susan doesn't have wiki page lol, no colors for her jddlfhskdhsfsk
It's gonna be... bore than one part in between first and last one. Maybe 3, inclusing this. I hope there won't be more.... for something that shouldn't have continuation, this thing has awfully many parts
fire can hurt him while he's moving as a shadow because it's, like, LIGHT. And light and shadows don't mix together very well. Alastor did not know that. Nobody knew (and knows) (he never told susan how much damage she caused).
Honestly, the idea that Alastor, Mr. Big, Scary Radio Demon, might have had to deal with getting heckled by a rude grandma himself before is just hilarious.
(alternatively, there were times where he wanted to just move along on with whatever business the Cannibal Colony was getting up to, and just couldn't because Susan decided to take, like, five hours arguing with everyone about it.)
She calls him Albert and still has no idea that it's not his name. He has told her numerous times.
She (badly) eavesdrops on his conversations and relays what she mishears to large crowds.
"I heard him say he wants to marry that nice television boy." - Susan 2024
Susan likes to imply that Alastor is, in fact, an awful, modern young man with his radios and his walker talkers.
She cannot pronounce microphone and Alastor thinks it's a personal attack at this point. Sometimes she calls it a microwave while making direct eye contact.
Susan has never listened to any music past 1899 and believes Jazz is the devil's music (and not in the good way). Gramophones are the only acceptable at-home listening experience.
She likes to tell Rosie that Alastor is trouble. This is true, but still offensive.
When told he was a deer demon, Susan countered that Alastor wasn't nearly pretty enough for that.
Susan is the only demon who has managed to fully derail one of Alastor's broadcasts when he did a special live show in Cannibal Town.
Vox didn't let him live it down for 10 years and Rosie likes to refer back to his semi-hysterical, anti-Susan tirade as "inspired and honestly a delight to hear"
Susan is not the gentle grandmother stereotype of old lady. She is the "I lived a long time to give a shit on what people think" type of old lady. The one that is impatient, grumpy, blunt, and say what's on her mind without any filter. She would be the relative you don't want at your Thanksgiving meal as they spout racist/sexist/homophobic/etc things without remorse.
She probably never shown any proper respect or fear of the notorious Radio demon. Alastor finding her manners and opinions distasteful as she interrupts Alastor conversations with Rosie constantly and/or drags her own conversation agonizing long with Rosie as Alastor tries to wait for his time with Rosie to resume. Alastor being much younger "whippersnapper" between Rosie and Susan. I wouldn't be surprised if Susan had at one point, shushed Alastor for trying resume his conversation and Susan saying "Hold your tongue, the adults are speaking." A flare of irritation visibling showing on Alastor and barely restraining himself to act upon it, instead smile widely ad a force laugh it off.
Alastor can't and won't do anything to Susan. He usually targets men to kill. So Susan being a woman and elderly conflicts with his own morals. You know Alastor would be the type that respected the elderly. Even if he willing to cast aside his own morals in favor to destroy Susan, She is under Rosie territory. The satisfaction of ridding Susan isn't worth the repercussion or the strain of Rosie friendship. So, he forced to put up with Susan in favor for Rosie.
What makes her relationship-or lack thereof with Alastor funny is that they are probably similar with their adverse of modern technology after their deaths. Susan probably hates Alastor music and fondness of radio. That his music is the Hell version of "devils music" to her. She constantly hackles him like she did with Charlie. One of the very few or perhaps the only one to do so in both life and afterlife. He usually can perform witty banter with his sharp words can put any would be hacklers in place but Susan...oh Susan, she doesn't let Alastor use his greatest arsenal.-his sharp tongue. She just talks over and interrupts him so he cant get a word out. It's so infuriating to him not to be able get a word out, to speak. Which is his main talent, his livelihood while alive.
I think Susan see Alastor as a smart aleck whippersnapper, and Susan is the "get off my lawn" to him whenever he visits the town.
I just love Alastor since I watched the pilot years ago but I grew to love him more with the series. I just find his relationship with other people so intriguing.
You know what I want for season 2? A filler episode that serves no purpose other than to explain Alastor and Rosie's pure contempt and exasperation for Susan.
