#helix has been a grumpy old man since we adopted him at 2yo #chicken has been an annoying little sister since we adopted her at 5yo #we’ve had chicken for a year now and helix has definitely warmed up to her and continues to get better #but when he’s grumpy he would prefer she stay far away #chicken #helix #maybe one day they’ll cuddle #helix likes snuggling up to anything warm so it’s possible

kinda still thinking abt the needles phobia thing bc sometimes in my mind im like. sure i dont like needles but i have a tattoo and multiple piercings so it Could be worse i suppose.... but then i remember.

#i almost passed out when my helix got pierced and not from the pain.#i couldnt look at all near my arm when i was getting tattooed.#every time i get a piercing i have to completely ignore that a needle is involved so i can stay calm.#when i pierced my sister's ears i almost passed out after each lobe was done.#when i got vaccinated i could also not look anywhere near the needle.#i will go out of my way to avoid getting blood taken.#i just hope i never get into any kind of accident or have anything happen to me that requires surgery #bc even the thought of multiple injections or an iv drip or getting stitches is enough to have me terrified and almost crying.
