i love the big three kids dynamic bc i could see them hanging out together but it immediately descends into thalia, percy, and nico chasing each other around and fighting and insulting one another in a loving sibling way and jason and hazel watching it go down then looking at each other and going “ice cream? :)” “sure! :D” and having a treat to watch the show with

The Argument Against Caleo
Spoilers up to Blood of Olympus and beyond. Beware! (Or not, the book series has been out for a few years, get over it). I wrote this after seeing a user wondering why people didn’t like Caleo, or in some cases, hated it. Here, I want to explain the answer as much as possible while doling out my own points.
One of the main grievances I have as a fan of Leo Valdez would be the ship Caleo, or Leo x Calypso. It’s a complicated ship, to say the least, with multiple issues that make me question why people like the ship. And I admit it, they initially had some chemistry, but there’s multiple issues that Uncle Rick produced through making such a relationship that makes it extremely open to criticism, criticism which I will explain through this post.
One of my main points against them is that the ship was created on a very limited time scale. Although we aren’t given an exact date to date of when Leo and Calypso met to when they fell in love, we can safely estimate it to be a week at best. Such a limited amount of time from going through the multiple stages of a relationship already stresses the limits of the suspension of disbelief.
A counterexample would be Percabeth, or Percy x Annabeth. Throughout the series, we aren’t introduced to them being romantically involved until the Titan’s Curse, which was two years after they met. Specifically, this is brought up by Aphrodite, the goddess of love herself. Admittedly, Percy and Annabeth were twelve years old when they first met, when romance was definitely out of the picture, especially with a quest to get the Master Bolt.
However, from there we get to see multiple examples of their character depth, ranging from their respective fatal flaws to their ambitions, hopes and dreams, and their friendship. We get to see the slow build up of their chemistry, which was a really good writing move on Uncle Rick’s part. These characters took their sweet time to get to where they wanted to go, and despite the false romantic lead of Rachel, they still got together.
On the other hand, we don’t see enough of this between Leo and Calypso — we only see one book where they interacted with each other in The House of Hades, and that was only for a handful of chapters. While they are definitely older so they can jump straight to romance (some may say too old, but I’ll get to that) its still a pretty huge gap to jump through without making it stick. This makes it hard to root for a ship when it is built on a rather faulty foundation from the ‘they just met’ to ‘they get together’, especially when they don’t have a lot of events to show their chemistry.
Which brings me to Ogygia, which has raised a few red flags for me when looking at it from a retrospective point of view. Now, we know what the main issue of the island is that the hero who landed on said island can’t leave until Calypso falls in love with them. And we’ve seen this with Percy during the Battle of the Labyrinth, where he lands in the island and Calypso falls in love with him while tending to his wounds from, you know, being erupted from freaking Mt. St. Helens. Needless to say, this falling in love with each other montage happened quickly to the point of suspicion, which sets up the complication that Calypso and Leo might have fallen in love due to magical intervention.
And hear me out, because although this  might be a pretty big pill to swallow, we have evidence for this through Percy. It only takes one chapter for Calypso and Percy to meet, and the next he’s willing to consider leaving Camp Half-Blood and Annabeth behind to live on the island when Hephaestus gives him the choice to leave Ogygia or stay. We don’t even get an explanation on why Percy considered giving it all up just so he can be with her. All we know is, girl meets boy, now they want to live on an isolated island forever. It’s especially absurd considering Percy’s hamartia (fatal flaw) is freaking loyalty to those he loves.  Needless to say, It’s a huge YIKES, especially when we apply it to Leo and Calypso.
It also raises the possibility that the romantic relationship between them is doomed to failure. And if you guys want to fight me on this, let’s look at Jason and Piper, a couple whose relationship started with a similar foundation. Piper had romantic memories implanted into her brain by Hera through the use of the Mist, while Jason was reduced to a Tabula Rasa (a blank slate for those who lack culture) by said goddess. They broke up before the Trials of Apollo because it was clear that when the dust settled, Piper had been aware that their romance was a lie and that their intentions to stay together was a mix of delusion and pressure from freaking Aphrodite. Leo and Calypso get together under what is arguably a very similar set of conditions if Ogygia’s magic had any influence on their relationship, and that this magic could wear off if given enough time.
Third, and here’s a pretty big one for me, would be Calypso’s character, mainly because there are a lot of unfortunate implications attached to it. In The Blood of Olympus, she was turned into the divine equivalent of Princess Peach, with Leo being her Mario (except he saves her with a badass metal dragon). Its extremely unnecessary to make a character, especially as one such as Calypso, get  turned into the typical reward of a B-Class action movie. It’s insulting and puts her up as a trophy, a narrative that is definitely not ok by any means necessary.
In another direction, Calypso is also really, really worrying when things don’t go get her way. First, let’s look at The Odyssey, the first myth she pops up. Calypso had imprisoned Odysseus for ten years on her island until Hermes said to let him go, and although it gives them plenty of time to fall in love, it also raises the implications of stockholm syndrome. Then we’ve got the fact that Calypso cursed Annabeth out of spite, implicitly saying that she wished the daughter of Athena would suffer the same isolation that she did, which came to reality when Percy and Annabeth met the Arai in Tartarus. And Annabeth wasn’t even aware that she was still in Ogygia, much less intentionally intervened in the matter. When Percy left Ogygia, rather than be angry at Percy, Calypso cursed Annabeth out of all people to suffer the same loneliness and misery she went through. That’s some Hera at her worst levels of spite.
Through such evidence we can see that Calypso is extremely wrathful towards those who break her heart even though they don’t want to. It certainly implies that Calypso isn’t in a good state of mind, and could easily repeat said actions if provoked. We could almost compare it to Medea and the original Jason, but at least in that case, Medea has every right to be pissed off at Jason and take her revenge. Calypso’s curse and how she handles things certainly implies a level of immaturity that would end in disaster if they broke up.
One issue that, I’ll admit is more from my personal point of view is that the ship took a lot of Leo’s character and threw it in the garbage in Blood of Olympus. Though we see him do a lot of stuff behind the scenes, the fact that its all for the goal of reaching Calypso just reduced him to someone who is more focused on love than, you know, fighting the evil goddess that was responsible for killing his mom and getting sweet sweet revenge. While the revenge plot can be cliched sometimes, it can be played well, while romance and the typical ‘always save the girl’ trope is just overdone. If Leo had been allowed to, you know, be more focused on other things rather than Calypso, we could have seen a lot more variety in his character.
For example as one of the possible character arcs he could’ve gone through, Leo has always been alone among the couples, often being isolated. Heck, Nemesis herself stated that he would always be the seventh wheel, and that he would never find a place among his brethren. Though some fellow tumblr users have taken this in multiple ways, either saying that he should learn to be happy by himself or that he is socially isolated in the Argo II because of these romantic relationships (I prefer a mix of both). Uncle Rick just giving him a girlfriend seems like taking the easy way out of solving such an issue and abandoning what could’ve been a rather interesting character arc. The relationship isn’t a bad thing if we remove some of the unfortunate implications, but it is a bad way to end what is a complex and realistic problem for a character and in some cases maybe possible in real life.
One more minor but still yikes worthy point is that there’s a huge age gap between them. We’re not talking about the ‘Hazel is 15 and Frank is 17 and in one year that’ll be a problem because then Hazel will be jailbait’ age gap. And even then, we can argue that Hazel is older since she is chronologically ninety-one years old. No, Calypso is older by millennia in terms of mindset and body due to the perks of being a goddess, while Leo is sixteen.
God-to-Mortal relationships are already complicated, even with emotionally and socially well-functioning adults. The fact that Leo is underage, inexperienced with romance (despite his flirting, Calypso was his first kiss), and has been through a freaking ton of trauma in his youth, does not make this okay. At best, they’re both mutually interested in each other but may have different expectations when it comes to a relationship. At worst, Calypso is taking advantage of a boy just so she can get out of Ogygia and possibly dumping him later on like the wrapping of a candy bar. Even though Calypso lost her immortality during The Trials of Apollo, that doesn’t even compensate for the immense age gap alongside Leo’s guilt at the possibility that he might’ve been responsible for her losing said immortality.
Oh, and about Leo... I’m a fan of him, but I can admit that he is in a bad spot both mentally and emotionally throughout the series. He’s lost his mom due to a mix of his own powers and Gaea’s trickery, and never had the chance to fully process that event and come to terms with it. The foster home system alongside his own trauma has forced him to hide his emotions through a façade of happiness and jokes when it’s quite clear to me he needs a therapist, stat. He's also run away from several foster homes, implying this means he was and still is being affected by the event. His mask is still on during The Blood of Olympus considering he hid a lot of things from Piper and Jason.
Speaking about them, not helping this matter is the fact that he’s rather isolated in terms of friendships since Jason and Piper, his supposed best friends are more interested in locking lip rather than, you know, actually hanging out with each other.  He doesn’t have good friendships with the rest of the Seven, and the closest ones he does have is with Hazel and Frank. And even then they start off in the wrong spot since Frank is very insecure about possibly losing Hazel to him during Mark of Athena while Hazel in the meantime, is also dealing with the fact that he is the descendant of her possible boyfriend Sammy Valdez.
This could indirectly have made him desperate for affection since he has nobody else to confide in during the rest of the series, which is a bad mental state to be in when one lands on Ogygia, the island that we’ve seen could possibly force two people to fall in love with each other. A romantic relationship is not something that he needs or something that will help him in the future. He needs more than that, and having him in one that could end in disaster is the last thing he needs.
And that does not make him a bad person, much less a bad character. While some who are similarly emotionally and socially isolated may turn to violence or creepy behavior on those they want affection from, Leo does not do that to the other characters. It just means that he as a character needs more time to recover and develop before we go giving him romantic relationships, much less one with Calypso.
That’s not to say that they don’t have some things in common. Both are starved for love and affection, with Calypso being constantly rejected by heroes while Leo was rejected by foster homes and his own family. It’s a trait that they have in common, but it shouldn’t be the only thing that they have in common, especially since it is laced with a trauma that is clear they haven’t had help processing. They need to develop more as characters and as friends before they should be paired together.
So… yeah. The Caleo relationship is, in my eyes, doomed to failure, or at least heavily flawed after taking the above points into account. Uncle Rick, as if seemingly aware of these criticisms, has put the relationship in a rocky place by The Tower of Nero, giving them the possibility of overcoming the above criticisms and their own flaws, or giving fanfic writers an out and pairing Leo with another character or have him single, but happy. Either way, in my opinion Caleo is a bad ship when it comes to how it was created, alongside the flaws and unfortunate implications it has.
While I can see some of the chemistry the ship has, you can’t just use a couple of moments where they get along as evidence that they belong together, especially with the above reasons. That’s like using a band-aid to cover a bullet hole without removing the bullet, stopping the bleeding, and preventing infection. If both characters and their relationship had been given more time to develop, I would understand how they would get together.

headcannons about each individual member kf the seven as dark?
So I decided to split this answer into seven seperate posts because otherwise it would be too long (I'm having to much fun wit this XD)
I'll post the first one here <3
Ok, here we go <3, Hazel: People expected her to change after Franks death She had lost her boyfriend at fourteen no one expected that to be easy So none said anything when she kneeled over his grave for five whole days and nights Reyna simply brought her food and hot chocolate and mourned with her But if they all could have had a look into Hazel's mind they could have seen the slow death of the sweet kind girl she used to be Thoughts of hate begin to burn inside her She asks herself why Juno who saved Franks stick from burning up as a baby refused to do it a second time. The question makes her storm up to Olympus, her brown eyes hard with anger Her friends are with her, Of course, they want to protect each other now that one of them has fallen Juno awaits them in her usual glory, tall with a cloak around her shoulder and .. jewellery precious metals decorating her arms and neck "Why didn't? Do you save him? Was he just a weapon you did not need anymore?!, hazel shouts out her suspicion and now people, gods and demigods alike begin to worry The queen of Olympus remains silent She sees the hatred in hazels eyes and regrets not answering her grandsons screams for help when he burned in the flames Her silence is Hazel's answer and in her growing rage the necklace on Juno's neck starts chocking the goddess Hazel does not feel remorse, only satisfaction as she hears Junos choking It is Percy's hand on her shoulder that snaps her out and Juno's necklace flys into her open hand "You will never use a demigod like that again I will make sure of that. She says and then with one last glare leaves Things are not the same when shes back at camp Jupiter Everything and everyone annoys her, reminds her of what she has lost They are around her all the time like, Leo who reminds her of Sammy, Jason who made Frank Praetor, Percy who loved Frank like a brother Whenever they talk about Frank she feels the desire to yell at them One time when Jason tries to comfort her once again she snaps "You don't have to do this just because you made Frank Praetor and you feel guilty.", Hazel tells him a bit too harshly and Jason leaves her She feels guilty so she does her best to act as grateful as possible from now on The days are very hard for her That is why she loves the night She hasn't forgotten the power rush she got on Olympus and that is why keeps practising She steals weapons from the night patrols She makes the tunnels under the field of Mars change so that they all lead to dead ends When some of the new Rome's war veterans talk about having seen lost loved ones at night Hazel pretends to not listen She just thanks Jason in her thoughts for telling her so much about the ones that fell in the titan war Hazel disappears two weeks after Frank's death The remaining five of the seven are devastated They immediately go searching for her but even after five months there is no sign of her Other demigods start whispering Even Thalia who visits Reyna often is part of those whispers She doesn't know hazel and Frank well and yet what she has heard reminds her so much of the story of a friend she had once lost He had been left alone with his fate with his insane mother just like Hazel Thalia fears that now that Hazel has lost a loved one she will seek revenge just like Luke once did. Nico and Percy are Hazel's greatest defenders They deny every rumour and says that Hazel just needs time to calm down it's the only thing that keeps them from drowning in their guilt Hazell has gone to her old home in Alaska Arion took her there It hurts to be back but here she is saved from the gods who used her and her loved ones She's so sick of being their pawn The years pass and all alone in this cold country Hazel's heart turns to ice A few old men yell insult her with racist phrases She controls the metal ankers on their ships to impale them She hears screams from her neighbour's house at night and so she breaks the metal lock to get in The man who is beating his wife only has a second to look at her before her senses reach metal and they find it......in his
blood She concentrates hand stretched out and the man chokes to death She leaves without a word There is no remorse in her, if the gods let her sweet gentle boyfriend die why isn't she allowed to kill a few bad peopöe One day she decides to return as thoughts about her past cloud her mind Someone has to show the gods that they can't treat their children like this She returns after ten years but does not show herself to her friends Maybe because she worries that they notice how much she has changed Instead, she decides to try to control the labyrinth just like Pasiphae once did The mist helps her to create new tunnels that lead wherever she wants them to go One day they lead to new Rome She just wants to look at how everyone is doing but when she sneaks near the city hidden in her magic she sees something that makes her furious Her friends have moved on She sees them celebrating with other Romans and greeks They celebrate Gea‘s defeat like it wasn‘t just a terrible unnecessary war they had to suffer through She hates that they enjoy their demigod lives They should have told the gods that they want to live normally away from both camps that endanger their lives Unfortunately, that makes her think of Frank and how he has ripped away from his life, his home country just to serve the gods Hazel feels her rage burning like an active Volcano close to erupting She walks up the hill over new Rome and looks down at the glorious city She could bury it without even trying For a moment she thinks about the lives that will cost but then again what else could make the gods notice their flaws She reaches for all the metals buried under the city She hesitates for a moment but then she thinks about Frank, his sweet smile and with a scream the earth starts shaking Buildings and temples collapse People get swallowed by big cracks in the earth There are screams horns are blowing Mist is rising and People hear voices whisper that this is god's fault They have to be punished for their mistakes It‘s like a storm of fog being thickest at the hilltop Hazel‘s old friends are filled with dread as they have seen those powers before Leo decides to fly directly into the mist together with Piper and Jason Hazel sees them approaching and a soft smile appears on her lips The mist lightens All demigods gasp Leo yells in despair He already blames himself for Franks death and now he sees that Hazel the girl he once loved has gone mad Her once curly short hair now long falls around her shoulders Her once brown eyes glow sickly golden as if the riches of the earth have taken control over her It drives him insane and so he rips out a hammer from his tool belt and attempts to attack her Hazel feels deeply hurt by this and so she moves her hands Leo is thrown of Festus's toolbelt made of metal turning out to be his curse Hazel smashes him into the ground a hundred feet under him Festus claws impale Jason and Piper before they have time to react Hazel feels a sting in her heart but she oppresses it The gods and their quest would have killed them anyway Percy and Annabeth are still in the falling city trying to get as many people out of there as possible They both try to ignore the corpses falling from the sky Percy‘s mind is still refusing that the girl he sees as a sister would do this He knows that she has to be stopped but how is he supposed to do that? He still loves her like a sister despite the lives she is taking Her real brother steps up instead Hazel can feel his presence behind her It makes her lose focus The citizens of New Rome cry in relief when the metals stop resurfacing Their city is in ruins but at least it has stopped Before Hazel can react skeleton warriors jump out of the earth restrain her by grabbing her arms She is furious about Nicos interference and struggles to escape „Hazel please it‘s not worth it just surrender and we‘ll talk about this.“, Nico says while he walks up in front of her. Hazel‘s heart breaks at the tortured look in his eyes and she realizes that she is the reason for it She disappeared She came back and murdered
hundreds She did it for Frank but she suddenly asks herself if Frank would have ever wanted to get justice in this way Would he wanted her to become hateful and obsessed with revenge just for him? As she looks into Nico‘s eyes regret strikes her „I……..I‘m sorry.“, She whispers with tears in her eyes. Nico smiles sadly happy that his little sister came to her senses He stretches out his hand to gently touch her cheek Thunder rumbles and suddenly a lightning bold explodes the hilltop right where the children of the underworld Jupiter feels nothing as he watches Percy, Reyna and Annabeth falling to their knees, sobbing and holding each other Hazel Levesque is just another demigod for him, a girl that could not get over her boyfriend Percy buries Hazel next to Frank all by himself New Rome is rebuilt with the help of the greeks The time goes by and slowly Frank and Hazel‘s names are forgotten Juno would love if they had never existed in the first place Whenever demigods speak of them they do it with anger and the queen of Olympus fears that one day a rebellion will start It's not often that their names are talked about but when they are people always refer to them as „Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang. The couple that died in Storm and fire

The New Yorkers (Part 24)
Leo stood around the large, circular table in the dining room. Calypso sat next to him with a grin so wide it was a miracle her facial muscles were still intact.
“So,” Leo started, “I’m sure you’re all wondering why Calypso and I called you to have this delicious dinner-”
“Because you’re a good friend who knows we can’t cook?” Piper questioned.
Leo shook his head and rolled his eyes. “That’s Jason’s problem, not mine.”
“Tell us!” Hazel said excitedly.
“Well,” Calypso said, looking at all of them. Her stomach was so large she had to scoot her chair back from the table to fit. “Leo and I were having a talk about who the godparents should be...”
“Annabeth and I are flattered,” Percy said, which earned him an elbow to the side from Annabeth. He was just happy that for once they were at Leo’s like the good old days, together and in a relationship, and not with Percy drenching Annabeth in disgusting city sludge.
“We chose all of you,” Leo informed his friends happily, finally sitting down. “It takes a village, right?”
Hazel’s golden eyes gleamed. “Oh, Leo! We’re honored!” she said excitedly.
“For real, man,” Frank echoed.
Leo began to eat. “I mean, you really didn’t think Cal and I would be able to choose which of our coupled friends should take care of our daughters in the event of both our untimely deaths, right?” he asked.
“But if you had to choose, it would have been Piper and me right?” Jason asked.
“I mean to be totally honest, it probably would have been Frank and Hazel. They’re the most responsible,” Leo admitted. Frank and Hazel beamed proudly.
The table fell into comfortable conversation. Percy told his friends about his new job, and Hazel and Piper talked idly about how wedding planning was going. Annabeth and Frank fell into a conversation about something related to their studies. Everything was perfectly normal, the way things had been before.
“So, how’s being back together life?” Leo asked his friends.
Annabeth’s face flushed. She knew she’d have to answer the question at some point or another. “It’s great,” she smiled. “Never been better.”
“Jason caught me up,” Leo explained. “Why would somebody want to take your memories anyway? And our memories too, I guess?”
Frank hung his head, suddenly unable to meet anyone’s eyes. Percy squeezed Annabeth’s hand, urging her that it was high time to tell the truth. Annabeth knew deep down he was right but once she said everything, she wouldn’t be able to take it back.
“It was Athena,” Annabeth admitted stiffly. “Long story short, war is brewing on Olympus. Poseidon wants to overthrow Zeus. She thought I would side with Percy and try to destroy her.”
The table was silent for a long while. Calypso frowned in dismay. “Damn, you’re serious?” he asked.
Annabeth nodded. “She came to me a couple weeks ago and admitted as much. Hazel helped us get our memories back. Athena manipulated all of us.”
Jason frowned. He looked hurt, but like he was trying hard not to be. “So you both knew, but you only told Hazel?” he questioned.
“Hazel can control The Mist,” Percy pointed out, coming to Annabeth’s defense. “And of course we wanted to tell you, but we didn’t know how without you thinking I’m suddenly against you or something.”
Jason shook his head. “I’m not my father. I don’t think that,” he said understandingly. He gestured between Annabeth and Percy. “So, I’m assuming your mom is going to defend Zeus?”
Annabeth nodded. She made a face like her food was turning to dust in her mouth. “Yes, you know how Athena would hate to upset tradition,” she spat.
“What about my dad?” Leo asked. “He hates Zeus. He’s a smart guy.”
“Yeah, he’s on Poseidon’s side,” Percy admitted. “So are Hades and Ares. Aphrodite’s siding with Zeus.”
“This is upsetting,” Calypso said. She was no stranger to the gods’ antics. “Again?”
“Again?” Annabeth repeated. “This has happened before?”
Calypso nodded. Her hand rested idly on her stomach and her face turned into a troubled frown. “Yes, a really long time ago. Maybe... five hundred years? Poseidon tried to unseat Zeus and, clearly, he was defeated. Hundreds of demigods died.” She stood up from the table. Leo didn’t try to stop her.
“Oh, no,” Piper said. “What about the camps? They can’t be safe.” If she was thinking the same thing as Annabeth, she was probably concerned for the safety of all her siblings who would have to fight- and possibly die- in a battle they had no stake in.
“We spoke to Chiron. The gods are already going at it. Zeus poisoned the lake at Camp Half-Blood and put a few campers in the infirmary,” Annabeth said dismally. “When the kids show up for summer, it’ll probably only get worse.”
“No,” Hazel said in dismay. She put a hand on Frank’s arm. “You should get in touch with Camp Jupiter, and see-”
“Of course, I will,” Frank assured everyone. “Is there anything we can do? I get that we’re retired, so the gods aren’t exactly going to allow us to ride into battle...”
Percy and Annabeth’s eyes locked. They had a silent conversation- telepathy, it felt like to Percy at times. He nodded to Annabeth, hoping she understood he was encouraging her to tell the truth, but not the parts that were still too sensitive.
“Percy and I went to Olympus,” Annabeth said. “I spoke to Athena. They’re gearing up for war and they’re not going to budge- no matter who has to die. I know we can’t fight but we can do something better.”
“What’s that?” Jason asked.
“You’re not going to like it,” Percy warned him.
Annabeth grit her teeth. “We have to stop worshiping the gods,” she said. She continued before anyone could stop her. “Not that I hate the gods, or want to overthrow them or anything, but this is the only thing we can do. If the gods fade from existence, they can’t wage this war on each other.”
“That’s a bit...much,” Leo said.
“Do you have a better idea?” Percy snapped defensively.
“Well, it does sound like we’re jumping the gun here,” Jason said. “I mean, that’s a pretty big deal. The gods are well... gods.” Percy loved his friend, but he was sick of Jason always trying to do the right thing. He did’t even know if it could be chalked up to him being Roman, because Frank and Hazel were clearly on board.
“Did you not hear Annabeth? Kids are already getting hurt,” Piper said. “I know it’s your dad, but Zeus has never really been a father to you. Plus, he’s done some pretty messed up stuff to well- everybody.”
Percy was glad Piper said it so he didn’t have to.
“Who said it has to be Zeus?” Jason questioned.
“It only makes sense,” Annabeth reasoned. “And Athena. It’s nothing personal. I’m not saying I think Poseidon’s right. But if the two of them lose power, we could stop this.”
“And then what? Poseidon becomes King of the Gods?” Jason asked.
“Would that be a bad thing?” Percy countered. “I didn’t ask for this any more than you did. And why does it matter who wins, as long as war doesn’t break out?”
Jason shook his head again. “No, that’s not what I meant. I understand where Annabeth’s coming from but it’s a lot- fading a god’s essence is way easier said than done.” He sounded like he was backtracking, but Percy didn’t want to point it out and start an argument with his roommate.
“I know,” Annabeth agreed. “Which is why we have to tell both camps. No more offerings to Zeus or Athena. No more fighting in their honor, praying to them- even facetiously. I’m going to convince Chiron to move my siblings to another cabin-”
“They could have mine,” Percy said. “That’d really burn her.”
“Please, she’d disintegrate the cabin the second they moved in,” Leo reasoned.
“Do you think Chiron would go for that?” Piper asked.
Annabeth shrugged. “It can’t hurt to try. I mean, if this has happened before like Calypso said, maybe he’ll be willing to help.” It was obvious to Annabeth Chiron cared about the campers far more than he did the gods. Annabeth felt a little bad for him, having to deal with temperamental, annoying gods for almost five thousand years.
“You’d have to tell the cohorts to remove their offerings from the temples,” Hazel told Frank. “That’ll take a load of convincing.”
“I know,” Frank agreed. “But if it’s going to stop a war, it’s worth a shot.”
Percy clasped his hands together with an uneasy smile. “Well, that went well,”  he said. “Annabeth and I were ready for fights and all out carnage.”
“We understand the mission’s more important than our own feelings,” Jason said. Percy wanted to ask him if he was sure about that.
“That’s the most Roman thing I’ve ever heard you say,” Leo told his friend with a smile. “But for real, whatever happens between the gods, y’all are hands-down my best friends and are totally gonna be the best god parents ever- definitely better than out own.” Hazel cringed at Leo’s dismal joke.
“Good talk,” Piper agreed.
Leo stood up again. “I’m going to find Calypso and then after- board games! Don’t think all this war talk doesn’t mean I’m not still ready to kick your butts!”

BITE: Chapter 8
percy jackson / teen wolf crossover. sorry for the wait!!
8/? - Percy
When Percy came to, Annabeth’s worried face was hovering above him, eyebrows pinched together and grey eyes watering. Her curls were matted to her forehead and she looked like she was about to punch him, but the minute he opened his eyes she immediately softened, dropping her forehead to his.
He felt like he’d been hit by a truck. Creating a small earthquake to crack the ground and get to the water supply beneath had been fine, but controlling that much water and that many people in such a confined space had been relatively difficult. Maneuvering them all out the door and over the heads of the people who had been coming for them had taken a lot of concentration, and he’d lost control of the air bubble he’d had them all in just before they broke the surface, leaving everyone except for him drenched.
He felt like he needed to dive headfirst into the ocean to recover. He wasn’t sure how long he’d been out for, but he hoped it wasn’t too long.
“Annabeth,” he murmured, bringing a hand up to her face.
She let out a shaky breath and whispered, “Percy, thank the gods you’re okay. You had me worried...”
He stroked her cheek before she pulled back, smiling down at him. They were in the preserve, and Annabeth was kneeling in the dirt beside where Percy was splayed out on his back.
“Everyone make it?” he asked, wincing as he sat up.
He must have only been out for a few minutes, because everyone else was still slowly getting to their feet and wringing out their hair and clothes. They all seemed to be accounted for and awake - even Frank, who lit up as soon as he saw Percy moving.
“Percy!” he rushed over, Hazel at his side, and dropped down to the ground beside him. “Man, am I glad to see you.”
“Are you okay?” Percy asked, checking him over for injuries. There were red marks on his wrist and a deep scratch down the side of his face, and he looked like he hadn’t slept in weeks.
“I’m fine, now that I’m out of there,” Frank said. “That was a good trick with the water, by the way, nothing like a tsunami to wake you up and get you out of an underground prison.”
“It was Hazel’s idea,” Percy said, smiling gratefully.
Hazel ducked her head slightly, patting his hand. “Yeah, but we never would have made it out of there without you.”
“What the hell just happened?” The four demigods turned around to see a drenched Isaac, claws out and eyes flashing yellow.
“Whoa, Isaac, hey!” Scott put a placating hand on his chest, standing in front of him. “They just saved our lives.”
“Yeah, but how?” Stiles asked.
Allison tipped her quiver upside down and water poured out. “Where did that water come from?”
As usual, Percy looked to Annabeth for a cue on how to handle this. He didn’t think there was much point in trying to hide anything, now - there was no logical explanation for what had just happened, mist or no mist - and judging by the powers these guys had he didn’t think they’d find it all that hard to believe in demigods anyway.
Annabeth must have been on the same page as him, because she took a deep breath and said, “Do you want to tell them, or should I?”
“We’re telling them?” Frank said, frowning. “Is that a good idea?”
“You missed a bit while you were out, Frank,” Percy said, clapping him gently on the shoulder. “We don’t really have much choice at this point.”
Surprisingly, Frank didn’t seem at all comforted by this. “What’d I miss?”
“What just happened?” Stiles yelled, flinging his arms out to the side and spraying water droplets on to a stunned looking Lydia. “You can have your catch up later, after you’ve explained how you managed to summon water from nowhere to carry us out of that maze of death! What are you?”
Percy and Annabeth shared another look before Percy decided the direct approach was their best bet, at this point. “We’re demigods. What are you?”
“You’re demi-what?” Isaac had retracted his claws and his eyes were no longer yellow, but he was still glowering.
“Demigods,” Annabeth repeated, voice stern. “What are you?”
Everyone looked to Derek, who had been loitering at the back of the group and watching the exchange with quiet interest. He said calmly, “I think you’ve already figured that out. If we confirm it, however, you have to promise to remember that we’re on your side.”
“Have we not already proved that, what with the following you into the freaking first circle of hell down there?” Stiles snapped.
Derek glared at him before refocusing on Percy and Annabeth. “I’m just saying, I understand your hesitance when we first met, but I want you to know that we have a common enemy.”
“Ah yes, nothing like strangers bonding over the same person trying to kill them,” Percy said. “I’ve met so many friends that way.”
Annabeth rolled her eyes and slowly stood. “We have an alliance, we get it. Now answer the question.”
The ground rumbled below them, and everyone froze.
“Not me,” Percy said, holding his hands up.
Hazel shook her head, damp curls bouncing. “That’s not good.”
Annabeth scanned the ground, eyes roving over tree roots and twigs, dirt patches and the gaping cracks that Percy had caused. “We need to go.”
“Where are we going?” Frank asked. He still looked slightly wobbly on his feet, and Percy was concerned that he wasn’t going to make it too far.
Scott must have had the same concerns, because he frowned at Frank. “The loft’s too far. We’ll go to my house.”
“Your house?” Annabeth and Stiles asked in unison.
Scott shrugged. “It’s closest to the preserve, and we really do need to get out of here before - before anything else comes after us.”
“We probably shouldn’t be spending any extra time around the Nemeton, anyway,” Allison said.
“Okay then,” Percy said decisively. “Scott, lead the way.”
Scott’s house was nice. It had that comfortable, lived in quality that all good homes had, and it was filled with photos of a younger Scott. Stiles featured in most of them, along with a beautiful woman who Percy assumed was Scott’s mother. There weren’t any photos of his father around.
The whole setting was eerily familiar, and Percy found himself overcome for a second by how much he missed his mom.
“Percy.”
He spun away from the photo on the mantle he was standing in front of to see the entire group had their eyes on him. Derek was standing behind the couch, arms folded and expression serious. Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Allison were crammed onto the couch, shoulder to shoulder, while Isaac had one armchair and Frank had the other. Hazel was perched on the arm beside Frank, and Annabeth came around to stand beside Percy. They all had towels draped over their shoulders, trying to dry themselves off.
As soon as she was up there with him, he felt better about having all of their focus. This was just like a camp meeting, no big deal. He could easily talk to these kids about all of the weird shit they were going through. He’d done it a million times before.
Except the kids he was used to talking to were demigods, not...
“What are you?” he asked bluntly, too tired to bother dancing around the question.
Now that he could see Frank and Hazel alive and safe before him, the adrenaline Percy had been running on was fading.
Everyone craned their necks to look back at Derek, but they were all surprised when it was Scott who answered, “We’re werewolves.”
All the colour drained from Frank’s face as he grabbed for Hazel’s hand. Hazel was gaping at Scott, eyes wide, but Annabeth’s face was unreadable.
Percy figured that she was like him and had figured it out back in the clearing when they’d fought the hellhound. He’d wanted to ask about it then - he’d never met any cooperative werewolves before, believe it or not - but he’d been slightly preoccupied with saving Hazel and Frank.
Annabeth slowly looked around the group. “Not all of you.”
“No, not all of us,” Derek agreed, but he didn’t say anything further.
“Wait, hold up,” Stiles said, holding his arms out in front of himself, palms facing Annabeth. “Why are you acting like this isn’t a big deal?”
Annabeth smirked, and Percy actually laughed, explaining, “Werewolves aren’t really high on our list of mind blowing discoveries, trust me.”
Isaac was definitely offended.
Ignoring the jibe, Scott rounded on Derek. “You knew they were demigods.”
“I had my suspicions,” Derek admitted.
“How did you know about us?” Percy asked. “Have you met demigods before?”
“Wait, can we just - back up, a second?” Isaac said, shaking his head. “What exactly is a demigod?”
Percy raised an eyebrow at Annabeth. “You’ve given the spiel more times than me, you wanna handle this one?”
“We’re children of gods and mortals,” she explained flippantly, as though this was the least exciting and least pressing thing they had to talk about. “Greek and Roman gods, specifically. Our abilities vary, but just know that we’re very good at what we do.”
Percy made a note to steal that line for next time he was doing orientation at Camp.
“You’re asking to believe in gods, now?” Isaac questioned, disbelieving.
“You believe in werewolves,” Annabeth countered.
“Yeah, but that’s -”
“Different, that’s different,” Stiles exclaimed, sitting so far forward on the couch he was almost off it. “The bite is - it’s a thing, it’s a chemical reaction, or something -”
Lydia snorted at that eloquent description.
Stiles ignored her. “Gods are -”
“Real,” Annabeth said, leaving no room for discussion. “I’d think that you’d be inclined to believe us after witnessing Percy, son of Poseidon, create an earthquake and summon water from an underground spring to get us out of the Labyrinth, but if you really insist on being ignorant it doesn’t change anything. We’re demigods, and some of you are werewolves, and apparently we have a common enemy.”
The last bit was directed at a pensive looking Derek. He sighed and said, “I haven’t met any demigods before you, but I’d heard stories. Children of the gods with mighty powers, weapons and training to kill monsters - monsters like us. The stories said there was a base in California, a military camp that branded its soldiers.”
Percy fought the instinct to look down at his SPQR tattoo.
Derek walked around to stand across the mantel from Percy. “When I found the photo in the woods, I knew straight away that it must have belonged to one of the demigods from the stories. I recognised the logo on your shirts - on the purple ones, anyway. I knew you had to be young, and I knew that your kind don’t like drawing attention to themselves, so when I rang Scott to see if there’d been any new arrivals at the high school and he said he was with you guys, I knew it had to be connected.”
“What were you doing in the woods in the first place?” Lydia asked. She had, up until now, been extremely quiet. Percy might have thought she’d been overwhelmed, but he’d been friends with Annabeth long enough to recognise when someone was strategically gathering information.
“I got word of some attacks in Beacon County a few weeks ago,” Derek said, sounding more hesitant now. “At first I thought it was just an omega gone rogue, pushed into our territory out of desperation, but then... then I heard some other rumours.”
“You think the same person who took Hazel and Frank is responsible for those attacks?” Scott asked.
“We were sent down here to scout out the same attacks,” Hazel said. “I’m not one hundred percent sure who captured us, but I heard bits and pieces when they thought I wasn’t listening, or when...” She trailed off. Frank squeezed her hand, and Percy felt a rage boiling in his chest. “Anyway. I heard some things, and if what I’ve pieced together is correct, it makes sense that you guys are werewolves.”
“What does that mean?” Allison asked.
“It -”
Hazel was cut off by the front door opening and a woman calling out, “Scott! Are you here? I’m ho -” She trailed off as she looked into the lounge, eyes widening as she took in the sight of the group of teenagers dripping water all over her couches. “-me.”
Scott smiled sheepishly. “Hi, Mom.”

@pjosecretsanta2016 Ok, so this is @daisypeachi ‘s gift, I hope you like it! and sorry if it a little bit sucky, I haven’t written in long time
Thank you for taking care of your siblings, Percy.” Sally hugged her son as tight as she could. “We’ll be back by the end of  the week, I’m so sorry sweetie, but Paul and I need to go to this conference, it’s really important for his work and for mine, I’m afraid that we won’t be able to spend new year’s eve with you”
“Don’t worry mom we’ll be alright, Zoe wanted to go to the aquarium today and spend the day there” Percy said with a carefree smile.
“But-“
“Sally love, as much as it pains me to leave our children alone for the festivities, I think we have to go now” Paul suggested having carried the luggage to the front door ready to depart, “Zoe’s old enough to call us if something happens, and Percy is a wonderful babysitter”
“Don’t worry mommy, big brother and I will be good, I promise!” Zoe insisted turning her big brown puppy-eyes to her mother, unlike Percy who resembled his father, Zoe took a good resemblance to Sally and not just her looks, her personality was just as marvelous.
“I’ll make sure big brother behaves too!” Tyson added running up to meet them having unpacked his belongings for the weekend
“I’m sure you will Tyson,” Sally smiled fondly as he hugged her younger son.
Once everyone had said their goodbyes, Sally and Paul got out to take a cab to reach their flight in time, which left Percy, Tyson and Zoe alone for the whole week. Having nothing else to do today aside from watching cartoons and laying on the couch, they all got ready to go to the aquarium.
“Ok Tyson, Zoe, let’s look back on it again.” Percy inquired once they got everything ready to leave, “what do you do if by any chance we get separated?”
“Go to the reception desk and tell them we’re lost” both answered in unison with a monotonous tone, see, the thing is; having it said the first 5 times, it kind of gets a little bit annoying.
“And if there’s a suspicious person that seems to be following you?”
“Stay clear from closed off places and look for an officer”
“Okay, what if-“
“Big brother, we get it, we have been over this 10 times already, can we go now? The aquarium will be closed at this point when we get there” Zoe pleaded with Percy with the impatience that only a child could muster.
The Aquarium was bursting with life, fishes were swimming idly behind the thick glass wall, a variety of species so diverse it was hard to count them all, there were almost a bajillion fishes here or so Tyson said.
“Look! Look! Percy, its Rainbow!” Tyson Pointed excitedly at a little multi-colored Seahorse, out of all of them, it was the one that stood out the most, a multi colored seahorse, maintaining visual contact with Tyson. The little seahorse was just like one Tyson had. It was a gift from dad, but since he almost died from loneliness and Tyson could barely take care of him, they handed him to the aquarium, Percy didn’t know if that was the actual Rainbow, but he wasn’t going to ruin Tyson’s fun, so he just let him be.
After strolling around the facility for two hours or so, Percy wanted something to drink because, hey, middle of winter? It freezing; so after walking, for what seemed almost an eternity, they found a little coffee shop near the aquarium.
The coffee shop was… cozy. That was the only word that came to Percy’s mouth the moment they got in, fluffy couches and chairs adorned the little establishment painted with a dark earth color, the pleasant smell of fresh coffee penetrated Percy’s nostrils with the little heat that emanated from the back of the counter.
“Hello! Welcome to the Mist. How may I help you?” said the hot dude at the counter, he had tanned skin, blonde hair, and the bluest eyes you could imagine covered by those golden frames with the most tender smile someone could muster.
“Uh”
“Hello! My name’s Tyson and she’s Zoe and this is our big bro Percy!” Tyson exclaimed excitedly, saving Percy from making a fool out of himself.
“Well hello my name’s Jason, Would you like something to drink?” Jason smiled sweetly
“Yes please!” Tyson examined the menu where everything was sorted neatly, there were some coffee names that Percy didn’t even recognize and others he knew too well “I’d like a hot chocolate please!”
“Zoe, would you like a hot chocolate too” Percy asked Zoe whom has being held by her sibling on his arms.
“Yes please”
“w-well then it’d be two hot chocolates and a latte please” Percy said to the hot barista
“No problem, it’ll be $15, if you want to maybe take a seat? I’ll take your order for you” Jason said and he started working. After some minutes the three hot beverages were ready, the blond took them to the table and gave each one their respective drink. “Here you go, if you need anything please don’t doubt on asking”
“Yeah, thank you”
“Thank you Jason!”
“Thank you Mr. Jason”
After being there for a little while Jason went to the table and started having small talk with Percy and co. Apparently the café  was owned by Jason’s friend Hazel and husband Frank  which resulted in Percy knowing her by her brother Nico which was a friend of his.
“Wow, I can’t believe this is Hazel’s café, I mean, Nico told me she opened a little business of her own, but this is in no means a little business” Percy exclaimed in awe, because all of this was built from scratch, according to Nico.
“Yeah, Haze, Frank and Leo worked really hard on this, I’d sometimes show up to offer some help, and when we got all done, They gave me the job, said it was easier because they already knew me” Jason said amiably sitting on the chair in front of Percy.
“So what brings you up around here?” Jason asked idly, it seemed he didn’t want to be too nosy, which Percy found completely adorable.
“We were visiting the aquarium near here, I promised Zoe and Tyson I’d take them there and we just left there” Percy explained sipping at his coffee
“And did you two liked it?” Jason asked Tyson and Zoe to make them feel included in the conversation, so far, Jason was scoring point after point in Percy’s checklist
“Yes we did! We saw pretty fishes and seahorses and Rainbow was there too!” Tyson rambled excitedly at Jason’s question, at the mention of Rainbow Jason just arched an eyebrow to silently ask Percy who was Rainbow which Percy explained it was Tyson’s former pet.                                                             They started talking casually about their lives casually sipping their drinks. Percy told Jason that he wanted to study Marine biology and that he was captain of the college swim team. Jason was studying to become a politician and was captain of the football team, which earned him a typical jock joke from Percy.
Time flew by and it was time to head back home, the Jackson-Blofis kids promised on coming back and said their farewells to Jason. Percy, Zoe and Tyson kept their promise and went the day after, and the day after that, and the one after and… Let’s just say they became regular customers.
New Year came and went and Sally and Paul came back, Percy decided after a long- term debate between himself and a skype call from Annabeth. That he was going to ask Jason out, and see if what he thought he was seeing was real or it was just wishful thinking.
“Hey Percy! Tyson and Zoe are not coming today?” Hazel said as Percy passed through the door
“Not today Haze, Zoe went with mom to do the groceries and Tyson is with Paul, they went to Central Park with Mrs. O’Leary, so I’m all alone today” Percy tried to act nonchalantly while his gaze surveilled the premises, no  mop of blonde hair to be found though. Even though Percy wanted to ask Jason out on a date, if the signals he got from him were right the, there should be nothing to fear. What Percy was scared of is that Jason was being just too nice for the Shop’s sake and he was receiving mixed signals.
“Jason took the day off, if you’re looking for him” Hazel said inadvertedly, never taking the look off the coffee machine
“WH-what makes you think I’m looking for him?” Percy dodged defensively and crossed his arms as he tried to make the heat on his cheeks to go away
“Oh, I don’t know, it may be the fact that he’s totally your type, or those times that you were ogling at him when you thought nobody noticed, or the way your whole face lights up   when you’re talking with him;” Hazel listed as if it were the shopping list she was reciting. “And because-“
“Ok, ok, ok! I get it Hazel, I’m pretty obvious,” Percy said, the heat rushing on his cheeks returning full force “you can stop teasing me now”
“Don’t worry Percy, between you and me I think he likes you too” Hazel confided to Percy as she leaned closer so Percy could hear better, it wasn’t like there was someone at this hour of the day, but the secretiveness gave a feeling of insurance, “maybe you should go home, I heard from Annabeth that Thalia needed Help with something, and since you two are neighbors why don’t you go and help her”
“Yeah, I’ll do that” Percy agreed defeated “thanks haze, see you later”
The walk home seemed larger than expected, with Percy’s mind somewhere else, he walked leisurely, through the streets of New York. Mom and Paul shouldn’t be home till 4 o’clock, which gave enough time to Percy for Helping Thalia with whatever that was she needed help.                                                                                             When Percy reached Thalia’s he noticed that some of her furniture was out in the hallway, other stuff was being moved by some of her friends.
“Hey Jackson! How are you man?” Thalia greeted him when Percy entered the apartment, she was carrying a small couch. Scattered pieces of what seemed a lost battle against IKEA were littered on the floor.
“Hey thals, I’m fine”
“Good, cause I need help with this Device from the underworld” Thalia kicked one of the IKEA’s pieces which sent it flying all the way through the living room
“That’s more wise girl’s Territory, sorry about that”
“Ugh’ she’s in Cali with her Family, and this fucker won’t even resemble what’s supposed to” Thalia groaned grasping her hair in both hands
“Dude, It’s from IKEA, what did you expect?” Percy snickered at the punk’s attitude and her inherently defeat against what seemed a… coffee table?
“Why are you moving all the furniture?” Percy asked moving aside to let Phoebe and other girl he didn’t recognize move in with a bar table.
“I’m making a complete make-over to the apartment, my little brother just moved in and I realized my furniture is not exactly “family friendly” since I hardly lived here” she said air quoting the family friendly part, which, was true, because of Thalia’s work she had to go on business trips a lot and seldom lived the place. Percy started helping rearranging and moving in and out the furniture that was supposed to be moved. After an hour or so of moving stuff around the one that Percy expected the least came through the door
“Thalia, I brought Leo here to help us build the- Percy?” Jason halted right in his tracks making the small Latino behind him crash against him and fall to the floor
“Jason, bro, next time warn me beforehand won’t you?” Leo grumbled dusting himself off  ”ok, so where’s the so called “device from the underworld” that needs to be tamed b Bad boy supreme”
After letting Leo do his “magic”, Percy and Jason went to the Balcony to talk, because according to Thalia “that sexual tension is so steep it can be cut with a knife”
“So, Thals is your sister?” Percy casually asked trying to lessen the more than awkward mood that draped over them.
“Yeah older, just by appearance one would think that we’re not related at all” Jason chuckled “it would surprise you how many times we had to clarify we were brother and sister”
“Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised considered how different you’re from her, you look like the goody two shoes and thals looks like the kind of girl who punch goody two shoes and steals their money”
“Yeah.” Jason laughed “it’s kind of true”
Silence befell and the two of them just stared at the landscape, the sun was almost setting, bathing everything in a light orange light, the buildings and skyscrapers making shadows by obstructing the light
“Jason, I’ve got something to ask you” Percy began, as he twiddled with his thumbs “I don’t know if I read too much into things and by any means if this will make you uncomfortable, I’m sorry but” Percy took a deep breath, mentally steeling himself to do this, when did this become so hard? Damn it!
“Would you like to go to my place after this, for a cup of coffee?” Percy asked, unsure of the answer as he ran his hand through his black hair.
The silence that permeated the ambience turned into agony, every second was torture waiting for his answer. At last Jason turned around him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“I’d love to” Jason answered leaning on the banister
“Oi! Kelp head! Less flirting with my little brother more helping me move the furniture!” Thalia shouted from the inside the apartment
“Jason bro should I tell piper that you finally got a date or you’ll do it by yourself?” Leo teased having finished flawlessly the little coffee table that was now in the middle of the living room
“Ha ha, yeah whatever you say Thals”
“Shut up firebug, don’t ruin the moment”
And the two went into the apartment
