene can give me (for day-dreaming purposes). I am quite easy to impress, I do not look at a film from a critic's eyes, rather from a dreamer's (:P).
Favorite Genres
My taste in movies is not exactly shared by many people. Some may find it questionable sometimes. I am really fond of period films, but that's the more popular choice. I also love gawdy psycho/crime thrillers (especially from the early 2000's). Better if they're on the erotic side of affairs. Most films and series I will write about here will be from either of these two categories as both are top-notch escapism material. Also, I am an aesthete (like everyone these days) and am willing to overlook everything wrong with a film if it's *that* visually appealing.
Favorite Tropes
I can watch the following tirelessly, till the end of time:
Reincarnation plots
Love triangles
Ending up in some secluded mansion in the woods with the owner who happens to be attractive and young but also peculiar and eerie
Complex love-hate relationships
Obsessive stalker girls
Wild character twists
Double-crossing the double-crossers
Ex-lover comes to the rescue when his ex and her husband are haunted by some paranormal entity (which he prolly put behind them in the first place)
_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_•°*°•_
This was just a short introduction about what you can expect from this blog. I know this isn't most people's taste, so if you're into the same kind of films/series as me, let's fangirl together! I would also highly appreciate any recommendations from these genres.
Random Fact: Almost everything I watch is either on YouTube or Dailymotion, so it's free and everybody can watch it. Also, I don't have Netflix.

Upon watching Bepannah, I've realized that the primary reason why Aditya and Zoya worked is because they were equal parts irrational idiots and hopeless romantics.

Hindi (historical fiction, romance) serials that are actually good and you can watch them on YouTube.
•DhruvTara: samay sadi se pere
The story started off with a great premise and all the characters are likable you will probably enjoy the first 300 episodes it gets boring after that but till then it's a great watch.
•Chandrakanta: prem ya pehli
It was a hit of its time. it's based on the book of the same name. the actors have done a great job it has only 52 episodes with a cliffhanger ending because they went off air.
•Prithvi vallabh: itihas bhi rahasya bhi
Another great show with a good plot the ending is rushed but the show was good. You will probably like the characters and the story.

So I have watched like 3-4 episodes of the show Anupamaa in all, and all of those had like months of gap in between (as I have watched it while I am at my grandma's during holidays.)
I have things to say, ahem *clears throat*
What the fuck is going on with vanraj? He should be the next Tumblr pathetic man. I thought he was a bad guy? I mean last time I saw him he was evil in a very pathetic way. Poor dude would be grumpy, giving angry glares and no one would pay him any heed 😭 from somewhere the dude Anuj (who happens to be his ex-wife's bf) would come and make fun of him lol ?
Hot take: Vanraj is in love with Anuj. 😏
And from what I saw today, he is now nice? No more evil? And he is still just as pathetic? My dude, my girl pick a struggle
First you were like, hate Anuj, Anuj bad, Anuj stealing my ex-wife, me jealous that Anuj happy
And now you're like, Anuj, Anuj, Anuj, ANUJ! I need to see Anuj! I NEED TO SEE ANUJ I NEED TO WISH HIM HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥺 PLEASE LET ME SEE ANUJ ANUJ ANUJ
Mai jaunga, MAI ANUJ SE MILNE JAUNGA!!!!!
😭😭😭😭
You're in love with him or what?

@microficmay Day 19 - Humbug
"What? No no no. Potter check this for me, now!" Draco shakes Harry awake while staring at the mobile screen.
Harry, who's almost drifted off to sleep jerks awake and scrambles for his glasses. "Wha- Whassit?"
"I can't find any more episodes," Draco cries.
"Dra- Merlin! The season's probably over. You'll have to wait for a new one."
"What? That's humbug! I can't wait! I need to know what happens. Who pushed Tulsi off the cliff!" Draco whines and Harry snorts turning and going back to bed.
