Eggplant Dough (cooking)

The eggplant is likened to a pizza dough, sliced and flattened, topped with butter, cheese, red basil, etc., and baked in a toaster oven. Originally I saw it in an article on Tumblr., and it was a long, thin eggplant that was grilled over an open fire, cut into pieces, and shaped into rectangles with seasoning. The conditions weren't that good, and It barely became a heart-shaped Dough.

茄子・ドゥ（料理）

茄子をピッツアのドゥに見立て、切り裂いて平にした茄子にバター、チーズ、赤バジルなどを乗せてオーブントースターで焼いた。もとはタンブラーの記事で見掛けたもので、細長い茄子を直火で焼いて切り裂き、長方形にして味付けしていたが、それほどの好条件ではなく、辛うじてハート型のドゥになった。

I was in the kitchen with Muriel as she bustled around, her kind and sweet demeanor on full display. She was busy preparing heart-shaped cookies for Courage and Dinah, our beloved pets. Muriel was an excellent cook, and her love for them shone through in every treat she made.

I watched as she carefully shaped the dough into perfect hearts, her hands moving with the skill of a seasoned baker. The warm, sweet aroma filled the air, making my mouth water in anticipation.

Muriel glanced over at me with a smile and said, "Oh, dear, these cookies are going to be just perfect for Courage and Dinah. They deserve a little treat, don't you think?"

I nodded enthusiastically, knowing how much our furry friends would appreciate the gesture. Muriel had a heart of gold, and it extended to every member of our little family.

As the cookies baked in the oven, I couldn't help but reflect on the dynamic in our household. Courage, despite his easily frightened nature, was the bravest dog I knew when it came to protecting Muriel and Dinah. He'd go to great lengths to keep them safe, even if it meant facing his deepest fears.

And then there was Dinah, a sweet and shy spaniel who had captured Courage's heart. She was as pretty as a picture and had a crush on Courage that was impossible to miss. Their budding romance was adorable to witness.

Finally, the cookies were ready, golden and delicious. Muriel carefully placed them on a plate and handed it to me. "Now, let's go give these to our special pups," she said with a twinkle in her eye.

Courage and Dinah were waiting in the living room, their tails wagging with excitement. As Muriel and I presented them with the heart-shaped cookies, they dove in with enthusiasm, savoring every bite.

It was moments like these that made our little family so special. Muriel's kindness, Courage's bravery, and Dinah's sweetness all combined to create a home filled with love and warmth.

As I watched them enjoy their treats, I couldn't help but smile and think, "The things we do for love."
