...I forgot I had this drawing KFHDJNS
This was supposed to be part of a bunch of other doodles but then I forgot so ig I'll just post this by itself lmao
I can't remember what the original context of this was besides Night Bear meeting Naughty Bear and how that interaction would go
I could write like...a whole paragraph about these two actually but I'll just leave it here.... :)

nearly done with my op reread and for the longest time my theory was that the d marked the descendants of the people native of the island that eight hundred years ago fought the twenty nations, but rereading the part about lili I thought maybe it's more lax and it marks everyone who opposed the current government in general, not just those from the island - she was the queen of one of the twenty kingdoms after all, and imu didn't seem to know the nefertaris had a d in the name as well, but before the war there would have been no reason to hide it? so i think it's something they added to their names later, maybe to recognise each other as allies? or something? the kozuki were obviously allied too and don't have a d though, so I can't say this theory makes a hundred percent sense. also i find interesting how law is hiding the water part of his name too together with the d, i wonder if that has any further meaning? another interesting thing is that there seems to have been some form of prophecy or prediction about what's currently happening in the manga, since oden knew he had to wait twenty years and the sea monsters in the oden flashback on fishmen island were talking about it too... maybe a prediction about a war? since oden wanted to unleash pluton. I wonder what exactly they found out on laugh tale that made them all laugh when the events the wg is keeping secret seem to be this tragic... also, i think i never even noticed during my first readthrough of egghead but there's someone offshore with blackbeard's flag? a small boat, it seems, but I think atm we know all blackbeard pirates are either on the pirate island or fighting against the hearts (;;;) so I wonder who exactly that is? also, I didn't catch this either first time around but I feel like the germa might just be heading there as well right now lmao the thing with kuma returning to mariejois happening so soon after vp talked about the ancient robot attacking mariejois and no one knowing why is also suspicious to me, I wonder if vegpunk used data from that robot to turn kuma into a cyborg and that's tied to why he returned there for apparently no reason...?? anyway I thought rereading would help me clear up some questions but instead it left me with even more kkkk should have figured

Honestly, if Sarai actually knew to ask all the right questions about Dark Magic, that almost makes it worse that she went along with it anyway. She said all the ways that DM was bad then went along with it and said "oh well, gotta support my husband, y'know?" If Callum did that, people would be raking him over the coals for all time.
GIRL. WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE.

Yes, I watch MSA, and now, I’m honestly on the mood to see these guys get drunk together after what they both went through lol.
I always thought Austin and Caleb deserved better, but after editing them (probably gonna come out after Holy Week ^^) with that initial motivation, I just felt worse for them. Austin was a well-written character, and I can’t believe Emma just straight up only waited for Caleb to snap, so she can have a reason to break up with him lol (he’s an ultimate bf material and she wasted him XD). They’re flawed characters esp. Austin but they still loved their gfs no matter what.
I am aware that you can’t force or stop your feelings towards a person, but the girls still cheated with these guys who loved, cared and made so much effort for them with their very own brothers. I just really feel bad for Caleb more because he continually supports and believes in his gf only for him to be villainized in the end just because he reacted in a way normal people do when they find out their partner is cheating on them with their brother.
For Austin, he’s one of my favorite guys (even if this art style isn’t my bias as I’m only watching MSA for a good story) and I’m at least happy he got a redeeming moment and closure. Tbh, Sam and Apollo could have been one of MSA’s best love stories if only she wasn’t dating Austin when she started to have feelings for her bf’s brother. Girl legit thought how her bf’s twin is hotter in their first meeting lol. Austin might be a jerk sometimes, but he wanted her to be happy.. and Apollo too. He just suffered like Apollo, and he deserved to be happy after sacrificing his feelings for the people most important to him.

I just caught up and while I am not as thrilled as others that the Todofam "finally got agency" and Dabi's misery was understood by their big quirk use moment, the thing that really made my jaw drop was the way Midnight's death and it's effect was minimized to build a generic understanding with the enemy in a rushed fight. It felt worse than whatever the heteromorph racism angle was. Maybe because the spinoff had me grow fond of Midnight's character.
Oh, yeah that was a weird, very out of place moment. I wouldn't say it was as bad as the heteromorph racism thing because that was actually insulting to RL issues, Hori clearly didn't research at all before he wrote it, but it's not great.
The main issue I think is that it was unearned in every sense of the word and slapped in there to tie up a loose end.
Midnight's death was handled terribly from the get go, with her being killed off screen by a nobody villain. Then it was only really brought up maybe twice in passing. Despite the kids crying over her corpse they didn't talk about it afterwards really and we never got any moment where her death was relayed to Izuku or the other 1A members not present to see her body.
It becomes even more of an issue that Mic and Aizawa didn't get much of a moment to really reflect on it either despite how close they were shown to be with her in the spin-off.
To have Mina suddenly understand the villain that killed her doesn't hold any narrative weight. He was a nobody and Mina never showed real drive to find who killed Midnight anyway. The villain who killed her has no reason to have done so, given she was pretty much helpless when he and his guys offed her. In fact he seemed to kill her just because he could.
It does nothing for the story, and to be honest her death was entirely unnecessary, and seems to have been done only to give the war arc more weight by killing off more then background characters. Cutting it and just having her be incapacitated like Gran Torino to take her out of the story would have worked better.

literally obsessed with the idea of fenix meeting vesper parents, they would hate him so much. her mom would say shit like "don't settle for the crumbs like i did" (looks meanly at her husband who in turn looks at her and thinks i love my terrible wife that hates me so much) and her dad would be like ah so going out with fenix today? wait...(takes his gun)

William:I had a short, kind-of dating this one girl, and she was the only experience I’ve ever had with an actually crazy partner.
William:She would try to tell me that my friends would talk shit about me behind my back.
William:She’d say things like... Let’s call him Josiah. She was like “Yeah, Josiah shoved me in a locker and called me a bitch.” Which was a total lie.
Lenox:Josiah would never.
William:I don’t know why I use fake names. His name’s Aiden. I don’t think he’d be upset I mentioned him. Haven’t talked to him in a while.
Lenox:I bet he’s in jail.
William:No, he’s not. I saw a picture of him on Instagram the other day.
Silvia:He’s pushing people into lockers!
Lenox:Truuuue.
