zach and jess's outfits in heartbeat hospital are unironically some of my favorite costumes in musical theatre ever. its about the drama. the boldness. how jess's shirt matches her eyeshadow and how the patterns on zach's shirt are vaguely reminiscent of bloodstains. its about how the deep red of jess's lipstick and the deep red of zach's trousers match. heartbeat hospital is a masterpiece on so many levels but especially the outfits
